I haven’t seen anyone mention this yet, so I will. You only need 1k ranks to max out every WvW trait line. Expecting requirements to be over rank 500 is probably unrealistic. You only need rank 50 to unlock the first backpiece, “very high” could be rank 300-400 for Anet. We just don’t know and PvE’rs are already complaining…

They tried doing Living Story stuff in wvw and people freaked out. Toxic events. I think during winter’s day we get dolyak and siege projectile changes. And NNC always has holiday lights strung up.

Those stupid Scarlet probes all over too. I don’t remember if they had the massive knockback radius on them in actual wvw, but i’m sure the ones that were in EoTM did. On that note, I think those probes are actually still in eotm, in the bottom layer of the center.

With the death of esports pvp finally being a real thing, maybe Anet will focus on WvW instead of just doing gimmick after gimmick to try and get players to do pvp.

Well, BG decided to go back to EoTM when FA and JQ moved up and started pushing them to 3rd for a few weeks. Anet clearly saw that BG didn’t deserve T1 anymore if they wanted to try only when they were already winning, thus You guys are now in matchups you can Ktrain your brains out!

The BG community should be so happy now that they can blob everything and win again.

looking at the EU matchups on mos, it looks like they might be correct, need an EU to confirm.

Based on that, it looks like it is NA matchup issues in the API exclusively. Note that when the API went down for everything else and was bugged to kitten a few weeks ago it was notification after notification – it is WvW only now and we’re back to not caring…

BG had at least 7 guilds transfer to their server during the off season up to 3 weeks prior to Season 2 starting. I know this because I was there, 7 blackouts called to bring in 7 different guilds. I also know only 1 left.

The question is, how many more guilds joined BG the 3 weeks prior to Season 2 starting? Somehow I think more than 7 transferred there. I can tell you for sure that TC did not have 7 guilds transfer to them. I can’t speak for JQ but I’m pretty sure they did not have 7 guilds transfer to them either.

Before all the transferring went on who had the best coverage to begin with out of the 3? BG of course, did they need those (at least 7 guilds)? Not by a long shot.

You can spy all you want. Truth is, we have 2 new guilds which weren’t part of season 1, NV and SUPR. Both have like 1 pug commander each and 20 men guilds.

Yes BG does have the coverage. But BG has weaknesses, and in those times I know for sure TC and JQ has zergs

BG turned down many guilds that wanted to transfer and asked them to join other servers. That for me shows that their management was a true winner wanting fights and fun rather than childish play!

I heard the blob guild [GODS] transferred over to BG from FA.

There’s more than one exit, and BG’s blob could split and easily take out those scary pieces of wood with a two pronged flank pushing TC and JQ together, but I guess looking clueless on the steps is a good alternative.

It’s like you actually believe BG didn’t tank in advance to squeeze in guilds.

Chunky you are going to need to very carefully explain how losing a match squeezes in guilds, let alone losing multiple months of matches on end.

Or tell me the guilds that got squeezed in, I will ask them how it helped them.

I don’t get much in the know for WvW politics these days, I could really care less. Whatever a server does to get me fights, be it roaming or big ol’ blob fights, I’ll be happy.

But watching BG’s scores tank before the season, and then the talk of the obvious blackouts over on the matchup site were exactly what BG did for season 1, I know, I was there on BG when they did blackouts to get COIN over from EU and that’s when I left for JQ.

I really don’t have much for “server loyalty” or any of that BS but what BG does to win is a common occurrence.

2v1 is a feature, Anet has stated as such, im not inclined to quote it but minimal effort is source the quote.

How is abiding by a game mode a breach?

By that definition, NOT 2v1ing is also a breach as it virtually hands the server who has the largest population a win no?

Mysticque and I have been running for hours upon hours daily in WvW. It’s not that we don’t appreciate a good challenge, it’s that it just gets tiring trying to take an objective from JQ and wiping them and watching the TC zerg come in and defend JQ’s points for them until they regroup and vice versa. The fights themselves are good yes, and many are enjoyable, it just takes a toll on us and it gets annoying spending hours in a single fight making no headway because each server is defending the other’s objectives without even wanting to capture it for themselves. Map politics is one thing, this is on an entirely new level.

That’s kind of the point of a 2v1, to not let you have things.

That’s the biggest problem with a vocal minority, they are the most vocal.

If the match actually plays out, JQ has an equal chance of winning a legitimate match. Don’t act like JQ has silver league population. If you believe that, then they got you fooled.

Contrary to popular belief, T1 isn’t Que-Locked outside of Reset night, and even then, the que’s aren’t hours long like most people seem to be disillusioned into believing.

I’ve played in a low tier server. I spent about a month on RoF over in EU when they were rank 21/22, I’ve been the stomped side of a match. Locking players out just because you have a smaller population isn’t a solution.
