• Request/Suggestion for an Option to Park Characters in our Guild Halls*

We can do it at the Royal Terrace, and to my knowledge the Airship as well. In Guild Wars 1 also. With Guild Halls in game now, this would be a Godsend for a few reasons I could think of below.

• Faster load times compared to most major cities and especially the newer maps (ehem LA).
• Hit guild gathering nodes before taking off to the land of Tyria.
• Checking in with folks prepping events while doing your own prep work.
• Inst-Repair, bank access, guild bank access.
• Proc/See/Check on guild hall progression and seeing what is still needed instead of hounding that one guy who happens to be in the Hall when you ask. Adds a bit of added emphasis on the Hall itself.
• Guild Portal. Sure it has limited uses, but if you’re trying to hurry up and get to a mission etc it’s there, it’s helpful, and hell….we earned it already might as well use it.

I could go on and on, and I’m sure others have their own reasons. I get that people enjoy the ability to hop into guild hall, do what’s needed to be done & then exit and go back to the last place they were in the open world. That discussion is the purpose of these forums. Who knows maybe even have it as an option to “Stay in Guild Hall upon relog/character select” or simply uncheck the box and don’t do that.

Regardless, I know I’d love it to death as well as many friends and guild members I’ve talked about it with. All input appreciated.

In retrospect I should have just emailed or did a ticket or something, but I figured it would be buried in the usual Patch Day Tickets. Also, didn’t want to start a witch hunt and didn’t even think about it until I got back to work (forums blocked there) so my bad on that part.

If it was just a FB page or logo that’s pretty petty and minor. But they sell A LOT of stuff with the Dragons Head on it so to me that’s a red flag. Not to mention the INSANE amount of respect I have for Kekai Kotaki etc. Those artists should be credited where it is due and that’s the biggest piece for me.

However I’m pretty certain this company has the GW2 logo everywhere on the sites and all over a ton of merchandise/magazines/posters/weapons/MMA gear. Best part about being on a mid tier server, is having motivation to get better and better instead of QQ’ing over population & coverage wins.

All of you elitist nerds portraying some amazing wvw skills due to pure population should try playing on a server outmanned 24/7 and still pulling off a 1st place finish. Welcome the the internet. Not everyone plays when you are allowed to play, and no one is going to step away from the keyboard when you have to. 24/7 we’re killing each other. We were in DB BL first, but it was completely dead. There was nobody to fight. So, we switched to IoJ BL and had the outmanned buff when we first got there.

Keep in mind that DB doesn’t have very good NA coverage. So, if you aren’t in their BL and they aren’t in their BL (but are in yours instead) then people looking for fights during the primetime hours will end up in IoJ BL.

I wont argue with you as you’re a trustworthy and respected dude in my eyes. But of course DB BL is dead when it’s a feeding frenzy on IoJ. If guild groups don’t show, IoJ BL is effed. No offense to our pugs, but they have the coordination of a epileptic white kid at a break dancing contest. With strobe lights. And fog. With spiked punch & free red bulls. But they wreck DB. Consistently.

Just saying night after night & day after day, 90% of any action outside of Eternal BG is on IoJ BL. The other 10% is when IoJ gets brave and pokes the bear on either EBay or DB’s maps.

Otherwise it’s an insanely unnecessary amount of people k-training us on IoJ and no one else takes a dent of damage.

Refer to my earlier post with the screenshot that’s pretty much routine now. EB and DB refuse to milk each other, so we’re forced to play D and milk you both for loots. No QQ here (no pun intended as I love Ooze) but dang guys…feel free to dabble in BL’s other than IoJ’s. You both outnumber us to the teeth…yet you’re both nerd herding us 24/7. It’s good defense practice, but really boring. We’re used to it. We were the worst stat server in all of season 1. But challenge yourselves a bit, and bump heads with each other with those 30+ man zergs.

Either way we’ll do what we have to do without any hurt feelings. We’re used to it, since the 1st exodus. But you’re seriously cheating yourselves and those huge guild groups you can field by not challenging yourselves and hitting the more populated targets. Seems like most enemy guilds are just in it for karma trains considering what we’ve observed. PPT doesn’t matter to us. We’re here for the fights, and judging by the performances of both servers you could really use the practice vs equal numbers. Especially if so few of us can wreck so many of you.

The ONE time I try to waypoint an enemy keep the other server decides to zerg it down. I guess I just lost 20 gold of superior siege to some desperate dragonwagons. This makes me sad.

Want to have some fun? Drop down & help salvage a lower ranked server. Simple as that.

My toons are still pretty beat up from those rounds, my necro doesn’t even want to be bothered at the moment. Great games [Yarr]. I’m not sure if your style is unorthodox compared to anything we’ve faced in the past. Or if we should thank our new giant circular arena. I’d hate to fight you guys on the tiny strip of land by the windmill…from up top when I was speccing, it looked like a big red bowl of cheerios lol. Quoted for truth. But we are all well aware that the DH “troublemakers” are gone and don’t hold any of the past against you. You’re a server, not one or two massive guilds. With that being said, pardon the nonsense here and try to not hold it against all of IoJ.

No one is playing God. Or pretending you’re “kittens”. It’s called strategy. A tactic DH used to be extremely good at. Except we’re not farming the “easier” server in third place for all of our points.

Been great fights all week, if you have issues with each other lets keep it on the battlefield. You guys have some great guilds, and this week has been a blast. Let’s keep it that way. We’re all recovering from seasons. Rebuilding etc. But just because IoJ is in the match up doesn’t mean we’re a silver league server…we just got stuck there thanks to week 2 transfers (A LOT OF THEM).

IoJ doesn’t love this match up because we’re in first. We love it because we can actually have fun again.

Don’t take it personally DH, those that abandoned you farmed IoJ to the point that revenge has a taste so sweet words can’t describe it. You ladies and gents are always a fun match regardless of PPT or score. [FUN] guild…..I can’t but admire your tenacity (no offense at all). Too many fun fights to count.

Fergs bros, I remember back when IoJ and FC had a unofficial alliance to stop DR from farming the easy server (Fergs in the match) for easy points….and FC Stepped up and put those jerks in third. DR fell apart shortly after, and you guys went from an ez win server to a powerhouse full of dedication. Totally impressed keep up the good fight FC peoples.

Thanks to seasons and kitten guilds it’s been a long couple of months with people leaving after seasons started. IoJ did worse in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place placings than any other server in the game. Trust me when I say that a matchup with semi-equal wvw population is more welcomed than anything I could say here.

At this point noone cares who wins. We’re just trying to have some fun without frowning everytime we see red names. Keep up the good fight DH & FC. Who cares who wins, lets just have some fun. /respect

Good fights. Though I’m going to have to disagree with you on your numbers. MEND may have had 30 in hills, but in total it seems like most of the map was in there for the night. KoR and HARD would be out running but when your largest presence on the map is locked in a keep like that it defeats the purpose.

As much as it pains me to say, HARD couldn’t field a third of what we would’ve liked as the bloodthirsty IoJ-Bros had our BL queue’d all nite. The few that made it past the horrid lootblocking queue, stuck with Flappy & the Mend bros. And I do believe the 20-25 of us wiped EB & FA a minimum of 3x each. Just short of two solid hours of watching the same enemies die in the same place. Good job on the pressure though. It was intense. Awesome job and much respect to Mend for the lead and sticking it out so long that I almost ran out of beer before everyone but IoJ gave up on our Hills.

As for CORE, I hope you all are enjoying your new home with the easier wins.

But expect no shelter here. We don’t care about beating Ebay. We don’t care about beating FA. We care about having a blast and making the best of it all as usual. You already know 99% of the IoJ WvW population is gunning for you. If you want open field, I’ll be more than happy to oblige. We can make it happen. I have a few friends that would love to tag along if you don’t mind. :P

Nice to see some respectful 1v1’s this time of night, as 4 hours of roaming resulted in the rudest of impressions. Some people dont understand the whole /bow @ ordeal I guess certain times of day.

Nonetheless, I had my face smashed in by a Gasm war with a Duck Dynasty beard. Fought a guard who couldnt kill me and I couldn’t kill him, and yet we still all had some fun. Bow/Saluted and went our merry way. Much love to those players…I know it’s WvW but it’s lovely to fight people who just want to test their own sand 1 on 1 without 4 others hopping in.

As for BP, I have nothing negative to say. You guys & gals had at least 4 groups (3 pure guild) running all over our BL’s all night. And it was a blast. Put IoJ back on it’s toes, and was some awesome fights all around.

Just gonna throw this out there. If you want an uninterrupted duel, go to the windmill, or any other place on the map that doesnt have thousands of people run through it on a daily basis. The fact that you are so kitten over this is hilarious. And the fact that it is IoJ who is complaining about ruining 1v1s just makes it so much funnier.

The fact that the windmill was the first place this happened deems the rest of your nonsense invalid. Second was at ruins, third was windmill. Kthx.

Point blank and simple, if you want to have a fight club have one. Not a “OH SNAP DUDE IS ALMOST DEAD JUMP IN A GET HIM” or a “OH SNAP DUDE WON AND IS CLOSE TO DEAD SO LETS STOMP HIM OUT” club.

Many people have seen it, talked about it, and been upset about it. And it’s the same guild every time. Server origin has nothing to do with it, guild origin however does. NA jumps and dumps people clearly in 1v1 fights. Nothing more nothing less, and I’m not the only person to see it happen. That’s the base and source of all of this. Police up your people or deal with the kittenty rep…I don’t care either way. Just know..that we now know….you aren’t worth our time. If you aggro said passer-through expect a fight…no matter how disrespectful that is towards a player respecting your little 1v1 get together. But when said aggro’d player drops one of you and you all jump in (second night in a row) you’re then just a bunch of kittenheads. Plain and simple.

If you’re referring to the fight I think you are, not many people duel on top of the sentry point. We deliberately hold fight club and similar events behind the windmill of south camp because it is an out of the way place of no importance.

Personally I highly recommend not even bothering with the respectful duels we can all usually expect from each other as this is the second night in a row I’ve watched NA (again the guild) do this. ^That times a million. It sucks, we know. But it’s not like we manipulated our evolution in matchups (throw a week or two and lose on purpose) to end up against servers with a fraction of our overall population. IoJ has been there, and in the past if either of the servers were in a matchup with us (IoJ) and a larger threat…we wouldn’t even bother farming you for points. Now however, we’re stuck. Sorry. It happens. Happened to us last week vs SBI. It’s lame, and it takes a toll on the morale of our servers completely. But there’s nothing we can do except make the best of it.

We have LOADS of roamers. LOAD’s of 1vx players in wvw, and a quiet a few tagless groups larger than 10 running map to map at least 50% of the time.

Both HoD and ET have given us a hell of a fight be it offense, defense, or open field. I’ve already shown respect before to ET because you guys just don’t quit. And it’s awesome. Not talking about tower humping where you chase them in and they defend, or pour out all at once, but plain and simple OPEN FIELD MADNESS.

Not for loots. Not for Wxp. Not because one has more numbers than the other….but dem fights. You ET bro’s & bro-ettes have heart. Never stop. Keep at it. Much respect.

I rarely have a repair bill. But this matchup has changed things a bit. ET is full of bloodthirsty monsters. Keep it up.

Very, very impressed with ET. I don’t know if you’ve had an influx of transfers or you’re just more organized. But you guys are RELENTLESS. Reminds me of IoJ about 7 months ago. Keep at it guys. Had a blast on open fields (/respect) and defense on ET BL.

Better late than never, but thanks & much respect to the [Kiwi] Guild for the GvG as well as the practice rounds afterwards to let the newer people test their sand. Was fun, and it’s refreshing to see Guilds change tactics up as the rounds go on. Good game, and best of luck in your next matchup.

It’s nice too see new faces in HoD a few IoJ has just transferred here I have no idea what sort of drama is going on there but apparently some of ur xfers from GoM raged them off ur server u guys need to sort it out over there id hate to see another Anvil Rock take place : ( other than that this week has been a nice vacation for HoD a lot of our weekly and weekend warriors r busy making moneys with new content and farming with the double teaming from SF and IOJ I’m really surprised we r still doing pretty well for ourselves keep fighting HoD I’ll try to be more active next matchup but at least I will have moneys ^^

IoJ has a pretty tight-knit wvw community, and our recent transfers from GoM have been nothing short of awesome in terms of WvW, and general interaction with the rest of the community so I find your extremely long sentence hard to believe. We have weekly Commander meetings, guild trainings, server wide TS with guild channels (even a few PVE-centric guilds), wvw trainings, and encourage any new commander (and reinforce the decisions made by them to the rest of the server) at all times. Zero Elitists over here. If there was actually any drama causing a transfer, I’m sure someone would’ve heard about it and tried to work it out. We’ve all been stressed to the point of going off on each other more than once, I’m guilty of that myself.

If people did transfer, good luck and good games. If not, sorry. Maybe a guest or two…we do that some times to fraternize with the “enemy” and throw together gvg’s and fight clubs.

You’ve all been fun to play against. But lets avoid the controversial troll nonsense on public forums.

We were very…..very…..very….bored. Trebs were for Mendons and Anz. After we took those it just spun wildly out of control with so much extra supply.

xD It was a lot of fun for us, too, and we took it as a learning experience…We don’t really care about losing, as long as we enjoyed ourselves (hence why we wanted to continue even after the official match was over.) The portal idea was definitely a good one, but just didn’t work for the amount of boons that you guys had going for you. :P Props to Bllades for thinking that up.

I was spectating the first two runs, and the biggest fear i had was that you all would feint back to rear port…then port back in behind our team once they passed your forward port. That would’ve been a nasty, nasty behind the back flank. Had me pretty nervous. To the point that we’ve all toyed with the idea of using it at some point.

Either way, GvG to the mature players isn’t about who’s better at doing what…it’s about learning how to overcome some wild/random/smart/dumb/etc strategies (none directed at you all). Everyone plays differently, and playing in a controlled environment with equal numbers vs so many variables of strategy only makes us better players. Can’t help but encourage other people and guilds to give it a shot. Best case scenario you learn something, worse case you learn something. It’s a win win situation.

I think I flipped everyones conditions and buffs into the complete opposite more than once.

It isn’t a contradiction when I directly mention the three. If I’m wrong about IoM interfering, then I’m wrong, and it’s just an insane misunderstanding considering the entirety of the situation. Be in my/our shoes. Think about it. I’m not taking shots at IoM/ET/ or anyone for that matter. Just the three who were down in the middle of a gvg to “rez a random necro” (which is still mind blowingly wrong in a GvG setting).

Surely my original post struck a nerve with some of you as it was a very much generalization by only mentioning IoM. That was between matches, so I came back when I could to further elaborate. My bad on that. But I never had intentions of calling IoM out as a whole, just letting you know…
