LotD would like to apologize for the glitch that occurred at Sunny Hill tower just now (a few minutes ago). The game glitched three people from our guild through the door while we and another guild were attacking with five superior rams.

When they ended up on the other side of the door they announced it in TS and I told them to get out of the tower. The door was almost down and I believe it came down before they got out.

LotD is a guild with 17 years of gaming history and does not condone cheating by our guild. If the members had intentionally glitched they would have been kicked form the guild immediately.

We had a great time in our fights in T1 against JQ and SoR last week. I have the utmost respect for EMP and hope you realize this was not an intentional incident.

I sincerely hope that this thread can keep the same tone throughout the week. As a player from SoR the PPT count was only going to be in our favor during NA prime time. I think we represented our server quite well. JQ proved yet again that they are the current kings of the hill. BG proved that they deserve not only to be in tier 1 but that they deserve the 2nd spot…..for now. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well BG did last week.

All the talk about server transfers means nothing – it is what it is. Quite frankly, and I think JQ will agree with this, BG getting those transfers only made tier 1 more exciting. Regrettably SoR can only truly represent during the NA time slot but we will continue to bring the fight to our opponents. I do not envy our Oceanics yet I am proud to have them with us. Should SoR ever get a large influx of Oceanic and European guilds then tier 1 would be a true 3 way fight.

And who wouldn’t enjoy that?

BG getting guilds to xfer is good for WvW since 2 servers fighting for 1st is better than 2 not being able to.

I also hope the thread can stay positive but I’m not holding my breath with the known trollers, whiners and chest-thumpers always hanging about.

Today I decided to farm a bit in Frostgorge while I was waiting for the Claw to appear. I roamed all over the northern area of Frostgorge killing all kinds of stuff as I went about. Funny thing is I droped at total of 60 large and 10 vicious claws. After the event I moved to WVW and what do you know……more claws. Pretty crazy. RNG is like a box of chocolates. I only whish I had such luck with the mystic forge.

They were most likely attempting to kitten talk you.
SoR has a problem with some of their players joining your party in order to trash talk you. They’ve got a few bad apples in the bunch, best to accept the invite, and if they are simply doing it to trash talk you, report them for verbal abuse, take down the name/guild, and ask an SoR person about it. Despite the mean things we say about them, im sure most SoR players would want to see that person reined in a little.

Ya next time I will add them to document the kitten talking. That’s too bad if so. I mean WvW is like pre school compared to more hard core pvp games Ive played so I dont get where anyone would want to chest thump over a kill in WvW. I run around solo or in small groups a lot. No one is immune from being defeated in WvW.

Or maybe all he wanted was a duel, I know it’s happened to me before. No need to make assumptions when you didn’t even accept his invite, you don’t know what he wanted.

It does seem like something is up tbh, today someone from my party logged off and his dot remained for an hour +

I had never really noticed before so I don’t know if it was something before Monday’s update or not (I usually reform party or ask if they can leave party before logging off).

This should be investigated ASAP imo as this can possibly affect a match up. Either way I will be telling my guild to log off in a PvE area before heading out.

I know on TC I’ve queued for 45 minutes to get in to WvW and had a friend queue up after I did, wait 10 minutes and get in. To me, that’s very strange, why would anyone who queued after someone else, get in before them?

As for why only 20 people respond on a full map? Not sure, but I have seen a lot of people out roaming around, just hanging out at the keeps or in secluded places; not really participating in the attack/defense of locations. Hopefully things will straighten up and we’ll have more response once the current match is over.

This has happened to me very recently too, was waiting for 30mins + on reset and had a guild member queue up for the same BL and get in instantly.

I think resetting everything with tier 1 all having a base of 1800 and descending 100 every tier, reaching a base of 1200 for tier 7 would be the absolutely best option at the moment.

Well, I think you and everyone else knows that they don’t need to do that to maintain the victory. Whether or not they glitched into the tower or not, your call.

My call? Really? It happened, there’s proof, and it is low for a server taking advantage of an exploit while having an overwhelming victory.
