I chose karmic infusion. however when I bought my amulet, i didn’t know about the fact that there were 3 types of infusions, just not blatantly obvious to me, all I saw was 3 amulets with the same stats and different names. I am not a fractals runner so really had no clue about infusions. my intention was to put a mighty infusion in that slot, only to find out that I couldn’t do that, so I spent a while trying to decide which utility one to get, none of them seem that great to me. Eventually I decided karma was best because maybe someday they will give us something good to do with all of our extra karma, like most people I am sitting on over 500,000 karma at the moment. I didn’t need extra xp, wasn’t sure if the extra gold from monsters included wvw player kills, and didn’t want the extra magic find as they are eliminating that stat from items now.
This wasn’t working for me either (at least not in the way most people think it should). Hitting f when used as the interact key is only single looting piles of stuff around me. I’m going to try changing F to aoe loot, and find some other key for interact.. maybe shift-F, however I wish F could do it all if you have the aoe loot on interact box checked as the box describes that it should (“AoE Loot on Interact”). Maybe shift-F for interact will help with those annoying times when you just want to loot, but end up talking to someone or rezzing something.
Agreed, I much prefer the look of the light armor over the medium armor skin – wish we could pick based on looks and not based on armor type. I would buy one if my asura engineer could wear the light look, but since I don’t like the medium look then I won’t get any of them.
The Big Boom should be viewable in other ways, such as talking to an npc that shows you what you missed (replays it for you). So many people missed out on this because during a one month long event, they only showed it for 3 days – lots of people have stuff going on in life and can’t login every day or on a specific set of 3 days at specific times, whether it is work, real life plans, emergencies, vacations, etc, things that prevent them from getting to their computer to login, plus there are people who apparently did login and still couldn’t get the achievement.
Also – agree with one previous poster – people wouldn’t be upset about missing this event if there wasn’t a reward given out for it. Now there are tons of people who are upset and frustrated because they feel like they will never be able to get the dragon helm.
11 crates opened so far, all found from looting. It wasn’t til day 3 of the event that I even found my first crate.
The only thing I found that wasn’t a crafting mat that I can get from other sources:
1 karka slaying potion
Didn’t bother counting numbers of these, but they were in the crates:
karka shells
passion flowers
passion fruits
I think that crates should always contain something rare, or not available other ways, otherwise what is the point of them, usually upon finding one, at first I’m excited, then I dread opening it cause I know it’s just gonna be junk.
anyone know if sigil of nullification would work to remove that retaliation?
another problem i have in that zone is reef drake applying confusion thus causing me to nearly kill myself if i use skills, would sigil of purification or generosity help there?
I think it would be nice if they would provide other ways to get it (like turn in 250 karka shells for example, or have it available for gold, or from the gem store, or maybe even have it not be bound so people could sell them, i’m sure people don’t want a flower backpiece) Some of us really like that thing and would want more than one anyways.
Unfortunately, if they can’t undelete your character, you are screwed, but apparently they only restore characters if you were hacked.
I know it is not the same thing at all, and so sorry to hear about this problem, but maybe your ranger would like having a quiver backpiece, available for gems in the black lion store, or how about a killer whale quaggan which are really cute. Or the tentacle thing, which personally I find really ugly and disturbing looking, but with the right colorscheme and outfit it works and looks pretty cool.

I’m like you, I wish GW2 had them. Plus, that would be a way for them to make money, and for their players to enjoy the game more.
Since there are no houses in the near future of GW2, if at all, I’m going to recommend you look elsewhere for your housing fix. If you want player housing and guild halls – they exist in Everquest 2, and they are awesome. They are so good that some people pay real money to buy the houses and the items that go in them (you can also buy them with in game currency, get items from quests, display trophies and pets, etc. I like the free New Halas 2 room house). They also have housing leaderboards, people decorate them, you can visit their houses, and they get ranked based on likes.
I preferred the original dailies as well, I could get those done easily while doing whatever else I wanted to do that day.
The new ones are so annoying that I don’t do them, and lately don’t even bother to login. It’s like a sick joke that someone is pulling, but it’s not funny anymore.
These dailies are their ticket to making a lot of people not want to play.
Also, I agree that dailies shouldn’t reset if you did not finish them the previous day, suppose for example you only completed one 1 out of 5 – this way someone could in theory take 5 days to finish something.
In this case, losing the glow is a known bug, and people have been known to get a refund for the purchase of the kit because of it.

Yea they gave you a low level back item, but didn’t tell you about it, and didn’t put any sort of description on it to tell you what it is, so most people will see it and be like what the heck is this thing and vendor it, it looks like the normal leather salvage items we get all the time, and even has the same name, and it vendors for 1 copper, the only difference being it says Account bound on it and doesn’t say salvageable.
Try doing your personal story quest, or buy a level 35 “spineguard” off the tp, then level up.
Did you check your mailbox for the consumable item that you have to click on to unlock it? of course make sure to make room for that mail in your mailbox too by deleting old mails if needed.
You will receive it, but you won’t be able to use it. So you will have lost your 480 gems and have a useless item sitting in your inventory. This is bad service on their part, they shouldn’t allow you to buy something you cannot use, and clearly they knew it would be a problem.

After doing today’s daily , I have to say, this dodge daily is not fun at all. I spent way more time than I wanted to finding stuff that I can try to dodge 15 times against, plus I was with another person so you can imagine how much longer that took. I was annoyed the entire time – whereas I should have been doing something that was fun.
Please remove the dodging daily – it’s just not fun.
This is a game, we want fun stuff, not annoying stuff to do.

This problem is fixed now (for flame eye). Just saw it in game.
i would like to see a change where if you partially complete a daily, it does not reset the next day, it would instead save your progress so you can finish it. this way, people who dont have time to complete everything can get bits of it done and not lose progress, and get a daily done at least every few days.
say for example you login and only get two events and ten kills and ten gathers done, but wont have time to finish before the next reset. instead of losing progress the next day, it keeps your progress, then you login and only need to finish what was leftover to get a daily credit. i am not saying you should get an extra daily, but rather give a better chance for people with less playtime to complete them..
I have the same problem as of today with the flame eye, the glowy graphic is not displayed after I transmuted it onto another head item, very disappointed, then went to forums to check if others had this problem.

Please give us the ability to change our selling price bids. Otherwise we end up with items on the tp for days that turn into weeks or more and that will never sell, because people undercut us, and then 20 other people undercut them. Eventually we have no choice but to just remove it and vendor it.
Please make all transmutation stones just be the same and work for any level item.
I do like to have form fitting female clothing, and would prefer it over bulkier clothing, but I disagree on wanting skimpy/revealing clothing.
My female asuras could sure use a bit more of a feminine body, but I don’t want to reveal midriff and cleavage on them. I mostly steered clear of playing a human or norn because much of their clothing is too revealing and I don’t want to be embarrassed by my outfit. If I do happen to have a skimpy outfit, such as the human female light starting armor with the mini skirt, I quickly alter the appearance of it before running around in it, luckily I have the HOM clothing to use for that purpose.
I think a “Preference” checkbox option would be a good idea, for each item of clothing, or for the individual character, perhaps have a box that has full coverage, medium coverage, or barely there coverage. This way everyone can have equally nice things, just with varying degrees of coverage.
The Secret World has a good way of storing clothing, you just select the clothing you want to wear from a dropdown, once you purchase the clothing, any items you have appear in said dropdown, you don’t need to worry about physically storing it anywhere.
For example for your shirt slot you have a list of shirts to select from. This would work for town clothing. Or for shoes, choose from your bunny slippers, sneakers, or boots, etc, all from a dropdown, no need to go get the item out of a bank or carry it around.
For Guild Wars 2, we should just need to get the item once, and if it is account bound have that accessible to any character on that account from a town clothing manager – this way we don’t need to get extra free hats for alts that junk up our space.

Same thing just happened to me in the mystic forge, put in 4 yellow quality items, they were random drops I acquired while adventuring that I had saved, got back nothing.
If we are going to get nothing back, we should not be able to hit the forge button.
