Guilds still have some major issues that they haven’t fixed and should have been one of the top priorities (being a game called Guild Wars). People unable to represent their guilds, upgrades disappearing, restrictions going back to default and sometimes guilds being deleted.
That’s people.
They will request things they LIKE from other games, and it’s cool, it’s needed, it will benefit the game.
When someone else request things they DON’T LIKE from other games, it’s a rip off, it’s not needed, it will harm the game.
Would you go to London and start shouting at every person you heard not speaking English??
(to each other, obviously if they needed to communicate to a shop assistant they would have to speak English -edit)No you wouldn’t.
If you wouldn’t do it in real life, why would you do it on a game server.
They do it because they’re safe behind their screens, that’s why people show their true selves on the interwebs.
No idea, sometimes I don’t understand why the lock threads or remove posts. I got one of my posts removed and I wasn’t allowed to post on that thread anymore, saying that my post wasn’t contributing to the topic. The topic basically was: “Zomg dis is da b3st gam3 3va, anyon3 who disagr33s is a hat3r!.” Nothing else, nothing constructive about it, wasn’t contributing at all other than causing problems, but I suppose that since it was pro-GW2 it was allowed to remain open.
Guild: Department Of Inquisition
Tag: [DoI]
Server: Sorrow’s Furnace
Ever since the last server crash, I can’t either stand down nor represent any guild.
I’ve been noticing some weird texture errors in some of the light and medium coats, and it seems that more of them keep appearing.
The following screenshots are of my current coat (Velvet Coat) with 2 weird holes.
I think so, I just got kicked out.
I hope we’re not getting another roll back…
I don’t think they’ve ever been banned. The same bots have been on my server for weeks in the same spot.

I don’t really understand why people compare mmos, or really, any online game to console game play time hours. It’s completely 2 different things.
How are they different?
I don’t like the targeting either. On my engineer, sometimes I have a target but my character keeps aiming at some other mob, sometimes causing me to pull more mobs by accident because it’s not attacking what I have targetted.
I just entered the Bandithaunt Caverns and fps dropped to 5. The first time this happened, I thought it was because my laptop wasn’t good enough to run this game. It wasn’t until a couple of minutes ago when people were complaining about it. The problem seems to be that the bombs that sparkle keep spawning over and over on top of each other. Tons of bombs everywhere with the sparkly effect are killing our fps.
Please, fix them.
Nope, because everybody does it.
I just zoned into Bloodtide Coast and I’ve noticed healing turrets everywhere. Some of them forming a trail leading to Momoztly Grounds, some of them just stacked on top of each other.
Did people find a way to exploit the healing turrets?
No, you can’t apply those skins to any character of any class. The skins strictly state what kind of characters can use them, for example:
Krytan Armor Skin
A full set of medium armor skins in a classic style.. This set can only be equipped by characters that wear medium armor and has no stats of its own.
The gear on SPvP it’s different, yes, but if you remove the restrictions it will bring the same problem, and at the same time, if they were to limit the restrictions only to SPvP, it will bring another problem. One way or another, people will cry about it. Some PvPers are so bad that they use these kind of things as excuses for such poor skills.
Personally, I’ve always wanted to mix different types of clothing in other games, but there are so many bad PvPers against it that it just never becomes true.
It was ANet’s secret service.
Probably because PvPers will flood the world with tears.
I’m wearing 2 pistols. Basically, they clip through like 90% of the medium coats. In some cases, you can’t even see them at all.
I personally love the revive system.
Not only can anyone revive downed or dead players, but the minimap also tells us if somebody nearby needs help. I always rush to help downed or dead players, although most of the time, they teleport to the waypoint after dying.
Lv50 Guardian fighting half a dozen mobs 6 levels higher than me. Feels nice
The fact that you feel the need to make a post like this just points out in neon lights that there is a huge problem.
Actually I REALLY want people to enjoy this game, but I guess that is a problem.
Why do you care if other people enjoy it or not? Do you need other people to enjoy it in order for you to enjoy it too? If peeople start leaving, will it make the game less enjoyable to you?
Yes please, allow us to toggle the effect. I look stupid running with a two handed sword with the aegis effect floating.
There has to be a penalty in WvWvW, after all, you earn exp, money and karma by doing it.
This is my first post, Orgazmo. It’s not a spam.
Actually, you have 3 threads with the same content.
Yes please, I liked capes in GW1. There will be clipping issues of course but… don’t we have them already? Pistols clip through the long coats, sometimes shoulders clips through the coats too. I think we can survive clipping capes.
The armor looks like Vigil + Tier 2 Cultural Human shoulders.
Frustrated with how easy it is for players to train mobs on other players.

Yesterday, I was running to the Chantry of Secrets. Just on the entrance, I saw a low level player trying to to the skill point challenge and he was about to die. I decided to jump in and help him, then he ran away, grabbed mobs around the place and brought them to me. So I was fighting the Order Agent and like 4 lizards. I just turned around and walked to the chantry as they were doing little damage to me. The monsters turned around and killed him.
I smiled.
Risen… Krait… Risen Krait.
Down again, right when Shatterer was around 15% health with like 10 people fighting it.
You can hang out in the tavern, talking about the old days in dungeons until someone goes like “Man, shut up already with that!” then you start a fight… with words. :P
A lot of people don’t revive others during DE’s and boss fights because they risk losing Gold, and sometimes, even getting anything at all. Why don’t we get contribution points for reviving someone that is fighting the boss? Sometimes someone is standing next to you but won’t revive you or his rewards may be affected. :/
I’d prefer a way to dye my shield.
I think they should add more sets that can be obtained for karma or maybe add something like DE tokens. Right now, afaik, there’s only 1 Lv80 set that you can buy for Karma in the Ruins of Orr. Not just that, but the area also gets contested and will require tons of players to clear the DE if you wish to buy a piece.
ANet, give us different Lv80 Karma sets that we can buy.
Also, the game wasn’t broken, neither was (or is for that matter) our mentality.
So they fixed… what? exactly?
You said yourself, you like the challenge and don’t care about the rewards. WE DO.
You refer to liking the challenge of a dungeon NO ONE is complaining about.
Does us getting rewarded hurt you in any way? would you getting additionally awarded hurt you?If our suggestions: fix bugs & improve rewards to match new difficulty; don’t hurt you, then clearly it is your mentality that is broken.
Let’s say your a calc teacher. The gov’t decides everyone who can solve blah blah super complex calc equation can have 1000 dollars. You’d complain that you’d be getting money?
We’re saying “hey this kittens hard; it’s worth that 1000 dollars” and your saying but I love math sooo much I don’t need a reward and so you shouldn’t have one either.
Somehow, I think they DO get hurt when others get the loot that they want in a faster way. Who knows why, but it is true.
Take a look at MMOs in general; When a new mmo is launched and someone hits max level within a few days, some people hate that person. He hasn’t done anything, but they hate him, “what a lifeless moron rofl”, when in reality, they’re just upset that someone did much faster what they’re currently struggling to do.
Around day 5 after the official release, I saw this on Queensdale’s map chat:
Player 1: Man, it feels like forever to level up, I’m just 14.
Player 1: Are there level 80’s already?
Player 2: Yeah, quite a few.
Player 1: OMG seriously, kittensick people living in their mother’s basement. I have a life thank you.
Somehow, he got hurt because there were level 80’s while he was having problems to level up and went on with his hate speech.
Now in another MMO I used to play, new PvP content was released. After 4 days, someone had reached the max PvP level and obtained all the new gear, he went to the forums and posted this:
“Hello, I’m one of the very few that already have hit max pvp level and gotten all the gear. That being said, it was really easy to do. I’m not asking for a rollback, I’m asking the devs yo nerf the experience so it takes other people more time than us because it wasn’t really a challenge.”
He basically got what he needed then wanted everything nerfed so others would struggle. It’s happening here too. One of my former guildies farmed CoF for days and got his whole set. Once the patch came up, he said “I hope they fixed CoF so people have problems getting the set now, thankfully I got mine LOL”.
Everything feels like this:
If I can’t, then others shouldn’t.
If I already did it, it should be much harder for others.
So Maggs behavior isnt bugged but intended, and so is the gate event? (CoF)

@Stukov: Its not about money or experience in any way. Its about the dungeon not being completable anymore (Path 2 atleast)
If you read my post – this is about Magg not working AT ALL. He will bugg out almost every time. In addition to the gateroom now being completely impossible.
That’s what I meant. They didn’t test the patch because all they really cared about was a quick way to stop speed runs and worry about the bugs later. That’s why there are threads popping up about broken dungeons after the patch.

People were spending less real money tu buy gems because they could just get gold doing speed runs, so they removed them. Working as intended.
Instead, they should take a look at low level areas with events that have been broken since launch. It’s really bad when a player is just starting to play and he sees broken things from the very beginning.
Lucky friend.
I finished and got 80 copper.
What? The higher level you are the more gold you get, he was around 70 when he did it. Im assuming the reward on level 80 is 6-7 silver tops, which again would not cover the cost for repairs if you die three or more times…
At level 80 you get 1s 80c.
I heard mention somewhere of a 1 minute CoF run. That I would consider an exploit.
It was a typo, I think he meant 10 mins.
Clearing a dungeon is an exploit now? What?
Now we have the ANet Defense League.
Maybe buying items with money that wasn’t obtained by turning gems into gold will be considered an exploit in the future.

“There were certain things that could be done (and were being done) in both CM and CoF that were not intended to be possible (read: exploits), we fixed them. End of story!”End of story? … – .-
I haven’t done CoF yet so I can’t talk about it. But what was being done in CM SM that was wrong? I did it for the first time yesterday, twice. I doubt we did anything that wasn’t intended. We didn’t skip trash mobs nor went through walls or anything like that.
Honestly, I think the real reason was to remove a way to make money.
So… another way for people to make money was removed? Not surprising at all. The next new thing to make money will be nerfed too.
I understand that they increased the difficulty on CM, but I don’t understand why they nerfed the rewards so much, Less than 2s and 10k exp at lv80? It’s faster to do DE’s in Ruins of Orr.
If you already joined the Priory (Got the introduction cutscene) then no, you can’t get the Vigil gear anymore.
The bridge at Kessex Hills always has bots there. I reported an engineer bot yesterday, it seemed that it was programmed to spam skills 6-9 which had turret skills. When most of the people left and only 2 bots remained, I let them get attacked by the centaurs. The engineer bot got knocked down and died and remained there until I revived him. As soon as he was alive, he placed turrets right where he was standing even though there were no mobs nearby and stayed there.
This morning I spotted a guild of bots on Shorebluff Camp in Harathi Hinterlands. A guild called Playnice in Gates of Madness US. There were 4 bots in that camp just standing at the entrance, waiting for the DE that requires players to defend the camp. If there were no players around, they would die and remain dead until someone revived them.
Even though I told the players that they were bots, they kept helping them when they went down instead of letting them die.
They need to adjust the rewards of the high level DEs. Why should we bother doing a Lv80 DE that is not only much harder, but with the lack of people it takes more time to finish and the rewards are just like 30 copper and 200 karma more than one in the starting areas?

I just want my female Norn to not sound like a man.
This was the reason I rerolled. I got so annoyed by my female Norn sounding like a man whenever I got knocked down that I just made a human.
