Nice video! I’ve made my own similar build. I usually roll condi engi but use HGH/Zerk when I need a break from conditions.

Tons of stuff changed. Most classes have had their annoying bugs fixed, WvW has had a bunch of QoL updates, a new armor tier has been added, and plenty of content has been added in the past year or so (along with existing content being, for the most part, bug free). Given the fact that Condition Damage has many downsides (low damage on crucial environmental objects like the Graveling mounds, condition stack cap on world bosses/guild event bosses/anything with lots of people) and flat damage does not, I’d say if anything condition damage needs to be fixed if anything.

Meaning it’s based off of your power.

“The lightning strike has a 1.1 damage coefficient.” means for every 1 power you have, the damage of the lighting strike increases by 1.1

For example, if you had 100 Power, the Lighting Strike would deal 955(+110) damage.

If you want to figure out exactly how much damage you’d do, the equation would be 955 + (1.1 x [Your Total Power]) ÷ Target’s Armor

There could still very well be another dungeon (or something else epic) at the end of this event, this was only act one of the update. I have my hopes very high for the end of the month.

You use the skin on an item, you can’t use it on another item.

Correct, however if you want to change the stats to a different item and keep the skin, you can always use a Transmutation Stone. The One Time Use only means you won’t have to use a Trans Stone the first time you want to apply it to an item.

The funny thing about all the people whining about RNG is that they fail to understand, this event has only been out for a single day, if you didn’t get your weapon skins yet you still have almost an entire month to get them. The problem isn’t RNG, the problem is impatience.

Furthermore, who said you were entitled to these skins? Anet made them because they wanted something for you to go for, they even made it easier then ever with the Dragon Coffers dropping from every mob in the world.

This is not a white-knight hardcore ArenaNet defense fan thread, this is a reminder that the event has been out but a day. And that if you didn’t get “your” skin in the first 24 hours of its release, then you still have a whole month to go. This event was made for us to get back into the game, so go out there and explore. Level an alt in the Krytan areas, farm CoF (if that is your heart’s content), make a goal (if you don’t have 100% map completion) to finish the Shiverpeaks because whatever you decide to do, your chance for skin attainment only increases.

I am around 40 crab grabs away from the grabber achievement, but it seems as though they have shut it down as I get this (attached) message every time I try to connect. I was just in a Crab Grab match 10 minutes ago. Any ideas? I could get it done in time but it looks grim at this point.

If you’re going for a Legendary, yeah a little farming is needed.

Back on topic, they have been stealth nerfing a lot of farming spots lately, as if to prolong the Legendary process. It’s been getting a little out of hand lately, but the community has responded, and they continue to do it. Not much we can do to persuade them otherwise obviously.

My engineer was happy when he used a strange currency to buy some Southsun Supple crates.
