I love this game. I have been here from the beginning and need some help from the devs. I play on a T1 server (Black Gate) and exclusively WvW when I login. The issue I face is that when I get home, login, there are hours of queues to get into the borderlands or EB where fighting takes place.

I know that new overflow maps are coming, but I really wanted to get this meta ache done (since our server will rein number one after the season).

I find myself loggin in, seeing the que and just logging out again. I havent play GW2s in a month for more then a few mins because of this.

Anet, I love this game and love supporting it, but I don’t think I’m alone in this.

LOL. Yea let the bots sit there while I kill them. J Season, there are tons of people who don’t roam in zergs and like small scale fights. People will roam around the points and work together when they are online.

The stat boost, while controversial, is there to give the buff meaning in the context of the general WvW battle. Providing boosts like %WXP, etc. don’t have impact in fights against other sides, they are just a nice bonus for you. The stat boost and the points for finishing players mean that not only do you want to have the buff, but you don’t want your opponents to have it.

But people dont care for things like this! People care for FUN fights, these must be equal or close to it, those that every move make a difference in the out come not some silly extra stats due to more coverage on another map

If you want to GvG, go to a customer arena and do it..? WvW was never intended for guilds to find a spot and GvG. Sure its fine, and personally I don’t care but when new mechanics are introduced to WvWvW that impacts your GvG…. don’t post 1000 forum threads about new buffs etc.

How about ask Anet for some sort of dedicated GvG arena….. like sPvP ??

Ya, make the bloodlust buff give us a bonus to magic find. :P

It’s funny. WvWvW has been the same for an entire year except for some new abilities. The same mechanics for the most part are the same. It got old after 3-4 months and TONS of players left the game completely. The forums here are riddled with people who don’t want any sort of change….. let’s face it… you won’t quit because of the following:

1. GW2 is hands down one of the best PVP/WvW games on the market right now. No other game offers this sort of combat/performance and balance.(sure it has its issues but every game does..)
2. It’s free.

You will not see massive xsfers to servers… do you want to know why? cus its expensive. You may see a one Xsfer by some guilds, but that won’t last. It’s just too much gold/gems.

The League will eventually get to the point the game is already at.. the top servers on top fighting one another and the rest followed suit.

You people need to deal with the change or quit. But we all know your not quitting.

You guys realize that as long as smaller scale combat is happening within the new borderlands areas, its not like 1 server will have 3 buffs for any length of time. Any if the zergs all focus on maintaining the buffs, that takes away from people cap the towers / keeps etc.

I think the buffs are a great idea and promote small scale combat for people who don’t like to zerg.

If server A has the buff, server B or C can take a group and take that buff back.

I see it that servers will try to maintain the buff on their home borderlands first and then attempt at the other BLs.

I also see Anet changing it if it gets out of hand also.

Your ideas are great also, and maybe they will take some of those into consideration.

Yes the borderlands are getting new terran added in the water areas. If you head over to the guildwars 2 offical twitch channel, you can see the developers showing you the new maps. It looks really great.

The living world events actually bring people into the PvE zones to participate in something new. This takes the default zone and turns it into new. Sure its scattered events but none the less its brings people together.

A lot of trolls that post topics like this will never be happy with anything game developers do. It takes a lot of work to put this into the game.

Why would we add this basic function? You can easily join WvW and get your fill of slaying the enemy players. /duel would just lead to inner-server stupidness.

I camped the JP on my Thief last night for a good few hours and had a blast! Actually.. it was 2 of us.. Good times.. Lots of deaths and lots of me dying

I just want to say that while there are issues in WvWvW, Anet has done a fantastic job at PvP and this game blows any other game on the market when it comes to player vs player. Hands down.

How about we give them some time to address the issues? They have already pumped out great PvE content in a matter of months and I can’t see them letting us down on the WvW front.

@ all the thief haters – learn to play… I have a thief/Mesmer/Guard/Elly and you can easily get away from thief if your not bad at the game…. There are the exceptions when said thief is good at his class.

I have a 80 Guardian, Theif, Mesmer and now Elly and I must say they all have fun aspect too them. the DD Elly build is SO much fun though! I recommend one.
