Who is the Choo Human Elementalist Commander? We keep seeing each other on the field and bowing/pointing/saluting and it’s pretty funny. They recognize me on sight, apparently, because they knew it was me even with no commander tag! Anyway, good fun to be had

The auto attack and Arcing Arrow will benefit much more Berserker stats. As you’ve said, you are not traited or geared for CD, why go for it? I personally tried it, and from experience, I can say that the Crits from Arcing Arrow will be much more devastating than the Burning from Fan of Fire and Combusting Shot.
If you want to do EVERYTHING, I just suggest to roll with Knight. It has power/precision for good effects from foods, traits and has good damage, and toughness to be a bit more sturdy. I use this armour for everything, but then again, PvP with a Warrior I rarely do because the current game does not allow for any effective Warrior PvP build.

You just need to figure out what’s best for you and stick with it.
There’s no kiting in sPvP unless it’s Graveyard… in WvWvW you’re going to usually be rolling with your team, not alone.
I don’t really see the problem since you do have ranged aoe disables and a leap.
Also, most of the damage will not be coming from you.

It pushes the ones behind you away. It’s kinda irrelevant anyway since 4 is a cone attack. You can actually do 4→f1→5→Stomp→Fear Me. Up to you, really

Warriors get a 3 second invulnerability on a 90 second cooldown (can still be CC’d, stunned, immobilized, crippled, knock backed, etc).
Mesmers get a 2 second super invulnerability (evasion status) on a 6 second cooldown.
That’s cool.
It’s on a trait vs a weapon skill and forces a Mesmer to be melee, plus it roots him in place too.
The Engineer too has a 4s invul + break stun and allows him to move. It’s what makes every class unique.
Still Knight’s. Beserker for ranged weapons.
Knight’s! Melandru would be a good choice of runes. Try looking into that!
1. Longbow builds faster adrenaline.
2. Longbow has AoE.
3. Longbow has a Combo Field.
4. Longbow looks, imo, better except for The Hunter and Predator.
If you’re not built for damage, definitely go Longbow.

And I don’t care what anyone says; our Longbow absolutely demolishes the Ranger Longbow. Ask any ranger — they’ll tell you straight up how it is.
Funny, with the patch today buffing our longbow projectile speed by 30% I’ll keep my ranger longbow over your piddly “shotgun” style longbow any day. Our ranger longbow is basically comparable to the warrior rifle now, only with an aoe that covers an entire node and practically insta-casts if you petswap for quickness right beforehand.
All longbow projectiles got buffed. Even the Warriors.
I opt for Emerald Accessories but with Ruby Jewels.
In my opinion, you should always be sporting Knight’s if you are a Warrior, unless you are built ranged.
90 Power, 150 Precision (7% Crit Chance) , 90 Toughness
vs
150 Power, 90 Precision (4% Crit Chance), 18% Critical Damage
18% Critical Damage and 60 Power for a measly 3% Crit Chance and 90 Toughness is definitely a good trade.

In all honesty though, the only area that I see the Warrior is lacking in is ranged aoe and fancy tricks.
I used to run Sword/Shield + Hammer. The concept basically was to leap in with the Sword, swap in with Hammer (Hydromancy Sigil – 3s Chill to everyone around you) do Earthshaker → Staggering Blow → Hammer Shock then swap back to your Sword/Shield and get out.
It’s pretty tanky and offers a lot of Crowd Control. I do suggest bringing in Balanced Stance and/or Endure Pain along with 30 in Defense just to make sure you stay alive as long as possible. Hope this helps!
You would never need an insta-refill on Adrenaline as long as you manage it well. 8 seconds for the next Killshot is plenty of time to build up 30 if you are traited for it.

The little leprechaun tells me that Blackgate was playing possum this week to allow people to grow over confident, allow ego’s to inflate, let some chest thumping happen, and thus expose weakness. Now that we’ve let it go to our head, Blackgate’s waking up and eating folk for lunch. From 15k spread to 3.2K and 2.5 days remaining. Well played Blackgate well played.

Honestly I’m going to miss you guys if you go up or down a tier. Blackgate has been one of my favorite opponents so far. I know when I step on that battlefield it’s not going to be easy mode, we’ll have lots of fighting and by the end of the night my keyboard will need a cigarette from all the action it just got.

Gaiscioch is REALLY tough… The boys and I know when we see you all in WvW that we’re in for a looong fight. I also would just like to say that it’s a privilege to go up against a guild that had an entire server named after one of its passing members. Really great to see you guys representing SoR and keeping the memory of Old Rall alive in a high WvW tier. You have ICoa’s respect and we are definitely looking forward to seeing you more active on the forums & especially on the battlefield
