Please fix it! Thanks!
In my experience, if you are the last person to cross the finish line, you will not receive your personal reward until either another person crosses the finish line after you, or your guild receives credit for the completed race.
This may have something to do with a change I noticed with the shared slots. The shared inventory slots are taking up their own row now. Before the patch I had a nice 11 slot by 15 slot rectangle that included the shared slots and left no empty spaces. Now the 5 shared slots are on top in their own row which leaves 5 empty spaces at the bottom plus the 6 that are empty in the new shared slot row. I hate wasted screen space.
I’m not very happy about the new shared inventory slot behavior either, but that at least makes sense as a possible intended change. The scroll bar (which remains visible when it’s not needed) just seems like sloppy implementation, and should be corrected.

In the past, I have set my inventory window to a large size to avoid the display of the scroll bar. As of the May 17 patch, this is no longer possible. The scroll bar displays despite every inventory slot being visible.
Any updates on this issue?
I’m stunned. This is simply unacceptable. The new legendary weapons were sold as part of HoT. I will never spend another dime supporting ANet.
Please change it!
I was not affected by this bug initially, but after a game restart last night it started happening consistently.
I’m using the 32-bit client on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.
I typically close the game via [Esc] —> Exit to Desktop, or by using Alt+F4.

My guild is having this issue as well.
Very, very well said, OP.
Me and my guild have barely touched WvW since HoT, and you’ve expressed exactly why that is.
I failed to receive a Mastery Point for completing HoT Chapter 10: Strange Observations. I believe I may not have gotten one for Chapter 9: The Predator’s Path either, but I’m not 100% certain.

I’ve seldom encountered any truly offensive speech in chat on this game.
That said, I don’t believe for one second that ANet actually takes such speech seriously. I have encountered a few players in WvW and PvP who spewed extremely racist, homophobic, and/or threatening speech, unprovoked, day after day. I reported them repeatedly over a period of weeks. Nothing ever came of it. I rarely bother reporting such things at this point.
You guys know there’s a difference between Q&A (question and answer) and QA (quality assurance)… right?
Setting my presence status to Invisible just crashed my client >.<
Excellent idea. Alternately, you could add a menu to Hide/Unhide in Nearly Completed when you right-click various achievements.
I agree with what others have said in this thread. Log-in Rewards should be moved to the bottom of the Summary page, or be moved to its own, separate section.
Fixed as of the most recent build.
The white swords on objectives are seemingly tied directly to defense events in WvW. It would appear that along with the graphics, the defense events themselves have been disabled. This makes it impossible to complete WvW defense dailies, as well as advance any other permanent objective defense achievements. Please fix this oversight ASAP.
- You are often spawned in the enemy base on the Legacy of the Foefire map.
- You get the autobalance volunteer button even if you are on the team that is currently outnumbered. You stay on the same team, but do get autobalance volunteer bonus points at the end of the match if you click it.

As the title states, you can’t stomp enemies in WvW or PvP while holding down the right mouse button. This is pretty much a game-breaking bug when it comes to these competitive game modes, where split seconds matter. Yes, you can release the button and then stomp, but that slows you down. I haven’t tested to see if this applies to all interactions or just stomps, but either way, please fix this ASAP.
Some classes (most notably ele, mesmer, thief and engi) are nearly unplayable until you’ve gotten at least a couple of trait points. They certainly aren’t fun early on. I’d wager you risk losing more people because of that than people being overwhelmed.
And honestly, I never once heard anyone with questions or complaints about traits under the old system. I’ve had a number of friends and guild members ask me questions about the new system, however, and half the time I can’t answer them without referring to the wiki (and I’m a veteran player!).
In my opinion, a much more sensible trait progression system would start dispensing trait points at a rate of 1 every 5 levels, beginning at level 15. Adept traits would unlock at level 20, Master at level 40, and GrandMaster at level 60.
I believe it’s important that GrandMaster traits in particular be unlocked BEFORE level 80. They’re potent, and some almost completely change how a class plays. I don’t think it’s fair that a fresh level 80 player has no opportunity to experiment with some of these before hitting cap, and the expectation from other level 80 players is that they know what they’re doing.
In at attempt to make systems more accessible, you’ve actually done quite the opposite in the case of traits. Traits aren’t scary or confusing. Or at least they weren’t…
Good to see an MMO company respond to player feedback in a sensible way. I’ve played some other games where that didn’t happen. It’s nice not to be ignored.
300g for an account-wide commander tag is reasonable, I believe. However, any functionality added to the base commander tag should be a FREE quality of life improvement.
Also, additional colors/shapes are great, but more than anything, I really hope this patch will include the oft-requested guild-only visible tag.
Minor bug or not, you’d expect a cash shop convenience item to be… well… convenient. This is sloppy placement for sure.
Anyone catch what build Denshee was running during ToL?
Well I dont instantly die, I can take like 6 hits of the laser. Maybe invest in some defense? But it is annoying for the no more tricks achievement.
Damage builds are typically the way to go for these sort of events. I could run a defensive build, but I shouldn’t have to simply to survive a load-in. Also, it seems like you can take damage before you’re fully loaded in on the client side.
And as far as the achievement goes, it’s still a fail, dead or no.
So you defeat the three Assault Knights (which now give no loot, even if you’re in a power or crit build, alive for the entire fight , and do nothing but DPS), and you make your way onto the Breachmaker… and blamo. Insta-dead.
Why would you design the fight so that one of the paths the laser fires along is directly at the entrance, and you have no way of avoiding it as you’re loading in? Seems like getting the “No More Tricks, Scarlet” achievement is more about luck, and less about skill.
Oh, and don’t even think about trying to revive any downed players. There’s no way you’ll be able to break out of the rez in time if a laser aims in your direction.
And don’t mind all those people hiding in the corner. They’re just trying to leech credit for an achievement or two. I mean, this safe spot over to the side was included just this purpose, or it wouldn’t be there, right?
This LW update has included more random chance, and has done more to encourage selfish play than any other that I can recall. Wake me up when it’s over.

Still no fix for this in today’s LW update…
@Haker: I believe I had a similar issue to what you’re experiencing several months ago. After trying everything suggested by support (repairing the client, updating drivers, etc.), I finally just completely re-installed the game client and that fixed the issue for me. I know that’s a bit extreme, especially if you have a slow connection, but you may wish to try it if other solutions don’t work for you or if you get impatient with support.
I’ve been experiencing graphical glitches in WvW on and off since EotM launched. Here are some examples of what I’m talking about.

When asked, my guild-mates and friends said that they view these same glitches, so I don’t believe it’s an issue with my PC/configuration, but rather the game itself.

Anyway, seems to be working again for me. Anyone else still having issues?
Nope! Everything seems normal now.
Lion’s Arch on Dragonbrand has extreme lag. Load times are 5-10 times longer than normal. Chat messages take 10+ seconds to appear. Same with NPC interactions and mystic forge use. Is this a problem on other servers as well, or just a Dragonbrand issue?
Update: The issue seems to be resolved now.

Is the DB train eternal that mindless?
When we defended SM against an army of Dragonwagons they just charged in leaving all their omegas undefended. I counted killing over 7 omegas and a metric kitten ton of DB.TFV and NNK left them for u after they took the whole EBG map. You are more than welcome
Teach me the way of the early morning PvD
Ain’t this what u r now doing
6 hrs ago it was our Sunday afternoon and your Saturday evening.
We had some good fights against the squishy Zerg on Demand[ZoD]
That’s when the whole map turned blue
I’m pretty sure you guys have excellent skills it’s just the gear problem
Please make sure everyone of u equip with exotic gear because all i get from your bags are just greens and blues
And I’m sure better gear should make you guys PvD more efficient while we are asleep
It makes me feel very sorry everyday i wake up next morning we are still ahead of u in pointsYou are chest thumping about outnumbering massively during Oceanic peak hours? Most of the players that are on are unorganized uplevels. Also, I saw you possibly (TFV engineer) in Eternal Battlegrounds yesterday. You had 10 times our numbers and we were trying to defend a tower and all you did was set up a Superior AC outside our tower and destroyed all our defensive siege through the gate. This type of non sense is the norm for Dragonbrand though. NNK and TFV outnumber the enemy massively and still use Arrow Cart hacks to make things even easier to PvD.
Pot, meet kettle.
Yes, everyone else is having this issue. You observe a random PvP match instead of participating in the daily activity when speaking to the activity NPC. Lots of talk about it in LA map chat.
