Anet should really implement countermeasures against that skipping plague.
theres enough stuff they could do to end this plague.
its just annoying for “new” players or those who enjoy clearing dungeons completely, fully exploring them asf.

hell they even start skipping storymode dungeons…because THEY CAN.

same reason over and over again:
“skip this”
“Y”
“time efficieny”
then same story over and over again:
first one dies on mobs running behind the leading skip/rusher
second one…
and so on.
end of story: time efficiency -100%

if u ask y they skip the boss xy, u almost always end up being told that they NEVER EVER tried to manage him, they just HEARD its hard and EVRYONE is skipping…
people who were running 100 times Ascalons never even heard of special chest after kholer, never figured out burrows tactics and so on…

i t is a painintheass to find proper people taking their time and have fun doing the ONE AND ONLY maximum efficient runs:
clear evrything, get most money out of it, most exp (in points AND knowledge) and most loot in the shortest time possible. oh and most fun for my part
(we managed to clear the “so-called” harder paths of some dungeons even with 4 newbs with subpar equip so noone tell me its too hard)

THATS EFFICIENCY FOLKS.

and dont forget to equip toughness and vitality and use some more skills than the one who make damage…

so please Anet do something to EDUCATE people to play the way it is meant to be done.

it’s not a big deal. think about swtor and how quick they got a lfg tool in. yet it still sucked cause it wasnt cross server. at least we have that in place. using a website isnt that much of a pain. most already use one for dragontimers. big deal

Is there some website or program that I can use to try out diff gear combos and see what the final numbers to crit,armor, health, etc. would be? Like ac gear vs cof for example.

Goes to show most wow people have no skill if things are not “a set rotation” and w/o their little add ons to tell them “hey boss is bout to hurt you!” while gw2 endgame isn’t the best it does require more paying attention than other mmos.

I have several 80’s that are geared and I mainly like to run dungeons. Usually around 10pmish central time. What I need is a solid guild of great people because the guild I’m currently in seem to be of the elitish time who spend more time insulting people than helping them learn. Even seen them kick a fellow guildie from their group! Looking to run all and any dungeons and I’ve never done FOTM before and really want to find a group of peeps to get into it with. I’m a slightly older gamer so maturity is not a prob. Msg me in game or here. Fine either way. Thank you

Honestly, I have 4 80’s and all of them will bore you when lvling. It’s so slow going it just can’t be helped. I would grind out to lvl 60 and then level 2 crafts and shoot to 80. Then start the new 80 gear grind. lol

It’s tedious and boring but I run ac 1,2, and 3 everynight and make 3-5g depending on drops. I’d say save your gold and keep making it and hope for a posivtive change to these prices. Plus you can always use the tokens to get exotic’s and try your luck in the MF that way.

If Anet would ban anyone who exploit a glitch they would have a lot to do and lose players aswell.

They would lose exploiters, not players… And good riddance, I say. If ArenaNet were that afraid of losing exploiters, they wouldn’t have permanently banned the snowflake exploiters.

I was trying it yesterday and was only getting 1 stack of might, not 3. And yes in combat so not sure whats up.

It doesn’t matter what feels right or doesn’t feel right to you. Your feelings don’t matter to anybody who took their time to craft a legendary. If they took the time out of their lives to craft it they should do whatever they feel fit to do with it also!

The Ghastly Longbow/Shortbow had a bugged animation during the night. Unlike other Ascalonian Catacombs weapons, which glow during the night, the bows glow just when you equip it and the glow fades away right after shooting the first arrow, although the bow retains it’s blue colour.

it all depends on what build you’re using. if you’re using knight’s gear, i believe you should have something around 30% crit. if you’re going full zerker, it’s easily 50-60% crit. if you’re using full soldier (power/vit/toughness), you should have 0% crit.

you can factor in the fury + swiftness boon from your arcana trait line… that’s another 20% for 3 seconds after attunement swap.

that being said… crit chance isn’t a major factors for eles to consider. it’s more of a niche more suited for glass cannon warriors and thieves. instead, you should be asking yourself how much power, toughness, and vitality you have.

What’s up with all this false info being spread around forums.

Plain and simple crit is important, for any class. Most MMOs put a soft-hard cap of 45%-50% for critical because of how useful it can be. I try to shoot for around that. It’s easy with D/D Aura/Might stack Ele because you have dam near perma fury. Also you need is a warr or something in the party and you are good to go.

If you are not pushing crit, you are 1) losing a lot of damage, 2) losing a lot of procs on sigils, 3) losing a lot of procs from beneficial boons you could have up which can 4) potentially make you lose even more damage if you are 25 into water, 5) do I need to say more?

PS: Try running a perma-vigor set up with crit. You can thank me later.

anyway you can post your traits and gear set up? at 19% i def dont feel like i’m hitting like I should. Surviving just fine though, so might go for more crit/crit dmg instead of cd. My healing is almost 800 thinking bout bringing it down to 650-700ish too
