Bearbow here- Party couldn’t do oozes so I soloed one side . Party wiped at bosses over and over, each time myself being the one alive trying to res and being told “STOP RESSING, WIPE” After 10 tries on file boss, I got sick of the party and soloed the thing.

Not all Bear + Bow = bad for rangers, but I do admit there are a lot who make the rest of us look bad.

Putting the top 3 in their own league or keeping it as it is- TC is screwed either way.

Own league: TC will get bored with the crud we see for fights and that’s no fun.
Not separated: TC is stomped my T1, and that’s no fun.

Well drat. =P

TC is in a sad place- we steam roll T2, and get stomped T1.
It’s no fun when the fights are so one sided either way. =/

Happened to me in all MMO`s ive played.Ppl spend money on the game(f2p or b2p – doesnt matter) and they get rewarded by the RNG.Hideous,but true.Whenever i buy some ingame currency,the RNG is always in my favor after (not forever).

Only ppl who pay IRL money know what im talkin bout.Its a game , yeah , but its also a living for the ppl who made and publish it.So dont be frustrated when they “promote” their best investors

Not true- I spend in the gem store (real money) and never get good drops or anything in the forge. Salvaged ectos suck, and still no precursor to show for my time. They don’t base that crap on money spent, and you’re just spouting conspiracy theories.

TC seems good. we win about 50% of the time.

I’m lv 35 fractals, but not a single skin. >.<
And that’s not all I’ve done is 35 runs, I just kept farming around there as I had no want to go higher.

Really, this boss is bullkitten. No AOE or you aggro hundreds of spiders so mesmer clones/phantoms are out. They spiders have WAY to much health adn do some pretty hard hits when there are tonnes of them… the other bosses are fine this one is bullkitten.

Yup, I loved this in fractals but now there will be very little use for it.

Can’t revive defeated allies? wasn’t that the whole kitten point in dungeons, especially during boss battles? The Downed window is so short in some cases that the skill has almost no time to be utilized, so the defeated res was the real help.

Well, guess I won’t be running this as much if at all in fractals/dungeons.

I honestly think something like this is fine, as people are able to commission drawings / costumes of pokemon and they aren’t owned by the individuals. I think it falls under fanart of sorts.

Agreed with the guild attitude. I do everything with them, and love it.

Currently, the cost to buy it would equate to 55k+ uses needed to be worth the invesment. This means that buying the 800 gems in gold would be like buying 550 Ori picks, and at 3 clicks per node that’s 18k nodes farmed.

Not worth it unless you allow us to swap between characters, and assurance that when / if you add a new tier of mining in expansions that this pick will be upgraded to work with them as well.

Still, the price is a bit insane for soulbound. You would have to use it over 50k times for it to equal the equivilant of orichalcum picks in gold.

Seriously, why do all three servers have to turn this into one giant kitten goading fest? Can’t we just play the freakin’ game and have fun with it, without complaining/arguing/baiting/trolling?

We need a way to destroy siege as well- Server was at Cap today and we could only wait and tell people to not refresh. maybe person who placed can also “destruct” the siege?
Despawn is fine and needed for server flow / anti-troll.

I finished all JPs on my own, so no clue wtf you’re on about. (wasn’t in exotics at the time either)

This is why I love my Guild- lots of people open for various dungeon runs, no bullkitten.

I did my first 10 fractals at lv 40-50, so it’s more then doable. try to have at least one lv80 with you that knows the route for help the first couple of times, then after that you should be golden in a full group. Just realize it will be a bit more of a challenge. =D

I play a lv80 ranger as my main, full exo and accended gear, and I agree that we are more burdens in a party then not. Running lv20+ fractals with her I can’t contribute the same as the other party members, even though I don’t die (or die last) and try to coordinate with what is needed.

Truth is, rangers need a full reworking to be viable.

I grew up with those commercials, so this just made me feel all tingly and giggly inside. =D

I really don’t want to abandon my ranger- but after playing PvP for the first time ever today I now see just how crappy we are. I have almost maxed out my rangers gear (was working on legenday, lv20+ fracs, 400+ hours on her) but now I think it’s time to shelf her and move on.

Ranges need a LOT of work.

How about you and the rest of those NOT in north america stay out of the NA servers? This sort of mercenary crap is what breaks WvW.
Why are you leaving your server? Because you can’t win any more? fair weather friends are worthless- just stay with the server you’re on and deal with it. =/

It’s a bit discouraging knowing that every dye you find can only be used on one of your characters and doesn’t carry over for your whole account. If I spend a tonne of time finding and collecting dyes, why can’t I use them on all of my characters?

Dyes should be account wide once unlocked, not character independent.

Expanding on what you said Solid Gold:
“The pet is the ranger’s curse” When it should be their BOON. =/

I play a ranger as my main, and sadly I have to agree that most of the time rangers are not optimal for dungeons. Lets take Arah farming for example (I do a lot with our guild)
I can temp. stow my pet, but if even one attack hits me he comes out and agroes more.
I survive more better then most of my party members ankittenhe last one to go down normally, but once down my “lick wounds” only works 50% of the time making it a wasted cause unless fixed. Same with “search and rescue” to support the party.
My DPS is split, so I can only do half of my damage if an AOE eats my pet.
(DPS issue as well with Agony as my pet has no resistance)
My Support skills are lack luster and do little to help the party in comparison to other classes.

TL;DR version
Issue one: No perm. pet stashing
Issue two: Lick wounds / search and rescue only works 50% of time
Issue three: Dependant on pets that die easilly to agony and AoE
Issue four: Skillset is subpar for party support in comparison to other classes.

I love my ranger, she is my favorite character hands down for now- but I know she is a weakness in any optimal party for fractals/dungeons.
