I’m gdam mad. Just spent the afternoon playing pvp matches ag. 1-2 necros per match. I work my way thru to a division change and I go up against 4 gkitten ecros with minion masters. U do the gdam math. You know the necro is overpowered this season. There has been enuf noise on the forums about it and then u let them group up. Downright horrible. Sorry to complain but this really deserves it.
I tried what Joker has suggested right above me here. I went to windows mode instead of full screen. It does help a lot, cant tell if It removes it completely. Better on the eye strain though. Tks
I bought the outfit today and I think it is one the best I’ve seen in GW2. I wore it into PVP and couldn’t understand why I was melting so fast. I usually almost never go down. Just though I was having a bad day. Went to do a Guild Raid and I was struggling to stay alive at the Vale Guardian. I clicked off the Outfit button and lo and behold I had no problem the rest of the Raid. Can you please check that the outfit doesn’t effect my stats or armor in any negative way?

I have done this 50 times, must be doing something wrong. I push the controller off the pad, I get on the pad and hit skill1, I kill zero wolves. IS there something else I should be doing. The dulfy video didn’t say much more. Tks for any help

Hi, 1 of the items used to make the staff is a Charged Oiled Ancient Staff head made from an Oiled Ancient Staff Head charged at a place of power in Magus Falls. I try to charge the staff head at a place of power in Auric Basin and it just tells me Ive communed all I can at the mastery point. Any help would be appreciated. Tks

I’ve spent 4 full metas looking for this to drop. Now u did the fix so I have to spend another 2 plus hours looking for it. Ugh man, why not just award to those that completed it.
There is a thread in the bug section about the non drop in ds for the collection. Didn’t say when it would be fixed. Better to follow that thread. So don’t do the ds meta if your only doing it for the collection until its fixed.
I wouldn’t give up on your ele, just the way u play it. First off with the d/d you die to much in hot. Go back to Staff and change your build. If you go to youtube and check out the new video from wooden potatoes on a serious good roaming build for ele. Ive been using it and soloing veteran groups and 2 man killing champs with it.
My thinking is that they tried to be too clever in creating the tempest. Boons, auras, nice graphics but then playing in WVW there was almost zero difference in game play. Ele in WVW is about 99% used as a ranged damage and healing support player. Adding the tempest features did nothing to improve those basic capabilities and did nothing to make anyone change the way the ele is to be used. In roaming pve and some pvp the changes are nice and Ill use them but in WVW eh, no help and probably the ele takes a step back in usefulness as the other classes improvements will bring down an ele quicker.
The overcharge feature only helps in pve and some pvp. Ele’s cant stand in a mob in a wvw fight period. Their value is as a ranged support in healing and damage. Adding more boons auras etc does not help for what the Ele is being used for in the game. I played in wvw with the tempest and it was a" so what". If I used the water overcharge I died. If I used the earth overcharge I died etc. Running around as a solo roam in verdant was cool but did nothing for my wvw play. The rebound in a 10 second fight of two mobs and standing in 5-10 necro wells, the rebound was almost laughable. Waste of time to press the button. My guess is that the ele developer was not a wvw player, only answer it could be.

If you wanted to create an elite that worked for how the ele is being used almost full time, then the elite should have been a ranged elite up to the 1200 range and something immediate. For instance what about the elite having a freeze function so that u can be sure when u drop a meteor that the baddies will still be there.
Or better yet how about an immediate recharge on the ranged skills to make them more effective instead of being chased all over the map during the cool downs.
Finally I would have loved to have a retaliate feature for the the elite so that when the bobs chase you down u have some more protection.
For having the ele add more boons auras etc is a waste of time since the ele cannot be in a mob for these to have much effect and be able to stay alive more than 2 seconds of standing in 8 necro wells.
Hi guys. A few points. I tried playing the meta chain events after playing the story that was available. First I didn’t have a clue what to do and more importantly the meta chain events I were in had bugged and couldn’t be finished. I have seen this before with other releases you have had. Can you please put into the event chain a timer so that if the event bugs and hangs, rather than waiting a whole day to reset it and turning off the players, the event has an auto complete feature that allows the next event to start in a pre-determined time. Loved the art work but I had a problem with the edges of a lot of the plateaus etc. When I went to get near the edge before I fall off I couldn’t see it because of the huge amount of vegetation on the edges. By looking down the huge leaves, trees etc. covered me and the edge and ok I fell. Nooblet that I am. I also found a few rocky areas that when I fell down into them I couldn’t get out without waypointing. The mastering system may be nice but couldn’t play enough to see the rewards. So it wasn’t fun enough for me. Maybe if you also gave out the rewards for the beta we would have played with them and then realized what we had to do to get them on release. I hope the release notes give a good description of events and what to do within HOT etc.

Will there be a roll back to fix the numerous bugs with this patch? I hate to play the game with this many bugs only for it to be rolled back. Do I buy the skills again? Do I not?
With the golem week, there was no antidote to the golem rush. I would have liked to see a trap that created an empty hole that a golem fell into and crashed to zero. It would allow the towers to build up a defensive perimeter and kill off a number of the golems and give a fairer fight.
I would like to use the in game mail system to send mails to potential recruits for my guild. IS there a way to create an external doc and then have it copied into the mail I wish to send? A non techie talk answer would be appreciated as I’m not much for understanding tech talk. Thanks for any help.

[SG] Shadow Gypsies a 20 yr old Jade Quarry Guild on GW2 from day 1 is looking to firm up its wvw ranks. We require a strong game play and an active membership in wvw . We run nightly in the NA time zones and go from taking territory to pure havoc. Key is having fun while not being trolls. As a follow on. AT 10pm I got a message in game that my bl was ready after waiting an hr at no 1 in q. Immediately the message came back that I was back in at no 59. A complete cluster job that was. TY anet
Hi guys. Jumped on reset at exactly bl’s opened up, became 1 in q 9 pm. At 9 :50 still no 1 in q along with 75% of my guild. So whatever u have done recently, please undo it cause it obviously has created a bug or a loop in your code. TYVM
It seems that every ascended trinket needed for the lumi armor set became available a couple of weeks after the LS episode from the crest vendor. The coat trinket Caithe’s Remorse has not become available for the 1000 crests. Was this on purpose and will it becoming available in the future and when?
At reset my whole guild of 100 players tried to enter through he portals at Lions arch, Not 1 person got in , we couldn’t even get onto a q. Absolutely horrible. Finally started to get into q’s avg wait 120 min at best. Also those on q had dc’s so they had abt 220min q waits. In the future Id like to see a prerequisite number of hours in wvw before your allowed into a tournament. A slim hope the q clogging pvers wont be able to get in and ruin it for the daily wvw players. And after finally getting after 4 hours of crashes and q’s, anet pulls down wvw. Have a good night. cant get much worse.
I agree that jumping has become too big a part of the game. Its just another way of telling us its too difficult to create content w/o having to jump all around . As u know the very tall norns have a very hard time with most jumps that other races find easy. Also finding a mesmer to get around the problem is not an answer.
If I have to do fractals to get the dam ugly vine backpiece they can keep it. Makes no sense to force people to do them. They must give another way to get the miststones.
I like the norn warrior look of moon above me. Suits the character and race.
Unlike a Norn Ele that has to deal with light armor. So I went for a more interesting asthetic look that is part Mad Max and part Cher. She has 15k ach pts but spends most of her time in WVW JQ server.

Pls do not change diamond skin. It allows an ele to actually contribute to his team. Before the skin it was just necros filling an entire team dropping red circles in front of any entrance or fight. Now a necro has to actually think about how he can play rather than just pressing the same button over and over.
Long time full time Ele, (all gw1 and 2) and daily player. 15K ach pts and 550 wvw rank have played with top teams and always wins. Looking to stay with my current pvx guild but they are not wvw heavy, mainly pve. I am an opposing team killer with a personal build that allows me to stay alive and do damage and heal ag the biggest of zergs. Wish to stay in JQ as I know many of the teams already but will consider any guild where I can help make a difference. Starting to look now as I wish to get to know the team I may join before the season starts. Hate drama, don’t mind rules and not into listening to hormone driven teenagers talking about how high or drunk they get etc. NYC based in US

Looking for help, seems I cant get either ach to start in ebonhawk. Each time I try I get zero ach movement in the poster removal and book reading, I must be doing something wrong, Any ideas. Tks
Been trying for quite a while each patch, I take down posters or read the books and I get zero progress toward the ach. Don’t think im doing anything wrong but Im open to suggestion. Any help w/b appreciated.

I use diamond skin and it does help especially in the way that huge sor zergs run all necros and litter the ground with a hundred red circles. Since the damage cover stops at 90% I do have to worry about melee hits taking me below the threshold. It allows me to enter gates, towers, camps etc and be able to add value to team play rather than being melted in 2 secs by players who have no creativity in their builds.
Starting tonight when playing. I would click on a menu such as Achievement and it worked fine but when I go to a secondary menu such as daily the game freezes completely and I have to reboot. Happened 4 times in a row. So I figured to throw this to the forum for ideas. Seems to only happen on the daily pull down menu after trying other menus in the game. From the post below it may be a game bug rather than a need to download a new client. Any ideas?
I recently installed a new Microsoft sidewinder 4 gaming keybd. The kbd has macro keys on the side I hoped to use. The keybd works fine but am unable to set up or use the macro keys using the intellipro software it came with or the method of setting up the keys using the method of setting them up in game. Cant seem to find any help anywhere on Microsoft site. Anyone have any issues like this or use the macro keys?
Im looking to purchase a new keybd and mouse. I used up to death my HP factory issue kbd and my old guild wars1 mouse from razer on last legs. Any suggestions on a good gaming kbd that’s backlit, mid price, I can make macros and has a nice ability to manage keys. Mouse Id like to stay with a 2 button on the side mouse like the razer and stay with the ps/2 approach rather than usb and wireless. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Took a look at the gw2 steelseries kbd but it is no longer available.
Daily ele player lkg for mature guild in NA. I play between 8-12 est most nights. I play complete high damage glass or full team support heal with high survivability. Currently on Borliss but can move around for right team. Prefer strong team approach to game and am very competitive. I do jump out to pve to play the content when new but otherwise iso an organized guild approach. 7000 ach pts and rank 75 in wvw.
