There is already a Pre/Tough/Condi set as well as a Pow/Pre/Con set. Your class in your specific build might not use those stats but that doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t, so why change anything? You picked the wrong set, go get another.
Most of the people spouting ranger is “fine” and that they’ve had no problems so far is because they are still in the lvl 30 zones where the pet doesn’t die as soon as 2 things aggro. Not to mention never having played another class and have nothing to compare it to.
Congratulations, you managed to kill a veteran mob, that doesn’t make that class on par with the rest.
The blind anet defender’s do more harm to this game and class than the angry horde. At least with with unhappy people, Anet might take a look at the issues at hand. If they listened to the zealots who believe that Anet could do no wrong, nothing would ever change, balanced or not.
Ori ore locations will change every server reset, but will continue to respawn every 24h in the same location (when daily resets) until the next reset. This location information you have for particular nodes are good only for your server and only until next reset.
Its a legendary…. LEG EN DARY, it should take for ever to get one and not just handed to you like candy
Exactly, OP needs to put in some real time, effort and gold into this if he wants a legendary. Get out of here with your 300g+ in mats and get into the big leagues.

Someone who has not previewed and researched what legendaries looked like would not be able to tell half of these weapons are “legendary”. The whole concept (even mentioned in the Dev blog) is that when you see one you know that this weapons is without a doubt legendary. If I came across someone with meteorlogicus, frostfang or incinerator (side from footsteps) I honestly would not have even noticed if I didn’t know before hand what they all looked like from previews.
There’s a reason why the legendary “trailer” video by Anet showed Twilight, Sunrise, Bifrost, Juggernaut and Flameseeker. They are the only ones worthy of being called legendary.
The demand isn’t as high as some of the other but that doesn’t stop people from trying to sell it for 250-300g. 100-120g seems to be about the right price for it atm but the sellers are gouging/don’t want to forfeit the deposit.
Well… i am a pistol lover, still waiting to see Quip, however, it looks so ridiculous.
and i guess the effect will be even worse than Frostfang .
ATM, i guess is impossible for Anet to remake those Legendary, but only to add some more effect.

Just saw Quip in action on Stormbluff Isle, Shoots confetti, flowers AND rainbows. Makes a party popper sound when fired as well as a squeel noise like from a rubber ducky. Soft purple glow (might be from some other effect). No footsteps.
Personally, I love it and is my favorite of all the one-handers.
So what he’s saying is if anything is going to change from this point, it will probably be in the form of adding damage to short bow 2-4 abilities…except those abilities should be used situationally, to dodge/interrupt as a part of skilled play. Adding more damage to those abilities is just going to encourage faceroll 2-3-4-5 as soon as you engage for damage and does NOT promote skilled play.
Spamming 1 might not be what you call “fun” for all other professions/weapon kits but this is how short bow was designed; Damage from 1, utility from 2-5. If I wanted to play whack-a-mole with cooldowns, I would use pretty much any other weapon from any other profession.
For those of you who are saying 10-20% dps nerf is not that big of a deal, remember the entire reason they added a longer cast time was to sync animations and not balance. Short bows/Rangers got hit big for anyone who used them in competative PvP/WvW, no one cares about your damage karma farming or doing dungeons.
Bha…. Arena needs to change this. I want to start a legendary and i farmed a lot of things but how i can buy or made this precursor? -.- I need to buy gem with real money?
That’s exactly what they want though, for you to buy gems.
As for a sample, I got my 77 Clovers using 192 shards/coins/ectos. I used the 10x recipe till i got 70 clovers and the 1x recipe for the extra 7. Sorry I didn’t keep track of the number of times I did each of the 10x and 1x recipes.
That puts me at a total of 411,600 karma for clovers and a grand total of 928,200 karma for my legendary. (all grind is done, just waiting for a unbugged balth to finish)
What would be really evil is just keep DR the way it is, and have the boosters temporarily remove DR for the duration so that they become required for farm or grind. Anet if you want to sell gems get on this.
Would like to know as well, finished last bit of karma for last piece of legendary yesterday and have been looking for working karma vendor since. So close yet so far.
If you down from them, you can throw 2 rocks and get a quick rally. I have found the blossoms have saved me multiple times after an untimely knight knockdown.
I don’t think you need to swap servers to do dungeons with people. I’ve previously been grouped with players on a different server and was able to enter the dungeon with them.
Have the group use stability, dps the knights down as soon as possible. I believe you can root them as well. Once you kill one leave them room and rest will reset and wait for timers to go again.
Without a proper LFG channel or tool to use, I’m thinking the best way to find other players for explorables may be to form a public “guild” that people swap to whenever they are looking. May work because you can form dungeon groups across servers. Are there any dungeon explore guilds already around?
