I never said it was bad.
Note to Self: Lower your expectations next time…
This is seriously making me want to quit the game.
I’ve been playing actively since headstart and today’s fiasco with the Labyrinth chest was my treshold.
It’s not the first time this happens and I’m sure this won’t be the last. This really frustrates me, and when a game starts to do that, then it’s time for me to take a break and reevaluate certain things…
At least they patched it… but… too litle, too late. Anyway, I hope for this game’s sake, they start to learn from their mistaskes… and fast.
How could they make such a boring character as Trahearne be so important while we lose so many good characters like (Tybalt, Tonn... even Forgal). I hate that Saladman.

I wish the music was more on par with the scenery,
That’s something I noticed, the overall soundtrack is good, but it’s not that good. It’s a pity that this game’s music doesn’t share the same epicness of it’s scenery.
Speaking of weird abilities… WHAT are you standing on OP?
What do you mean? I’m standing on the water…
lol. I saw this Risen guy (at least, I think it’s a Risen) flying in Malchor’s Leap (Darkhaven). hmm…
Please don’t compare chests with irl lottery. It’s completely different scenarios.
Having said so, I think it shouldn’t be that difficult to get such skins. I respect that you think there’s nothing wrong with someone spending £100 and not getting said skins.. But that’s not most people point of view and they have the right to complain, without being called 3 yo.
Anyway, I bet next holliday most people won’t be spending that much money (or even won’t be spending money at all).
While a certain Dev’s favorite class, that has the highest base HP, tied for highest base armor, and highest melee and ranged damage gets buffs.
I’m sort of lost.Which class is that?
I think he’s talking about Warriors. lol, warriors are getting a bit worried because you see less and less of them in tPvP, unlike the thief. Thieves are able to deal way more bursting dmg, and warriors ranged weapons are only effective if they are playing glass canon, aka noob player.
I have a hammer warrior and a condition thief and you should try to play as a warrior before talking about them.
About the pacth, I refuse to see it as a nerf. It wasn’t, it balance things and provides more diversity to use in other builds. Pistol Whip and Unload are examples of usage. Combined with the trait that gives 5 stacks of Might upon Signet activation, this can be deadly.
Actually, heavy armor has more base defense than medium and light armor.
Ignore this post. Someone with a 0 days account did the exact same post on Reddit. He’s just trying to get some nerfs to the ELe.
He doesn’t even post his build or a video, this is just to get nerfs.
I love when I see a rock complaining why paper always wins.
Bad philosophy. If you keep balancing stuff and take 1v1 statistics you would eventually get closer and closer to 50% wins for both professions. If you reach for example 47% vs 53% then player skill more than accounts for the discrepancy in probabilities. If MMOs would finally understand that the majority of players want fair 1v1 fights, they could implement 1v1 arenas, collect statistics, balance scientifically, and profit from tremendous success.
I WANT fair 1v1 fights. But you cannot expect that your build will be good against all other builds. I was trying to state the rock-papaer-scissor- philosophy where you are strong in some points and weak in others. You can’t expect nerfs to be done without realizing that there are builds that can beat that so-called OP builds.
For example, I have no problem fighting high toughness bunker guardians with my condition thief. But they are a major pain against my warrior.
Anyway, I got an infraction after I said that rock/paper thing. Apparently the moderator thinks what I posted has nothing to do with the subject discussed. I’m not complaining nor I will try to appeal, next time I’ll try to be less vague.

Yep, that’s right. Human and Norns are the most chosen races. And I got both. I didn’t want an asura because you can barely see their gear. Charrs are too hunched, and Sylvary, well… I don’t wanna be a kitten tree, I don’t even like nature.
A different kind of “sit” animation would also benefit those who like to sit in edge of rocks or cliffs for example.
Don’t act like the Darkhaven players did something wrong or unethical. This is pvp and no one is obliged to help or let you pass unharmed.
You may thank the Ehmry Bay players that let you go alongside them, but you can’t blame enemies because they attacked you.
This is not the way I was planing to get a precursor in my Road to a Legendary, but…
Anyway, thanks for trying to make things right in the TP by yourself.
Oh my god. Stop being stupid. They are not going to let you be an Asura regarding story, animation, voice and have, for example, the charr looks or skills. THIS IS DISGUSTING. Stop thinking it will be like the way you want it to be.
And plus, their main goal is to MAKE MONEY. Don’t you think they cosidered the fact that lots of players would want to buy the option to change race? If they don’t wanna do it, there must be some reason behind it.
You don’t need to like PVP to get the badges. You can do the 3 Borderlands Jumping puzzles every day. If you have 5 characters you can get around 75 badges per day.
Just do it when there’s little to no queue, otherwise you are ruining the pvp fo the players that are there to actually play the wvw.
Try Warrior. They have a Banner to ressurect players, and the Tactics trait line is specialized in reviving players. You can also have a build with high toughness and vitality and a few skills so you can be more effective.
Another way is trying to go for a thief and stealth yoursellf and your ally while you revive him. With his high mobility, he can reach players faster and quickly disappear.

Use your Kill Shot or Hundred Blades against me and it will be extremely painful… for you.
And who’s fault is that?
What they could do to improve this is spawn these things at a random place and the server who kills it gets a temporary wvw boon or maybe just points.
I don’t know if it’s like this already, but it’s suggestion anyway.
I’d like the Cyclops laser, or something so I could do Goku’s Kamehameha

At last! I thought I was the only one here who realized these guys don’t know crap about the classes they are talking about.
I heard somewhere that there are no equivalent for “Pact” weapons in PvE. Again, this is just what I heard someone saying.
You can check all available skins in your PvP locker in Heart of Mists. You can preview anything even if you don’t have it “collected” (except for cultural specific gear).
Or if you are lazy enough check this out, but I’d recommend the former option as it will show how it looks on your character.
I think this is the picture you are looking for, at least it fits your description. And you are right, this picture is so awesome it’s almost the reason I bought the game in the first place.
I also did this by mistake, I bought a cultural armor I didn’t want (I involuntarily double-clicked it), basically I threw a few precious gold into the garbage can. They should have a confirm panel if you are trying to buy something expensive (Rare or Exotic gear, for example).
Since it was my mistake, I never tried getting a refund, but it would be nice to have this to prevent players doing wasting time/money.
And you can’t transmute a light armor in order to get a heavy armor’s look, if you were by chance wondering that.
Big shoulders make legs looks thinner. It’s a valid argument. I don’t know in this patircular case, but I don’t like when shoulders are so big they make me look like Jhonny Bravo.
+1
What’s the reason to have a star next to your name, if you can’t even see it?
I agree with the OP. Plus, if hammers looked like this, it would be a lot more desirable.
For new Race, I would like to see Tengu or Largos. And a Monk class that uses Fists and or some kind of different weapons, like Ninja staff (you know, like Donatello’s staff) or chakrans, though the latter has nothing to do with GW world, I’m guessing.
And let them wear light armor, because I won’t bear to see a monk using those ridiculous longcoats or that pirate crap.

This would unbalance things.
There’s already a billion of threads about this. They already stated they’re looking into it.
Well, the thief was the class I had most fun playing with. Change your build perhaps. I was using D/D with heavy condition damage. Timing the Death Blossom so I can evade the enemy attack, droping caltrops on dodge, stealthing, using shadow step.
If you want my build. Go for Carrion gear with “of the Afflicted” runes, and Condition dmg daggers. Here are the traits: http://www.gw2builds.org/create/bwe_1/thief#0.0.1.1-1.4.20.15.2-20.0.20.0.30-12.9.3.4.12.10.3
So Stealthing will play a good role in this build. (it will give back initiative and make you safe while they bleed). Caltrops deal a good bleed damage while crippling them. You will have a total of 15 initiative, and Healing or Stealing will give you 6 initiave back. And I personally like Venom, so I traited it in Deadly Arts (Deadly Arts is necessary because it adds duration on your conditions) so it can be more powerfull.
This build is perfect for facing x vs 1 enemies, since Leap Death Blossom (it will be your main attack) is AoE.
I really would like an official response if there will ever be or not this option. Or at least someone saying they are analyzing the suggestion. I never played GW1 and I’m not sure if there’s this option there.
I had this awesome insight to how I want my character to look like, and for this to happen I have to change almost everything (build, hair, skin color, etc). So, I wanna know if changing character looks will be ever implemented or not, cause if not, I’m willingly to reroll my lvl 30 just to do this.
How can we get there?
Try this one. Its shiny, flashy, glowing. They should even put it on fire.
Not to mention that the Commander title should be bought with WvW badges not gold, so you can’t get one farming or being good at TP. But they want to suck money from players…. sigh. “Look I’m a Commander and I have no idea what I’m doing. Shiny, shiny icon! Skritt likes shiny icon!”
They should put a warning before deleting, if the char is still geared or there are items in the inventory.
WE WANTS MOUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a thief, I’m perfectly able to put 25 stacks of bleed, if I mange to let him stay over my caltrops. Which is not hard to accomplish btw. But the 25 stacks won’t last more than 3~4 secs, it drops to an avarege of 20. Which is fine, but it should be 25 stacks max per player.
A car would be nice! I’d like to see my thief riding a nice car!
Here kitty kitty. Let me put more milk.
I also don’t agree with changing races or professions. But I’d like to be able to change my looks and my name. But I think they will allow that in time.
Well, my poison ability (Spider Venom) lasts around 70 seconds (if applied to a single target) and deals 222 dmg (no matter how much toughness the target has) per second. Which is around 15k dmg (only the venom). It recharges every 36 seconds.
The problem with the thief is that you gotta “trait” it in order to that thing be good. So everything is very build dependable.
My computer is slower than a far lower spec pc... help
