You are pretty much asking them to half ass it by making a new race that’s cut off from like 70% percent of game content. That wouldn’t fly.

Like it or not, the current story is a direct continuation of the base game personal story. If tengu characters just come in after their own tutorial – why is everyone referring to them as the pact commander and saying they defeated Zhaitan if they didn’t? Or if you give them an alternative origin story – they would have to write all future content with this in mind, or keep plotting future expansions twice, once for tengu origin characters and once for everyone else.

Wouldn’t be that much different. The player has already left the Pact. Having an episode or so dedicated to an origin story and a couple modified voice lines wouldn’t be that difficult.

Tengu? Seriously? Nah… Dwarves making a comeback, and becoming a playable race, makes way more sense for the xpac.

Dwarves have no lore to support that return. They’re basically gone. On the other hand, we KNOW that the Tengu will help fight the Elder Dragons. That’s confirmed.

I really want Tengu, honestly.

Anet was always planning on adding in new races. I’m frankly surprised we haven’t gotten them yet. It’s pretty likely we will for the next expansion.
They said they would never add mounts, and now they are. The Tengu are just a matter of time.

It’s not an economically viable solution. The expansions are guaranteed sales. You NEED to spend money to get them. With gems, if you want to grind and exchange, you can.

Viable Ranged Class

My question is simple. Are any ranged classes/playstyles viable atm?

It seems like the generic Ranger type with bow and long range is no longer played because of the specializations.

I usually don’t like to play melee but I don’t want to build a character that no one will want in the group, you know.

Ranger is still often played. I play greatsword/longbow.
If you want something top-tier viable, a fresh air staff tempest build is meta right now.

Honestly, a fair amount of the new weapon skins don’t look that bad. The hammer, for one, is kitten. I would use the rifle, but sadly it’s too big. My thief is going to need something sleeker, so I’ll be using the merciless rifle skin instead. It’s one of the sleekest in the game (and it’s still not that sleek) while still being a darker colour.

What about, like, other Sylvari? If we don’t see another Pale Tree, do we see Sylvari FROM another Pale Tree, or maybe Sylvari who truly are Mordremoth’s minions? I’d imagine we see some of ours (though I’ve played through the first map’s storyline and nothing big so far….) that have been turned, but what about some that Mordremoth grew on his own? The Royal Guard… Mordrem Guard…? I think they’re called? They’re much more intelligent and organized, so wouldn’t Sylvari come in at some point too?

You can fight and kill Mordremoth in this expansion. It’s actually rather quite easy and quick if you were to no life it for a full day or maybe two. So far through my story there is no mention of the second Pale Tree from where Malyck is supposedly from but there is another secret city that we learn about.

Like, the gold city or yet another one?

And yeah, I figured if you did nothing but the storyline it would be rather quick. That’s part of the reason I’m mastery level 1…. What about the Mordremoth fight itself? Is it another Zhaitan?

Or is there more content beyond what they’ve released that has to do with Mordremoth (aka: do we fight Mordremoth in this expansion, if I were to play non-stop could I fight him or do I need to wait for them to release more of the storyline)?

Pirate Captain’s outfit didn’t become a consumable. It became a costume. It goes in a costume slot. If you have more than one character who wears it, you can chuck it in their slot.

If you don’t you can delete them. They’re free to use from the wardrobe anyway.

No, I mean it became a “consumable” which unlocks the outfit in the wardrobe.

Cultural Armour Gone....

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Kingkiller.9645

First time playing since the wardrobe update. I bought T3 Human Cultural Armour for my Thief, but since she wasn’t level 80 yet, she couldn’t wear it. So I just kept it in her inventory for the time being.
Now, the skin for the T3 Human Cultural Armour IS there. It’s in the wardrobe. However, the armour itself is gone. Meaning all those awesome stats too. I was more than just the skin, jeez. I was the actual armour itself. But nope. Gone.

So… what? I don’t want to spend 109 gold on a new set just for the stats, but nor do I want to seek out the best armour as soon as I hit 80 either.

yes, go buy all those “Cheap” 15s dyes so this guy can regroup from his losses.

Seeing as how unidentified dyes are worth double that amount, yeah they’re pretty cheap. Even if they’re made account bound, we can still use them to find masterwork or rare dyes (by chance) and make a profit, or at least score even.

You are comparing the wrong prices. But whatever – buy them all and get rich. Sounds like a gold mine.

I’m actually not.
I’m buying dyes for 15s each. Come the April update, duplicate dyes will become unidentified dyes, which are worth 32s CURRENTLY. That price is going to shoot up for the first few days of the update. People are going to want to unlock as many dyes as they can… and the supply will be more than enough. Still, the price will skyrocket momentarily.

See the prices here? I buy 6 dyes worth 15s, I get 5 unidentified dyes worth 32s back.
End result – 70s profit, minus whatever the tp takes (15% of original cost).

But of course, it could end up being the other way around, with tons of unidentified dyes flooding the TP now that the idea has gone public on the forums, driving the price way down. As with anything to do with economics, it’s all a gamble in the end..

On the contrary my friend. One of two things will happen. Either people will think like you and say “nah, won’t do it”. Or, people will think “hey, let’s do this!”. If they think the second one, they’ll be in the minority group… mostly because not very many players look at the forums, and fewer look at specific ones (this one). Also because most people seeing this will think like you.

Basically it’s a method to inform everyone about it, making sure they know about it, but also making sure that they know everyone else knows about it, thereby making nobody do it.

And if I’m wrong, I can always resort to discovering the dyes and selling them.

And nah, they said unidentified dyes… that means non-account bound. Even account bound, we’d still be able to use them to get uncommon or rares and sell them for profit.

Nope.
In PvP you can craft unidentified dyes, and those are account bound, after you open it the dye can be sold.

Also, the 70s was the unidentified dyes, the “cheap” ones reached about 20s but now got cheaper already.

Sure you can try to profit from it, but don’t expect any return for a while.

You read my post wrong. I never said PvP. I’m talking about PvE. You can craft dyes that aren’t identified, but are limited to a rarity and hue. For example, I just crafted 10 unidentified gray dyes (rare) and made about 2 gold off them.

And yeah, I know not to expect profit off them. Hence the “come april update”

You are very late for this.
When that announcement was made the cheap dyes was around 2s and suddenly unID dyes reached ~70s. (all that in matter of minutes)
After the update LOADS of unID dyes will flood the TP making the price get very low, in the future unID will probably get higher but not sure how long it will take to make your investment worth.
Also we are not 100% sure if the unID we’ll get from the duplicated dyes will be account bound (like the PvP ones) or not.
Since you missed the sweet spot to make that investment I suggest to not try it.

Actually I didn’t miss the sweet spot. I’ve already bought roughly 25 cheap dyes at 10 to 15 silver each. 10 to 15. Not 70. Not to mention the fact that you can craft unidentified shade dyes, such as unidentified brown dye.

And nah, they said unidentified dyes… that means non-account bound. Even account bound, we’d still be able to use them to get uncommon or rares and sell them for profit.

Elementalists will be HUGE, for sooo many reasons. They’re squishy, but they have SO MANY HEALS! Elementalists can also play crit chance, crit damage (arcane skills always crit), condition, power, boons, or basically any build and be amazing at it.
Also, they can summon the best weapons ever. Fiery Greatsword has the strongest damage in the game, and frost bow is no laughing matter either. Glyph of storms provides huges dps or constant blind…

Guardians will also be highly sought after, for reasons I don’t need to explain.
Warriors and engineers will kinda be neutral.
Everyone else will kinda take a backseat.

Time Warp will keep mesmers in a spot well above rangers/necros.

Also why are you trying to Crit things which don’t have the ability to be crit? Somebody has a case of the elelove.

Ehmmm not really. Read my post again. Our arcane skills ALWAYS crit and have a rather short cooldown. Building huge amounts of crit damage will result in extremely powerful attacks… building the rest into power.

Dyes…

If you already have the same dyes unlocked on multiple characters, when you log in on additional characters, you will receive one unidentified dye for each duplicate dye already unlocked on your account.

So basically, this means I can buy 6 of the same, cheap, 15s dye and unlock it on all my characters, and receive 5 32s unidentified dyes in return come the update?

With dyes becoming account unlocks, the demand for dye will decrease and unidentified dyes will no longer drop as loot but will still be available from the Mystic Forge and select in-game rewards.

From what I’m hearing, they’re going to increase for a few weeks before decreasing, so it would be best to actually price my unidentified dye at something more like 35s due to people wanting more of it to unlock the rares….

OK. I stand corrected on the stats. There is however still an important distinction. The actual Twilight can have it’s stats changed on the fly, the ascended weapons can not. In the event they decided to release something above ascended, the Twilight will be improved. The fake Twilights will not.

So if I have a random greatsword named “plurpurple” and apply dusk to it… Normally it would be renamed “Dusk” and have the looks of Dusk, as well as whatever rarity Dusk had. Is this not the case? Will it still be named “plurpurple”?

Suggestion: Female/male armour toggle

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Kingkiller.9645

Kingkiller.9645

Toggle for female armour to use male armour look

I’m a member of a GW2 Girls facebook group, and one issue that comes up pretty regularly is the female armour. Fairly frequently a piece of armour that looks powerful and kitten on a male character will look sexy/girlish and often exposing on a female. Several of the women in the group who like to play female characters prefer sexy, but the majority of them enjoy playing a more practically dressed character.

It is already possible to play a completely unsexualised female humanoid but requires hunting around for skins and armour sets, particularly for light armoured classes. The default light armour at character creation is a miniskirt, garter and crop-top, which can be offputting for a new player.

Guild Wars 2 is already incredibly welcoming to female players; the charr and asura are brilliant, and the female NPCs are whole people with their own motives. It’s this incredibly positive experience I’ve had that makes me hungry for more.

I think a great solution to this issue would be to have a toggle (maybe on the bottom right of the armour piece, like the show/hide toggle) that allows you to switch between the default ‘female’ armour, and the ‘male’ armour. This could be added gradually, focusing on the armour sets with the biggest differences between male and female.

Alternatively/ in addition a similar toggle on character creation might help a new female player feel more welcome and catered for.

While this isn’t part of my suggestion it would be nice to eventually see such a toggle on the male humanoids too, so that they can wear the cute girl skirts too if they want. That would be crazy-progressive.

Edit: To be clear I mean showing the skin of the male armour on the female frame.

I agree with the idea, but not the method. Giving females access to make armour models would be too controversial, due to little cross-dressing theme it brings with it (nothing wrong with that, but if that isn’t the intent then it becomes controversial), as well as the fact that they’d have to add female clothing for men.

How about a modified armour for both genders? Not the armour of the opposite gender, but rather a look more “buff” (for females) or “sleek” (for males)??

No, you’d have six ascended greatswords, that LOOKED like twilight. They would not have the same stats as Twilight since the legendaries are always guaranteed to be best inc class stats. They also would not have the ability to change stats while out of combat. If you make a zerker ascended greatsword, it will ALWAYS be a zerker ascended greatsword. But the legendary greatsword can be changed at will. Sentinel, zerker, dire, whatever you need for the toon using it.

They are not Twilight. Just look like it.

Actually ascended stats are just as good as Legendary stats. Look it up. And I did say ascended, so you would still have 6 Twilights.

You’re partially right. It WAS in the same paragraph. However, what I quoted was a direct copy-paste. They never said Eternity, they said Twilight.
Here, I’ll quote the paragraph.

If you have an item that has gone through skin progression, like a legendary weapon or one of the Spinal Blade backpacks from the “Escape from Lion’s Arch” and “Battle for Lion’s Arch” releases, you will unlock all of the skins in that direct line of progression. That means that if you made Twilight, you will have access to both the Twilight and Dusk skins across your entire account. If you’ve created the Dynamic Tempered Spinal Blades, you’ll unlock that skin and all previous Spinal Blade skins.

See? Unlock Twilight and you have access to both Twilight and Dusk… Explain how that makes sense? They MUST have proof-readers, I doubt this was a typo.

I’ve reread your message a couple of times, and I guess I just don’t understand what you are asking.

For example, regarding the legendaries, if you made twilight, you will still have twilight as an equipable item, with it’s stats and ability to change stats out of combat. You will now also be able to skin another non-legendary sword so that it appears like twilight, but it will not suddenly become twilight. You still only have one twilight.

The conversion to account bound means you will be able to move your twilight to another toon as desired. But you still only have one twilight.

Actually the quote said make one and you’d have access to BOTH twilight AND dusk, which is what the question was about.

But not really. Go and transmute something. You have three things to change. The rune, the stats, and the skin/name. The skin/name come together.
If I transmute an ascended item with Twilight, opting to have different stats but at the same level, it’s still twilight. Why? Because I transmute it to be.
The name comes with the skin.
If I made an ascended greatsword with the exact same stats as Twilight, then used the wardrobe skin to make it into twilight and equipped the appropriate rune to it, would it be Twilight? Because I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between it and the original. Using this method, I could make 6 Twilights.

Kingkiller.9645

So with the announcement of the wardrobe, I have a few (8) questions. Brace yourself; they’re lengthy.

First, ascended gear and weapons. It costs a fortune to craft one, as well as have level 500 in crafting in a specific trade. What if we have double, or triples? Will one of our skins be turned into a corresponding amount of transmutation charges? It would seem really kittenty if we suddenly had this hard-earned and rare item suddenly useless because you have it everywhere.

Second, will our skin-based items disappear to consume the skin? I’d rather not have my dragon wings disappear… Their traits are unique.

Third, the trading post. Will we be able to buy skins from the trading post? Will there be restrictions (aka: can’t sell limited skins, such as Fervid Censer and Mad Memories, both)? And to follow up on this, if we can, can we unlock multiples of the same skin, similar to collectibles?! Or just sell extras that we made prior or after the update (aka: crafting weapons with unique skins is now crafting skins, like the corrupted weapons that are craft-able)?

Fourth, pre-transmuted items. Now ANET said that we’d be able to unlock both the first and the last skin… What if we’ve transmuted it say, twice? Will that middle skin be lost? Or is the very first one lost? Or do we keep them all? Do you even have records of what we’ve transmuted?

Fifth, rings and trinkets. Small skins, but still skins… Will these be added as well?

Sixth (almost done!) I had a Polly doll until very recently (destroyed it). It was a cool skin, but you couldn’t transmute it and it had level 5 stats, so I got rid of it… Will we get skins like this, for items we’ve recently destroyed? I’m kinda kittened about that.

Seventh, transmutation charges. Stones and crystals came as rewards for map completion, loot from chests and bonus chests, Black Lion Trading Company chests, and various other things. Will we receive charges in the same way?

Finally, saving the best for last, legendaries. Ah, legendaries. I have a few questions about them.
First of all, two things ANET said contradict themselves.
First, they said that legendaries and ascended items would become account-bound instead of soul-bound, that including both future and currently-equipped items. Does this mean that those skins won’t be added the the wardrobe?
But wait, that doesn’t make sense, because ANET also said
" if you made Twilight, you will have access to both the Twilight and Dusk skins across your entire account" (more on this quote in a minute)
(I’ll paste the direct links to where ANET has said both of these things below.)
So which is it? Is the legendary unlocked as a skin? Or is the legendary moved to account-bound? Or is it both, and we keep the original legendary but have access to more? If this is the case, what happens to people who dual-wield incinerators, or have two of the same legendary for two characters?
There isn’t much compensation you can offer someone for something that’s basically the end goal of the game, taking months at least to acquire.
Now back to that quote from earlier. " if you made Twilight, you will have access to both the Twilight and Dusk skins across your entire account" So this means that Dusk and Dawn will essentially be becoming one legendary? What will happen to the crafting requirement? Combining for Eternity? Forget that, what happens to people who have crafted both, or have crafted Eternity? I know I’d be kittened. There goes months of crafting two or three items when I could have just made one or two, and had a second or third-craft able easily within a few hours!!!
Lastly, if legendaries become skins for the wardrobe, what happens to selling legendaries? Will the legendaries on the TP become skins for their owners, stay as they are, or change to skins and stay on the TP? This also correlates to the previous question I asked about how skins and the TP would relate to each other.

Thanks for answering anyone, and sorry for it being so long!

Well let’s see what the March 24th announcement says about this. It’s titled “A New Way to Explore the Looks of Guild Wars 2”. I’m expecting both 1st world and Rift/Valve VR API compatibility.

Oh god… I hope so. It’s probably something different, but I seriously hope so.

Speaking of FPS mode, I do hope we’ll someday get Oculus Rift support, even though it would probably be pretty ridiculous to actually play that way. (Go dodge rolling! )

Also speaking of FPS mode, I’d love an option to show a high-granularity frame rate display in-game without needing to leave the options window open.

I’d love Oculus Rift support, but I just don’t see it happening. Dodge rolling would be amazing, but think about skills like pulls, rolls, leaps, etc. For example, the dagger elementalist skill 3 in the fire trait would be too fast. If it were something like SAO, then it would be amazing, but without doing the actions ourselves that would be too disorientating. Oculus Rift is really just a literal FPS mode, not true virtual reality.
Actually thieves would be destroyed by this. Especially some skills such as the d/d dual wield skill. How do you even picture that in FPS and continue fighting without the delay of turning around?

And about your second point, you could probably get that with dual monitors…. if the game supported them. One monitor for the menus, one for the game, and another maybe for the world map.

Arah story is pretty much the worst part to the pretty terrible Personal Story. I think just about everyone can agree on that.

If you come at it from a “laugh at all this stupid kitten” perspective, it’s more enjoyable.

QFT.

Yes, Arah story is terrible. TBH, I haven’t really found any of the story (personal or LS) in GW2 to be that interesting

Maybe it’s the presentation? The side-by-side on a stage, not even looking at each other cutscenes are soooo dry…

Maybe it’s the lack of depth? Rather than expanding on some part of Tyrian lore for living story, we get some ginger kitten who just wants to destroy the world…for some reason…oh yeah, because a dragon told her to…

It’s frustrating how much lore there is to draw on from GW1, but the stories in GW2 just feel so….cheap.

Try out The Secret World or ESO instead, where the NPCs make you feel things and the stories hold your attention.

No idea what The Secret World is, but I was in the beta for ESO. It is the worst game of all time, no debate. Everything is terrible. The gameplay, the storyline, the graphics, the voice acting, etc, etc.

Plus, aside from Zhaitan I really like GW2. Earlier in the personal storyline it was a very good, well written story. I’ve cried twice. Nope, not ashamed to say I drew man tears at the deaths or Faolain (I’m Sylvari, so that hit me five times harder than most).

Please always remind yourself, and given the circimstance of this especially (it is the ending to the personal story, after all), it has to be catered to the lowest common denominator, much like almost all of the other content in-game, so the hypercasuals have a chance to win. I mean, the already huff and puff about having to enter an instance and party with people in an MMO just to complete “MY” story, could yoy imagine how much more they’d rage of they actually had to fight some real bosses? Oh boy…

Pick any single enemy in the entire of guild wars. ANY ENEMY AT ALL. I guarantee you it was harder that Zhaitan. Yes, that includes level 2 moa birds.

So long as a mod doesn’t alter the game code or provide an unfair advantage, it is allowed.

Unfortunately I don’t see there being any way to make a first-person mode without modifying the code. The zoom-out mod for example was a mod that allowed a larger field of vision, and a lot of people were banned for that it because it both gave an unfair advantage and messed with the game code.

What about a zoom in mod? It woudn’t be true FPS, but it would be perfect for screenshots and some instances (like the recent celebration one where you do absolutely nothing).

Like I said, I have NO idea where to ask this. This seemed like the best spot, though it’s definitely not the right one. Anyways, is it still possible to buy Guild Wars? I’d like to get more acquainted with the world 250 years ago. I knew people who played the original but never got to play it myself. Is it still possible to play the game/buy the game/play a trial version?

The smell of sulfur in the air,
ghostly apparitions everywhere,
cannons blazing through our lines
and knocking the warband on their spines.

Each the soldier to take up arms,
even the mesmers with their charms,
with a loud roar we will take flight,
and crush the ghosts underneath our might.

Every shadowy shape of long lost dead
will shatter in the path that our paws tread.
We will claim our land, we will have won,
when we march the lands of Ascalon.

Where did you find that? That’s pure awesomeness!

The suggestion forum was archived due to being temporary, but isn’t there some sort of replacement to it?

Anyways, mods and macros? Can we use them? Obviously not if they give us an advantage over other players, but what about aesthetic ones? Personally, I would LOVE an FPS mode mod. Obviously not for combat, since characters move around too much, but for non-combat zones such as cities and certain instances…. And one for screenshots too (or simply make the characters invisible to you for the screenshots)!!!!!
Oh my god, just imagine Divinity’s Reach and The Grove in first person!!
So are we allowed this kind of thing? I don’t mean discouraged, are we allowed period?
Thanks!

Zhaitan... Wasn't he an Elder Dragon?

Didn’t he basically threaten to destroy the world? From what everyone said in the game, Elder Dragons are near-invincible creatures, capable of destroying everything. EVERYTHING. One dragon champion (the easiest one) would be at least 5 times harder than Zhaitan.

SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU HAVEN’T BEATEN ZHAITAN!

I put off the living story for as long as I could, wanting to get the best of everything before I faced this awesome creature. I went to the dungeon Arah, not knowing that was where I fought Zhaitan. The first part of the dungeon was incredibly easy. We could have accomplished it with 3 of us. Now in the case of most dungeons, this is sort of true. Not nearly to the extent Arah had it, but still.
Then we boarded an airship, the Humble. It was fun, fighting god knows how many dragon champions, etc, etc. Of course, they, as did the ground bosses, gave crap loot. 2 Fine armour pieces. That’s it. IT. Very few bags, almost no karma, and at best 2 silver. It was like this for everyone in the party; I also have a decent amount of magic find, boosted even further by my dragonfly cupcakes.

Now the dragon champions I wouldn’t call strong. They summoned undead, which were easy to hold off and protect my allies while they gunned down the dragons. I just blinded them, rooted and stunned them, healed allies, and grew some Sylvari turrets. Down go two dragons.
Of course, they did manage to fear me off the ship, but that’s it.
They were overall pretty weak. I even had the time and curiosity to (before they feared me off) jump off the ship and fall for a good 7 seconds, die, respawn on the ship, and have one of my allies come to rez me while the other 3 killed the dragons.

The came a bigger ship as ours went down. We hopped aboard The Glory of Tyria and WOAH HERE COMES ZHAITAN! He didn’t even attack. He spawned incredibly weak minions, and not very many of them. From the moment we got on that ship, we might as well have all gone afk. Not like any of the minions gave us loot. The crew members and Destiny’s Edge alone could have destroyed them all.
Then we shoot him. And he just sits there. He doesn’t even fight back!!! Commanding dragon champions? NOPE! JUST SIT THERE AND DIE!

I was hoping maybe we could fight him in the air, weaken him, then have him plummet to the earth, taking our ship with him. Then maybe we could land on a large, flat piece of land, and fight him in one last battle to determine the fate of Tyria. Instead, he just dies.
Elder dragons are incredibly powerful. Of course we wouldn’t be able to kill him outright. But maybe if we weakened him in the sky, then fought the biggest battle in GW2 it would be good. But now… I was hoping a battle against him at quarter strength, and army from the Pact (couple hundred maybe) at our side, and him calling in dragons and minions of all sorts and of all strengths. Maybe Zhaitan fighting us right off the bat, then calling in a dragon champion or two, with maybe 5 champions or so on the field.

Because as it is now, it’s a movie. It’s not a fight. It’s a sci-fi spaceship battle against a dragon. Killing a Champion Spider Queen with 20 players is more challenging than this.

And was Trahearne even there? Cause I didn’t see him. Did he chicken out and decide to stay behind to “guard the fort” or something?

I’m HOPING they’ll add another few zones for the new dragon, but I highly doubt it.
I actually really want some zones for the crystal dragon. Come on, we’ve beaten Zhaitan (worst fight ever ANET btw, could have soloed that easily), add a continuation of the living story where we can fight more dragons! And make the boss fights actual BOSS fights instead of movies. Because it literally would not have made a difference if 4 of my team had just gone afk as soon as we boarded the giant airship.

Best condition damage profession

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Posted by: Kingkiller.9645

Kingkiller.9645

PPPFFFFFTTT. EASY. Elementalists. A dagger/dagger or a scepter/dagger build is LOADED with condition damage.
Build around toughness/condition, power/condition or vitality/condition.
Toughness will upgrade the effectiveness of your heals (something an ele is amazing for), and that will be even more amazing if you add 6 runes of the undead onto your ele. You also have a trait in your earth magic trait line (I believe grandmaster) to give you an extra 10% conversion of toughness to condition.
Power/condition is easy to build, and will give you great support when you’re in fire. Earth is amazing for damage, but it’s not the best for manoeuvrability… and your skills do go on cd. Once you’re in water or fire, power will drastically help, especially as burns don’t stack intensity.
Vitality and condition go AMAZING with 6 runes of scavenging, and add that onto the fact that ele excels in heals and applying fast condition stacks, and you’re set.

Buying gems with separate payment options....

Where I live, very few GW2 gem cards are sold, and even fewer are made, so it’s hard to get my hands on them. So instead, I use prepaid a MasterCard. BUT they don’t sell them with the right amount on the card. Now unless I use the extra cash on the card to buy something IRL, I can’t actually use the remainder. Is there a way to use two prepaid cards for on gem purchase? For example, I currently have two prepaid cards each with 5$ on them, which would get me the 10 dollar package…. But I don’t know how to combine those two cards into one purchase.
