In the past when they have added something like to TOT bags, it was in a fourth slot. So having it take up one of the three seems like a negative. Personally, I got a key for a character finishing a zone, and for the first time since beta, I am saving the key in the bank until they “fix” the BL chests.

Now it seems we’re getting -1 slot for the same price…at least reduce the cost of keys then.
I have not bought any gems or keys since that patch, and don’t intend to until they adjust it. Either get rid of the ToT bag or add an extra slot.

I hope Anet rethinks this disastrous decision. Please revert to at least 3 items and the extra with the “seasonal” item…it really isn’t worth purchasing keys at the moment.

Definitely all this! Especially the chef crafting items…Not sure how hard it would be incorporate all those keys from HoT into our Wallet items…that would solve a ton of problems. It’s done with Unbound magic, why not keys, rubies, etc…

This might be a stretch and possibly something to think about for the future, but what about adding bank tabs for Holiday/Event items.
I’m a bit of a hoarder and I usually save items/food from holiday events for the next year.
In fact I have a couple stacks of Baubles from SAB, Still have candy canes, etc…from Wintersday, potions, etc…
What about all the mining tools? My bank is full of them from Wintersday boxes, or at least allow those to stack.
Just a thought.

Ever since this last update a few mins ago.

Just want to vent my frustration at this particular item being locked behind the JP! For the last 2 weeks I’ve completed it twice…One day after 4 hours I just had it.
I completely stopped playing. I have had absolutely no desire to continue with any of the Wintersday festivities any more.
JP in this game are usually never a requirement, I mostly skip over them and have completed them at least once for map completion. But not without having to get my mindset on being extremely frustrated.
That being said, as a GW fan of the first game and still not too sure about GW2, I’ve become disheartened with the game I’ve loved all these years and the freedom to choose what you want to do without the fear of feeling you need to catch up. I’ve quit games that felt like it was a full time job. I already have one.
For you JP fans that it comes easy for, Kudos to you! But I can’t help feeling a large loss that I won’t be able to complete “goals” I’ve set for myself in this game, including some bad experiences from the HoT exp., but that’s another day.
I hope Anet reconsiders this option next year and possibly extends some other choices to the JP challenged!

Yes, those are the ones I was looking at. The weapons with the snowflake animation. Booo, no rifle there.

This has been happening to me for a few weeks now. Not sure which patch it was, but my mini’s disappear anytime I change maps.
They fixed it awhile ago, but the nasty bug is back again.

I never crash in this game even when HoT came out. Just a few minutes ago I got “send report to anet” screen then screen went back to game but UI was missing a lot. Was able to option to log off and when I did my screen went black and had to do a hard shut down.
Very strange.

Ranger was my main since GW1, alot of diversity in builds and yes, some staff builds i used as Ritualist secondary was hell of a lot of fun. However, staff always felt a bit clunky and i’ve shelved my spirit ranger and her legendary in GW2 since the nerf.
I also played a Monk profession in GW1 and enjoyed it immensely, so it’s not something i’m unfamiliar with.
On one hand the Druid spec seems to me an afterthought of adding a new monk/heal profession and ditched that idea so they slapped it on the ranger.
That being said, I will dust her off and respec for Druid to give it a try, but i’m still skeptical since Ranger hasn’t been a main focus for the devs in quite awhile. Hence, no red dialogue in the ranger forums for multiple pages and the last spec to drop for the new xpac.
Once again, I am somewhat disappointed but i’ve worked too kitten my GWAMM ranger getting her a legendary and ascended gear to let her die on my char screen.

I have to agree with most posts here and am actually pretty disappointed in this event. I’m quite surprised at the lack of any rewards for spending 30 minutes in the event, no exp, karma or coin.
It just doesn’t make sense. An event you have to spend gold on for WP and vendor rewards isn’t going to draw new players in.
It almost seems to me this is some sort of beta test to get our reactions for future events when the xpac launches.
I wasn’t going to log in at all yesterday, but was curious. I did one event in Kessex and logged out.

As far as no loot drops from mobs, now really? Whats so wrong with champs dropping a box? So what if it becomes a farming opportunity? It’s only for a few days.
Silverwastes is successful because of this.

Gaile, we appreciate the update today, but I find hard to believe there’s no chance in getting some sort of fix for this. Add some exp and some coin. Give some bloom drops so at least you can get something from the vendor.

As a huge fan of GW1 and the fun events we had over the years, this is completely lackluster and totally surprising from Anet who promised the no grind mentality.

Played through with my husband last night. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and even teared up a little when Turai and The Forgotten were mentioned. I even felt the frustration when I completed the “Ascension” mission and decimated my evil doppelganger!
I can’t tell you how many times I had to do that mission! LOL!

This brought back so many great memories of Guild Wars. Nice job!

Other people are good at it and enjoy it.

There are people who are good at bell choir and the jumping puzzle and who find it enjoyable. Therefore, they should remain as options for the daily.

I got thru a whole round, got kicked a lot but went back in to stay til it ended. I received 0 points and got no credit for staying. I guess this is gonna be a wash for me and my hubby. Neither one of us are any good at these types of games. Wish there more options.

And yes, it is “that difficult” for some people who just don’t have that type of dexterity for key mashing.
I spent quite a lot of time trying to just practice it, but it was a disaster. I usually just move on if I can’t complete something, like the JP. Spent many hours last year attempting it and I think I got thru once, but it took me about 4 hours.
I don’t usually complain, but there really should be more options to complete some wintersday games for dailies. There’s a lot going on as it is.

You’re saying to REMOVE them because they are too hard for you.

I countered giving an example from my end. That the WvW dailies are too hard for me to do so they should remove them. Nevermind the people that are good at WvW and/or enjoy WvW.

You’re basically telling ANet to remove two things from the Daily because you don’t like them because you can’t do them without regard to the fact that other people like them.

By the way, I’m in the same boat as you. But due to the jumping puzzle. The Wintersday jumping puzzle hates me as I’m horrible at jumping and have to stop and spend several seconds to aim my jump. Doesn’t work too well with the falling snowflakes and the dropping of health.

Zaoda has a better solution. Instead of doing all 5, it should be do 3 of the 5. At least if they mean complete successfully. If it just toggles for completion, then they are bugged and you should still be able to get it assuming you participate and remain in the activity until the very end. If it’s completion, it should be 3 out of 5 just to cover the people who do have serious issues with certain activities or just don’t like a couple of them. I believe Mesmers can’t use their portal skill in the Wintersday puzzle and some people don’t have the dexterity due to physical handicaps.

No where did I ask them to be REMOVED. I have friends who love the JP and the Bell Choir games. Doesn’t mean I have to do them though.
Just suggested that there be more options added.

On the other hand, I agree that at least 3/5 of complete or just ADD more options for dailies.
And yes, it seems to be a bit glitched. After about 30 mins or so of practicing I was able to get the achievement. But I was getting kicked anyway for what I’m sure were the right notes. I played the easy songs in the lower parts. So it wasn’t too bad and there weren’t as many notes to hit.

As I stated, I was in the choir but kept losing health since I was missing notes. I would get kicked from the stage and well, no update to my daily.

Can’t do the bell choir or the jumping puzzle but required for the Wintersday daily? Please change this.
Tried a round of the choir and kept dying, so that was a bust. As for the JP, well I’m not great at those and usually just steer clear of it.
These two shouldn’t be included as a requirement of the dailies.

I would love to see a rotation of about 4 different bonus weekends
I for one would really enjoy double track credit weekends for PvP.
Maybe a bonus champ bag at the end of every dungeon weekend
Something involving world bosses or bonus Karma from PVE stuff weekend.
And lastly, something involving WvW.

If I remember correctly, they dedicated one weekend a month to PvP. Special rewards such as the double Faction points in sPvP, etc…
I really enjoyed the double XP’s, double Lockpick drops, Double and Triple rare weapon drops, etc..
They even still have the Wanted quests and Boss Bounties. That would be fun too. Like I said, I log in less and less, but still check and see what, if any, special weekend events they may come up with.
At this point I’m kind of leery about the holidays coming up and if the Gem store will be the main event again.

Will there ever be any weekend events like there were in GW1? Today is National Talk Like a Pirate Day, and the only thing I see is some reduced prices in the Gem Store
What ever happened to special increased drop weekends? Or double XP? or special drops like Birthday cupcakes?
I have to say I find myself logging in less and less these days, because it just seems like reduced prices in the Gem Store is the only special event we are getting. Frankly, it’s getting tiresome and disappointing.

Every time I try to port to LA, no matter what WP I use, I still end up in the Eastern Ward.

Definitely won’t be going back in there, severely disappointed It was a blast last year when it first came out, then they had to go and change it.

My quaggan finisher doesn’t work, like everythings busted for me

Before the patch I was able to click on the mini map and zoom in and out. Now it will only zoom in and out on the camera in game. This is happening as well when I use my mouse to scroll inventory, bank, guild roster, etc….

I’m still getting the default bunny finisher even after activating the Quaggan finisher. Paid 800 gems for this. Would like this to work properly !

Figured it out, I had to click on the actual offhand weapon for it to show the skins.

I’m having the same problem. I can’t switch to my one handed weapons from my LB, to reskin them.
Even if I swap weapons, it still stuck on my LB.

I think he means the same thing as me, I don’t mind playing a class that has a pet, but as a ranger I would prefer to just be me and my bow. If they want to add a pet to the class then fine but I rather be without one.

Honestly, Since they already admitted that Pet is broken and they also admitted that they will not do any changes to pets anymore. This means that they have given up on the Pet mechanic for rangers. If this is true then the least they can do is return the 30% damage that the pet is SUPPOSE to do and give it back to the ranger so we are not handicapped anymore. Keep the pets in, remove the damage from the pets which we know they can do this since they have already nerfed the damage of the pets. By doing this you still have a pet class, the PC has full 100% control over his/her damage while the NPC/Pet has full control over the CC’s, stuns, knockdowns, buffs, etc. I believe this is the best solution to the pet problem right now and probably the easiest solution for ANet.

I don’t see why a utility slot can’t be used if you really want the pet out. The pet stow ability is absolutely useless if you take damage.
As it stands now, the pets are all over the place, there’s absolutely NO pet functionality for us. Pressing F1 and F2 is just a waste of time now. ex: Bear “shake it off” Bear runs to Jormag and growls :/
If Anet is adamant about being unable to fix this, how about giving an option in the new character selection.

Once you escort him and the sylvari to Crossroads, he turns into a merchant supposedly to sell booze for karma, but when you click on him he just shows my inventory to sell.
Don’t know how long this has been bugged
