Could work but personally i feel that you might get more out of Arcane then you would Earth trait lines.

Fire:
Burning Precision > Power Overwhelming > Persisting Flames

Arcane:
Arcane Precision (or) Renewing Stamina > Elemental Contingency > Bountiful Power (or) Evasive Arcana

Weaver:
Superior Elements > Weaver’s Prowess > Elements of Rage (or) Invigorating Strikes

The new Grieving Stats: Power + + Condi + + Precision + Ferocity + sound like it might be a good fit for a weaver maybe with flame legion runes to boost the burn duration and for the extra damage to burning targets.

Did manage to finish it on a ele but i found out afterwards that the achievement for finishing the fight within the time limit doesn’t end until the reward screen so lost it due to 2mins of fluff banter and the cinematic…

Same problem, from what I’ve been able to test its is not related to the game but to are accounts so it doesn’t matter what version of the game you uses.

My game completely freezes whenever I discover something, or gain xp in Verdant Brink.
I’m also unable to complete Glider Basics while at the max amount of xp.

Same issues happens on both 32 bit and 64 bit versions for me other areas of the game are fine.

Used to be able to play to med – high setting with about 40 fps now I’m lucky to get on with 25 fps on the lowest settings.

Intel core i7-2670QM 2.2 ghz
GeForce GT 540M
8.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 64 bit

Support still points the blame at the players instead of the game at at least that stayed consistent.

Really Elemental Attunment should have been put in as the master minor traits and have gotten rid of Lingering Elements since that trait does nothing but waste a minor trait slot.

But this is Anet they do stupid on a recurring bases…

Could understand it if BotH was moved the master but moving it to Gm traits leave nothing else worth taking for Adept and Mater traits so your just gonna be picking up fluff traits to get that 1 you really want for the GM

Seems like anet, and a lot of other people, forgot that there are THREE Grandmaster Arcane traits.

It seems you have forgotten that you can only have 1 grand-master 2 of which are a must for using the arcane trait line and with this change it leave nothing worth picking up for the master trait.

I could see it as a blast finisher but would need a cooldown incressed to compensate.

Air 2 not really sure what to do with this, make it a larger ground targeted aoe? or have it work like chain lighting and bounce between people causing blind.

Personal i would rather have Air 3 as a PBAOE would be much more useful

Earth 5 defiantly need a speed up to what it currently is would probably bump up the amount of bleed to 3 or 5 too

Also if gear doesn’t matter why do we level at all or pick up gear at all in PvE…….it does matter whether you want to admit it or not. Gear becomes the soul of your character and when you strip gear off the character in PvP you strip the soul from PvP as well.

You gain level and gear in PvE to do PvE content and by extention WvW, having PvE gear effect PvP would make it less about skill and knowing the classes and simply down to having the “best” gear to win.

Gear is just stats and the PvP amulets give you equal if not better stats for PvP content so i really don’t see the issue. You cant argue that its about your cosmetic look since that is carried over from the PvE gear your wearing.

It’s not just asura with copy n’ pasted face sylvari female have the same face from the previous update copied for the new 3 but just with some barley noticeable (if you zoom right in on there face) freckles.

Personally i would think it better to have all all attunments on a 10 cool-down without having to invest into arcane. They could then change the attunment recharge boost on the arcane line to instead reduce the cool-down on weapons skill up to a maximum of 30%, this would mean that the X alacrity traits in the other line would have to be changed/remove.

And besides for MAYBE fiery greatsword that trait is completely useless.

For any might stacking Ele this trait is taken for use with Lighting Hammer to increase the number of auto attack we can do for the blast finisher in fire fields.

Conjurer is not necessary for FGS as in most case after your done with its rotation the Boss/Mobs you used it on will be dead.

Rabid gear is better overall for a mesmer condition build due to are on crit procs for sharper image and critical infusion traits.

You do however only need 1 torment sigil, your better of using torment and doom on 1 weapon set and doom and energy on the other, this will give you a regular poison and a mini vigor for more clone generation.

.so they messed up warrior and mesmer… my 2 main classses. great

Wrong lol, mesmer is super strong right now with strength runes and a battle sigil. My gs auto attack is scaling from 1k on first cast to 5k on fifth cast. I am currently running the famous 20/20/0/0/30 build. (PvP)

gs damage number that are appearing on screen are bugged and are tallying all your hit together it not actually hitting for 5k.

Anyone trying torment on shatter trait?

Been playing around with a shatter build for WvW capitalizing on stacking torment it seems to do ok agaist the norm but against anyone with heavy condi removal it runs into problems, same as most condi builds i guess.

I guess I’d either go with 2/4/0/4/4 relatively throughout, or 6/4/0/4/0 and then change to 6/4/0/0/4 if it will absolutely make a critical difference. Or should that be the other way round? :/

I’ve never felt so reduced to Portal and Lupicus as a Mesmer before… I’m sure it’s still a viable option, but still…

I’m think the same for the 2/4/0/4/4 being are best option for overall PvE build then when it comes to Lupicus or any other heavy reflect encounter to switch to a 6/4/0/4/0.

0/6/0/4/4 could also work if you feel like you want to uses iduelist instead of iswordsman.

So other then to have a higher crit chance/damage i cant see much other reason to go 30 deep into dueling line less you plan to use a pistol instead of a off-hand sword, the other gm just aren’t worth it PvE wise.

Looked thought the patch notes for mesmer but couldn’t find anything for this but, empowered mantras and harmonious mantras have switched places in the domination / dueling trait lines.

Always got to be something they never bother to mention …

I was under the impression that % don’t effect reflections as the damage is based of the creatures damage however the crit chances/damage on the reflect is determined by your own stats.

The ranger one will simply make one of there grandmaster traits redundant if it is true so what would it be replaced with?

The Mesmer one could be interesting but its depends on the weapons skills your gain but losing your other illusions while it is active undermines the mechanics of the Mesmer. (but if you transform into a illusion does that mean the illusion traits will also effect yourself now?)

I do like the look of the Ele skill but recharging attument means nothing if your skills are still on a 40 second cooldown.

10/20/0/25/15 or 0/30/0/25/15 are the typical meta builds as for weapons its is usually sword/sword + focus but i also keep a spare pistol/great sword handy for when range is needed.

Utilities aren’t set in stone you can and should switch out utilities when needed however feedback should almost always be on your bar if you use the 0/30/0/25/15 then at minimum you need 2 mantas on your bar to make uses of Empowering Mantras.

As for armor and weapons for PvE its berserker’s for everything for your armor you can ether go with ruby orbs which will give a boost to yourself and your phantasms dps or scholar runes to increase your personal dps. ~

For sigils for your weapons i would only recommend using ones that can effect you and your phantasms e.g only direct stat increases such as battle, strength, bloodlust or perception. Sigils that give % do not effect your phantasms.

Right but not a total loss. Do you think it should have same +crit dmg as zerks? It will be close actually since zerk’s will have ferocity as a secondary as well.

The only place i feel we may benefit from ferocity is on the trinket as unlike any other piece of gear (weapons and armor) we have a 2/3 less critical damage already in place, when ferocity hit it may end up being close to similar in terms critical damage (maybe around 3%-5% less speculating tho).

Also i do understand not have completely equal critical damage compared to zerk or any 3 stat gear since celestial give benefit in all stats and for a ele this can be a benefit.
But celestial weapons and armor and going to take a big hit.

This system will also allow for new stat combos with ferocity as a primary stat (although why anyone would go with that, I’m not sure).

I don’t see this helping ele much maybe mesmers to improve there reflects.

Currently celestial armor and weapons are equal in % of critical damage they each have however after the patch ferocity will be equal any other secondary stat on celestial gear meaning that there will be a loss of critical damage there.

Hey mesmers,

For clarification: if you have 0-2 clones out and you dodge, you will summon a clone.

If you have 3 clones out and you dodge, nothing will happen.

Deceptive evasion can still be used to make clone they simply remove the ability to kill your clones by making another clone.
