please remove thief armor. there’s no way they would be able to be stealthy while wearing so much bulky clothing.

also please remove thief healing abilities. they heal too much and it’s not fair because healing.

off-hand pistol. no main-hand, no swap weapon.

you haven’t figured out how to stop the 1 thing they do or bring some condi clear or…? no fair no fair ;__;

dd & bound are fine. all the hot elites are way overpowered if the measure is the base professions. anet will have to manage the powercreep and balance the base professions by bringing them up to par with the hot elites.

pls stop trying to get thief nerfed again and again. there’s too little build diversity already we don’t want less.

even without knowing your build i’d suggest dropping rocket boots for elixer gun. super elixer, healing mist, and acid bomb in healing turret water field could have made a huge difference. then preemptive dodging, perfect playing, acts of g-d, etc etc etc

but yeah, solo roaming as rifle engi in this condi meta is hard as hell. but you know… purity of purpose xD

very hard match for a rifle engi due to targeting/stealth, but sneak gyro immediately, heal up, detection pulse, magnet, prybar, rifle cc rotation. grenades at your feet when they invis… dodgetrops will still eat you up. seek shelter…

they have no kittening idea what they’re doing with engineer. awful. awful

i’m not sure if it was due to the last patch or from having upgraded my macos to “sierra” but my “Free camera” key bind (no matter what i set it to) doesn’t work anymore.

I’m assuming he’s using a mix of Valkyrie/Berserker gear,with his health being increased further by his Worlds WvW bonuses.

Also gonna assume he’s running CS (2:2:1); DA (2:2:3); Trickery (3:1:2), with possibly Scholar runes. With maybe Force/Impact Sigils. He looks like he freshly died, so probably had Bloodlust stacks too.

dusted off my d/d, lightning rod, cele ele that was so fun spent all the gold and time getting durability runes and mussels gnashblade changed a few exo pieces…

but kitten if i can’t kill anything 1v1 (especially condi necros and druid who kite me to death).

have tried both ether vs signet, cleansing vs bloodlust, but feel so underpowered. should i not be roaming alone? does this require a dps buddy?

i also really miss the air line and lightning rod…

this makes me so sad. your dd lightning rod build was some of the most fun i’ve had while wvw roaming in the game.

the play style of other ele weaps i just can’t get into.

actually HoT seems to have declawed most non-elite specs in all classes and it’s a kitten shame.

thanks, all. yeah i’ve tried all the pre hot builds but i’m finding the old builds so slow, under powered, and reflectable, and so much stab that magnet pull + prybar is hardly a thing.

was/am hoping there was something to be done via the scrapper line but still seems like it’ll need a ton of buffs to compete. maybe the SD build would be better if i went more glass. idk.

i tried SD today in ebg… a daredevil just sat there and laughed as i unloaded everything on him. never went below half health. so i reset switched to hammer and murdered him

i’ve had not so great luck with SD builds due to how squishy i had to be to have that burst be really effective but will definitely try it out now with the scrapper line.

yeah i do admit all the reflection is kinda scary but hopefully it can still be done
