So, I’m not sure (I can’t remember) how the new hero points are being distributed but I’m sure we’ll get compensation for it. I’d like 10g per character with it though
Ok so the event you’re describing is most likely Scarlets attack on LA. the attack ended with us killing Scarlet in a giant drill that she was drilling into the planet with. She hit a leyline or some such crap (it really doesn’t matter) and woke up the jungle elder dragon Mordremoth. He’s like Zhaitan but he makes plant zombies instead (not using creatures just plants though). Anyway, we go into the dry top/silverwastes to farm… that’s about it… We attack Mordremoth with the combined firepower of the pact fleet that destroyed Zhaitan. After the pacts first volley of cannonfire Mordremoth wrecks the kitten out of our stuff and we’re screwed. Also it turns out sylvari are pawns of the elder dragon Mordremoth as well! And some of the sylvari have gone evil and what not.
OH YEAH
Rytlock was sucked into the mists and at some point in the expansion he comes out as the first Revenant.
Don’t be so sure. In three years we have yet to get GW2 merchandise beyond a mouse pad or two. Sure there are Tshirts out there you can order but they aren’t officially licensed.
I have the official GW2 dragon shirt (Ingame too). Met the devs at a thing post launch and had them sign my collectors edition and everyone got a shirt! Was pretty cool!
Do people really think that they would build a spec around something if they do not have plans to fix those supposed issues before/at the same time as the spec is release?
If this is so then why haven’t they said anything about changing them? Also, how do you fix a trap? It’s still a trap. You still have to go in lay it down and bait something through it…
By making it a ranged ground-targeted skill?
Don’t Rangers traps become gound targeted by default with the new trait-system? I’d imagine it will be the same for the Dragonhunter. So basically they are now glorified Marks…or other way round.
Do they? If that’s the case it wouldn’t be so bad. Well, depending on range and how long it takes to cast.

Not to thrilled about the name but I honestly don’t care that much.
The thing I’m very concerned about is them revolving around traps. Traps in the game are 90% useless at the moment and honestly someone wielding a longbow shouldn’t be close enough for traps. I don’t want to do a dungeon and rely on traps. I don’t want to do world bosses and have to rely on traps. Traps are boring and completely un-fun. I think it’ll be creating a playstyle that will turn into one boring sequence for every fight.
1. Lay traps
2. Try to pull enemies (Obviously will never work in wvw or pvp, who would follow)
3. Let traps hit enemies.
We don’t yet know all the skills but from just reading that blog post I’m scared. Please Anet, don’t make the focus of this spec be traps! =[

oh god, please no, dont bring this paragon junk back…
They offered already in GW1 absolutely nothing new, what other classes couldn’t have done/ or did even better…
They never fitted into the game really, they had the most boring armor design of all classes…. their gameplay screamed after being wannabe angelic bards that have no place in the lore of this game, because in Tyria exists no heaven nor a hell, so also not angels and devils. Please be more original than this Anet and just don’t recycle old junk…please let it be everything possible, but not paragons >.>
Anthems, Hymns, Arias and such stuff is something for real bards, something, that fits by design also to Bard and not heavy armored wannabe angels. gameplay elements liek them would I expect under the next Mesmer Elite Specialization, because Music and Singing is about INSPIRATION and nothing of that belongs to the Guardian but to the Mesmer…
You know, why compared to this the Chronomancer for the Mesmer is so perfect?
Because,
- its unique
- it fits to the style and theme of the Main Profession it originated from and clearly looks like a Progression and not like a step back to the rotten roots of 250 years ago
- it is no old recycled junk and something from GW1 that got scrapped because it had no place in GW2 due to all of its mechanics being simply mergable into the typical base classes of a game
- it is able to give an already existing gameplay mechanic of an other Class a new twist to let that mechanic work for them differently, but I don’t see the Guardian Elite Spec with Banners working anyhow super differently than Warriors, nor is it very creative to go on that route now to just recycle gameplay mechanics only from other classes to give them in a different way to the Elite Specializations. Would be very lame, when Elite Specialization could be alot more interesting via adding also completely new gameplay elements to the game to make them more unique and fun to experimentate with them something completely new also over that, what we know for now already since 3 years basically.
sigh, just disappointed to see this, absoutely have expected something alot better, than this if this silly paragon prediction becomes true.
Please name it after something, that can be taken as a profession.
Paragon is no profession, its just a noun for being someone, where other people look up to someone and strive to become like this person, because that person is good in something, or did something very well and other people try to become as good in something like that person, so person X is a paragon for them…You know, like parents are naturally paragons for their childs while they grow up, or where your older sister/brother can be a paragon for you, because he/she is very successful in their job and you want to become so successful also too..so you see in your sister/brother being a paragon for you strivign to become same as succesful like her/him
God in heaven, give the elite specializations please proper names and not immersion breaking stuff that is completely out of context.
You know, something like
- Crusader
- Patron
- Warden
- Keeper
- Custodian
Something, that actually sounds, like its a real job, that you have to learn and master like the other professions
/endrant and letting steam off
….I surprisingly feel better now xD
PS: wohoo, I’m not the only one here, who absolutely doesn’t want it to be named Paragon High Five to Seyta
However, Exemplar is just the same, its just another typical English synonym, which exactly means the same like Paragon, so I personalyl would rule Exemplar also out, because its simply out of context for something that should be a profession.
I just wanted to say… HAVE YOU READ THE CLASSES NAME?! GUAAARRRDIANNN. It’s name means “One who guards”. Paragon, “a person or thing viewed as a model of excellence”. Cmon…
EDIT: Custodian is a janitor. I don’t want to be a magical Janitor..

I’ve been calling for new information about HoT for the last month. I for one am OVERJOYED that we’re getting hints. I’m hoping that means certain things are locked in stone (shouts, traps) and that soon we’ll get some kind of reveal for one or more of them.
Seriously, be happy that we got something. They could have just said “Things are way different. Trust us.” and been done with it.
You can actually BUY influence lol. If you don’t want to do that then recruit some into you guild and have them rep it for a while. You can get a bunch of influence that way!
I thought it was cool the first few times but then it got very tedious. I’d be ok with it not returning.
I’d like something to come out of anet in a blog post that was interesting. Since the revenant blog (in which we got very minimal information) I’ve kind of quit thinking about the game. I’m a huge anet fanboy and love this game, but I’m getting bored.
There are no updates in game. I understand they are all working hard to make HoT a reality for us all!…Well at least let us know something about it then? not having anything new to do in game for month after month really sucks. i could deal with that if I was reading new information about what is goin on behind the scenes or what i’m excited about.
The frogs… I understand that Anet probably likes their new frog creation. They look cool. I can’t understand why after not revealing anything to do with PVE in so long the first thing they throw out at us is a blog post about frogs. FROGS. I’ve never read something by them and ended it by saying “ok, so why did I read that?…” except for now.
“You really need to find something else to do with your time!!!” Those kind of people suck. Anet doesn’t want us doing something else with our time. Their livelihoods depend on us spending our time and money in their game. If I leave, why would I come back? I do many other things and play many other games but I really don’t want to leave GW2, but it seems to be getting stagnant. =[
remember that big picture i mentioned . . . .
traits and personal story do effect a New Players Experience . if we are down to semantics it’s time for me to bow out .
Traits aren’t part of the NPE. That was a totally different update. And I realllllly don’t think lvls 60-80 story are all about the NPE. Everything else is the same. Leveling is the same. Skill unlocks are the same. The only difference is once you get past the incredibly boring parts you can hit lvl 60 and get a new mission. Yay..
The announced upcoming NPE changes are strongly indicative that Arenanet IS listning .
Actually they said that the trait system is getting an overhaul. They’ve announced no confirmed changes for the NPE. As far as we know it’ll be the exact same.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Personal-Story-Restoration-update
there was something else as well . i’ll keep an eye out for it . i thought it had to do with traits . it may have been an off hand remark or or a few words acknowledging dis-satisfaction .
TheDaiBish found it while i was typing !
That’s not changing the NPE. That’s fixing what they broke. they are just restoring the story steps that no longer work.
The announced upcoming NPE changes are strongly indicative that Arenanet IS listning .

Seriously though. I highly doubt LoL has new content every day, there is no way that is possible.
100% Agree, I played League for a while, they had bi weekly updates, if that, lately from what my friends have been saying, it’s been more like once a month-ish. So every other week or every month =/= every day. I’m curious what the OP is talking about.
Just about every week day the PBE (Punblic Beta Environment) updates letting us know any and all changes way before they are implemented. Every game of LoL is different. no 2 games are ever the same. The sheer amount of champions in the game makes it that way.
This Weeks News Topic? Worthwhile?

For the 3rd to 4th week we don’t have much of anything. When the announced Guild Wars 2 they announced it when they began development. They -said- they learned their lessons and wouldn’t reveal stuff that wasn’t close to completion. From what I’ve seen though there isn’t a whole lot of things completed. The big selling point of this expansion is the Revenant and Specializations and new stuff to do. From what we’ve seen of the revenant a lot of it is still not decided on. I’m thinking that we won’t be getting any new info about that stuff until reallllly close to release. This does concern me though because I love guild wars and I’m worried that things are going wrong behind the scenes.
Please give Specialization info this week
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Merchant Of Shadows.1526
TBH I feel like they should have held off on announcing the expansion until they had more info to give. I can accept the excuse that a lot of content just isn’t ready to show off yet, but all that leaves myself and many others in the community with is a huge sense of burnout.
Even just a POI talking about the names and concepts behind the specializations would be BEYOND amazing right now. No specifics on mechanics, just the thought process behind the ideas for the specializations. You could even break it down into three POIs or something, picking three specializations for each one of them. Put a week or two between each of these goldmines, do whatever you need to, but we need SOMETHING.
It was amazing of them to give us the info they have about Revenant. That was great. The Stronghold and new borderland stuff was interesting too, but they keep rehashing the same info every week it feels like. When we have to wait an entire week between updates only to find a crappy recap of what’s already been covered, it’s beyond frustrating. You’re tying dynamite to the rails of the hype train.
^ EXACTLY. Hell they brought back so many people with the announcement just to see them leave again because IT’S THE EXACT SAME GAME AS BEFORE WITH A NEW MAP!
I disagree about Venom Thief sucking! It’s actually quite good with traits. Reduced CD, heals per venom stack used, extra venom stacks, life steal per stack used, SHARING venoms with the entire team and having them get all the extra benefits as well!! It’s a blast just not “meta” for pvp or wvw.
Ok as an assassin main from gw1 I have to nitpick this a bit.
Assassin. You define it as: “The Assassin is meant to be played as a hybrid, focusing on condition damage and control while also being able to deal damage to its foes.”
When I think assassin I think super quick kill speed whilst being squishy as all hell. The definition of glass cannon. So yes that bugs me a bit, although it’s not that important.
The skills seem to be…Slow… Why would I want to run as this guy over a normal thief? I can probably do more damage as a thief and the range isn’t that big of a deal because with shadow steps and F1 skill(steal) I can close almost any gap very quickly.
The #3 and 4 skills seem to be close range. While I understand that the “assassin” would need some kind of way to deal with close ranged opponents I don’t think teleporting behind them or pulling yourself to them is a great idea. F1 skill as well. I don’t see why you’d want to teleport to the enemy..
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE your F2-4 skills. They don’t really scream Assassin! but they work well with the other parts of the kit.
Onto traits. I run a venom thief quite often. I love running venomshare in dungeons and world bosses. Your traits don’t really make it seem like you play thief with venoms..
“1point – Venoms also apply poison to the enemy (3sec poison duration 5sec internal cooldown).” I always run the poisoning venom with my build…sooo…yeah…Also I usually stack all my venoms at once so that I get the might stacks from activation, then I use Unload with dual pistols and apply all my venoms at once. With Reduced cooldowns from traits they are up very often. With this trait I’d just get an extra 3 seconds of venom.
“3point – Power Sap blinds the enemy.” Earlier I said I didn’t like the teleporting. This helps!
“5point – Increases damage by 10% while using a venom.” Makes no sense. Does this mean when you have one on your skill bar? When you have one activated? When you hit someone while it’s activated?
“Dry Ice – Adept – When applying, causes aoe chill to enemies within range (2sec duration).” When applying what? Dry Ice? What is that?..
“Venomous Wounds – Adept – Each venom hit does extra amount of damage, can crit).” I assume this means the base damage you deal is increased while a venom is active?
“Pocket Vial Bomb – Master –” Not going to copy it all, It’s a little lengthy. Considering how long the CD is on dodging already I don’t think it needs an internal cooldown, otherwise it’s not bad.
“Bountiful Toxins – Master " I love the F2-4 skills so this is nice!
“Disease – Grandmaster " I find this to be a bit weak but it seems fine!
The elite skill doesn’t seem that fun for me. Yeah maybe it’s got strategic value and makes you think a bit more but it doesn’t seem -fun-.
I’ve tried to compare the current thief venom build in my head to the one you’ve created and I see no upside. The current one does more dmg and applies more conditions than yours does and in a much quicker way. It also allows you to have your same skills as now to get in and out of combat easier. Some of your new profession sounds interesting and some of it is quite entertaining! Overall though I think it’s lacking that specific thing that a lass brings to the table. Thief already has venoms.
I feel the same about a summary of Season 2 (Who needs that when we can just go in an play season 2 again…if you pay attention you don’t need a recap of season 2..) and a devs bio…
Nothing “NEW” regarding the game, what they gave us was useless information just to stall yet again…i’m starting to get a bad feeling…and i’ve been like super excited for quite some time now… But the info is so small and far in between it makes you wonder
agree that this week’s “preview” was lame, but theres not much to wonder about, or left for them to preview. Anet doesn’t (or at least hasn’t during GW2 lifespan) surprise us with unannounced big-ticket features. you already know everything that will be done…just not to what extent….and they aren’t going to reveal the true extent before the expansion is released.
you will get 1 new class and 1 “specialization” per class (which will be the extent of any new skills/traits added) which is mostly on par with GW1 expansions
you’ll get a few new zones (likely far less than a typical expansion)
you’ll get a storymode (less than the base game, but likely more than a LS season).
one new pvp mode/map (though oddly, it seems to be something you can’t specifically choose to play) and a few more reward tracks
one new wvw map
guild halls (this is actually worth wondering about…could add a lot, or not much at all)
precursor crafting/ masteries (lvl 80 horizontal progression) – the masteries seem to be mostly a way to gate content/ slow down the vultures who finish everything in 2 weeks….but we’ll see. could be good, and should certainly take a while to do them all.
adventures (scored/leaderboard quests) – seems like a waste
“challenging group content” – the other thing very much worth wondering about….i’m hoping this is not ONLY open world, but also instanced “raid-like content”…and instanced guild mission “raids”/content tied to guild halls.
all they have left to preview with us is specializations, guild halls, and “challenging group content”….and they have a lot of time left until open betas/release.
They have a lot left to tell us.
Revenant (skills, weps, traits, pretty much everything important)
Mastery tracks
Specifics on just about anything
Etc.
You’ve done a lot of assuming in your post ,which is fine, but what we actually know about the things you’ve listed is slim.

We can go play it, true. But for many new and returning players it is a bit mlre complicated. This article was not for us, it is for those who missed the content for one reason or other. A summary like that has also been requsted multiple times.
I understand what you are saying, and i agree, but maybe a blog post isn’t the way to do that.
We could use a part of the website with the whole history of Tyria, From the Beggining, during Guild Wars 1 and recent events in Guild Wars 2.
Me, my girlfiend and some friends, didn’t get a chance to play Guild Wars 1 (but i’m planing on buying it soon) so we missed on a big part of the story, yes i did read some of the history on the internet, but a interactive page with everything in Chronological order, maybe with some pictures… That would be great, if they want to do some “recap” that’s how they should do it.
Guild Wars 2 has a rich and beautiful history it’s too bad we don’t have an easy acces to it, like many other games offer.
So yeah i’m standing by my point, a 500 words(i know it’s more, i’m just trying to prove a point) blog post about what’s been before doesn’t cut it as “news” and it’s not really the way to make a recap.
Not trying to be mean, ungratefull, offended or anything but it’s how i feel, and what i’d like from them.
Also it wouldn’t be that hard to do something like i suggested.
Very nice post!
I agree 100% that it would be cool to have an on-site history of tyria. I have the special edition walkthrough book thing and it has at the beginning a “Story so far…” thing in it that’s very well done. I was thinking about copying it for people to see onto here. Good idea?
yeah, I feel they shouldn’t have announced the expansion until they were a little closer, I thought Mike O’Brien said something like “after PAX East, things will get going very fast leading up to launch of the xpac”
I think he missed the day where he’s supposed to say “april fools”
since pax east, we got 1 closed beta, new borderlands map info, legendary info(but not really), storytelling/summary of story so far update
the closed beta was info we had already seen, the borderlands map was just adding visuals to what we were already told about it, the legendary info was basically re-stating the legendary crafting is coming(but not really telling us any new legendaries, that’s for another day), and storytelling update which should have never been removed in the first place
Yes ANet is very good at telling us things without telling us things lol.

This is very true. Something like the summary is very nice for returning or new players who’re being thrown into all of this. I think that it should have been released along with something for us veterans though.
Waiting for new content is very hard for me as I want everything RIGHT NOW.
Most people get over that phase when they’re above 10 years old or so.
I appreciate your insulting me when I offer up my current opinion on the state of the game. I’m sure you’ll go far in life.
So this week for news we get: A devs bio, the upcoming POI topic, and a little summary of what we’ve done.
I’m the BIGGEST fanboy for anet. I’ve met the artists and devs in person, own the CE of gw2 along with the CE strategy guide, own multiple posters that are up around my room, have the Guild Wars 2 dragon t-shirt, and have done everything in this game possible without grinding for hours on end.
Waiting for new content is very hard for me as I want everything RIGHT NOW. I was the same way the day they announced guild wars 2. I was super hyped. The hype died but I could content myself with doing new stuff in Guild Wars.
Now with GW2 I’ve gotten to the point where I feel like I’m done. Like I’ve beaten the game. There is no content I haven’t done yet or areas left to explore but I’ve gotten used to that fact and still do everything I can to enjoy the game as much as possible, but I’m tired of waiting for news. The last new news that was really enjoyable to learn about and made me want to talk to my friends who play and go “OMG DID YOU READ THAT blah blah blah!?” was the few revenant skills we got to learn about and then later test in the stress test and I’m ready for new news.
When I log into the game and talk about HoT there is nobody with new info. Nobody has anything new to say. All we can do is speculate, which was fun for a while, but after so much you hear it all. I’ve heard everything from “Thieves will be Snipers” to “Eles are going to dual wield swords”.
With April 1st just past I though for sure SAB would make a come back. You brought back the minis, and it would have been a perfect time to release something new or re release the old worlds at least, but again the opportunity was passed up for something mildly amusing and quite annoying after 15 min. I realize maybe resources weren’t available for SAB right then and there because of HoT, but if that’s the case can we at least get a little more info? Something we can sink our teeth into whilst we wait?
When you consider all we’re getting in the game atm are cosmetics, it feels very incomplete.
18 mins till official April 1st server time. 18 mins till #SABorRiot!
It’s just an airplane mode..
Looks that way.
Dreams were crushed this day…
I’m happy and all but does this mean no SAB?
HEY OP, Don’t forget!
If you die before lvl 5 you’re dead for good. No downed state at all.
The NPE should be a choice. When you start a new character it should ask you in character creation “Are you new to MMO’s like guild wars 2”? and if you say yes then you are opting into the NPE. If you say no it reverts to how it used to be, using weapons to unlock skills and being allowed to do everything you could normally do. Gating content behind level barriers makes leveling a new characterfrom 1-32 the MOST boring thing in the game. I absolutely hate it. That’s why I’m preparing to instant lvl my rev to 80 so I don’t have to deal with the same old crap again and again.

I absolutely do not want Rifle for my Thief. I main my thief and if anything I want something like dual swords or even staff.
Please… Shiro was my favorite NPC in Guild Wars!
Hope he will also get dagger mainhand.
Double dagger heavy armor action yeah.
As daggers are my favorite weapons (in gw1 and 2) I second this! Dual sword and sword dagger is pretty amazing as well!
Have you tried rebooting?
Mine got stuck one time a while back and I rebooted and that fixed it.
I REALLY don’t want to restart because i’m afraid that this file might be huge and I might lose progress on the download….
If the bar hasn’t moved any, it’s not likely that it is downloading.
afaik the bar doesn’t move based on download size, it moves based on files downloaded. So i started with 6 files and 6 files are remaining, so it’s finished 0% of the files
How long has it been on 0%?

It’s stuck, my friend. There are no single files quite THAT large. >.<

The mesmer one is most disappointing so far. Engi, Necro, Ranger get a weapon with at least 5 skills.
Mesmer gets an offhand with 2 skills.
Lame.
Think about it though. It’s a whole new spec! It’s not just 2 offhand skills it’s probably completely different!

2. See above, Yes. I Get that some people would love a shield as mesmer, but think about it thematically. we already have a defensive phantom (Guardian) and about 4 different ways to cloak or ditch aggro, and many defensive skills on weapons already. We need more damage skills. And most likely we’re just going to get an engi-esque shield toss and a defensive clone or a buffing clone….that we already have. Hence, it doesn’t come off as an interesting choice at all as the first big “New” one
I doubt mesmer shield will do what you think it does. The whole point of Mesmer is illusion and misdirection. When Mesmer got greatsword, it wasn’t just a copy of some other class’s greatsword. It was literally the opposite of what other people do with greatswords, requiring as much range as possible. Likewise, shield may be hyper offensive. You’re making assumptions about what the skills will be, and then saying it sucks because those assumptions are boring. In fact, we don’t even know if specialized mesmer will have phantasms, since they claim they are changing the core mechanics a bit in specializations..
Actually OP this guy is right. In the trailer it shows a mesmer with a shield use time magic(?). I’m assuming it will definitely NOT be defensive.

Soooo, expecting them to put a large amount of effort into a paid-for expansion is bad? Especially when it’s the first one and it hardly lives up to the GW1 ones? (Y’know, how some added 2 fully fledged classes with skills and everything?)
I suppose, in the end, Since Day one complaints are -still here- Day one balance issues are -still here- and expecting them to fix any of them is a fool’s errand, that i shouldn’t be suprised.
Maybe they’ll suprise us in the end as info comes out…..But with all the annoying F2P Focused changes that add massive grind to a game they used to say “Won’t make you grind to have fun” i won’t hold my breath.
They are putting effort in the xpac, what you were asking was for them to become inhuman and basically add a whole new freaking game combat-wise, and that takes too much time and resources, y’know, things that they might just not have right now.
There’s was one xpac in gw1 which was eye of the north, nightfall and factions were both campaigns that did not need the base game to run, so with that clarified eotn did not add any new class and HoT will be adding a whole new class with 9 specializations, and no one knows the full scope of every feature being added with the xpac yet so saying it doesn’t live up to some other xpac is just baseless assumption.
The only complaints and balance issues that are still here from day one relate mostly to wvw, tho they did make changes to try things out over there, none seemed to do much aside from the ppk which they hopefully will bring back.
I would love to hear about this massive grind to have fun that you talk about, because i have yet to grind for anything to be able to have fun. But y’know, ppl have different opinions and all…
The “standalone campaigns” were expansion. I don’t care what anyone says. They expanded on the story of Guild Wars and the world it was in. I digress, the one expansion that guild wars had, eotn, included a whole new game’s worth of content. Sure no classes but new skills new areas and of course, new races. If you compare any of the “Standalone Campaigns” to this one, then yes this will seem lacking and kind of lame. Compare it to eotn and you get the same. I’m very excited about the Revenant. I’m very excited about specs (unless thief becomes a sniper…). But honestly beyond that I don’t care about it. I don’t care about being able to glide around a few vertical maps. I don’t care about being able to jump on mushrooms. I don’t care about being about being able to level up a system that is only available in those few vertical maps.
I’m in it for the class options and that’s it. Until we know more I’m going to be very….Wary of the awesome-ness of this xpac.
Maybe you have corrupted files. Try doing a client repair.
That sounds like it would take a long time.. The last few patches for me have been huge. How big was your patch yesterday?
Did you switch the language? That will cause a lot of extra files to download.
No never. Last patch was the same way. Nearly 2 gig download and for her it was less than 150 mbs
(edited by Merchant Of Shadows.1526)
How big is the patch from yesterday? I watched a friend download it and it was 150mbs.
I’ve been downloading it for a while and I’m almost at a gig though and not even 20% done…
I haven’t posted in over a year. I’m usually content to just read and enjoy. However, The fact that the OP did try to talk for everyone doesn’t matter. What he’s saying it true. The characters are defined by ONE thing and one thing only, and that does make for some fairly boring dialogue. OP you have to understand though. The devs are kinda screwed. This is the FIRST episode of season 2. That means that they have to “re-introduce” the characters again by showing important aspects of the characters by not boring the players with to much dialogue. How do you try and show a characters depth in a 30 second dialogue? It’s hard. So yes they did kind of push those things out there and yes maybe it wasn’t the best writing for them but they did what they could at the time. It should get better. It should be more interesting. Give it a month. If I’m wrong then I’m sorry. Feel free to move onto another game. If I’m right come back to the forums and write an apology!
i hate when he’s on my team as an npc. he does NOTHING
Yeah i read this post and i thought that it was insane, but then i went into a dungeon and when the boss got to 25%hp i spammed HS for a quick kill but one hit him 2 out of like 6 times. Not good!
