Hello im looking for a raiding guild!
Atm i have a full ascended viper/sinister engi and full ascended zerk herald and also berserker warrior(ps dps). working to get tempest and chrono.

After 2 years playing almost every class in game i decided to play an engi, at first i was omg this is a bit hard to master but thx to wolfineer’s guide i started to love this profession and il never turn back to other classes. My only regret is why i didnt started with an engi long time ago.

Because theyr main mechanic is “steal”. Thief is more apropiate.
And the part with “violence”: Immagine a thief trying to steal from ur house or ur pocket and u see him “- hey u lil dirty thief stop right there”…..u will get a backstab asap :-)

I had to replace runes of strength over scholar on ascended set…the upgrade extractor just cant be used, and i think no1 is using it

I crafted both for my thief, but tbh i prefer the rapier over bolt…incinerator looks so cool(in my opinion is the most awesome legendary in game)

Engi, elementalist – pvp\wvw
Warrior, mesmer – dungeon/fractals
Guardian- farming
Thef- was my main, but i never use it now
Necro/ranger- world bosses

And as thaddeus sayd, for pvp is crucial to know every class

I think they started to give the rewards, look at the supply

Yeah, lets nerf everything. The loot so far has not been any better than you get elsewhere. At least for me. 522% magic find while running the events, which gave 2 rare items from all the bags collected. Like most other events items dropped are mostly green, blue & white. Good for increasing base magic find.
This was from a 4 hour period.

The magic find is pretty useless in Silverwastes cuz the mobs doesnt drop items so often. Sometime a green, a blue, a rare….the real farm are the crests, the bandit chests and the bonus rewards for completing the events(got 2 exos from that), all stuff that isnt affected by mf.

Whenever people bring up the possibility of non-magical classes using staffs, I like to think of it this way: you don’t have to use a staff for magic, same as you don’t have to use a greatsword for slashing.

The Mesmer’s use of the greatsword shows us that weapons can have vastly different applications and uses. So, as far as staff goes, it’s possible a thief, warrior, or ranger could use it as a melee weapon (as it would in martial arts).

I would be fine if there was a bloodstone dust salvage-o-matic as I have tons of them and no use for them as I am too lazy too level up any crafting profession enough

It eats 50 Bloodstone Dust at a time and gives you a champ bag in return.

You dont get champ bags in return, just normal bags with some junk, chef mats and sometime rares and exos(very rare)

I just tested and cleansing burst ( 2520 heal) doesnt scale with healing power, everything else it does.

Actualy if im not wrong, the healing turret doesnt scale with healing power at all.

Healing turret in almost every part of the game, and if u can land another 2 blasts on it (except the own one) , can heal for ~ 9,2k hp ( ~6,7k hp for your party) + regen

+1, i really hope it will be back, 2 years ago i only could play on my lvl 65 thief…

I have to agree with the incinerator..for me is the only awesome legendary. Dont get me wrong others are not bad, but this shine!

Depend on armor, sometime midnight fire or ice is more black than abyss, abyss sucks on leather armor. U have to preview the colors first

I had a human male guardian, never played him. After finishing the eternity i started to play with and i even turned into a female now because looks more cool. Take ur time make the sunrise, after focus on twilight.

Anyway if u dont like the eternity go for sunrise have better aura else go for twilight for footsteps

The cheapest ascended back is mawdrey, u need 2 weeks in case you dont have the mysterious vine and just a little farm for clusters and geods. I made the ascended one with15g cuz i had to buy the lodestones

Just thinking to an ele or mesmer, or thief charr is freaking me out.

Or do what i do, play a class depending on content:
WvW – guardian or ele
spvp – i like mesmer
Pve – warrior most or everything else can do

In you i would return to gw1, u dont deserve to play this game.

Got the staff for my guard with the ticket i had, and bought the warhorn since fits perfectly with the bolt for my warr, some of the skins are actualy really cool..

Best advice i can give u is to sell the fsp and with the gold u get make some investments, in short time u will be able to buy the scepter.

Eternity is a nice goal to craft, maybe u can craft the juggernaut after.

In the case of dawn/sunrise u will have around 1400g profit if u craft the legendary and sell. But only if u have the precursor already. Remember u need 1500 gold to invest also.

Actualy work even if u transmute the precursor(no need to do so anyway), i remember when i transmuted my twilight by wrong just 5 min before finishing eternity, but it worked even transmuted.
