I also found that the leadership runes are from Dragon Stand or WvW. I have spent three evenings in Dragon Stand and have not witnessed ONE meta event. In DS its always “rally at the bases”. I’ve ran around but only found a very small amount of noxious pods. I now have 49 Crystalline Ore…..need like 600 for the rune set. I have searched online but cannot find a way to get the Proof of Heroics in WvW.
You earn from 2 to 10 Proof of Heroics by ranking up in WvW (GW2 Wiki article on Proof of Heroics).

If you do target something, it will just shoot in their direction, regardless of whether they are actually in range or not. Same thing with GS2. It just takes a bit of practice to know when you are in range of enemies
The quoted reply was 3 days ago, but anyway…
You can easily know if you are in range or not. When you target an enemy and there is a red bar below your skills, you are out of range. If there is no red bar, you are in range.
Bumping back to page 1.
As Talia said, we welcome newcomers and we will be more than happy to help you get accustomed to the universe of Guild Wars 2.
We also have 2 guild-organized raid sessions. One is on a “first-arrived first-in” basis and the other is a static group (may have a few spots open depending on members’ availability).
The payment will pass on the credit card in US dollars. After that, on your statement, the bank/credit card issuer will make the conversion from US dollar to Yen and you will be charged that amount in Yen in order to pay back the bank/credit card issuer.
Since we do not know what you have done, here is a full list: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mastery_point_unlocks Do note that, for the Hero achievements, a mastery point is only awarded the first time you complete the personal story arc for that level.
You can also open your achievements panel, and look for any achievement with the red star in order to gain Tyrian mastery points.
I am not sure about the weekly gold cap, so I will let someone else answer it.
For the other reset times you need, see http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Server_reset
The /roll # chat command (not really an emote) would be useful while doing guild sweepstakes, i.e. /roll 15 becomes [Character] rolls (#) on a (15) sided die.

If you already have the Core game, you are not paying a second time for Core; you are paying to get access to HoT content.
The fact that the Core game is included in HoT is simply a marketing tool to attract potential new players who do not have the game, so that they do not have to pay for the Core game and to pay again for HoT content.
But more importantly, why does it require a target?
Because, before the change, you could spam the skill in order to recharge Astral Force / Celestial Avatar while out of combat.
Guild Wars 1 is comprised of Prophecies (labelled as “Guild Wars” in Steam), Factions and Nightfall. All 3 games are stand-alone game (which ends up being connected). The only GW1 expansion is Eye of the North.
As you mentioned, you own the Trilogy from Steam, therefore you have and own Prophecies (access to Tyria), Factions (access to Cantha) and Nightfall (access to Elona). If you have access to Norns, Charrs and Asuras territory, you would also own Eye of the North.
Personally…. Togonn Windmane during No Refuge (Seeds of Truth) when you have Caithe’s skillbar. Wicked Rodeo / Dodgy Crowd anyone?
You gain a personal reward level when you complete a Fractal at your personal reward level or above (in your case, it would be at level 46 or above).
If you completed level(s) below your personal reward level in order to complete the list, you did not gain a personal reward level, but it did mark the Fractal as completed.
Yeah, it seems to be bugged recently. Last weekend, I was part of a group that killed the Champion Avatar of Balthazar HP in Auric Basin and, shortly after grabbing the HP, I get the message “Due to inactivity, you are no longer participating in the event”. Well, he is dead and I got the event participation/completion reward; how can I “participate” when there is no event?
Gliding is disabled in WvW, there was “No-Fly-Zone” at jumping puzzles, and gliding is not available for those who do not have HoT so I guess it has to stay.
From my personal experience, while going for the Not So Secret diving goggles, I selected the fall-damage reduction trait since it is a “No-Fly-Zone”. It saved me a few times from death when I missed the jumps as I ended up with like 100hp remaining instead of dieing (I was a mesmer so I was able to port back to where I was instead of waypointing and running back to where I was before jumping).
I’ve seen a “Juvenile Delinquent”, but I don’t remember for which pet it was.
From the Durmand Priory headquarter in Lornar’s Pass as well as from the volcano in Mount Maelstrom
Need more details:
- Which storyline were you doing?
- There are many cinematics inside a single storyline – which cinematic was it?
- Where was your character before the cinematic started?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shiverpeak_Mountains
With soaring peaks reaching high into the sky (up over ten-thousand feet above sea level), the ice of the Shiverpeaks never melts, and it snows year round. Because the majority of the lakes and rivers in and around the mountains are frozen most of the time, conventional ships find it impossible to traverse them, though the dwarven sled ships and the kodan sanctuaries can pass over them with ease.
Winding passes, sluggish glaciers, frozen forests, frosted plains, and snow fallen hills make up the majority of the terrain between the mountain peaks, and life can be encountered anywhere.
I finished it last night. Yes, it costs alot to buy the drinks on the TP, but I was lucky to get some good drops while playing the game (few exotics here and there and plenty of rare that I keep in my personal guild bank) as well as materials that I sold on the TP to get the money I needed.
Also, as I don’t spend my gold every time I have it, I had already saved up a nice amount which I used to fund the drinks I needed.
One of my guildmates said last night that, for him, he switched to another character and switched back to his first character and he was able to speak with Scout Acan.
Wiki article on Quip: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Quip
1. Gift of Wood requires 400 Huntsman (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Wood) and Gift of Entertainment requires 400 Armorsmith (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Gift_of_Entertainment).
2. You do not need an ascended pistol for legendary. You need the “Chaos Gun”, which is the precursor for the legendary pistol. (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Chaos_Gun)
Which current ones have those effects?
If im not mistaken, frostfang (coats the arm wielding it in ice) and Incinerator (Flame coils around the arm)
Rodgort also sets your arm on fire (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Rodgort)
You tag up for a guild bounty event to show where the bounty is and then you press “Leave Party” instead of “Leave [squad]”…. Bit awkward to ask for the people to reinvite you in your party…
When you reach level 80, you will have more hero points than what is required to unlock all the skills and traits (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Hero_point)
As for the race, it really depends on your personal choice. It does not have any impact on the performance of your character. The only difference between the races are the “racial skills” (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Racial_skill).
As for the other professions, it depends on your play style / what you like. For me, I prefer to use a ranged/caster character than a melee character.
Toxic Spore Back isn’t a traditional back at all it’s a floating spore that follows you around and thus sets a precedent. Why can’t a legendary Quaggan Backpack simply be a Quaggan that follows you around or a backpack that doubles as a Mini such as a progeny or young skritt riding piggy back on your shoulders.
The current existence of the Golem, Toxic, and that birdcage backpack means that all of these are completely plausible for legendary candidates.
It was tested in our guild (during a roleplay session), having an asura “trying to” climb the back of a charr. The charr was not happy and the asura is now history… May he RIP.
