Yeah, when we say natural hair styles we mean black hair that hasn’t been treated by chemicals and tools to be straight. We mean afros, twists, locs, braids, knots, etc.

Yes! I’d love to see all of these characters come back! Characters from racial personal story missions at all would also be lovely, assuming I didn’t get them killed…
Also some of the Priory/Vigil/Order NPCs. Both of the one I joined and the one my character didn’t join, I’d like to have more interaction with them all.

I like this idea! It could work like the Zaishen Menagerie, maybe. You can unlock them somehow and a little collection of them can appear some wherein the hall (maybe with babies, too!) But they can only be unlocked once so the hall isn’t overridden with them.

YES! Men should get the same variety of options that women have. Men are so covered-up!
I think I was only downed maybe even once, and that probably wouldn’t have happened if NPCs had been helping fight. (A problem I had at numerous times with different NPCs.)
I agree, I’d love to see more variety in body types for the norn. And I like that I’ve seen an increasing amount of conversation on these boards lately about giving male characters the chance to be as sexy as the female characters, both in body shape and in armor choices. That gives me hope.
Also more options with chest hair would be nice, but maybe that’s just me.

Yes! More chubby options please! Please! I know the armor clipping happens even with the bigger body options now, but please! Chubbier options for all races! Please! It would make me so genuinely happy you have no idea. Please please. Please. It would be so wonderful.

YES THIS! Nothing makes me go “Really? Come on!” than seeing an armor that is revealing on women but covers a man completely from the neck down. Is there some cultural reason, especially for the humans, that causes the men to dress so conservatively? From what I’ve seen, most male armors even have something to hide an already well-covered rear.
Male bodies are beautiful, give them armors as revealing as the female armor counterparts, or, really, a lore reason that men are such conservative dressers. It is noticeable.

The first thing I did was go to Lion’s Arch and tame a pig for my ranger. Three years on and that pig and I are still kicking butts together.
I also remember getting so angry trying to do the Sharkmaw jp that I couldn’t even look at it for a few months. Yeah that sucker’s pretty easy now.
I really enjoyed the “I got so drunk I lost a tank” norn story.

Also the one hero point that’s a skritt who has stolen and now wears a dredge mining suit. It is the happiest skritt, and at one point yells “I’m sexy, yes!”

Kormir exists in the game. She is one of the human gods so I think it’s safe to say natural black hair is part of the culture. Not to mention the Ossan Quarter of DR.

Yes, I completely agree with this. My favorite maps in the game are the “if you pause for a moment, you can hear crickets” ones, not the “if you pause for a moment, you’re getting attacked by a pack of 20-foot tall crickets” ones.
Personally, I think there is at least going to be another graveyard of considerable size. And not just because of the cost of war, but because whoever writes all of those monumental inscriptions hasn’t gotten to write any in awhile and is probably itching to do so.

Also agree with people who like their tatts/fur choices that few armors actually let us see. I have a new male norn and I want to show him off.
More variety and everyone will be happy. Never settle for just the standard.
I agree this would be cool, also agree it isn’t likely to happen. It’d be fun to merge joining the Lionguard with helping fix LA. (And then help maintain it after that, dealing with those swashbuckling sea skritt/maybe politic things.)

-Ranger ranger ranger. I’ve been playing GW since… ‘07? Picked a ranger immediately, love taking my pet into battle. I had a warthog in GW1, and having another pig in GW2 made me so completely happy. I realize he’s not a wolf or a bear, but he once beat a karka all on his own, and even participated in an event while I was selling stuff in the TP, so he’s cool by me.
-My biggest accomplishment is finishing NaNo in five days.

Anyway, I’d prefer to see legendary-rarity dyes, myself. (patterns, glows, effects… seems way more fun, to me.)

On a related note, while I appreciate a certain amount of realism in a game, being unable to wear certain armor on my big lady Norns because her rear/thighs stick out through them is a little too real. (And the solution to this is not to have the clothing model thin them down, I see this happen a lot. Quite a few chest pieces cause her to suddenly have a thinner waist.)
I got my “if the game doesn’t have it I’ll throw my computer” pet, but I do still love collecting them. I’d love more.
A) I like the word ‘corpulent.’
B) A human female body without a thigh gap option would be nice. (Though my thick lady Norn’s butt sometimes clips through her armor so this might be more complicated than it feels.)
I completely agree. I would love name natural hairstyles for my human ladies, particularly the one that’s a remake of my Nightfall character. I realize black characters in the game might be able to craft up some hair straightening magic, but not every character is going to want to do that. Especially someone with proud Elonian roots.
Maybe just one follower? Like a bannerman or something? I could go for that.

I hadn’t played the game in nearly a year and a half, and came back to it about a month ago. I am… very pleased. Very, very pleased. I’ve just spent weeks running around, and while I have no intention of paying for the seasons I missed, I love seeing the way the world has changed. I just run around in constant amazement. I like the leveling system on my alts, I LOVE the new daily system, I love earning achievement points, and I continue to love the community. I am depressingly sad at jumping puzzles (kind people still try and help me through the ones I’m “good” at) but I managed to get all of my ornaments because of awesome mesmers, and an awesome guild organized an attack on Teq yesterday so I was finally able to kill him (and earned so many achievement points!)
And I dunno… It’s hard to explain, but I feel like before, part of why I stopped playing was because I just felt like there were things I’d never be able to accomplish in this game. Over the last few weeks I’ve felt like I can do anything. I can only assume it is because of the changes they’ve made.

I admit they got a bit of an eyeroll from me the first time I saw them. It does sometimes feel like there is a flowchart in the world that goes: Can you put breasts on it? Yes → Put breasts on it. Even when it is not necessary to do so. There was a lot of similar discussion about the sylvari design, I believe. It can get a bit beleaguering at times, and is always worthy of discussion. Personally, I was satisfied with the reasoning I read in discussions about the sylvari, and have seen many valid points about the feminine form in the case of the watchknights.
I do also just want to remind people that by no means should this discussion be a love all/hate all. You can like that they are feminine in shape and still dislike the degree to which the design takes that shape. Personally, female warrior robots seem awesome to me. I like the idea of a female monarch with an entourage of female robot warriors. I love the female shape. I’ve been rocking one myself for quite awhile. But I do dislike that the female shape being represented is something even Barbie hasn’t even had for several years now. I dislike the heels. I dislike the waistline.
I don’t feel as though they’ve been “sexualized” because there is a very large difference between being sexualized and merely exhibiting secondary sexual characteristics. There is a line there to be crossed but I don’t feel the watchknights cross that line.
I feel, basically, that my initial eyeroll stemmed from a larger issue in society where breasts of a considerable size and waistline of a less-considerable size and a rump of a considerable shape are seemingly shown everywhere people can conceivably put them. When discussing sex and gender representation, there is no such thing as a single occurrence, you have to consider the representation at large. Yes, the feminine body is beautiful in all of its forms, no, ANet is not alone in appreciating it. I very strongly appreciate the beauty of it. Which is why I’d like to see it a bit better treated.
I did a run I’d never done before and didn’t get the achievement either. Some people say they have luck if they switch characters?
