ProxyDamage : Yes back before healing signet, when skull crack was 2 seconds (3 with sigil) Back when everyone cried that warrior was a “stinking pile of kitten.” There were warriors out there, (and I’m proud to have been one of them) who made the best of the class, and dominated with mace.

Longbow vs Rifle has been a topic debated long and hard. I do not have time to discuss it here. I would concur that longbow is the best option in spvp where people don’t run and you can pretty much stay inside your fire field, however in wvw, small gang fights, rifle is the better choice. That being said I can guarantee you in wvw, Rifle/GS will dominate LB/GS. Fight me and i’ll prove it to you .

Issue with Cleansing Ire was already discussed. Would help if you would read what other people have asked.

In regards to zergs, this is not a zerg build. Zerg vs Zerg I could be half dumb with my dumb up my kitten and still win if my zerg is bigger than the other.

Edit* Also there are things you just gotta figure out on your own. I can’t hold your hand through everything, for instance if you are fighting an enemy with heavy condition, you can always switch Dolyak to Stamina.

Myzaky: Haha I’m glad I almost changed your mind :P But yeah, I like weapons that are at first deemed not useful and making them viable. Mace was great, it was fun being one of the few warrior running it back in the day. But it seems like people caught on to rifle pretty early.

Kabuki: I assume by last stand you mean Balance stance? You bring up a valid point, this build’s weakness is a heavy condition user, melendru + lemongrass only goes so far. However, problem with cleansing ire is the f1 has to hit to work. It’s great for axes, hammers, longbows, swords and maces, but kill shot is hard to land and gs f1 is uh… yeah. Most of the time I rather keep full bar of adrenaline for adrenal health.

edit* oh btw the point of this video is not to show me beating a mesmer, but a helpful guide to new warriors and other classes who are intimidated by mesmer’s unique play style. So don’t think that i’m gonna duel someone and splice up videos of me wining by luck and make you look bad. I will include most if not all the fights I lose.

Plus, I play mesmer too! And most fights I won seems like people have no idea what to do when they’re fighting me. So I thought this would be a good idea.

In the Thief duel how are you keeping target when he stealths? Or are you using a key bind to pick him up really fast?

I don’t keep target, I just attack in the direction that i think he is. I have a thief also, so I kinda know their habits and what they like to do when they stealth. Also if you keep cripple on them, you can pretty much assume they’re not far from where they were last seen. So point your camera at their general direction, and hit tab when they appear to lock on and then punish that prick! :P

UPDATE Help Wanted : Thanks to everyone who watched the video, your kind comments really encouraged me to make another video! For the next video I need the help of 3 charr warriors from Blackgate Server, who will be able to look exactly like me in terms of armor. (Hopefully a some what black charr, I have most of the popular armor sets so we can work something out if you don’t have what I have in my last video.) Hopefully to begin recording by Wednesday. Awesome video. I would probably be tempted to run knights armor with zerker and some cav trinkets though. I think soldiers is just a little too much survivability for me, but that’s something everyone needs to figure out themselves.

Hey! yeah, there are definitely a lot of room for improvement in terms of gear, don’t really have enough time to farm the money for another set. But yeah, would be great if someone could optimize the gear/rune choices

6 Months ago I brought you Mace/GS warrior before the Mace buff. Back when mace was considered the most useless weapon. Now thanks to Crack shot being moved to Adept, I bring you Rifle/GS warrior!

*Access to Crack Shot and Forceful Great Sword (previously you had to choose unless you went 30 in Arms)

*Use of the new Spiked Armor buff (with warrior’s high health pool and only 10 sec cooldown this is the trait to have!)

*Constant damage at distance, great burst from both weapon sets at any range! (No longer do you have to look stupid slicing air while being kited. Maintain damage on running targets and stealth targets with rifle volley. Kill shot for those pesky thieves)

*GS is a warrior’s best friend! (High mobility allows you to pick your fights! Be BOLD as a warrior should, rush into a blob, kill those that deserve to die, and deny your enemy any satisfaction!)

Will this be the new Meta? Will we be able to harvest those oh so sweet tears from the other classes? Let’s hope so!

50% duration is a joke with this many condition removal in game. Also with only 2 damaging conditions, removing bleed stack is trivial. Now if they made every 3 stacks of bleed a different condition, then yes warrior doesn’t need “traits that help conditions”

It appears that all warrior traits that increases damage does not affect condition damage.

For example,

Cull the Weak

Empowered

Desperate Power

Destruction of the Empowered

How does this even make sense?

We have no trait that increases Condition damage, other than the base arms bonuses. And condition warrior is the only set up that stands somewhat of a chance in pvp.

I tried hammer/gs, f1 hammer skill is buggy and cast time is a little slow. Hammer is better in larger fights 6 or more as people don’t have time to pay attention to your cast animation, but as I’ve mentioned the larger the fight, the less you matter. Nothing beats mace/shield in smaller fights though. I may even dare to suggest that Hammer warrior can’t beat mace/shield warrior.

currently Adrenal Health grants 360 hp per 3 seconds, if wiki is to be believed. which seems better than Regeneration 130 + (0.125 * Healing Power) per second. And it is not a boon so it cannot be stripped. If this is true, please do not change Adrenal health to grant regeneration lol. Buff it to 800 hp per 3 seconds maybe

To Haziq.3907: With hammer u won’t have mobility, and damage is a bit low. good for team fights i guess. But if things goes south u won’t be able to run or chase someone down. But try it, let me know if it works out.

To Rooks Zaer.5846: well this build has enough vitality and toughness, don’t really need to be more tank. Could use more damage, so for this specific build I would use VPT over VPT.

I need to work on my timing for mace f1 and gs2 and gs3, my key binding is a bit weird for switching weapons, so at times I get butter finger moments lol. But yah I gotta keep in mind to use gs3 b4 stun is over.
A lot of Great suggestions there, will definitely help this build get better. I might make a short video with the changes. Would totally like some volunteers for some duels!

edit* Saffron Bread!!!! that would go great with no stab on this build and sooo cheap too!

Just a few points from watching your video:

No stability.

You don’t need dogged march with melandru and the food. Mobile strikes is much better than dogged march ,imho , because it is instant removal.

I’d drop the dogged march and use embrace the pain to gurantee your adrenaline is always up every 7 seconds for the mace burst.

I’d drop the arrow reflection since any good player will stop spamming arrows etc once they see the 1st one flying towards them. I don’t think this ability is worth taking till they do the reasonable thing and combine it with shield mastery. Get reactive stability. It is much more valuable than a slotted one -but unfortunately the 90s cool down is just silly-. Smart players -few are around- will make you blow it with a weak cc before using their long one.

Use bolas instead of fear.

I think there might be some confusion. Mobile strike cannot replace dogged as it is not in the same tree. Plus I don’t have food up at all times as I am poor :[ so I’d prob keep dogged march.

But yes good ideas!

Question though, what counts as movement skills? Cause I swear one time i was immobilized and gs 3 did not proc mobile strike.

Pros of the Build: Hight Burst, CC, Decent defense, Reflection, Decent ability to disengage from or chase down enemies.

Cons: low damage unless enemy is stunned. No active condition removers or stun breakers.

Arms: IV (50% crit to stunned foes) and X (Might on GS crit, 20% recharge speed on GS skills)

Defense: II (dogged march) and V (reflect missiles when blocking)

Discipline: (your preference), V (hightened focus), XI (burst mastery)

Gear: PVT with superior runes of Melendru, Bowl of Lemongrass Poultry food(sooo expensive). PVT ascended trinkets.

Weapons: PVT Mace (Superior Sigil of Paralyzation) /Shield (your preference). Zerker Stats exotic Greatsword.

There is a variation to this build with Runes of Lyssa, and going for signet recharge speed. Best to use in spvp due to lack of food buffs.

The problem with challenging content is that it must be followed by increased rewards, the reason people stopped running AC isn’t because it got harder, it’s because the rewards weren’t increased to compensate for it. Why is Grenth always contested on most servers, while there is a huge mob waiting at the Frozen Maw? Because they offer the exact same rewards but one is harder than the other.

Before they even think of adding “even more challenging content”, they first need to have appropriate rewards for doing the already existing content, killing a boss while akitten shouldn’t have the same rewards as doing content that requires coordiantion/cooperation. Sadly, in this game rewards are so messed up that it doesn’t make any sense.

Agreed. Why play professional football if my local league pays the same. Why be a doctor when a Janitor pays the same. Why would anyone work harder for the same reward. I doubt this current system will change, communistic thinking is very prevalent in this game. Ruins competition, thus stale gameplay.

Elitist kitten need to realize that having “privilege” items is killing the game, people quits cuz of that and they don’t realize.

It’s not even elitist, the whole system is based on broken luck. If items were hard to get based on skill level like completing a difficult task than that would be fine. This dumb luck RNG bull, is just disgusting in every way.

Hundred of hours wasted doing dungeons. Started with FoTM, with over 300 fractals completed with 1 warhorn and a trident skin. And now after spending days running MF back to back once again with nothing to show for it. Thank you Anet. I have a better chance at getting loot in 40 man raid all rolling for the same item.

multiple threads are necessary because it is such a popular idea, it is ridiculous that dueling was not available from start. Best way to improve one skills is to test vs another. But of course anet caters towards those who’s feelings are easily hurt, and too lazy to improve their skill but instead whine about how much other classes are more op.

1) It’s too slow
2) It has 4 players, 2 is enough
3) I don’t like to be “forced” to pay for rent when I land on other people’s property
I do like board games but I don’t play with rules in Monopoly that much, because I often forget what games are.

1) Removed memory stick B, still crashes
2) Put in memory stick B, removed A, still crashes
3) Put both memory stick in different slots on Mobo, still crashes.

I already tried reinstalling the game. Was originally on my HHD but its now on my SSD. Both crashes periodically.

Hey, so I have been playing the game for about a month and change. Never had any issues until the past few days. I have not done any windows updates or change anything with my computer. Recently (3-4 days it seems) my game crashes, and the crashes occur more and more frequent. These crashes seem to be trigger almost by any change in screen movement, for example looking at the map, change in direction, opening a tab or even moving. I tried to resolve this issue myself this morning by downloading most up to date drivers, but this has not fix the issue. Please help.
