dhuumfire in the tooltip says on f1 every time your shades attack which is on any f skill you and ur shades strike with 1 torment and 1 burn from dhuumfire. However it only procs the burn on shade and not on you the torment however works.

Dhuumfire is rly bugged, it pulses on f5 only on shade, not on yourself as intended.

Actually with sand savant the dmg output in pvp is redicoulous. Feels like you can oneshot ppl with condis and sustain is also quite fine.

Everything seems to be perfectly fine. Game crashed after some time before like after 30 mins. Today it crashes after one minute everytime i move or enter queue or whatever i try to do.

Changed settings, reinstalled the game nothing helps for me. This problem occured 2 weeks ago no problems before. No problems on other games or actions aswell. Did not change anything on the hardware.

You can use it to enter fights and always use it without a cast time to get away again. Even high mobile classes won t be able to follow you five times through it cause of lacking gapclosers.

the prob is they only need to get to you like twice….. and thats enough to burst down a necro nowdays…

Especialy scourge with its phatetic small ammount of shield they get vs the 20k shroud…

Once you left shroud you had to survive 10 seconds without anything even if you had full lifeorce which is also a rare case.

20 second lasting portal with downtime if traited of 8 seconds is pretty huge mobility if u can use it infinite times granting barrier on top.

I guess transfusion works with desert shroud since it is the only shroud skill with pulses. The interesting thing is if it triggers on uerself aswell or only on allies.

Scourge will be the only profession sharing basically invulns via barrier. If really other invulns get replaced by barrier like stone signet, endure pain and such i see this specialisation really wanted since no one has as much sustain as before.

I used it on settlers with reaper back in the days and it was awesome so with vit as minor stat it would be great along with expertise.

If we really get an desired amulet like condition dmg, healing power, vitality and expertise i can see it work in pvp to be honest. Probably bloodmagic, soulreaping and scourge might be an interesting combo especially when things like transfusion heal urself on a 17 sec cd. So it will give some support, flat dmg reduction of 15% via minor trait and a lot of torment with some burning will do the job anyway. So if you don t need the passive plague signet it can be a really good spec.

There are a lot of advantages that come with scourge in terms of survivability. The problem i see is there will be no support spec at all to heal it besides guard maybe. Barrier is good cause it counters physical and condition damage. You can receive heals through it which is great. I think in 1v1 it can be a rly strong spec in teamfight tho it needs again a good support and probably there is none.

It is absolutely skill based. The only people saying otherwise must be the ones who think they are better than they really are. Look at the leaderboard (in EU at least). Where are all the good players? Yeah, that’s right, they are at the top of the leaderboard. Top 25 in EU contains pretty much entirely the very top tier of people who still play (including myself) who still care enough to go for a good spot on the leaderboard. There is not a single good player who is stuck at a low rating that they should be above. I can guarantee that.

Yes, the fact that you can drop a lot of rating by getting unlucky and it takes a long time to get back DOES NOT MAKE IT A GRIND BASED SYSTEM. It just makes it a system where you have to play regularly to get an accurate rating. if you are better than your rating, you WILL progress eventually. That is 100% certain.

I don’t think so at all. First of all it matters if you go for solo or duo. Second you need to do 120 games. There are many players which could be top 25 or sth. which just have not played enough games. The people that played 120 games could have been higher of course if they really tried to and played more games to go for it. Anyway most good people haven’t played this season or just not enough games to be on leaderboard.

You should really consider casting your shroud 5+4 combo outside the other combo fields and move into the bosses’ hitbox to make sure u get the chilling bolts.

Making lifesteal via traits and leeching bolts etc. leech a percentage of the enemies’ health would make it way better. It would also make some nice changes to the underperforming power necro. On top of that reaper 4 with darkfields would be better and reapers’ onslaught maybe a good pick. I have no clue about a good number here since i’m not the balance team, but they won’t have a clue either. I was thinking about 0.1% of enemy health in pve via leeching bolts and 0.01% via traits maybe. It would solve some issues maybe create some new ones tho i have not thought of yet.

So fire field instead of ice field costs 2k dps if u never hit the icefield. Even this is still more. Considering u can position urself well and hit icefields almost 100% of the time ur argument is crap. On top of that torment will increase dmg on bosses moving and permanent fields boost bone fiend dmg I think ur miscalculating this. The vid from subli was before all the adjustments when farbstoff also ended up at 30.5k dps so dot’t blame him for that.

Actually u hit 100% and duration maxed is only for bleeds. So an increase of condi duration is good for poison, burning and torment here.

It’s better if you use a Sinister helmet and Viper’s backpack instead.

Sadly it is not since sinister helmet and sinister back have same amount of condi dmg. Vipers helmet has more offensive stats than vipers backpack so u stay with vipers helmet and go for sinister back. But i had the same idea :-)

When i did some testings with almost full vipers and malice i hit 30k with realistic buff without the 150 buff from engi. The reason i prefer this over thorns or with agony sigil is simply u often have other fields. So still hitting the same dps or doin even a little more while losing less on other combofields is the reason here. I might do a vid of it once i figured out what the best util is on that one to use and found an engi to do so.

Ye i am probably wrong here. Still i would not like the idea to do 0 condi dmg cause resistance for a few seconds waiting for a nullification proc. Not to mention if the profession with that sigil dies u can t finish the fight. Since Rev is not in the best spot aswell, an option for a mallyx rev is not too bad aswell. Don t know how dps of mallyx rev is tho, probably not that far ahead of necro=more optional variations.

This might be correct. Question is if mes can take all that traits and utility and still provide same amount of allacraty and quickness etc. And taking a third mes therefore might be a bit too much dmg wasted.

mesmer can t strip that much boons and even rev dunno. imagine 5 boons every 7 secs or sth. with prot and resistance, might, fury and quickness beein applied. I think u need to combine them with a necro to get them cleaned easily. Aside from that some bosses should apply conditions so necro can profit from cleansing it for allies and sending back for dps boost. Just ideas but i m not a dev so what do i know.

Thats the problem some people don’t understand maybe they are too young or something and just write some crap to disagree with a bit of buff to necro that we want so they are more viable to play solo like every other classes.

But still the reality is what Shaogin write here. Its the only class that require ele to work. You can play it full solo you can hard try like me but a lot of times it wont be fun to die and run back to get cc locked, pull spammed,knockback, immobilized and other crap and zerged instead of play the game.

Flames posters that disagree…. how ironical.

Think about it this way – ele also requires a team to work. So does a thief. Necro is not only class heavily dependent on the team comp.

Just ignore his postings, he complains on every thread cause he needs buffs himself.

You need an ignore Mr. Duo Q farmer talk again when you get somewhere without duo q you think too much about yourself even tough you are not that good and you have like 2000 rating.

So the young ones attacking me now how nice.

If the game is to hard for u as necro maybe time to reroll. Or quit.

Why even try to take you serious after making a nerf necro damage thread. You want the damage nerfed when almost every class that people play still have better damage burst/condi burst damage with 100% damage avoidance and mobility.

Wrong i queue solo with full ham nec.
Maybe this is the reason i am way higher rated.

The reason is maybe you farmed your way in duo q while i doing full solo q. So dont compare my solo q to your duo q thanks. I don’t care much about ratings till we get fair system where everyone full solo q or 1v1 rankeds then you can show how high are you on ladders without any support.

I did mostly solo aswell, same profession and probably even more offensive build.
