Sadly I doubt ANet will just scrap something they’ve been working on and released, the best we can hope for is probably another rework in around 2 years (hi skyham).

The camera thing, I KINDA see where they were coming from, but it honestly seemed to be the biggest issue for certain people in control of the camera in tourneys and not the players themselves. The part about removing complexity though, i wholeheartedly agree on that, both changes together just dumbed down the map which is not a good thing.

The legend threshold is high enough to be (somewhat) prestigeous, and while of course there’s a difference between plat 1 and plat 3, just like there’s a difference between gold 1 and gold 3, the threshold needs to be put SOMEWHERE and there’ll always be people stuck in the higher ranks of certain division.
As for the relation to top 250 my guess is that in an ideal world where we have much bigger population there wouldn’t even be plats on the leaderboard, just legends. Just look at the difference between EU (legend isn’t enough to hit top100) and NA (legend is top25).
Regardless though, there are already separate rewards for your leaderboard placement, the title is a great idea if only they weren’t so kitten. So agreed on that point, the titles really need to be changed as they’re just tragic right now, and yep, even the most uncreative ‘Top 250’ would probably be better than the current ‘Xxx Legend’.

Or for the very least put the rubies/berries/etc in the mats bank tab…

The arena titles were great, they were easily dinstinguishable from anything else, they had the common part “of the arena”, and then you could also easily tell that “master” is higher rank than “soldier” etc.
Wtf even is “unyielding legend”? Is it better than “merciless legend” or is it even from this season or grinding pips? And how does it connect to “legendary demigod”?

I’m not 100% sure, but if I remember last seasons correctly, it should end daily reset (midnight GMT) on the mon/tues night.

Would be nice to get an official answer tho.

Sure, there are situations where it doesn’t make as much of a difference, but the higher the division, the less players of similar rating queuing, the further away from primetime, etc, it produces the same issues as the old mixed qs did. Obviously less extreme, but they’re still there.

We’re in a better place than we were, the season is really pretty good overall, but I think it’d be better if we just removed the duoq, went back to soloq only, in addition to whatever is being prepared for 5man (I surely hope something is, right?)

It would be fine, it’s especially fine as far as the shoulder skin goes, since that one should be expensive, but it shouldn’t count towards the meta. You shouldn’t be required to spend ~800g to finish the festival meta imo.

Bump up, same as above, took out all my infusions to do this, didn’t work, now I’m not gonna waste gold putting them back in and out waiting till it’s fixed…

And yes, it’s about the rings that dropped before the +5 infusion change.

If you don’t have the coins then you don’t get the weapons, simple. They are rare skins for people who did certain content. The purpose of the vendor is not to make the weapons available for new people, it’s to simply allow people who OWN the coins to MAKE USE of them. I just find it silly that even though I have the coins, I can’t craft the weapon.

Edit: It’s also about the designs which were part of recipe to craft green/yellow weapons and not really the bauble skins, I remember them saying the latter would be available to buy only during certain time (so the first batch of blue skins didn’t return with the second appearance of SAB). The thing about green/yellow ones is that the coins (which you get only for completing 3 tribulation levels) were the main part of getting the skin and if back then i’d buy 1 of each design, today i’d be able to craft the weapon I want…

Edit2: Also worth noting, the first time SAB was gone, it was gone for a few months and not 2 years, so it was easy to assume that even if you hadn’t decided on your Storm Wizard weapon, you could craft it when SAB comes back again. But since this isn’t the case anymore, they could AT LEAST allow people to make the skins that THEY HAVE THE MATS FOR.

Not sure you understood, this wouldn’t make the weapons any less special. The key part of making them was still the coins – I played SAB 2 years ago and finished the tribulation mode to get them. The only thing I didn’t do was to throw them in the mystic forge back then. Now I can’t buy a silly vendor item worth 2 gold. You can’t do anything with the design if you don’t have the coins anyway.

As the title says, we need a vendor that sells the weapon designs to make King Toad/Storm Wizard skins. I finished the tribulation modes back when SAB was available and made a bunch of King Toad Weapons, but since I wasn’t sure which of the yellow weapons I’d use, I held on to my Storm Wizard coins to make one when I decide which one I want (when the SAB and the vendor would come back again…).

2 years later, SAB hasn’t returned and neither has the merchant, and I’m stuck with my 3 Storm Wizard coins, wanting to make the staff, but I only miss the 2 gold vendor design and I can’t buy it.

Since we do have festival vendors still selling rewards if you held on to your festival tokens/etc, it’s not unreasonable to add one for the Moto weapon designs – you still need the SAB coins, which are currently unobtainable, to make those weapons (so you still had to be there when SAB was up to get them). Especially since we don’t know when or if SAB returns.

Beyond the obvious stuff like uncalled for nerfs and curses mess, blood magic in the context of the new trait system is still meh. The support traits are weird at best (the passive nature of the condi pull has been driving me mad as long as plague signet has been in game) and if you try to make 1v1 oriented spec with this line (i’m currently using 2 pts in BM for the nice mark of evasion – soul marks synergy and would like to keep it and add some life siphon on top of that) you end up with an empty GM slot, since you don’t have neither wells on your bar nor a single ally for the 2 other traits to have ANY effect whatsoever. What is that if not bad design.

Just wanted to add this since there is so much more things getting fkd up with this update that the fact that BM still needs reshuffling and a few more not worthless and less situational traits didn’t get much attention on the forums. ESPECIALLY since the new system forces you to take full lines I would expect it to be so. Guess that’s too much for a necro though.

Make any of the new norn hairstyles for humans, please. Especially the one below, it’s probably the best hairstyle in game. All human hairstyles were always boring and very similar to each other in style, it’s either straight boring hair, like at least 6 of them, short hair with a lot of gel or some 5-year-old girl weird stuff. And both times they added new hairstyles, the human ones were huge disappointment, while norn get even more awesome haicuts, even asura have better hair than humans.

I play a human because of lore/armor/camera/height, and i don’t wanna reroll norn, but i really hate the hair options for humans ;_; There’s nothing to choose from. Why can’t we have something like the norn pic below? There was even a human concept art with a similar style.

Also, the famous lost human hairstyle. What happened to it? One of the so few unique hairstyles for humans.

Please give us something along those lines, or some simple TIED hairstyles, like braids and ponytails.

I would pay A LOT of gems to be able to put norn hair on my human. Please ;_;

+1. Each time they add the new minis without uw animations I’m getting more kitten ed. WHY would they think it’s a good idea to make them despawn kitten . EVERYONE just stops using those minis at all. Which is a shame because some of them are super awesome otherwise. So unbelievably stupid and lazy.

I’m crazy about minis, I love so many of them, and the new ones are awesome too <3 The problem is they despawn the second I touch water which is really annoying. It’s a problem with many new minis, which is really a shame, I eventually stop using those ones that can’t swim, cause the constant despawning is very annoying. Please do something about it, even if they don’t have animations underwater it would still be better if they didn’t despawn >.< Pleeeeease.

Look, i’ve been outmanned, stomped, and bored before. In my opinion, nothing beats spawn camping the losing server’s pugs with your organised guild in terms of lowliness. There were guildless people there. Seniors. Baby seals and penguins and pandas… Thing is, we faced far superior servers and lost before, but I never saw TUP for instance spawn camp. I think there should be some no-no’s even if you’re bored to death and this is one of them. If you think differently, which is entirely normal, do move on, nothing to see here.
