One issue we face here on PvP is people are afraid of ranked but too few I think are actually queuing while procrastinating or whatever else. But While you’re on the forums stating an issue or anything constructive, are you queuing also?
Thieves are terrible for AOE give them the benefit of being overpowered in 1 v 1 situations, its a THIEF, a NINJA. That is what the thief does. Its moves quick, get in gets out. Job done. It is supposed to be overpowered in those situations however you have to out think that. Play as a team and coordinate the thief, their instantly dead. Play together rather than on your own and maybe just maybe a thief wont be so hard to down. Spam the thin air around you and you’re bound to get him. Done it so many times… just wait 5 seconds for him to reveal from stealth in down-state. It is too easy at times… seriously…
Lets get off this thief hype and start balancing builds on each class to have effectiveness so you can encourage multiple styles of play!
Well as a mesmer, thief is my hardcounter however I can beat them it just takes a bit of patience and timing. If I kite out his stealth and manage to dodge his backstabs or pull off invulnerability when needed I just need to get in 1 good combo and he’s dead. I however dislike when he dies in that long stealth, everybody runs off and he gets himself up. However a thief needs these mechanics to be effective. Like others have said, you take away what a thief does best and you can essentially just replace him with any other class. A thieve’s ability to roam the map quickly and get in and out of situations is all part of the classes role. I would say nerf the rangers longbow (2) skill before worrying about the thief.
The more I’ve taken to learn my class as mesmer is mostly all I play, no class is hardcountering me. Yes back when I started out as a mesmer I got wrecked but I refrained from coming on the forums and moaning, instead I mastered it and now I can effectively get out of most situations and counter most fights. People could say I’m OP because my instant damage output but yet not everyone can pull it off. When looking at a nooby thief, they spam their backstab steal and I just circle them laughing as its a simple thing to avoid.
Know your class before making any assessments. I do think the thieve’s stealth may need a very little look at but otherwise don’t take away what they’re good at.
My conclusion would be to master your class. MASTER it. Don’t get into the odd situations with a hard counter and kitten why they were able to get you and not what you could have done differently. Everytime I die, it is my fault. It the team is severely loosing then I couldn’t have done anything differently without support. But effectively it is your fault. You have a brain right? If you come across a class you know is going to out do you in a certain way (stealth) then out think him/her. Predict movements. When a thief goes stealth towards me, I wait a few seconds and stealth out until they’re revealed. Most classes have a block/invulnerable skill that they could use in place of stealth. Plenty of ways to get out of situations but its easier to ask arena net to help you so you do better.
I HATED rangers, now I merely drop them in a heartbeat because most that play just pew pew and have no reaction for when I come out of the blue and combo them. Their number 2 skill is overpowered slightly. But all I ask is that you firstly look at all your other possible scenarios before coming out with a problem requiring a nerf. I read a necro can easily counter a thief. This isn’t an imbalance this is a lack of skill on your half. Please focus on the real problems of the game.
Like build diversity.
I play mesmer and this goes for me too, I think clones should be the same colour as the player (red) however phantasms should be a different colour such as blue or any distinct colour
Minions should be blue and pets should be blue. This gives an easier understanding to the player field rather than just miss-clicking and miss targeting in a cluster fight and easier for the spectator to understand what is going on.
People are worrying about Queue times all the time and it limits arena nets possibility to integrate a new alternative. Take a risk!
Premades want to play too. If arena net are not supplying an alternative, ranked and unranked is hardly an option especially if you’re a bunch of premades on TS that are not familiar with PvP all to much would like an option to play unranked. But there is just simply no place for a premade to look for a competitive match or a play for people who want a casual game to go. If we all have access to both game modes how does that restrict casual / hardcore players ultimately. Rank plays no part as wherever you go it’ll will be in the bracket of ranked or unranked.
We NEED a tier system to separate people who are serious to those who are not, so if you are rank 80 you should be playing roughly around them. Currently
Its putting lvl 10 PvPers with lvl 80 PvPers amongst 2 options of play. There is just not a place in game for hardcore premades to go, ranked oh yeah and then it face rolls the solo Q team and people complain. Just simply does not work.
People will play it is all I’m saying. It will teach players how to rotate their builds properly too.
no, the cooldown is not the problem. It does not make sense to port onto other obvious places such as directly onto mid platform on watchtower from the ground on the map battle of kylo.
It can’t work for one and not the other, thieves are my classes hard-counter, things like that should not stop the game from functioning in the name of balance. Some functions have to give certain classes an edge. This mechanic contradicts itself. It works if I stand here, but not here with clear line of sight, same height, even same texture. Wood.
Many other places too.
There is a small community that likes to host 1 V 1 servers, however how brilliant would it be to have a 1 v 1 Colosseum game mode where perhaps you fight up to 10 contestants.
You fight one player then once defeated you move onto the next opponenent. the player defeated is knocked out of the match. You earn points based on each player you kill moving up, maybe a time frame can influence how much points you earn each round.
You may spectate once lost to continue to watch the ongoing matches, but the round is almost continuous until the last player wins/loses.
There may come an issue where some players dominate 1 v 1, but that is how Arena net can also monitor balance.
Moreover players must understand that a player who is ultimately good with his profession is not overpowered however, lets not confuse skill with ease.
Thanks, – Ethereal Phantom

Post some screen shots so Arena net get a better idea on the specific places. It does loose me a battle most times when I attempt to blink and wastes that precious squishy second standing there taking a pounding.
I get this in quite a few places, mostly around the mine on the map forest of the foefire
I have a screen shot of where I can’t access which contracts my ability to teleport onto the watchtower planks from the ground.
Post anymore places you fail to Blink to -
I want to mold myself to a team, so any trials, messages, or website that I could be invited to would be perfect.

I’d like to consider myself master of my class, however I do not use portal but with TS I am willing. I use mantra of resolve for condition cleansing as immobilise can just shut down a mesmer if targetted. I prefer to be a supportive DPS class however I provide boons on team fights.
Have TS and am relatively familiar with callouts, however want to learn a bit more to as I said above mould to a team.
Well, thanks for looking to whoever out their floating around

The respawn time on players need to be increased or the doors /npc stronger as once they are through on all out attack the defenders have no time or space to do anything but defend because the influx of enemies is too much too quick.
My 2 cents anyway
Excuse me. My main is a mesmer an it took me a long time to master that class and be effective. Have you possibly considered that the few mesmers that play are actually just good at their class. If im so good that I can counter most if not all classes does that make me OP? I’m kitten by this comment!
I don’t get rewarded for defending though. If I hold off an enemy team while my team does its job. I get no points, I’m at the bottom of the leader board and have nothing to show for my contribution.
Result: Way to many players are leaving for other promessing MMo’s or games. Yeah players do return when something new comes out. But soon after leaves again due that it does not deliver from all what the hype was about. Sad!
F2P won’t combat people leaving. They need to fix the reasons why people leave not try to add more and more people.
Pvp is still not in a state where I would advertise it to other pvp-fans.
More the merrier.
Just a quick thought as to the problem I faced when defending my lord. After wiping the team off our lord in their offensive attack they were able to regroup before we could even attempt a counter attack. We struggled to make any form of progress without risking loosing our lord simply because the influx of enemies were almost as it felt – never ending.
This meant that the team to zerg the fastest to the lord would put immense pressure almost eliminating any competition. An intense fight would just continuously rage without giving us a chance. Vice versa if I was on the attacking side.
Even for arguments sake we have 4 people fighting off their whole team on lord with 1 man pushing the attack in the other lane, he would be way too slow with the constant pressure on our lord, he would also struggle to make any significant progress on his own.
Increase respawn time
allow to repair gates
extend the map times( and possibly points)
Smater and or stronger AI
Yeah a nice long enduring mode is required. Stronghold ends to quickly. Who ever zergs boss quickest.
Definitely what this game needs, but maybe that will be included with guild halls! Who knows every things a guess!
well the plus to this is, premades will use stronghold as its most fun playing with a team against a team via that game mode. This will make conquest more pug friendly and a place for solo Qs. I personally think its a good thing, maybe more people will form teams and strategies for stronghold and provide competition to those who are seeking it.
I personally believe decision making and build mastery is what makes a good build, If I can master my rotation while up against a bunker guard for example I can out beat them if I play smart, wait out their specific moves that block and cleave when I see the right opportunity an generally keep up the pressure. Same with any class in fact, as a mesmer I’ve have a good 1 v 1 win or loss with most classes. A warrior with too much hp and toughness while hitting like a truck is my only problem, though I don’t see to much of them so it isn’t enough to cause problems .. yet.
I agree and disagree. PvP isn’t dead is just a little stagnant. Not much variety for the casual players. I like the idea of a bigger map and it still 5 v 5 as this requires less of a zerg style of play and more strategical play. Hopefully anyway. I agree a few different modes wont go amiss though.
Yeah I think if stronghold overrides conquest then yeah I don’t see why not, I’d like to see that take over the META. However I feel Arena net over commit to the wrong ideas sometimes, be that conquest. They need to release multiple game modes, e.g 2 v 2 or duelling so they can gauge what the players favour more rather than focusing them on conquest or even stronghold regardless of the response. Hopefully there is more strategies involved requiring more build diversity maybe, and forcing new style of play with this new mode.
Also I’m not against the idea of an in-match reward structure similar to LoL or other MOBAS as it does allow an even deeper layer to the competitive edge and that is always welcome.
It is a risk though as they would have to tweak a few balances, almost a re-haul over the statistical system in order for that to work I think. Imagine a power ranger working up more power buffs, they would quickly earn their way up and begin one shotting from half way up the map lol. So a bit of thought would be required but its an interesting idea none the less.
I struggle with engineers, warriors and guardian as a mesmer. I hardcounter thieves, rangers, elementalists, and pretty much any other class except bunkers. A good engineer can just keep away from me and keep healing… warrior I just don’t see me taking much damage off him worth while, same goes for bunker guards, but I tend to kill guardians more than I do warriors.
Build diversity is the single most deceptive word in MMOs right now. It simply doesn’t exist. If there’s any MMO where build diversity SHOULD exist it’s GW2 and there is none. Why? Because players just play what works the best. That’s why there are maybe 10 total builds people will play in GW2 PvP when there are MILLIONS of possible combinations.
GW2 is a PvE game too, except about 1/4 of the quality of FFXIV. There is also a considerable amount of effort going into improving Wolves’ Den, which is Arena PvP.
A quote from a Famitsu interview:
“Patch 3.1 and 3.2 will see improvements to the Wolves Den system. First, 3.1 will add matching based on points/rating. But there are bigger plans as well, such as season-based ranking that resets with each major patch. The highest ranked players will get special titles and items. Wants to end up with a similar system to LoL. This would probably be in patch 3.2.”
Now here’s the critical difference between when Yoshi P and FFXIV say they’re going to do something and GW2 – when Yoshi P says he’s going to do something it gets done. Arenanet makes promises and doesn’t deliver upon them. This is the “Honest Trailer” motto of GW2 – we talk big, and we deliver small.
Furthermore the class overhaul coming in HW opens up a large number of options that make PvP to be more of a thing, particularly for how Tanks play. Instead of being stuck with PvE specific cooldowns centered around threat generation, Tanks can build to be just like a DPS, which has synergy with PvP more because threat doesn’t exist.
The infrastructure is actually already there for FFXIV to make elite PvP, but, like any big MMO, there are other priorities that come first. But since FFXIV is absolutely swimming in cash and, more importantly, decides how it will spend it (unlike slave developers working for big publishers) this kind of PvP overhaul is possible.
Yes I’ll admit that FFXIV is currently a PvE only deal. But as incredible as FFXIV ARR has been in 2 years, it was just exposition. This is the “WoW Killer” and PvP will be objectively superior to GW2’s by the end of the year.
You know what I can’t fault you on is the developer’s updates. They are adamant on making the game fresh and consistent. They definitely do it better when it comes to updates. However I just prefer this game, I’m more fluid I can make better decisions and play the piano with my keyboard. I am however interested in seeing what FFIV PvP has to offer after HW.
Not sure If I’ll go back to it considering how much I have to make up in content to catch up which is… long. I ain’t got that life anymore which is why I’m a PvPer now. So if they do not offer a PvP system in the same way Guild wars always have an that is a balanced gear system for only PvPers then I will not bother.
This game has Heart of Thorns to impress me if they fail there after 2 months of release I may look elsewhere. I simple do not see them active on this community enough on the PvP side of things anyway. I respect how much they have on their hands with world v world, PvE and PvP so I’ll give them some more time..
and the benefit of the doubt.
I’ve gone through a lot of changes on this guy, he is and will be my only main.
He is my… how should I say, online pet hah!
Anyway, back to playing a superior MMO and letting you guys chew on the reality of the situation XD
My friend I tried and played FFIV and I although I have a love for it, I got bored. Skill was not primary, it was just a memory PvE game, you memorise the strategies the boss uses and communicate it as fast as possible with the team while keeping up META rotations with each class. There was no diversity, it was just DPS doing a rotation as best he could, healer keeping everyone alive and a tank keeping an emnity/damage rotation, all based on gear from dungeons after dungeons… Visually impressive, not AS much as this game though and… solid mechanics but not much skill or build diversity at all. It is a PvE game, and you’re talking in a PvP forum.
Grouch and I were asked to talk about GW2’s competitive program at a local conference and if your interested you can watch here:
Steve
Steve said something along the lines of, “it would be a natural if this game was esports, but it’s not in comparison to LoL, Dota 2, and CSGO.”
This is because Anet has intentionally omitted from GW2 key mechanics in infrastructure of these esports games, the infrastructure that makes these games, and any game, competitive! There’s no leaderboards (no good ones anyway), no ranks to display, no incentive to get better, no leagues to compete in, the list goes on! Anet has purposefully left all of these things out because of fear of badmouthing and griefing, which a lot of people do anyway! I’m sorry but when you have an idea for a game, you should build for that idea! Sure you take the necessary steps to limit the trolling that goes on on the internet, but leaving it out entirely, well what has that route accomplished for GW2? Absolutely nothing! We have all of the negatives, and none of the good stuff! Either that or Anet states that they are working on these things and then years down the road there’s still nothing! Anet refuses to comment on any progress and we are left in the dark wondering to ourselves, “What the heck are we doing still playing this game!”
I had more to say but I forgot so we’ll just leave it at that! Wahoo! Bye frands!
I like that, aggressive but fair and somewhat accurate. I would love to hear a developer on this post alone. That is all I need, no vague idea of what they want but a good long message underlying the problems that this game faces and that players truly want. Take a plunge Arena net, this is a revolution. Change must happen and start by replying to this post!
All the best!
I think that is too specific for the bullet points they presented. Balance is inherent to their goals and is an ongoing consistent process. The game is quite well balanced i’d say. Build diversification hmm perhaps, but I mean with META you’re always going to have a few top tier builds that will compete as opposed to the multiple you can choose from. Also you have Heart of Thorns coming out with a new trait system and class so I’m sure its automatic to assume balance will be incorporated.
There needs to be more accessible ways for casual players I guess like myself to become competitive in-game. not so much the leader boards but more so a tier system that I can earn my way up to so I’m at least in the same bracket as competitive players and can then be noticed or even thought about when looking for a competitive team. Right now, I am not even on the leader boards and who is to say that is what dictates my skill?
You got infracted for writing poo? Lol.
well no.. not poo… the other word that rhymes with sit flinch.
Why do I attract depression? I already got an infraction as I once said the word poo in a negative way avoiding their kitten overlay, however annoying as we are an adult community or so I’d like to believe is understandable. However, If I get banned I will then know where this game stands and where the company stands. I only have good intentions for this game.
But can I not get some constructive help other than hopeless words and Why are you still here if this is a dead zone?
I think the forum administrator or Arena net refrain from speaking on certain posts because they will get flamed and end up creating an argument. They can only post where they know they’re welcomed and not going to be piled.
I would personally like to have a 1 to 1 chat with them in a civilised manner addressing constructive positive points on improvements and their intentions on the game.
I sometimes feel we’re in the dark as we don’t know their way of thinking, their intentions or reasoning. We all have to make up our own ideas as to why certain things do not happen.
But I completely disagree with the notion that they do not care about their community, like I said, they have to avoid getting into debates or arguments as it will only create a zerg of flame towards them which will settle nowhere.
I will be on their side until they push me away as you have to understand I can’t simply just believe you just because you say so, your word is biased to your experience.
My posts will only get erased because all I ever get is negative responses telling to basically give up!
Well someone has to fight for this game. An mmo is just a game without its player base. Maybe im fighting a loosing battle but until arena net tell me to go away or this game is dead ill be here.
Though what i can admit to is i feel like im talking to a diety who I have to BELIEVE in except this company is real yet i have never felt any presence of them. Still i fight on
I keep hearing that the philosophy Arena net hold is what is holding PvP back, that they believe anything to competitive between players will essentially spoil the community and segregate everyone.
*Such things they disagree upon are duelling as this may create bad sportsmanship.
*A real leaderboard as this will again promote the idea of ’ i’m better than you’.
*A real tier system to separate the beginners from the professionals as this will make.. beginners feel left out?
I’m sure there are plenty others but my point being they refrain from throwing everything into PvP because they want players to be nice to each other.
This is in fact true when it comes to PvE as this is where it matters most.
But no matter how you style out PvP it is PLAYER VERSUS PLAYER. The only way to control a players mind so they are behaved is by having a very minute player base which filters out the world of the ‘internet’ As long as there is anonymity with the internet people will be themselves and when they vent they will do so as they please, for right or for wrong.
Remember this Arena net you created WORLD V WORLD, you’ve create world war in an RPG.
The competitive scene is starving and we are in need of a better tier system to differentiate the good players from the bad, the serious from the casual. We need duelling for fun and to give players a place to train 1 v 1 while waiting for a game perhaps.
of course the new game mode stronghold may provide that diverse game mode we’re looking for, I know it got a bad rep to start with partially because it forced players to play unranked but also forced player who didn’t want to try it into ranked so it spoiled it for those. But I believe it was because players just didn’t know what to do most of the time so it was a cluster of headless chickens which is to be expected. Besides the point.
These are good additions to the game, I’m excited for it. But PvP needs to become more aggressive, we need players hungry to beat each other.
P.S maybe an option bar to control the particle effects. As for outsiders the game is very hard to read and just looks like a bunch of colours mashed up on screen.
Manual eagle eye camera points so commentators or spectators have a more accessible visual experience.
Free roam camera also. Couple nip picks that could help pick the game up for by standing viewers.

Supreme i’m with you. I have my troubles with the game but i like to address them with valid points, reasons beyond my own bias, flaws of my reasoning and benefits. It is a shame people are taking this post as a groan. This was well said and very clear. This is an important post as it should make people re evaluate their post on these forums. My worries a lot of the time are unthought out threads with enough following to cause a change (for the worse) and maybe arena net see this and is why they are quite absent for many of the posts because they are aware than the singing QQers are infact a minority spoiling the game for others, albeit this game has its issues they should be sought out in a more respectful way with valid reasonable points both for an against them.
I’m going to up this. + 1
Dont listen to those who tell you to avoid the thief. When you get through the tough learning curve you will of mastered the thief 4 times over than if you started somewhere else. The guy didnt say he struggled playing thief, said he’d been playing 3 months. He had a problem with facing bunker classes. I started really getting into PvP as a mesmer an it was hell starting out now i sometimes feel OP and its like playing piano with the keyboars but i wouldnt have it any different! I use ‘he’ but could be a her, better than saying it however so apolagise if ive got it wrong!
Fighting rangers you need to kite and avoid the first rotation of his shots. Then scare his toughness skill with a bit of burst damage as he takes no damage for around 6 seconds. Then go in for the kill. Their strength is taking you by suprise so always be on the lookout for them. Guardian an warrior im not the best at taking on although i do get quite a bit of success(main is a mesmer) however all i can say for them is applying pressure but its a team game so if theres a class you struggle with which is normal as some classes counter harder than others try find an alternative target or fight until you find support to help take on that specific class. Hope this helps a bit!

Do you HONESTLY believe they do not care about their own game and the people who spend money to play it?
you’ll find a thread here if you dig deep enough of over 2000 of us letting Anet know how much we HATE skyhammer and want it out of the rotation…
ITS STILL IN THE UNRANKED ROTATION.yes, i honestly think they don’t listen and don’t care.
Incorrect. It is in UNRANKED rotation. It is not in RANKED rotation where it matters most, so yes if it was in ranked rotation then it has been changed otherwise that was a rather stupid request in the first place to basically remove it entirely from the game..
This would imply that you’re suggesting that the leaderboards in its current state, means something.
Countless
How so? What has unranked got to do with the leaderboards?
well I just ask map chat for a party if I’m really concerned about anything PvP… that’s all you have to do, put a little work in to get a decent return.
I’ve had way better luck from anet’s “flawed” matchmaking system than I have from mapchat pug teams. It’s hard for people to extract anything useful from the forums because it’s full of bad information.
Its hardly flawed I mean if there are 8 guardians amongst 5 up coming matches, the algorithm can’t create 2 more just to make it balanced, you are going to be chanced with a bad balance from time to time, deal with it or join a PvP guild or look for serious PvPers to join with but don’t sit on the side line and actually complain that you’re with bad teams while solo queuing, you’re literally setting yourself up for that to happen. Also with map chat teams you can ask for specific classes so its a little more balanced except you will communicate more because you’re together before the match begins so win win…
where’s the bad information? Oh wait let me just agree with this players problems and erh yeah that sounds like good information.
People are giving constructive criticism and we all love this game. That’s why we’re taking our time to log in to a forum and give feedback on how to make it better.
No one is slamming arena-net. I believe they are just frustrated that it takes 6 months to a year for small quick fix patches to occur.
I agree, however they cannot simply implement a quick fix unless they know themselves that it is the right thing. What if 100 people make a complaint, however 1000 people who are not on the forums have no problems with it. That 100 people are gonna make a lot of noise that the majority are not fussed about. So they have to really think and kitten what changes are necessary and maybe it does take 6 months to make some minor changes because they can build up. Balances have to be very precise.
So you’re saying don’t blame Anet for ruining the leaderboards and refusing to revert anything they’ve done wrong (which is many things).
Ok.
No its not that I refuse to blame them, I made a previous post about what to improve upon to help the leaderboards and to segregate the noobs from the pros a little easier.
What I’m saying is, almost anything they do is classed as wrong. I can guarantee that the reason the LB changed or any other system for that matter because of QQ then as it stands, people want it back.
They nerfed the turret engineers. I’m now hearing how they need a nerf again. Necros are also on the list now. It just keeps going and all I’m asking is that people take a step back and yes talk about the leaderboards a little more, talk about the things that really do need to change not just things that make you rage because you’re a bad player(not you specifically) but serious changes.
Isn’t this just the custom arena menu with info on who is inside? It cannot be used in place of the queue algorithm because (no matter how flawed people think) it doesn’t take the MMR of the participants into consideration.
Also it forces the player to make the decision to enter the room – this means any new person who isn’t very good has forced themselves onto their team. Letting the automated system and Anet take a lot of the spite people have for being in a team with a new person is a better system than having all that hate fired at the person. Sometimes reducing individual agency is good (reduces the blame they face).
Adding icons to custom arena to say who is inside is fine but it cannot replace our queue system (also I’m not sure its worth the effort). I’d prefer Observer mode to generate the community spirit that the game could use (this was a massive hit in GW1 and really did wonders for the pvp community – twitch is not enough, you can tell from the views).
No it isn’t to replace it, it is to accompany it. So it can find people who are in a queue and possibly add them. Its all theory based so.
Yeah I agree with the observer mode.
well I just ask map chat for a party if I’m really concerned about anything PvP… that’s all you have to do, put a little work in to get a decent return.
You’re complaining that there are more premades?? Oh lord save this community! We’re supposed to ENCOURAGE party play. Sheesh how else is this supposed to get more competitive.
Also, maybe there could be a restriction on 2 classes per server.
I think one problem for hotjoin is of course the queue.
However, if the browser had better options that could create a game faster, queues could speed up and or be nill.
Idea:
* in addition to what is already available, show games that are ready to be played with a 0/10 player join, so players can browse what people are queing, what classes may be needed in addition to those that are waiting in the server queue. once the game is up and running the server eliminates this from the server browser or shows up (full) in case a slot opens up for people to fill the space.
A sever could look like :
Server 041. Ranked. 0 0 0 0 0 0(class symbols awaiting) and how many slots available.
Once maximum slots have been reached the game brings up the map vote and the game begins.
*This would allow to almost eliminate server queues,
*People to know what match-up they’re about to get into
*The game could use an algorithm to split the 10 classes into balanced teams.
To take things further you could even have team based server queues.
So for example;
Server 041. Team A 0 0 0 0 0( profession symbols)Vs Team B 0 0 0 0 0.
So while Team A is waiting, only another team can offer to join their server.
If the game has a team ready via hotjoin it could automatically join them up with the awaiting team on the server list.
*It will give players a little hub to find something straight away and speed up the current match making process.
*it will encourage team building.
Just some ideas, only theory based so be good to here some positive or negative feedback as to why it can or cannot work.
I mostly form a team if I’m ready to sit down and enjoy some PvP. I pimp out my charactor to look the part, master my build on the bots or A.I bosses.
I chat randomly on map chat, explore the internet until the Q pops. There is soo much to do. But if you are queuing then you must always be ready to accept. How is that possible while doing PvE or even WvW, imagine going in a zerg battle and player after player drops out to join the match. You’re essentially saying its ok to just drop out off the SPvP match if you found something more important to do. No I think its fine as it is. Maybe add crafting tables but even then people will get stuck on that
Best other option is to make the PvP browser more viable.
