In one event, many people managed to get precursor items that i had to farm cursed shore for a month STRAIGHT to afford. Anet released the event right at oceanic sleeptime even though they sold the product internationally.

This is the biggest FU given to me by any game ever. As much as i appreciate the amount of content this game has developed, seeing no signs of response from anet regarding this issue of population exclusion, i seriously wonder if the ones leading the dev team have lost their direction, or simply your coy doesnt give a crap about to oceanics(slotting precursor drops into oceanic sleeptime? apparently you never gave a kitten about what u were doing to the excluded population). Oceanics need to be warned about certain exclusionary features of this product you are selling.

I’ve been paying and playing MMOs for over 10 years and i cant remember the last time i got made so furious by an MMO. not because of crappy content, lag or rampant botters… im used to that. But This. A slap by the gaming coy in the face of its oceanic players. Wow.

The idea is that one-time events are bound to miss out one side of the globe. Dont sell a product globally if you are gona do that, or atleast give a warning. OR- atleast make it occur twice.

i was just wondering why would they sell it as an international product then proceed to launch these one time events that obviously would not be able to accommodate players across the globe, cant figure out whats in their head.. or maybe it wasnt meant to be international to begin with?

I wished Anet had a little note on game product that warns potential buyers that even though the game is sold to oceanic regions, however the monthly events occur right in the middle of oceanic sleeptime!
Im guessing people like me, for example, might not have bought the game if i knew this was gona happen. Just a little request to help people make better informed purchases =)

Perhaps guild houses in instanced maps related to the main towns which are non-invasive, along with claimable places in instanced maps related to the open world for those that wish to engage in guild v guild ? Would be a great avenue for a guild to actually feel way more engaging and satisfying.

I spent over a month living in Cursed Shore, after losing lots of gold on mystic forge tryng to get a precursor, i decided to spend a huge chunk of gold i farmed into buying the precursor..

Just when i thought i was one step closer, this charged lodestone inflation came =/…. now i simply refuse to farm, manually farming atleast 300g for the 100lodestones sounds legendary-ridiculous.

Anet is not obliged to protect the interests of resellers and speculators, hopefully they will intervene to make these items reasonably attainable for legit players who do not wan to spam massive amounts of cash just to get the lodestones.

An unproportionate amount of the aesthetically pleasing endgame weapons require charged lodestone, while an ordinary player can barely get even one when farming for a couple of hours or running COE em.

IMO, this is an overlook on the part of the developers, essentially funneling all the money spammers into the same commodity along with the a few select rich(with massive amount of gold from..cough…) speculating to push the prices(with demand supported by money spammers).

Seriously, making legendary now is increasingly a competition of who is willing to spam money and a torture for conventional farmers…/rantend

Rise up to the challenge, not ask for weaker opponents.

I’ve been playing over a month without any issues, but today while exploring the Gendarren Fields, i alt tabbed then for some reason(probably all the programs i was running behind) my computer kinda froze, so i got impatient and turned off the power supply for a quick reboot.

Right after that, i crash ingame within a minute repeatedly AFTER the client’s has completed the file verification process. Seeing that the client was unable to fix the problem itself i decided to delete the entire GW2 folder and redownload everything.

Expecting to download around 16GB of data, my download stopped at around 13GB(i’ve been checking every few minutes). Rebooting the client, it does not prompt for any further downloads! And now, when i click PLAY, it simply crashes,i cant even reach the character selection page. Any ideas what is going on??

I hope we can have a good match thie time, without either side complaining/hurling abuses etc blah blah. Just want to enjoy a good fight, whoever wins or loses just accept it graciously

Instead of being part of the solution and transferring you stay where you are.

So yes, I’ll ask for an incentive for you to transfer or for wvw to balanced out if people don’t bother and are just happy with their easy win.

I suggest you seek out the ‘night’ guilds. I cant do anything on my own. If you are suggesting ‘me’ as the general population of the ‘night’, i refer you back to the solution→ seek out the ‘night’ guilds. Have you even tried?
