Seriously it’s completely useless to craft a legendary if you don’t intend to keep the skin. Even for stats swapping, you better craft 2 or 3 ascended weapons, at least they can have their own sigils and it’s way cheaper…
I hear you mate, but while it’s beneficial to you, multiplied by the thousands of players getting too many rewards, and there runs the risk of not only crashing the market, but also inflation and the ever scary “running out of things to do/collect”.
I don’t think that the thousands of players really care about the market unlike you.

I’ve leveled 13 characters from 1 to 80, done the story 13 times…
I don’t understand the issue with leveling, when i get to 80 its boring and i start a new character… end game is terrible.
Well I’m curious what is your notion of “good endgame”, cause when I see one of your post saying you don’t raid, dungeon, fractals, pvp, www… I’m really curious about what you played in other mmo or maybe you just reached level cap and then toss the game…
Yeah it’s possible to do only HoT HP, got my revenant full elite within one evening only in HoT maps after he got lvl 80.
The only thing that is too much is the cost of ascended gear so stop spitting on dev’s decisions. 2g/days are very welcome for casuals and it’s not like it’s given for free by just logging.
So many people that want the Desert BL to be removed… At least keep it for the server ranked last during the matchup, they will have a chance that people don’t attack their BL while the 2 other maps will have alpine BL.

Also, ley line sparks are supposed to be available from pods and caches, according to wiki. I don’t want to debate which is better when both are valid sources, I want to know why both types didn’t give any of these as rewards.
The wiki may be wrong, as fas as I know, I never got any ley line sparks in Dragon Strand but in the crystallized caches from Tangled Depth and they’re not that rare there.
Each new addition of content adds more and more layers of chaos and multi-tasking, with complete disregard for people with poor internet and/or without super gaming computers.
If I were in the same setup as you, I wouldn’t even bother playing the game and instead playing a solo offline RPG.
Theres two things
1) There needs to be the gold sink – otherwise literally everyone would have every weapon within a few weeks (not feeling so legendary anymore are we?).
Hello gift of fortune ? gift of mastery ? gift of whatever ? I don’t know why people always think that just having the precursor is like having already the legendary.
That’t not the case at all. There’s already a lot of grind behind the 3 other gifts so it would be nice if collection 2 is tuned down a little.

Yes it would if you’re planning to do someday the precursor Ad finitum. You’ll get matrix materials for salvaging your ring.
And so what ? Does that mean that heavy are OP ? I don’t think so.

- I’m with a friend and I can’t put an ad but he can do
- My group is full, someone leaves and nobody can put an ad
- I’m successful in putting an ad but the ad has no text
- I’m successful in putting an ad but the ad has the previous lfg ad.
Seriously, please stop breaking this tool that worked really fine the last months before.
I would like a skill to give up. A lot of times you know that there’s absolutely no chance of rallying when nobody’s arround so it’s useless to struggle.
That’s correct. Ascended weapon chests drop at a pretty decent rate in
fractals, world bosses, and PVP.
Fixed that for you, as far as I know, doing daily fractals and WB I got 0 ascended box so far. 100% of my ascended weapons and armors came from crafting.

It’s a random guess, but probably, the seed value is simply the 4 digits that comes after your account name.
I guess my account is one of the “worst luck” account. I’m always playing with someone who has arround the same playtime as me arround 2 years.
He gots 2 precursors, 5 ascended boxes
I got 0 precursor, 0 ascended box…
I go to Lion’s Arch someone said I looted 7 precursors on mob
I go to Lion’s Arch someone said X guys got 2 precursors at mystic forge in 10 minutes
I go to Lion’s Arch someone said I have a tab full of ascended boxes..
What a sad account I have…

I think this game is not Dark Souls so I want a margin of error that’s why I never go full zerk with professions that haven’t 19k hp or so like war or necro.
I’m currently playing in EU and I’d like to get a licence for a second fixed home server in the NA servers cause I’m always sad to say to my friends sorry I can’t pve with you cause I’m back to the other area and I can’t pay everyday a server transfer.
Like I said I know that it really concerns a minority, that’s why I suggested a gemstore item “unlimited pass” to transfer to the other region restricted to one server (keep the cost interegion). That’s the easiest solution to implement.
Not everybody buys gemstore item right ? So that should limit the number of transfers.
Or why just not put transfers between regions to 0 gem like before but limited to only 1 reference server by region…
I considered buying a second account, but I think it’s ridiculous to pay twice a game.
I created a f2p account, but it’s boring to not have all the stuff, gold and skins collected so far. Doing the same thing again would be a waste of time not invested in the main account.
And what about PvP ? Is there an Anet rules saying the best players or NA must never fight the best players in Europe ? That doesn’t make sense…

I remember that when the game started, the transfers between servers were free, now it’s a thing of the past, mainly for www’s sake. I get it.
But as fas as I know, www leaderbords of NA and EU are clearly separated so…
- because I have friends in EU and NA and I don’t see why must I penalized for transfering server between regions
- because it won’t impact the leaderboards of www that I don’t play much anyway.
I suggest :
1) Every accounts get to have a secondary home server in the other continent
2) or make a gemstore’s item that allows infinite transfer between your home server and the secondary home server on the other region.
3) or updating the “Guesting” functionnality that is more or less useless since megaservers and because it currently doesn’t allow guesting on the other region.
I know this concerns a minority of player, but a minority that has to pay high price by paying gems or choosing not to play with friends from other region.

Their are no raid bosses that currently clear conditions so stacking condition professions with easy dps rotations works in the first wing. A lot of ways A-net can count stacking X class for raids. Make a boss that removes boons, clears conditions or stacks disabling conditions (chill, slow, cripple) every few seconds.
Yeah… Do this and we will be back again to conditions are useless, just go berzerk.
Every profession except revenant. Because I felt like it and it gives xp to my masteries.
Seriously buy some gems and buy the mats with them, take that like a long term investment and ask your family to divide the cost.
I’m doing the crafting because I don’t have +700gold to make rich a lucky guy.
I don’t play to give money to some other person.
The time gated parts are annoying but at leat I have the mats so I still don’t intend to sell my mats to make rich another player and I’ll wait a month.
They are supposed to take legendary effort to aquire, not something everyone gets after playing 2000 hours.
Sure, it’s more legendary if you get it after a few try at the Mystic Toilet while you played less than 100 hours.
Those people who get multiple precursors are usually the ones spending tons on forging them.
Or people who get multiple precursors while killing mobs. Everybody knows at least one guy like that in their friendlist.
I do support taking the rgn out of forging it, but not to make it cheaper and more accessible.
You do realize that getting a precursor is not equals to having a legendary ? People tend to forget that there are 3 gifts of grinding.
I don’t know why people misunderstand that having a precursor equals having a legendary. There is still a lot of mats to grind even if you have the precursor…
At the risk of all the hate I am going to get for this, I am still going to go ahead and say it.
I hope that Anet never puts in a precursor hunts or crafting. The amount of Legendary weapons in game already seems to high. When I used to walk from the bank to the trading post and pass five or six guys all with the same legendary weapons I had to shake my head.
I will admit there is nothing legendary about buying them. But as soon as 80-90% of the population is running around with them it will seem even less legendary.
I am all for them adding different themes or styles to the legendary weapons for those who do not like certain looks, aka the necro and the staff etc.
But it doesn’t need to go from one extreme of there being very few precursors to everyone having one or more just from farming quest.
I really couldn’t care less that everyone can get a legendary. As fas as I’m concerned I play for ME and only ME.

And that’s exactly why you shouldn’t accept precursors at their current prices. You already have to grind a large amount of money for the other gifts.

Well, I’m okay with skipping, it’s part of my gameplay in games with poor rewards.
Why would you kill every mobs in Zelda or Resident Evil ? They don’t give anything, no exp, no loots, so I avoid them so I can advance faster.
Same for GW.
If you want to kill mobs for the sake of killing mobs just go open world I don’t know…
I wouldn’t be surprised if gold sellers owned majority of the precursors. They could remove some or several when they sell it in real money via their site or get the gold when some player buy it on tp.
It doens’t matter to them to sell precursor or gold in real money and if you saw all the gold on their website you can presume that acquiring all the precursors of the market is like spending pocket money to them. Precursors are good for their business.
Ok I’ll check it again, I used to farm platinum node but I don’t remember having seen this one before.

There’s something wrong with people that think it’s normal gameplay to own +1100 gold..
Maybe I’m completely wrong here, but these traits everyone is talking about tied to these temple events, are these the same traits I unlocked with gold the day the patch dropped? I do a lot of sPvP, so I just clicked on them, saw I could unlock them with a piddly some of gold and unlocked them. Are there other traits I’m unaware of that are only unlockable via these events, because even though they said I had to kill some mob from some event, I was still able to unlock them via gold.
Yes they’re the same, the XIII trait.
If you have only 1 character it’s fine, but if you have like me the 8 professions, it becomes 120 gold +100 skill points per character.
I don’t have the gold and don’t have 100 skill points on every char so I go for the events when a guilmate warn.
I gave up unlocking the traits tied to temples when I saw they were perma unlocked.
I’ll just wait for Anet to put them on real fixed schedules.

I don’t see any community destroyed in my server, there was none to begin with. And the chat are more lively from my server point of view. Must have been good beeing in a top tier server.
Megaserver has ruined all sense of community we once had on our servers.
Talk for you and for your server only.
I hardly call community being alone in an empty city.
