it gives you decent armor, health, and regen. But your phantasms have decent crit and have the 25% more damage.
You could also drop Phantasmal strength and pick up deceptive evasion for a little more defense.

yes, I have a PvP engineer at level 2 and a PvE Engineer at level 80. Now I have to play PvP with my PvE Engineer because the PvP Engineer in the mist can not try the new skill.

Worst Reason Ever. So what just take 20 seconds to store the pvp armor in the locker and put it on the other charcter.
Mesmer bunker with the new heal. Use divinity runes and pvt trinket with rampagers jewel. This will give you 40% crit chance with phantasms. either go 0/15/15/25/15 or 0/20/15/15/20
I say no to illusions that dont look like ourselves.
However im all for new phantasms providing more utility.
They have already stated that they like where warrior is at, and that they want the rest of the proffestions to be at this point. However they havent really made the smartest descions in trying to bring other classes to warriors level. Cough…….. elementalists.

Dont know if its been state already, but heres my idea.
You change the current backpacks to a form of some pouch on the front as they were suggesting. However, when you switch to a kit, you retain youre weapon in your hand.
For grenades you will simply throw them with your off hand.
For bombs, you hold your weapon and place the bomb.
For elixirgun and flamethrower, youre weapon either has a greenish glow around it for elixir gun, or has a small flame effect for flamethrower
I know thats its bassicly a pure glass cannon, but being on anvil rock i rarley run into more than 2 or 3 people while roaming.
Anyways, its a hybrid phantasm build with clone death traits built in for more damage.

Mh and Oh dagger: you either throw the dagger as a power based range hand or have it as a close range condition weapon

Pretty sure this guy faced me in pvp, was running a bleed build, with greatsword, pistol, and scepter. LOL

+1, and hopefully it happens soon, getting bored of the current skills
+1 to Sensotix’s Bountiful Interruption Build.
Love the idea and found it fairly effective when trying it out.
The build I came up with was this
I took out diversion and bountiful interruption because if your rolling with a group, more than likely somebodys already stacking might. I took those points and added them to dueling for increased damage from phantasms, and deceptive evasion. Although the clones spawn near you and have to run to the target, I just find that it helps with clone output and survivability. I added to the regen to allies near phantasms, because if your sitting in the back line, its a nice way to keep allies health up before you shatter.
You can leave the scepter if you want. But if you did I would take 5 points out of illusions and trait it so you can get reflects on it.
I swapped out scepter for greatsword as scepter I just feel is lacking in a power build. However you do lose out on focus, but as it wasn’t traited it didn’t provide reflects for your group or anything.

You remove conditions from allies and boons from foes on shatter, along with having reflection from focus and feedback, with added boon and condi removal with null field. As a added bonus your glamour fields apply blind, allowing for your melee buddies to stay alive longer. I added the chill on weapon swap for if your getting melee focused and try to get away and the chill on critical to help slow down targets from a distance.

I would go Mesmer, the skill cap for certain condition builds are high, and others are pretty faceroll. But other than that I personally find them fun as I almost always have to react to what’s going on instead of spamming a rotation over and over again

I would pick Mesmer if I was you. Clones act as a passive defense. They easy access to regen in certain builds and the one melee weapon they have has a evade built into it.
We’re Mesmers … why “move” around the target, when we can teleport? Or … Too bad this game doesn’t have a “slow time” effect, it’d be funnier than HELL to have a weapon/ability that did such a thing.
Teleport around the target sounds like a neat idea for a dagger attack chain

How much would it cost to level a character from 1- 80
Recently playing my favorite professions have become a little stale. I’m using the same 5- 15 skills almost all the time. A year after release it feels like the perfect time to introduce some new weapons.
Also I really want a dagger Mesmer.
Just wondering how much would it cost to level a charcter from 0- 80

I would make the trait like this
EMPOWERED CHANNELING
Whenever you critcally hit ( any attunement ) gain their most recent boon and re apply their previous condition.
I hope you personally made this up because it sounds horrible. Why would I want to steal somebody’s condition as a non-necro? And there have already been too many attempts to make air crit builds a thing, but they still suck because they get blown away by a slight breeze and have terrible active defense/escape compared to thief and mesmer.
If you copied a poison/torment condition they have and they have it on you for example, it will go by your condition damage and not theirs.
oh this changes my perspective, thought it reapplied the condition they previously had. That would allow for some actual condition builds as you don’t need to stay in fire and earth

How about we nerf perplexity runes, and buff Mesmer’s confusion. It is a Mesmer condition after all.
What annoys me the most though is the cooldown of churning earth and fire grab. It’s ridiculous.
Everyone knows that for the most part eles are completely unviable right now. I think a lot of this has to do with our weapon cooldowns. I know some of you are thinking, but that’s why we have twenty skills. However all the other classes have burst, mobility, and cc skills far below our current cooldowns. I think reducing these could bring back the ele as well as making newer builds possible
I think eles need a cooldown reduction on ride the lightning and high damaging skills( such as fire grab, churning earth). That way the low health compensates for high damage and high mobility.
I would love a shortbow too, or a rifle could be interesting
