Just curious about whether the offer of veteran players getting a free character slot for prepurchasing HoT expansion was still a thing.

Ah thanks for the answer that is unfortunate I was hoping I would be able to give the core game away now I’ll just wait and see if pricing changes for an expansion only one or not.

Just wondering how it is going to be when I get it digitally will I actually get 2 seperate codes one for the HoT expansion and one for the core game or is it a single code.

Sorry if this is already somewhere else but I didn’t want to look through all the complaint topics to try and find my answer.

For the most part my only problem with the assault knights is the reflect conditions buff they have and the fact that they didn’t include a mechanic with which to remove the buff . This buff is the only thing that is making it so you really need around 30+ people to do the event add some way to remove the buff and or just in the future add something like that. Could’ve had the knights standing in the colored area build up stacks until it reached a certain point and removed the debuff.

His first sentence Isn’t exactly false every new living story is taken as an opportunity to roll out more gem store items while offering usually fewer new items to be obtained outside of buying gems whether you buy them with gold/cash. Also it usually does seem like the new gem items get more love than the new non-gem items

Anchoku you know the holograms are kinda like that the ones after the prime hologram splits. Blue is weak to condi, green reflects, and well red is nothing special at all but if they gave red a constant burning aura or periodic close range burst they could try to force people to target certain ones but that is still nothing more than having 3 different dps checks just 1 would be condi dps check.

Concept of LS 9/10 giving it a 9 cause that means less focus or plans to do a true expansion.

As a whole I’d have to say 6.5/10 some are good some are bad and lots of them could’ve been a lot better most likely if they had more time to work on them. As a form of story telling I’m not too sure how good it is. With the ending of this latest one I’m looking forward to the next so that’s good.

More personal story would probably mean expansions which I’m all for. Also to fight more elder dragons would be great cause that means exploring more of the world.

All for greater stacks than 250 I have a storage character holding all my extra 250 stacks xD…

One of the biggest things I would want from guild hall would definitely have to be customizing it visually although the more it can do the better and more stuff to work for guild halls should definitely have some vanity aspects to them to strive to get.

Because guild halls would most likely be customizable and if done right could have lots of advantages event wise over a random place also most likely guild halls would be free/easy to get to would probably be like the Hall of Monuments is where you just use a portal stone and can then exit back to where you were originally before using the stone.

1 – Would like to be able to get the armors from each order. Same as with cultural armor what was the point of unifying all the orders and all races to take down the dragon if you can’t even borrow their clothing style….

2 – Always nice having LA ports wherever you go xD

5- It does suck how it is right now such a trouble to get to your home you have to sit through 1 load screen after paying money and then another to get into your home instance then you exit sit through another load screen to get into the city then another load screen to go wherever you are heading to next.

Scarlet was revealed way too early as the evil villain if they were going to make this many living stories about her then it should’ve been done in a much bigger way.

I’d have to agree with anyone who thinks arena net is making a bad choice in not making community and connectivity a priority.

Definitely wouldn’t mind more character customization upon creation but most likely if they ever did put out something close it would be locked until you buy an item in gem store with either tons of gold or real money :P

Honestly why is it that the girls make up and scars on guys is tied to the face you choose instead of its own thing it sucks xD

Personal story should definitely be repeatable just like you could replay missions in guild wars 1. I’d imagine if they put it in would be under the personal story tab and you scroll through it and can click to relive it. Loved hard mode always great to be able to up the difficulty for a bigger challange. Also really liked the bonus objectives of the story missions in GW1.

Guild achievements
I’d say no this. It’s purely another huge disadvantage for small guilds that don’t have all the missions. It’s hard to run small active guild anyway, since everyone wants to do the missions, and with few people it takes a long long time to unlock them. Giving achievements to guild missions would make it even harder, and would definitely kill several small guilds.

I like the idea of guild achievements as for small guilds it’s true that missions and this might be lot tougher for small guilds to get into but that doesn’t really mean it shouldn’t be put in.

As for the problems small guilds have to face would be nice if they also put in a guild alliance system and if they put in achievements specific to missions it would provide more motivation for cooperation or if you could just do alliance events that uses up an event on both guilds but they each get full rewareds both guild and personal for completion. This way you can keep the community and closeness of your small guild while being able to actually do guild missions.

Usually it seems like 2 living story activites at most are active so I’m guessing the next living story will get rid of the current ones.

LS should be a bridge to close the gaps between expansions. Expansions should focus on the Dragons and other existing lore. That’s my ideal situation anyway.

Couldn’t agree more living story seems like a good thing for exploring lore and battling lesser evils the real baddies should definitely be dealt with in an expansion and after the first dragon down I would imagine we’d deal with more than one dragon in an expansion I mean now that we got some elder dragon slaying experiance. I am always looking for new land to explore new enemies to kill new styles of architecture and weapons especially if it is in cantha xD.

I assume parts of it are gonna be time locked

Well isn’t pink itself a shade of red and all shades of pink are a shade of red ya xD? I didn’t much care for the last update for sylvari hairstyles they looked better from a distance :P

Also green and don’t have to make all hairs super bright wouldn’t mind a dark purple seriously you got a good variety of blue but purple just has the 2.

- Guild farm sorta like the stuff they are giving in living story for our home instances right now. Not sure unlock method but definitely would have to be limited as to how much you can have and take effort to get cause lets face it if possible everyone would start growing ancient wood or orichalcum. Maybe completing a series of events for them or just needing to donate a certain amount of that material and then you get a permanent node of it.

Completely forgot about this idea ya it has bugged me not having a last logged info but no need for that to wait til guild halls give us that now along with guild wide mail.

Can’t tell of garrisyl is being sarcastic I feel like he is xD besides fire elemental doesn’t take too long and he can actually kill some people now maw on the other hand he’s just a wimp with lots of hp.

That’s how guild wars 1 stories were but gw1 is a different game and really I’d have to say I prefer the way they told the story much better in it especially since this way I can’t go replay my favorite scenes and the lack of bonus objectives.

Duels are fine and could be a fun time killer while waiting on afk people and stuff but do try to keep the requests to a single page seriously how many other duel request pages are out there

I like this idea, I’ve actually been playing diablo on the 360 with my friend only on inferno right now playing monk and he’s playing wizard.

All I’ve wanted from weapon skills is the ability to unlock more would be nice if your mastery over a weapon took more than well no idea how long it takes from start to finish but it isn’t long at all I know that.

An amazing improvement I would hope this gets a facelift like this and if they do I think you deserve some compensation

Would be nice of mini’s had something to do besides sit in your bank. I like the idea of using them for polymock styled game or maybe even be able to put them on display and have them roaming around your home instance aaah so many of those kitten mini’s from the orrian jewelry box running around all hideous looking

Anything you pay gems for would be nice to atleast be account bound and while I wouldn’t give a kitten if soul bound took a hike I doubt that will happen and would instead settle for an item able to be purchased NOT for GEMS that can remove the bound state so it can be sold, gifted, or traded and for that matter arena net put in trading or would the entire economy collapse if people were able to avoid the trading post taxes if they wanted without fear of being scammed.

I’m just not a big fan of faces being preset instead of picking the eyes you want and the lips and bone structure and sometimes scars you are left the presets and while you can tweak those presets to some degree it would be so much better to just have more control.

Not just forever but I’m pretty sure I read a post on this earlier today I’m all for permanent unlocking of gem store stuff after purchase I just doubt it will ever happen.
