That being said though, it’s quite possible this wasn’t a hack. The increased move speed from the Signet of Air is on the lower end of movement speed buffs. It’s only a 25% increase whereas Swiftness is a 33% increase. It’s not uncommon for Guardian Commanders to wield a staff and just spam Swiftness on themselves.

Not by this much, I also play a guardian at most times and there is no way this is normal speed. This one was taking 4 or 5 steps for every 1 step I took with Windborne Speed on. It seemed to be micro-jumping with each step.

I was in eotm today (nothing going on in normal wvw at that time). The commander was a guardian who was consistently running double the speed of everyone, even my elementalist with signet of air. I tested and teleported to him and used Windborne Speed and he still outran me by at least 90 percent. How do you even report this?

If you give them a lot of rares they will get many precursors Ask your friends to give rares to you and you will be the lucky one who gets precursors.

I wish that were so, I forge and throw a great deal of rares into the forge. I am not without luck, I have gotten 2 pre’s from the forge, but that is with far greater effort and cost. But others just throw in anything anytime and get a pre. But anyway, am off, have a great day.

No I am not, I just dont know if luck is the proper word considering I think it is poor loot generator. But they are lucky in that their accounts ended up with the endless loot.

If an RNG system is working, there will be outliers on both sides of the spectrum. Meaning there will be really lucky people and really unlucky people. Nothing in the accounts makes your account lucky or unlucky. Just sheer dumb luck on which one you fall into.

If the system was NOT as random as it is, there wouldn’t be outliers like your guildmates.

Seriously, do some research into statistics and randomness.

And remember, humans can perceive patterns where none exist and we can perceive randomness as not random. Why else would Apple make their shuffle less random? You’d think that would be counter-intuitive. But true random shuffle was perceived as not as random as it could be due to human nature.

Yes we are impressed with your knowledge of statistics…but that being said, it does not prove their system is not flawed. So, a full month of being matched against a server that outnumbers us 4 to 1 and uses siege at every fight…Anet, you guys are the absolute worst in the gaming industry at WvW-RvR fights and matchups.

I play mostly for WvW, which is pure crap at the moment. So I would put this game near the bottom of a long list..

Female player, I only play as Asura. I am really an Asura trapped in a humans body! Asura are just too cute not to play. Excelsior.

I didn’t like wings at first either(though never wanted them gone), until I bought them. Now I love them. But I can’t see any justification for removing them, they aren’t offensive and they are no more an impairment to vision than some big norn or charr standing on you (bookahs, pft). Now give me my bunny ears so can be an angel bunny’sura, that should drive even more people nutsies.

Crimson, my comment of erp’ing comes from the many posts made on this subject in the other threads wanting revealing armour. It is not so much the armour in and of itself, but the reason many want it (not all). It was only my opinion, I respect others opinion and was naive enough to expect the same. For my part I dont care if they add it or not really, I only care that they add my bunny ears!

No the new gear is made via crafting after finding the books and buying the insignia recipes, you wont get them in your map chests.

I’d be careful using yolomouse as it may be a breach of the ToS. It’s a third party program that alters game files in that it redirects the cursor on screen print function to itself.

Might be worthwhile posting a question on Reddit to see if a Dev responds with a clear answer?

Their site at yolo says it does not alter game files. But yes, always best to be careful.

I am not fully sure of what you are asking. But can say this, the HoT zones are not part of the 100 percent map completion and have their own completion rewards, so I doubt anything will change.

Just start as an Asura and never have this problem

When I see things like this, it makes me think that some people are actually afraid of seeing a guy wearing something that flashes some skin, like they are threatened by it or something.

I did say I was surprised they had 12 rating with some of the female outfits. Read the entire comment. I am not threatened by anything, I just don’t think a game like this is the proper place for things like this.

This is not fun. Trying to get an event done simply to see content (my husband has a druid and has been trying for awhile now to get to certain areas that contain 2 pets) is anything but fun. I can’t even count the numerous failed events or empty maps.. or folks afk’ing at the front of the carnage entrance while watching others run in that endless circle taking down those darn Preservers like it was GW2 Groundhog Day, just enhancing the difficulty of the event.

You need to use the LFG tool for dragon stand, people taxi in to fill the map at the start of every event (every few hours)

The WvW revamp needs to come sooner rather than later. With the current matching system and everyone queuing ebg, it has lost its luster and enjoyment. I am not ready to abandon ship as my love for Asura is too strong, but more and more I log on and never leave Lions Arch. That can’t go on forever. PVE-wise, I love HoT zones alot though the reward for time and effort is non existent. Absolutely stunning artwork though.

I will add another just because I don’t want this thread to fade away. I love seeing everyone’s Asura as they are all so beautiful to me. This is one of my little ones (golden hair with rose) with some of her ’sura friends on a lazy day in LA. A dance party is sure to break out anytime.

I love my cutie’sura. I have nothing but Asura and they are camera hams so I have hundreds of screenies. The six sisters mostly look alike with some slight variations.

Server matchups are a joke. I wouldn’t come back just for WvW at this point.

No, this is horrid. Stop trying to turn an mmorpg into soft alternative porn. The skimpy feminine armour is stupid enough, like we women would go into battle in high heals and a teddy. Take your erp’ing elsewhere.

Druid and Reaper. Druid can solo almost all content (minus a few hp due to mechanics), Reaper so much fun and never has to worry about dying to pve.

I learned that when you kill a revenant, do it at range, dont stomp. Their downed state dps is painful. But they still die

I did it several times with a group and never got the achievement. But when a friend and I went in alone and made sure to each target the same mob, we both got it. I think you need credit for each mob death.

I do not like mastery points locked behind adventures which are insulting and idiotic. I have issues with raid timers forcing zerk gear on people even though they released such nice new gear stats. Other than those two things I love HoT. The maps are fun and engaging, the events also fun. The new class specializations are way cool and all my Baby’sura are very happy with their new skills. Overall I give HoT 7/10. Fix raid timers, remove mastery from silly mario style adventures and it goes to 10/10.

Oh they are a pain, but they are soo cool. The jungles a dangerous place, don’t step on the raptors and you won’t get bit! You can mostly avoid them if you don’t like them. I for one love their movement.

Well I don’t think it will be a game killer, but they sure will lose alot of players and revenue. I love to raid and have been successful but many in our guild are disappearing because of raids (the timer and build-profession requirements). But at this stage there are many options available to them, like difficulty levels and such.

They add all of these new stat sets to the game, then not only force people to use zerker for raids because of the timer, but also force certain classes as well. So you are a zerk dps or condi engineer, other than that bugger off…Remove the timer and let people form groups with whom they wish. The mechanics are fun and challenging enough without timer. At the very least make the time limit doable for more class-build combos.

One of our guildmates has Dreamer, annoying our guild leader during wvw events with it is his favorite thing in the game. I have to turn off all sounds myself as can’t stand that thing.

I finally got thru enough of those to finish mastery, but not one second of them was fun (well, drone race fun I guess). Making content difficult is one thing, but it should at least be fun. Very poor design Anet.

Mini games are farely easy to get a bronze on. Any way they are a good way of getting cool rewards and also they are not the only way to get mastery points. There are many ways.

No there isn’t. You have no choice but to do adventures to get max mastery.

Adventures and having to do them for mastery is worst thing ever in an mmo. I didnt like mario adventures when I was younger playing on nintendo, I dont like them now in HoT. This timed mushroom jumping nonsense, wth.

Actually, most of them are open most of the time. AB and TD ones are only closed during the final meta event.

And yet they were closed when I went to do them..seems silly to tell me they are usually open when clearly they are not. They also are not only closed during meta, they remain closed until the next meta stage progresses.
