Not much of legendaries, but using storm bow and fractal weapons(except gs ofc is awful).
Other than that i believe Chuka+Champawat is the best one, and also as stated above, the hunting them is very well fitted into ranger.

Tested in 2 matches.

fractals/WvW only and sometimes in dungeons depends on path..

Armor wise i personally go for the pvp legendary since i have the ascended one(which can converted to legedary), and need only to follow seasons when they re up for collecting tickets and nothing else.
I m not on a hurry, so i just playing one chest per day.
All remaining playtime goes to pve/fractals/gathering or whatever.
Yes ,is in time depth target, but at least is easy and enjoyable…
About weapons i dont really care so much as i have them all asc

-Fractals and dungeons.
-Daily pvp
-Gathering route at daily basis and when they stack sell at tp. Takes a little bit of time but is a sure profit.
IMO play the game and enjoy it and try to get a set of asc armor first to be able to do some higher level fracts.
-Map completion(yes its profitable)

And the most importand. Dont have bad spend habbits, and i m not saying not enjoying the game, but to give more weight to gear at first place(1 character|)and then to aesthetics.
If you give weight to aesthetics 1st you ll have a hard time saving gold.

Don’t pick Kyhlo. This map has some serious problems right now. Anet is aware of the issue, but probably won’t fix the map until POF launch.

Had a Thief getting stuck twice today in one match. (Still won lol)

If you get knocked on clocktower you may end up trapped in a wall.

Disabling the map for ranked would be nice.

Btw. this is nothing new, since it can happen on other maps too, but Kyhlo is the worst offender right now.

3 times in that clocktower….3 kitten times either with lighting reflexes or staff 3 with my druid.

No, that’s not stacks. If it were, you are saying a single burn stack ticked for over 1.8k.

That is seconds of burning, not individual stacks.

well.
Maybe i m missing the timeline thats fine with me.
But certainly, while i m not the perfect player, i m not so noob also.
It took almost a second from the moment this guard was at line of sight to get me to downstate.
Dunno.
Maybe is my fault or something, but i really tend to survive a 3 person rage usally(bunker druid and that means low retaliation cause of low dmg output), when i m trying to keep my point.

well….i dont know if i was burned for 42 seconds with all those cleanses that i have but i had clearly full hp and the one hit and downstate…anyway

Happens to me twice. Basically my whole team was lagging for about 30 secs then calm for a mi ute and then lag again.

The CD on enter/exit beastmode have no purpose outside of breaking any kind of fluidity. It’s a good idea, merge the 10 sec Cd with Unstoppable Union, a little price to pay if you want a breakstun. The base CD have to be removed.

We need a pet swap on BM or no cd at all.

Meanwhile, deadeye needs to sit around waiting 10-21s for an attempt at a couple of single target shots with large tell so you can reflect it back into their face.

It’s not like you can spam reflection every few seconds except for firebrand’s tome of courage, but even then the guard is locked on a tome and waits for a shot that a deadeye can throw at any second from a distance. Reflection of the said shot would purely base on the target’s luck to somehow throw a reflect/projectile hate and deadeye’s inconvenience to pull the trigger at the same moment.

But for real… with all the melee burst that flies around on top of area denial skills (spellbreaker, scourge) devs, while making firebrand, didn’t really thought about that fact that FB will be shutdown for most of the time in a fight or just focused down due to lack of any form of mobility or strong damage mitigation. For example barriers, geee why don’t we have any barriers?! This sounds like a core ability, the essence of a GUARDIAN – BARRIER come on! It is us who should get barriers if they expect us to go into all that melee burst that flies around without any way to disengage efficiently.
Either that or 360 degree, 600 range radius on mantras. Another way is to keep it as clunky as it is but 900 range (ground target?) OR remake one mantra to grant us a blink of some sort to get out of a fight safely when we are about to get rekt into the ground.

Yep. I’ve been gathering the mats for my second legendary weapon for the last two months or so and it’s only been that quick because I already had a lot of the materials.

Having an entire set of legendary armour (i.e. 6 pieces) take only three months is not an issue, IMO.

Also to OP; there is no legendary PvP armour but the legendary backpiece added there takes an absolute minimum of 60 days to make. It’s only possible to progress that backpiece during leagues and the duration of Leagues and the gaps between those leagues meant that it took people a minimum of 6 months to make the backpiece, IIRC.

PvP and WvW legendary armor, coming this Tuesday…
