I have to say I don’t understand the forums.
Previously: Everything is too easy! We have nothing to do! Give us something, anything to do!
Now: OMG! You want us to do stuff??? This is uncalled for! Way too much to do!
Poor Devs.
Well.. the devs misunderstood.
-> Players: “Too easy”
- Easy = not hard
- Players: “Hard = challenging!”
- Devs “Hard = timeconsuming!”
- But: timeconsuming =/= hard!
- Timeconsuming = grindy
-> Players: “Too much grind”
There’s always going to be people who see effort as grind. Not much one can do about those kinds of people except laugh at them derisively, and then go on to play the game. -Sid
So I haven’t played for about 2 years. I saw the expansion costs 50$ and now the base game is free to play. If I don’t buy the expansion, am I downgraded to a f2p player? Do I need to buy it to access vanilla content now? Do I get anything at all for having been an original adopter of the game?
In order:
I feel this came up over a year ago. Not sure why it hasn’t been addressed. If they make the meaning more clear, that means less work for support.
What, pray tell, is so hard to understand about the term “unique”?
No, really. I’m seriously. What needs to be fixed on ANet’s end over this? Do we really need a tooltip that screams “OMFG YOU CAN ONLY WEAR ONE OF THESE AT A TIME THAT’S WHY WE CALL IT UNIQUE”?
Because if that’s the case, I need to find another game. I saw what dumbing stuff down did to WoW and SWTOR. I’m simply not interested in running around a world where players have to be spoonfed – it’s BORING. -Sid
In Guild Wars 1 unique only meant it had highest level stats. You could put more than one if you wanted to on your weapons slots.
Therefore, unique does not mean only one of the item could be used.
I thought this was GW2?
I’m referring to the concept of what unique means in a game and whether or not someone might not realize how it works, if it’s not a universal definition.
You’re right. I should have said “within the context of the game we’re discussing”. Please accept my sincere and most humble apologies. -Sid
Thanks for the replies. Sorry some of the terms I am not familiar with yet like ERP for example.
As far as class I am not sure yet. I honestly planned on trying them all to see what I like. I have currently only done the PvE, but do want to PvP/WvW or at least try it to see if I enjoy it. All I have really done so far is PvE with a guardian, warrior, hunter and elementalist, but do plan on trying other professions as well. That is why I was wondering about the account bound issue or if you could just buy them from the merchant. I just discovered these boards so have been looking over stuff.
You’re going to first want to settle on a class, as some professions just don’t make anything useful for EVERY class. Huntsman/Leatherworker tends to favor Rangers, while Artificing tends to favor magic-users, etc.
So, first things first: Settle on a class. Then it’d be a lot easier to figure out what job he should have. -Sid
I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. The only way to have perfect balance is to have every player use the exact same character class, with the exact same gear, abilities and statistics.
Any time there is a choice to be had in PvP, there will be a clearly superior choice.
Obviously arena net are doing just this. Once D/D ele mobility eclipses that of a thief they’ll finally achieve it
Oh, nononononono! There will still be other classes! So, logically, in order to attain perfect balance all but one class must be removed.
Then, only one set of gear may be allowed into PvP matches, and everyone must be forced to use this equipment.
And THEN, only one set of abilities may be used, and everyone must be forced to use these abilities.
Of course, keep in mind that all of those abilities must be exactly the same, lest one ability be better than another, so essentially you get a basic attack button that does a fixed amount of damage no matter who or what you hit. Hit Sixpack_Bob? 500 damage. Hit Pancakez-r-awesomenstuff? 500 points of damage. Somehow manage to hit yourself? 500 points of damage.
There. Isn’t balance FUN?!

My suggestion to you is the same as it is to anyone else who asks “which spec to play”?
The answer: Whatever you like best. Don’t be bound to current metas or by what certain groups of players want YOU to be. You do you. Otherwise, you probably won’t have as much fun as you could be having.
That having been said, rangers tame bacon so rangers > all classes. -Sid

It’s 40 hero challenges within HoT. Even less if you currently have excess hero points. Not a big deal…
No it’s not a big deal to you, it’s a rather large deal to everyone who disagrees, which is the majority. (at least in the forum world)
Hey look, Random is making up random stats. That’s not actually random at all, and is to be entirely expected.
Is it, I’ll invite you to go count the negative posts vs the positive posts over in that angry thread. Good Luck have fun, consider it practice for farming those HP.
Actually, as the person who claims the statistic, the onus is on you to prove it. So, YOU have fun doing YOUR homework.
Or don’t. Whatever. I ain’t your parole officer. -Sid
It’s not on me at all, I’m aware of the answer, you have the option to believe or not believe, but if you want to disprove then I’m afraid that onus is on you.
What? XD In what reality does that make any sense? YOU spouted the statistic, YOU got challenged, YOU have nothing to back it up.
So, disbelieve. What do you think this is? Church? Unless you can turn water into wine, you need something backing up your claims. Otherwise, they’re just empty air. -Sid
Wow is that since the launch. You knew it when bought each of dozens expansions.
Gw2, i knew at first: no grind for bis.
then it’s grind for bis but you don’t need it.
now it’s you might need it but hey, just play other content and not raids.Ascended is a massive effort, although not a “continuous effort”.
Legendaries are going to be even worse.
we still do not know if there will be treadmill or not.
Infusions are there for that very specific purpose: increasing numbers, like ascended vs exo. not cosmetic.
“makes no difference” has no meaning when talking about mmos.again. less grind doesn’t mean no grind at all.
ps: I played wow wotlk and cata and had “preparatory gear”: not so boring and slow as ascendeds…even if steps of a treadmill.
On the flip side: I gravitated away from games like WoW and SWTOR because of all that handholding. It’s NICE for once to be able to earn my big bad Final Weapon™. It’s NICE to be able to feel a sense of accomplishment in broadcasting those ingredients on mapchat, and it feels good to hear the response of the crowd. Most of the time, it’s words of congratulations – because those people know what kind of effort it took.
Some of us respect that kind of effort. It translates well offline in most cases.
My suggestion to you, then, is similar to the suggestions I get from socialists that take over Silverwastes event maps to do their boringass little chest trains: There are plenty of other places that cater to your desires, and no one in this free-market economy is telling you that you are forced to play this game. You’re more than welcome to take your spending power to WoW or SWTOR or any of the other handholders and buy yourself a max-level character.
I know. It sucks to be told that. But that’s the bottom line. There are very few games left that present any kind of tangible challenge to some of us that have been playing video games quite literally for decades now. Some of us want to earn it. And there’s just as nothing wrong with that as there is wanting to have one’s hand held or buy one’s way to power.
I’m not trying to take that away from you by going to WoW or SWTOR and telling them they have to present more of a challenge. Please, respect those who would actually like to earn their way into power overwhelming in a similar fashion.
Or don’t. Whatever. I ain’t your parole officer. -Sid

Contact support. Threads like this will just stir up feuds.
Ever wonder if that’s the intent behind some of these complaints? Or am I the only one that cynical? XD
Here’s an absolutely insane idea: Why not wait for release to see if your myriad fears are justifiable?
I know, I know. It sucks the life out of complaining about something before it’s been released. Yes, that would be problematic for some people, I can imagine. But kittening about something that hasn’t even been released yet is putting the cart before the horse.
Now, if you wait to complain after release? Your complaint just might have more substance, because then you’d be able to add hard details. (Which reminds me: Empty complaints are nothing but trolling fodder. Granted, complaints with substance often end up as trolling fodder too, but at least they have substance for anyone who might also be concerned about a certain facet. It makes for more productive conversation. No, really.)
But right now? The complaints are kinda useless. There’s nothing to back them up other than speculation, and you know what happens when complaints get backed with speculation? Misinformation. Fear. Anger. Nothing positive.
Of course, that might be what some of those complainers want. I’m not going to sit here and attempt to fathom the inner workings of the mind of someone like that. All I’m going to do is point out the obvious here: Complaints – substance = whining.
You, gentle reader, are going to do whatever you like. I can’t stop you. But I can hope that maybe, just maybe, some of you will stop yourselves and just be a little more patient. -Sid

No, I totally agree with the original poster. How DARE ANet make us play the game?! Don’t they understand we live in a day and age where everyone gets a trophy for participation?! Simply buying the pre-order should be good enough to unlock all the things and give us guild halls with free-flowing beer taps and Alyssa Milano on hand to act as a hostess.
Really. The NERVE of these people. Why, it’s almost as if they were trying to sell us a video game to play! RABBLE! -Sid
- More “Mature” town clothes
I am sick and tired of seeing lingerie in video games. There’s nothing “mature” about wearing your underpants around town, and don’t get me started on what the concept has done to TERA.
One of the most attractive aspects of GW2 to me is how it really tones down the sexuality that you see rampant in other games. Yes, I realize Mesmer females start in a skirt so short you can’t even call it a skirt, but if that’s the worst that’s I’ve gotta see, I can live with that.
At least it’s not some race that looks like a little kid “dressed up” in a bustier and thong panties. That only appeals to people like Jared Fogle – and we just don’t need that type in MMOs. -Sid
That would totally depend on the amount of data to download (I don’t think it will be anywhere near 15GB), the download speed of each user’s internet connection, the server’s ability to handle the influx of requests for said data, etc. etc.
Thus, the answer will be different for many, if not all.
15GB does seem hi, but it’s a reasonable estimate as far as calculations go. Always expect a lot higher time then it should normally take.
I’d be very surprised if a lot of the data (I.E. new systems, icons, masteries, etc.) doesn’t come in a patch a few days before launch, however.
Or if that data hasn’t already been fed to us. We had quite a few builds over the past couple of weeks. I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if we already have a good chunk of the data downloaded. -Sid
Sounds like someone had a bad time while playing Thief.
I am new to the game and been playing about a month and haven’t really tried the crafting stuff mainly because I wasn’t sure if it was worth doing since past games I have played it was cheaper to just buy things especially for a game that has been out as long as GW2 has been.
1. Is crafting worthwhile and if so why?
2. What crafting professions would you suggest are worth doing?
3. What crafting professions would you suggest not doing?
4. I have tried to read stuff about crafting and hear about ascended gear/weapons which seem to be the best you can get but have to craft it. Are these items account bound and so you can’t buy them on the market? If so, can you use them on different characters on the same account?
Thanks for any help.
1. Crafting is as “worthwhile” as you want it to be, though it’s hard to determine what “worthwhile” means to you. It can get you gold. It can get you shinies. It can get you experience. But I have no idea if any of that is what you consider “worthwhile”.
2. Whatever floats your boat. I mean, I don’t even know what class you are, so it’s hard to tell you which crafting disciplines would be effective. (Actually, I don’t even need to, because there’s already ample information on that particular subject elsewhere, including which professions make what.)
3. See previous, except avoid whatever does NOT float said boat.
(Need more information, please. What are you? What do you want? What do you prefer to play – PvE, PvP, WvW, ERP, what? Without this information all you’re going to get is a pile of generalized info that’s just going to be rehashed from the wiki.)
All I know is I didn’t have this problem. At all. And I’m pretty new to this game.
Maybe I’m a superhero. Maybe I just want people to think for themselves. Maybe I’m tired of people getting a free pass for throwing up their hands and saying “WHOOPSIE, I SCREWED UP LOL”.
I mean, really. What’s the point of doing anything correctly if we continuously expect everyone else to clean up our mistakes? I might as well not even bother typing correctly. -Sid
Yeah, yeah, I know. The title’s a bit weird for Players Helping Players. But I really do feel like this is the best advice I can give any player.
Now, those of you who still live on the farm might know where I’m going with this, but let’s face it – most people don’t live on farms these days. They live around piles of people, and most times tend to get offended when someone SAYS something stupid.
If someone DOES something stupid, that’s one thing. DOING stupid things can produce a tangible negative effect on a person even if that person does not want said negative effect to happen to them. An example of this is drunk driving. Someone doing that stands a very real risk of adversely affecting another human being by running them down in the road, crashing into their car, or even plowing into a building. (All of these things have occurred in the history of the automobile as a result of drunk drivers.)
But what if someone SAYS something stupid? Odds are, they’re HOPING it will affect you – because you, gentle reader, are the one in control of your reactions to people saying stupid crap.
WORDS CANNOT AFFECT ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE AFFECTED BY THOSE WORDS. It’s a poorly-kept secret, but thanks to the human love of being offended, one that we simply give no credence. We LIKE being offended. We LIKE feeling self-righteous. We LIKE that image of us wearing shiny metal armor, wading into obvious trolling to “defend” an ideal or person or animal or whatever. We LIKE all that.
But because we feed into that need to be perceived as champions of truth, justice and the [insert country here] way, we keep giving power and control to the writers/speakers who “offended” us.
And that’s exactly what they want.
Writers and speakers alike KNOW they have no power over the audience. The audience is going to respond however they like. The only thing they can hope for is that someone out there in said audience doesn’t recognize they’re in charge. They’re hoping for someone to hand that power over to ’em.
How does one fight that? Simple. By not fighting it.
Some of you reading this now have likely formed a strong opinion on the subject. It’s either “zOMG this guy’s blaming the victims!” or “zOMG I’ve been telling people this for ages now but no one will listen”. Now, MOST writers/speakers would write/say stuff like this in hopes of eliciting that kind of response. For most doing this, it’s how they make money, but for many they enjoy the control that they’re being handed by the audience.
I’ve something different in mind. I want you, gentle reader, to simply not respond.
You don’t HAVE to put anything below this arguably long missive. You don’t. You don’t have to jump to the defense of the hypothetical audience, or even the hypothetical writers/speakers. You don’t have to respond. You don’t have to give up even a smidge of control by allowing yourself to be affected by these words.
The same is true with garbage spewed in-game, especially in PvP or in dungeon PUGs. Yes, we all know they sound like total toolbags. Yes, we all know their lives suck if they’re going to rage about getting capped or a player dragging through a dungeon because it’s their first effin’ time. But you know what? THEY WANT YOU TO REPLY!
Why give someone like that – someone like ME – that kind of power over you? Do I deserve it? HELL NO! Am I going to do anything with it but entertain myself? HELL NO!
So why effin’ bother? Why give people like me an opening when you’re in total control?
The tl;dr?
Don’t fight fire with fire. That just makes for a flame war. Fight fire, instead, with marshmallows. -Sid
(Oh right. The point about cows. Anyway, cows are better than people because you can sit there and say anything you like to a cow and they’re just gonna keep going on doing cow things. Cows don’t care if they’re called fat or ugly or smelly or what-have-you. So people should be more like cows in that regard. Yeah, I should have elucidated more on that in the body given the title, but you know how a rant can get.)
I have a hard time feeling sorry for people who just don’t pay attention. “Unique” means “one of a kind”. If people have questions about what that means, logic dictates finding out before buying.
To the original poster, I suggest just sucking it up. You made a mistake, and that mistake was preventable. Learn from it and grow.
Or don’t. Whatever. I’m not your parole officer. -Sid
You don’t feel any empathy for OP, yet decided to grace us with this “wisdom”; so OP made a mistake, no point in kicking OP when they’re down. It’s pretty bad wisdom too, since support has been known to rectify this.
If you’re going to play semantics, than “unique” would imply you couldn’t buy a second one. Having a duplicate isn’t very unique.
Yes, yes, and instead of simply shaking your head and moving on, you did the same thing I did. Does that make us twinsies now?
Had the original poster just manned up and accepted they made an avoidable mistake, there would have been nothing upon which to comment.
Freedom of speech is a two-way street. If the original poster is free to complain, I am free to respond to it. Just as you were to me. The world continues to go ’round. -Sid
(Ever consider the reason you can buy more than one unique item is because people have more than one character? Just curious.)
-Sid
What? Nooooo. That’s TOTALLY legitimate. You should absolutely go to that incredibly-legit-looking website and enter in every bit of information they tell you to enter. Nothing bad can POSSIBLY happen!
Oh, how I long for a world with a populace no longer susceptible to such obvious kittencrap. -Sid
Guild Wars 1 story took months, even years! Love the twists and turns. It’s not for everyone, but for us lore-hounds and story-lovers…it’s the bees knees.
There’s a reason why Days of Our Lives has lasted 12,700+ episodes in 49 seasons!!!!
~Milly
Yeah, because there’s nothing else to put in that time slot. -Sid

Kittens are cute. Even the most hardened internet denizen has a soft spot for kittens. :-pThe filter words in the German, French, and Spanish official forums are different.
In German, the word is “Liebsche” (a term of endearment roughly equivalent to ‘honey’)
In French, it is “papillon” (butterfly)
In Spanish, it is “minino” (the more harmless form of the word ‘kitten’ in Spanish)
The goal for these filter words is to diffuse the abrasiveness and take the bite out of posts containing profanity.“Abasiveness”? “Bite”? Those sound like terms assigned by the reader. I find it incredibly kittened that we live in a world where the writer/speaker is responsible for the emotions felt by the reader/listener.
If the reader/listener has a problem with what they are reading/listening to, THAT IS ON THEM. I’m not a mind controller. I can’t make anyone feel any way they don’t want to feel.
It’s time to put the onus back where it belongs – on the person receiving the words. -Sid
So no one should be held responsible for saying something they know is offensive? Or for that matter, shouldn’t people be held responsible for being intentionally offensive to make a point?
The recipient has a choice. They can choose to be offended or not. There isn’t a single word in any language that can be uttered that will have any tangible effect on a person that doesn’t want that effect to be had.
If you don’t like what a person has to say, simply ignore it. Worry instead about what people DO. Actions can affect people who don’t want to be affected. Words cannot.
Here, I’ll demonstrate:
WORDS! LEAP OFF THIS SCREEN AND KILL EVERYONE WHO READS THEM!

There is only one surefire way to balance a PvP game – make every player play the exact same class, at the exact same level, with the exact same stats and gear, on a completely flat playing surface.
Sound good?
This thread has officially become a grind to read.
If you want more information, kids, you have to be better players. Remember – we’re our own worst enemy. The reason game companies are so secretive about upcoming changes is because, time and again, we have proven to them we will use this information for personal gain and kitten the effect it has on the overall game.
We have met the enemy, readers – and they are us. Are we willing to take more responsibility as a community to prevent this sort of stuff from happening?
Responses below will tell the tale, won’t they. -Sid

Welp. Tried preordering. There’s a tax.
Blame NCSOFT. Were it not for their Austin office, it would be a tax-free purchase – though, to be honest, it’s really not that big of a tack-on. Look at what Euros have to pay in taxes. -Sid
I suggest not being sick of money. Silverwastes is, hands down, the best money producer on the game.
Repeating the same content over and over gets boring. Pushing myself to keep doing it causes me to burn out and quit GW2 for a while. Varying the content keeps me interested in playing GW2. Sure, I’ll earn less gold per hour. But my gold per year will be much better because I will keep playing.
As far as the math is concerned, I don’t feel the need to post my personal experiences. Yours may vary.
That seems to be the response any time I ask anyone why salvaging is indeed better or worse than just selling the items. No indication that the person saying that salvaging is better/worse has done anything but the method they think is best. No indication that they have done any calculations to see if they are right.
No attempt to even explain why they think it’s best. Just I do this so you should to.
You asked for suggestions, and I gave you one.
So you gave me a suggestion before my first post in this thread ?
In order, by paragraph:
And finally:
It doesn’t matter what gets nerfed. The only way to avoid having one technique being better than all the rest is to make every player play the exact same class with the exact same skills that all do the exact same thing.
You’d be bored to tears in no time. -Sid
Isn’t there already a mechanic that punishes bailers?
OMG you guys are awesome. I just posted this and have 3 very detailed responses. Thank you. It makes me think highly of the community as I’m considering purchasing the expansion.
I know it was a pretty silly question but I log in after a LONG time away and it was overwhelming just to go out and play because my bags are packed. Thank you SO much for the advice….and so quickly!
You can thank us by paying the rather large bill we just mailed to you. Prompt payment is appreciated.

I can’t seem to do these solo and really need some help finishing them off. I need the following…
Point of No Return Mastery:
- It’s all about TimingSeeds of Truth Mastery
- Wicked Rodeo
- don’t tread on me
- dodgy crowdi’ll pay for help… 2g per achievement.
I don’t see how buying help is going to assist you with at least two of those achievements (Don’t Tread on Me, Dodgy Crowd). But good luck, I guess. -Sid
Is it really best to salvage everything that isn’t an exotic ?
By that I mean I want to see the math behind the assertion that salvaging everything is the more profitable option.
Secondly: What gold making options do you suggest to players who are sick of Silverwastes ?
I suggest not being sick of money. Silverwastes is, hands down, the best money producer on the game.
As far as the math is concerned, I don’t feel the need to post my personal experiences. Yours may vary. You asked for suggestions, and I gave you one. I don’t have anything further for you. -Sid
Hello community! I play since beta, i met here many nice players who was always kind and helpful. Howerver i made one big mistake, i transfered to NA and now im stuck with so high pings. I know thats my problem but if you have few copper than you dont need then i would appreciate your donations I really want back europe! Thank you guys and sorry for my poor english. Aviate.1376
ANet do not allow begging letters on there forum. If you want to transfer buy gems and transfer. No one will be sending some random person gold with no proof of what it’s being used for, or that it will be used that you are saying you will use it for.
In short, no, now delete the thread before you get an infraction on your account.
…uh, yeah, this is precisely what this forum is for, actually. People post their wishes, and hope they get fulfilled.
I don’t see this request to be any more out of line than asking for Gem Store items. Guy just wants to go home. -Sid
Only one thief should be allowed per team in rankedq (unless a party has more than one thief). Any more than one thief when enemy team doesn’t is 98% chance loss.
98% eh? Cite, please. -Sid
Shame you cant really setup selling stalls in the openworld.
In aion I would buy hundreds of cheap tri-aether jelly and go to a hotspot of player activity in the open world and setup shop. Listed the jelly for 3x the price I bought them. AFK while at school/work. Come home sold out. But I mean, if you look at aion economy you should be glad gw2 is how it is atm.
Gotta disagree here. Selling outside the TP is horrible because:
Chat spammers advertising WTS x all day long
Inconvenience for buyers having to trudge around viewing shops all day to get a decent price instead of playing the game.
Clutter from tons of stalls.
Much higher risk of scammers (e.g putting an extra 0 on the cost of an item)
Lack of TP gold sink would mean inflation would get crazy really fast.
Never had any of those problems when I ran a merchant stall on my old MUD, but maybe you’ve just been playing some awful games with some awful people. -Sid
Baby, it sounds like you’d rather just be playing LoL. Maybe GW2 PvP is too pro for the pro? I dunno.

Just a friendly reminder: Internet outages affect internet usage in very strange ways. It may not be a problem between your ISP or ArenaNet’s at all. It may be on a completely different part of the network, far away from either one of ya.
Some of you may remember the headache Level 3’s outage caused widespread parts of the world across all kinds of platforms:

…while many of you may NOT remember that because you weren’t affected by it.
The vast majority of lag is not caused at the server level. It is caused somewhere between the server and you – and given the hyperconnected nature of the internet, may not have anything to do with either you or ArenaNet at all. -Sid
FIOS here and I’ll try later tonight
With internet outages/slowdowns, your ISP may not matter. A major problem with Level 3 in June of this year caused global issues:

This might help with transcribing – it’s a website dedicated solely to the instruments in GW2.

Grind the xp out or go gather the hero points in open world. 2 alternatives right there.
Do you realise that you don’t get hero point when you lvl up?
You do at certain points before hitting max.
So make some friends who haven’t done the content, go in and figure it out together. I can fully understand why more experienced players don’t have time for those that lack the expertise. It’s incredibly frustrating to get into a run groove if you have to carry someone and you’re not getting paid for it. -Sid
Thanks for the answers guys.
But what about for those who live in Texas?
I love questions like this.
The State of Texas is one of those that does NOT require an out-of-state retailer that lacks a physical presence in the state (examples: having a warehouse or office in Texas; having a sales rep based in Texas) to collect sales tax at point of purchase.
However, the State of Texas DOES require its residents who purchase such tax-free goods to pay a “use tax” on their purchase(s), IF the product purchased is used within the state’s borders.
If you paid taxes on your purchase from ArenaNet and you’re a Texas resident, it’s legitimate – while ArenaNet does not have a physical presence located in Texas, they are a subsidiary of a company that does: NCSOFT, which maintains an Austin office (probably to spy on Bioware).
If you did NOT pay taxes on your purchase from ArenaNet and you’re a Texas resident, though, I wouldn’t sweat it unless you bought stacks and stacks of HoT. Then the comptroller’s probably gonna have something to say about it. XD
Hope that helps! If it doesn’t, here’s a pile of further information on the topic:

We’ve demanded Build Saving since launch, but no luck.
If ANet wants people to not HATE stronghold, we need Build Saving to people can swap to their SH build when the time comes.
The same goes for deathmatch. Courtyard is the best map in the game (this is fact), but people can be resistant because they can’t just pull a DM build of of their kitten .
With Build Saving, you can.
Thanks for Combat Mode, BTW. Kinda wish someone had been working on Build Saving for all that time, tho.
Keep demanding it and sounding just like this while you do! I’m SURE that will grease the wheels of creation and get the content you want.
No, really. Great work! -Sid
If any of you plan on doing a raid, you can bet you WILL be running the Elite, there is no way Anet is going to spend all this time promoting these new Elite Specs for them to sit idle and unused, they will make content that forces you to use the Elite or you wont get past it,
It may not be in the first few raids, but by this time next year it will be near mandatory to run the Elite.
The only one that I will even look at will be the Mesmer, and that’s only for sPvP, everything else just looks boring to me, I Main was a necro and the Elite spec was horrible I hated it.
Challenge accepted. I’m a raid ranger now. -Sid
