I have downloaded the new build a couple of minutes ago, it was all fun and dandy, but now every time i try to enter the game, the game crashes after i try to put the mobile authenticator!
is there a reason for this or has something changed, i have read the part about the mobile from Anet, and it has been working aces, until the new build has been implemented?
so does anyone have any clue to whats happening

as Fuz says, we want to know if it is a timed thing and we have to change it every month+ (as a double security feature) or something happened to our accounts, as it is i dont want something to happen to my account like what happened in the launch and not be able to play for a couple of days, so can we get a reply on this issue??

there are so many, if they fix half of them i will be happy, i am playing a tankish war, but dying alot because they are sooooo bugged.
and we have talked about those bugs A LONG TIME AGO, yet none of them have been mentioned or given a reason why they have not been mentioned for the past month+ patches we can hope for fixes in the next one

my warrior is fully decked, but the story level (75): Estate of Decay is bugged
it starts normally,
- (not to spoil) first task is complete
- second is also
- thrid
- forth starts, we hear the speech from the NPC but then when i try to follow, i am stuck in the small room, no doors open or anything can happens, all the npcs in the room talk normally, half of them move from my grp the rest stay still like they are still viewing the scene of the speech
if the bug page that was created is still the same or we can expand it to double, it does not matter to me, what matters (since Anet says this is where they want warriors to be) is for them to fix it so we can play they bloody warriors, there are so many traits that i can’t use because they are bugged, if it was played at working level i wouldnt be dying every couple of mins, and i can have fun instead of rerolling to another class
its not a hard task since we have addressed some/most of the issues, look at them and fix them like you have fixed the bugs for other classes and dont neglect the class
this has been reported since Spet. 6 can you please Fix it, the escort is bugged, i want to get armor from the NPC but it has been bugged for too long it aint funny anymore please fix it, i have been jumping server to try and find one, but being stuck now on servers for one day each time, is not fun, so just fix this bug already
dono what you guys are talking about, i think the citidal is the easist place to explore, i hate looking for the POIs in LA, and other places Asura might be the easist except the one in the middle (VP) i cant seem to get that one, but other than that it is easy as hell :S
I am not sorry at all, they are ALL bad, i have yet to see an armor set that looks good, and i want to know if even the helms that horns instead of looking epic, they look insanly redicules on Charr.
I played the Charr because they are an epic race, not Cows (wow refrence) and all armors looks like they got 2 bit artist that throws colors around the room and says “VOilA” i created art, a masterpiece, people should cry when they see it, while in reality it is garbage ontop of garbage which makes me sad

Dulfy had them up a long time ago, GW2W finally had there prices up, (thats if you never visited them before) which is 42k per piece, which is BS, they should vary in price,
anyway if you want to get a full set it will cost you 252k (which is the amount you need to get the legendary weapon) but the only set worth getting is the Aurora set, gives you good Power, tough, Vit, while your basic traits (if you spec right) give you perc, so it is the complete package. have fun grinding that Karma
FYI the SE armor set has the same exact stats (for 4 pieces), while the TA is the same has the (helm and boots)
try this one, i do about 20k with tough gear (since your still in the 70s go 23, 30, 0, 0 , 10, then fill the last 7)

I have tried other builds, but this is the best build for GS (glass cannon) that i have found, pure dps, and nice output, plus the quickness makes grinding and killing things much nicer

really… abilities missing, your going with that excuse, please go read the bugs in the main bug page, and that goes for everyone, its not only one problem its weapon attacks, utility spells, and traits, they are all messed up, and its not that they even tried to fix one or two and said we are going to fix the rest in the next patch, we are an ignored class
thats not the only part, if you look into the character design, animation of abilites of warriors, and compare it to the rest, the warrior is by far THE WOREST. who ever made the class was in a rush or just hated his assignment. and now plainly ignoring the class not to fix anything in it.
its not that i want to rage on it, Anet are pushing us to do it, look at the traits, some of the bugs were reported over a month ago, and are still not fixed, (something before Jon made that post) and if you want to go into defense the best traits for defense are broken and reported, yet not fixed, so… you have to choose other traits that are not as good just to compensate for it or go a different path. while if you go PURE dps, most of the traits are broken, yay us, yet again, and I ask you, did you report it, or are you hoping for Anet to just fix it some day when they notice it??? no we all reported it, and yet we have yet to see any changes, and any responce, but let us rage as we go and hate the things that are broken, and hope that someday it will be fixed.
hmm this has been posted a lot before, dont get me wrong I agree with the idea, it is frustrating, specially when the renioun heart is a bit far from the action area.
and the same goes for events, most of the times your screen pops “EVENT NEAR BY” and open the map to look for it, and there are no orange areas at all, the map should always show the orange areas that your are level appropreate for, and specially the ones you got the massage for.
i agree with juiceman, not only will it simplefy things, as it stands now it diferentiates between the nubs and the smart people even if it takes a mil-second to loot, but that time that you are taking to loot or go and search or it and see where did it drop, did i loot it, what droped for me, you could end up dead in the hands of the enemies.
simplifying to just running around like a mad dog, and gaining things that you should or should not get is the def. PLUS, the only reason this thread is open (imho) is because someone keeps forgetting to loot the lil bag

what you are saying :
set 1:
sword + pistol
set 2:
sword + focus
and you used the Sword cooldowns and the pistol cooldowns, THEN you swtched to set 2, now you have CDs on both Sword and focus? if you have CDs on sword that’s normal, if you have it on the Focus then that is a bug, and it should not be happening.
on the other hand, if you are saying:
set 1:
sword + pistol
set 2:
sword + focus
and you used both CDs, and switched to Set 2, and dont want to get any CDs on the sword because its a different set?
some of them are like this, but with no increase in number or intensity, they keep ongoing untill they successed
i dont like it either, and it differes from prof to another, my friend went in with his mesmer and got 30 kills while i was still on my 5th, i have never pvped and dont like to PvP, not only that, the prize in the end aint worth it, this is the MONTHLY box, it should contain something better than 20 coins, zomg i was sooo kitten when i wasted a full day just to get those 50 kills, and that aint the bad part, the bad part is the amounts of money i spent to repair in there, Anet depends the deaths in PvP the same as the deaths in insteance which BS
after you get to 80 you will get so much more, so dont worry, read what it says carefully and confirm upon that,
my advice if your still leveling, take signets they are the ones that have passives and will help you alot, the rest are useful in instances and PvP, like for example steal boons and remove conditions and for instances and PvP
hello all, first of all I am going to say this is going to be way tooo long, so read and then comment :X
Most people up till now complain about endgame content, yet while you walk around you dont see a lot with world compleation or other achivments, and I am one of them, nevertheless, I am pure hardcore PvE person and i am not one to explore
i love the Semi sandbox concept that Anet has implemented and to take that away with raids is going to ruin it (i am not going to contredect my title, read on) so there are multiple ways to keep it in the same mainframe of sandbox and way of GW2 and have all people enjoy and content. after playing for a month, i have seen a couple of problems with the game events
1: big partys become an insane madness
2: people try to go for exploits to get the rewards (ex. ppl dont fight claw of jourmag on the path and destroy the ice pillers… etc)
3: Anet has dumb downed the boss because the holy trinty has been taken out.
imho i dont fight the thrill of the kill in fight a big boss/event that looks glamerious while the thought in my head is whack a mole as how easy it is.
Raids: i have been thinking of many ways of how GW2 could have raids, and wouldn’t lose its edge, one way came to mind and it is at follows:
1: Switch mode: some people MAY be famillier with the concept, when entering the field all party members are seperated into groups, and each group and structure are split depending on the party leaders, does not matter on numbers (lets take the usual numbers of 10 and 25, and i will explain this with 25, you can visialize it as 10 yourself) group sets are not set, can be what ever the leader determens it before the start of the battle, 1-w.e . the raid would be a boss battle ONLY. so it would not be grind feasta to be incomplaince with GW2 pholosphy (at max 2-5 pulls before)
an explantion of switch battle would (depending on the event /raid boss)
1- support /buff group in the back
2- range group
3- condition group
4- melee group
5- toughness group
this does not mean those are preset options, it can be mixed and matched, this is just and example,
the fight would be in waves generally a type of tactal warfare, switching spots between takeing on mobs, taking high damage blasts, group and spreading (normal raid stuff)
but the difference would be in each Position of the map one group can stand and attack a certin mob,
for example to make myself clearer, a group can be made by the leader of one person, to jump in and stun a target, then a group of ten switch and burn dps the mob,
events can be made to make raiding more entertaning, like:
1:- guild raid only
2:- 1 of each prof atleast ( with have 2 more from two others)
plus to not make this an insane grind, Anet can make this a monthly different event raid, the raid monster with abilities would differe each month (that would be asking WAY too much, but atleast you would have varaition and a new achivment)
plus i would love to see this (if it was ever made) hardcore mode, which would make everything insanly hard
i feel like i am reading LoL or Halo forums, dont get me wrong CTF is nice, but did you get bored of all the mini games that Anet has to offer already?

1:- lets firstly spreate the games from the reality, because in games you can create what ever weapon in any specifaction you want, (for example Ivy’s whip from Soul culibar, a sword whip ), if we get back to reality, i studied all weapons in old history
so when you say that the whip does not do a lot of damage, true i agree, i does make you bleed fast, BUT, that is your run of the mill whip!!!
now what does whip’s excelle over?? everything except range weapons, as they have a higher range, and can disable anyone that gets in close range and inflect more pain.
2: if you want into gaming design, oh god, you can create any whip, from your standerd whip, chain, lighting, (beam for some fans fans ) thorns, bladed, and the list goes on, you can be one dimanshanal, and say " OH NOES, it wont do damage" , if you played ninja gaiden, the most powerful thing in the game was the wooden sword once it was maxed.
over all, what people are asking for is prof specific weapons, if you dont like it, or you think it would be better for another class voice your opinion in a respectable mannor
i just started my mesmer, but as i understand it ( i am not sure, so u have to test it urself by standing still)
confusion build is useless in PvE, but amazing in PvP,
Condition build is the oppositte, it is amazing in PvE and i dont know about PvP because the stacks are random.
reason: people attack fast and confusion eats away at there lives, unless you find a smart guy that takes it away, in PvE, monsters slow and I am not sure if they take dmg from the confusion, but they mostly take dmg from your basic impact attak, but as i understand your main damage is from stacking confusion which doesnt help you in PvE. so your better off switching to another build.
i love the idea, but i dono if would like this even more:
whips are amazing but make it profession specific, as i have never seen a scyth drop (EVER) i am pretty sure it is only for necros, there should be ONE weapon for profession, and that weapon is what make it unique and nice

Gaurdain: Glaive
Engineers: Rocket luanchers
Rangers: Whip (no matter how you think about it, whips are for rangers)

all weapons are 2h, so there will be no differentiation between professions
i do know that, but for example the price of gems today is about 1g=220gems while getting the dye bundle is about 400 or 450 (i cant remember) lets say that it is going to be the same price, so that is going to be 2g for a makeover kit, which is a very steep price, just for a makeover while all things in game have been down graded in price not to be that insane
i mean the drop rate for dyes is high, I have about 40 dyes now, other than the starting ones, on one character, but that is my point of view on having them droped,
if they are to be sold (like the option that it was in wow) it wouldnt be that high in price, 2g is really steep, and that is saying that it is going to be for 400-450 gems not any higher!

i am guessing your bashing that the events are easy and are not worthy of the game taking to long, and dont reply saying “L2R, or read first” i am not going to.
I actually agree with that fact, but the problem is that Anet took out the trinity system, so no more tanks or healers, its based on skill, so the dragon, boss, or event boss is not going to focus one person, he is just going to aoe the whole area around him, killing everything in its path, so the question would be
1 how many adds
2 power of direct attack
3 power of AOE attack
if the scale was high he would be tough, if the scale was medium it medium, and low would be low,
and depends ont he boss also, for some bosses you ingore the adds, and kill him, for others you have to kill the adds before attacking him
and so on
Anet gave us cooking, think that is enough, i hate fishing was the most painful thing to do in any game I played.
you want chance and gamble in catching things or alike, you got the mystic forge
the last two are maybe race specific, it can be even loted under the same catagory so it wouldnt be race specific, (horns are for charr, earpieces are sylvarie)
but thats not my beef with the idea, right now, if i created my character with a bandana and later i didnt like it (which is the deal with my ranger right now) i dont want to spend REAL CASH just to change it, i dont mind spending silver or gold to change it, but i am not spending gems to change the looks of any character no matter how i hated it later, someone should take more consideration when they make it

thats not the dispointing part, you can mine with them up to mithral, but you can not mine orehalcon ore, which does not make any sense,
hell no, i dont want change it through the BLTC, there should be a way like everything else, i dont want to waste gems just to change my Races looks
something like:
complection dyes
hairstyle magazne
face peels
eye lenses
horn styles
earpieces
etc…
instead of only the dye button there should be a drop down button so you can scroll for which you want to change, if you have the required. plus like the dyes, you have basic start up kit like the dyes, and I dont mind that the start up kit would be shorted if this would be implemented.

and things like that that should be a normal drops and people can and should be able to sell it in TP

there are so many other like it that should be like it, every item that is an ingredant of crafting but is stuck in ur bag and does not want to go back to the bank as a collectable (the loadstones) should be the same, the black lion buffers (XP, power, crafting…etc) should also go and so many others that just sit there and watch your bag get cluttered.
the counter argument is, you really want everything you get to go to the bank, or collectable bank, and carry nothing, might as well not have a bag, you are just a walking transport mech >.<
no mounts, with time everyone will find an easier to farm and gain money like its nothing and WP costs will seem like nothing, so in the end:

I am posting this from work, i will take a screen shot later from my house and show the dif, but if your playing at FOV 65 check your graphics card if it is updated or run things at max, cause i would understand that would be annoying
Depends on the build you go into
if you go into a dps build, it aint worth it as it is kittening your dps as you are getting something of 1,5-2k heal every 30s x3 which compared to your 20k+ health pool it isnt worth it, But you are going to say 1/5 omg the shout saved my life >.< yay shouts
if you are going tanking, the shouts do the same heals 1,5 -2k to a 25k+ health pool every 30s x3 which is really low, but on the other hand, you dont die as easly, as you can mitgate some of the pain, until you get the nice dicy mobs, or the bosses that laugh at that dont care about your spec, AKA, range or die, then the kittened dps as a tank is sad and your role now is pure support and again your shouts dont do that much (to you, but to others it does alot like a thief that has 10k+ health)
really this is a big problem I have died so many times on bosses because I need to remove a condition and i had two on, but it removed cripple or frost and left bleed/poison/burn on me, and thus left me to die there shoud be a hierarchy of what is going to be removed based on danger and number of stacks or how fast it is going to down you.
@ Rack, if your an elem, when you go underwater, fight with water attribute, it does the most damage, all the rest are not up to par
UWC is most frustrating thing to me, i play a level 80 warrior with max gear, having no breathing underwater makes it easier, but the problems that i have are the following:
1: speargun is useless, might as well take it out, at 80 i do about 100 UW >.>
2: i go melee with everything, and i dont have anything, i can take any mobs on, up to three mobs, (4 if i am pushing it) what i dont like is if i am doing 1/3 of my usuall damage, why is the mob’s health the normal health? it should be reduced to complement UWC.

I use it on daily basis, and i have never had problems with the, unless i tried to rez someone that is about to die and i missed him, i sometimes get 2-3 people up, its an amazing skill and depends on the player’s kill (timing, how many peopel to get up)
i did all 3 and story and i still dont have the achiv for SE
I seriously dont know if this has been said in the past days or not but it should:
I have max a character already, sadly i made the mistake of having a warrior for a first, don’t get me wrong warriors are insane damage, but is flmsy as a twig. after that i took the time to try every range class, and i came to the conclusion that they are somewhat OP (don’t get me wrong, when you see the damage ratio between the two class its laughable, but the survavablity and the damage over time because of there death is what makes them OP as F)
what I am basicly saying, heavy armor needs to be boosted a lot, not a bit, a lot, even going into the definsive tree does not help at all, instead the usuall 2-3 hits, they will laugh and say “awww he is cute, here is 2 more hits, now die”, its not like the inquest that are SE in path 1 which u are meatbags, or first dredge champ in path 2, that is a serious meatshield,
Boost heavy gear, so that people don’t die in 3 hits!

i want to know if might is bugged or is disgened that way, because at the rate its going it is pissing me off, specially as a glass dying class, might as well benefit from it to the max before dying.
what I am noticing is that each stack of might has its own timer, and no matter how many you stack, they don’t refresh and make a big number.
Example: Start Combat> “Utility spell” 3 might(M) > crit 1M, Total= 4 > Crit Crit Crit 3M, T= 7 > H C C H 2M, T= 9 M > 3 might fading timer ran out and your still in battle even you see that the timer is refreshing with each new might (the first 3)> and battle is still going with might going up and down.
is this supposed to happen or should the timer be going with the full numbers untill the timer runs out?

this post is TL; DR
a lot of things have been said and i am not going to and repeat most of them, though i have input on some things:
1:- when searching in the TP, it would be nice to search per armor type, it has happened so many times that i would by a different gear catagory (heavy, medium, light) because it is still not split
2: repairing gear in my point of view is way more imported to be reduced than way points, since the last patch and less rewards you would get more broken then spending on waypoints.
3:- I would love to VIEW ONLY my bank and collectable when i am on the field, if i am going to grind something, might as well know how much i have,
4:- inspecting other players, weapons and builds,
I dont have a picture on hand sorry for that, but other than seeing the gap between the body and the item when its on your back, its sad to see the hilt of the greatsword going through your back its like one of the two does not exist, you or the GS
This is another problem that I have seen only recently not since launch, what has been bugging me, in game i have my helmet off, but when i go to the loading screan it shows me my character (doesnt matter which) with the helmet on?!
I love the game and the efforts made put in the game to make it as relistic as possible, but when i play my female mesmer a floating/stiff skirt does not look real O.o

Def #6 “cull the weak”: I am stacking on an enamy 25 stacks of weakness, and the damages isn’t increasing AT ALL
this is general bug but bugs me since it is related to “forceful strikes”: and i want to make sure if it was designed to be like that or not, when you attak something I start stacking might, but each might is on a different timer? they dont stack ontop of each other
