It fixes nothing. Using the wall climb glitch (existing since launch), a mesmer can portal in up to 20 players from outside, right into the boss room. This flips the keep in less than 30 seconds.
Maybe bads should stop freaking out every time an enemy isn’t constantly visible. As a thief, necro and warrior user, I typically have more trouble with the more visible targets, because they don’t die in 2 seconds when I predict their movement. And thief buffs? You mean, buffs to pistol physical damage? That still remains horrible BTW.
I mean.. It’s like asking the other side at a full-blown shootout in Sarajevo to ‘pretty please show yourselves so we can shoot at you’.
And ppl complain about my thief 100x more often, why?
But anyway. Mad skillz. I’d definitely not be able to beat this guy on my thief. Not yet anyway.
Man, this connection error is so cool! I almost feel like I’m actually playing the game!
A good d/d ele can and will beat any thief build 1v1. No exceptions. It’s a tough matchup for thieves, just like bunker engies, condition necros, etc.
Scat man indeed. Damn, you deserved to finish that last downed ele.
1) Stop reacting slowly and being bad/slow in general.
2) Get good framerate/performance, so you at least eliminate the tool/hardware-end of being BAD.
3) Stop ****ing lagging.
4) Stop ****en lagging.
5) If you can’t stop lagging, then know that even if that thief rendered instantly, you’d still have a ridiculous skill-usage delay, and their attacks would hit you several seconds before they show up/register on your end, rendering the whole ‘culling’ issue moot.
Oh, and-
6) STOP LAGGING.
P. S. I know that I place a lot of importance on lag, but bear with me here. The ONLY time I had culling issues in small fights vs thieves was.. Take a guess. When I was LAGGING and had more than 150-200 ping. And I’ve been in a lot of fights. And I mean a WHOLE LOT.

play hard go solo <3

Wow, unicorn in tourneys, not very common. And you pull it off very well, too! Those poison aoes while in SR – I’m going to remember that one. And I see you also use the steal-finishers – zat pesky thief teleport can go to hell.
Just had a SBI player from [HAHA] hack into the south east tower on SOS BL. Yes the image doesn’t prove anything, but i saw him fall from the sky.
I didn’t fall from the sky…….
I was inside long before they started attacking. You’re blind; you LET me spend 4mins killing the boss, right in front of you. No wonder you think I fell from the sky. I have video footage of all of it, I’ll probably be uploading it along with other clips in my next vid.
EDIT: LOL @ you using 1h sword as a guard in PvP. No wonder you got wrecked 1v2, after i let you both dps me for 2mins while I fixed the gate.
(edited by Slic.2406)
IDK about any of you, but a good engie or bleed necro will screw me over every single time, no matter what thief build I run. This ofc includes 1v1.
Do ‘good’ ones exist anymore? I’d argue, no, they don’t – almost all my PvP friends quit, and they used to beat me with those all the time.
Maybe that’s why ppl keep thinking my thief is so OP (they also start thinking my wells necro is OP after a duel!) – because I’ve been in way more challenging/demanding scenarios than 99% of you ever hope to be in, thanks to your lack of cojones.
But don’t let informed players stop you, thieves, eles and mesmers are really, really OP right??
I keep hearing about how evil of vertical progression is, but I haven’t really heard why. You guys talk about the gear “grind”(we really need to go over the definition of grind. The only real grinding aspect in this game are legendaries), but don’t really talk about why it would hurt the game. Also what is horizontal progression?
If your reading/hearing comp isn’t total crap, that explains the main problems.
Q: Are we not allowed to earn gold?
A: No. You’re not allowed to play the game how you want to.
hi everyone,
I have just bought the game and still updating
But I saw some threads that saying the game is dying or getting boring, so I am just curious that am I too late to join the game ?
If you don’t mind lots of grind and a gear treadmill, then the game will be ok for you. However, the WvW/sPvP population took a HUGE dive.
Also, there isn’t really that many different effective/viable builds per class right now, and lvl-ing to 80 without lvl-ing crafting with gold is also time-consuming comapred to gw1 (lower lvl zones are now very empty, you’ll be soloing for the most part).
Again, objectively speaking, if you’re fine with grind and a gear treadmill, you won’t regret it. That, or if you can get your hands on a lvl80 account with end-game gear.
The original concept was taken from:

Don’t mess with chickens - the key is to carefully steal them, then assassinate them and proceed w/dinner, before they can call for help.
god-mode
noob-induced god-mode!
Well. All these self heals are justified, when you consider the following 2 things:
1) Thieves have ZERO direct mitigation (block, protection, etc.)
2) In order to use any of this healing, thieves have to actually attack/cast skills
Eles/Engies have way more healing and mitigation. Guardians are a close 2nd but theyre more of a damage absorption and survive-by-cc-ing-attacker class.
What you should be pointing out is how effective the thief is at STAYING AWAY from damage.
Well, as a personal preference..
Quip 4 Lyfe. Str8 Clownin Joo.
If you want to see how obnoxious Quip is in WvW, feel free to look me up.
You’ve decided that other peoples time is somehow less important than yours, because they run in groups/zergs etc, and that they don’t deserve to be rewarded for their play style. Its not an issue of them being better or worse than you.
Yes, you hit the nail on the head for once! Their time is LESS IMPORTANT than mine, when I can solo a supply camp in < 1min, something that usually takes 5+ of them that exact amount of time.
I can play for objectives too, while solo. In fact, I can CHOOSE not to engage 1v5+ at all, and have them uselessly chase me for hours on end, while I STILL kill yaks and STILL ninja supply camps ON MY OWN, right before ticks.
Do you want me to go on? I alone, without ever using alt+F4, have seen entire guilds try to catch me as I single-handedly kept all yaks from reaching Stonemist AND flipped supply camps right before ticks.
Yes, I’m going to have to repeat, my time can easily be more important/impactful than all those ppl that I kill in 1v2+. And like IOKI said, it’s a gang mentality, it’s a crappy, frowned-upon attitude to think you deserve a medal for 5v1-ing a guy. That isn’t something brag-worthy, let alone ‘virtuous’, ‘praise-worthy’ or ‘sportman-like’.
What IS praise-worthy compared to zerg getting rewarded is players who have the courage and know-how to stand up to the zerg, on their own, and to actually achieve results. I have seen plenty of other players like this, and I have even gone as far as not to interfere with them when they were enemies.

Not trying to be argumentative, but.. I have to make something clear.
If people REFUSE to get better, to try new things, to be good at timing/twitch, then how do they expect to fare against a person that doesn’t refuse to do these things? I’m sorry, if they refuse to change themselves for the better, then they should expect to always get clowned on.
I know it’s tempting to just nerf everything into oblivion so we are all autoattacking each other to death, but maybe ppl should reconsider going down this path again and again.
Now here you are talking to the wrong person
. Well as if its something new
.
Your posts is this thread are generally quite erratic logic-wise (I could break it down for you if you wish). But I will not follow your attitude and make blanket statements about reasons I personally might see for that.
If you are “person that doesnt refuse to get better”, you may want revise this thread closely to see that you are either trowing argumets to the people who don’t disagree with you on particular point, or skewing discussion in perpendicular directions randomly.
Well, yes I realize you don’t disagree with me on this particular topic, but you do seem to be giving people who ‘refuse to get better’ a little too much credit. I’m only trying to warn you about being too lenient on such things!
Giving them too much leeway or the benefit of the doubt is not something you should do, as (gaming and RL) history continues to give examples where it proved disastrous. I don’t give such an attitude any credit, and I recommend you don’t either. That’s all I wanted to make clear.
<———happily bumps this thread soo all you proponents can continue to embarres yerselves
What, out of witty replies? Maybe realizing I’m not speaking opinion, but speaking fact? That’s always a harsh eye opener, since. You know. I actually SAY ‘in my opinion’ and other obv stuff, when I DO say an opinion.
But hey, I like my thread getting bumped too!
So…
So, I’m just curious, I’ve been tryin to nail down WHO you are from Sea of Sorrows. Could it be you’re that guard/thief from [EV] that kept getting schooled? Just a wild guess.
Bingo! Finally you’ve used basic logic to come to enlightening discovery: There’s atleast TWO options – either people do not understand what you are talking about or they just do not agree with you.
Not trying to be argumentative, but.. I have to make something clear.

You’ve got some skill, and a great build, however.
Cons:
- You are mostly fighting noobs, kind of surprising for such high tier servers, they are slow and don’t aoe/cc at all.
- The majority of your fights, the enemy doesn’t remove conditions set by you, leaving them to pretty much die on their own
- Very true. That’s what I’ve been trying to say, without caving in and using ridicule. The ppl on this thread that keep saying my build is OP, they’re very likely among the ‘noobs’ you mention. Refusal to adapt, experiment and to consider things like < 0.5s timing as something that they should get in the habit of. I just don’t know what to say to that anymore… That kind of stuff is part of my every-day PvP, it’s 2nd nature at this point.
- Yeah, that’s also true, some of them didn’t bring ANY cond removal. To put it bluntly, to everyone that keeps crying about a build that’s NOT VIABLE in top tier pvp, there’s a reason all the top sPvP teams usually bring lots of condition removal.
(edited by Slic.2406)
Here you go again, trying to act like you know what your talking about….Your a great ninja blind samurai warrior, and all your victims are just pvp pups that need some hard learned lessons….pls
Your mentality is easily profiled by your posts and apparent reputation.
You are seduced to this playstyle, as are many regrettably, because the class can carry you…
You know full well of the rendering issues inherent to stealth, and how they haven’t fixed it in wvw yet, yet all the videos I see are in wvw.. (I may be wrong, I haven’t watched your whole series)
You know full well that along with that advantage, retargetting you takes additional time, time you don’t have to waste on most classes, and you capitalize on that with the thief elite. (as do many)..need I even mention the loss/redirection of local fauna and npc aggro?
If you misplace your Zatoichi judgement on other stealth classes, you have a stealth counter to fall back on and reset the encounter
CnD doesn’t even require you to leave your current target to trigger (at least from what I can see)
Healing while stealthed, condition removal while stealthed….pls hug it more
Your playing a behind the curve build, whether you wanna admit it or not….Do your server a favor and scout enemy zerg positions or something useful, and stop trying to showboat something that like 500 other thieves can’t do in their sleep
I mean do you really even have to have your monitor turned on to play a stealth thief?
LOL. See, I KNEW I hit the nail on the head in my prev comments. Not because I’m psychic, but because I use my mind, to fight and to get by in life. I won’t lie, all you’re doing now is giving me a reason to laugh AT you, not WITH you. I’m still going to try 1 last time not to.
I’ve played all other classes, but especially necro and warrior. Both my necro and war can 100-0 a p/d in about 5 seconds flat. All it takes is 1 hard CC, like immobilize. Is that hard CC easy to land at the right time? Not always. But it’s possible and telegraph-able, every time. I’ll give you a BIG HINT: there’s a delay before and after each dodge, where the opponent is unable to use any skills but is hittable while in the dodge animation. It’s rather tricky timing, but that is what I mean, in this case, by ‘telegraphed’ attacks.
I honestly don’t know what to tell you, I’ve fought my own build, I’ve thought about fighting/countering my own build (not just in group situations but in 1v1) with various things, and I’ve done it to death (pun intended). The 1st thing I thought about after I got used to the basics of my p/d build was: “ok, what are the ways I can counter/destroy myself?”.
I don’t know WHY you refuse to research and risk experimentation. If you want to know the BEST hard counter to p/d, I’ll tell you, because its common knowledge.
Faceroll with condition/bleed necro. Just don’t suck (I know it’s hard, but try not to)… My necro’s fav build btw isnt bleeds though, it’s a melee frontline build, but it can take about 40-50k hp worth of damage by the time a p/d can wear it down. This gives it plenty of opportunity to gib the p/d. I’ve done some duels in that regard, mostly in sPvP.
As a warrior, axe/shield and ‘shake it off’ seems to be the most important factor in fighting a ranged kiter that has no burst. The other set can be anything, I usually prefer the greatsword for obv reasons (swap to after you nail bull’s, gg).
EDIT: Not about to start making tutorials about how to beat ranged thieves, partly because I’m lazy and partly because I’d rather let others figure it out. If they can’t figure it out, oh well – keep getting clowned scrubs.
(edited by Slic.2406)
I’ve been partied by the enemy servers, mostly for duels and stuff. And just players voicing their opinion of mine and my server’s actions. I don’t think it’s a big deal, especially since your stats in WvW cannot always be duplicated in sPvP.
I personally would want to see /say and names be visible by the enemy. I don’t like this language/name barrier thing, it dampens the ‘thrill of the kill’.
I’m assuming you are asking about PvP. I personally prefer running p/d when solo, or in pug situations. In high-end teamplay though, backstab d/d is a better call, since you can also spam shortbow for aoe/ranged between each spike.
I’d say if you want burst/lots of damage and don’t care about being able to take lots of hits, d/d and berserker gear.
If you are more interested in steady damage/ranged/surviving, I have plenty of videos of p/d in action, including showing off the legendary pistol in vids 8-10.
It’s not the habit, it’s just one of two channels of information available during combat in a video game – video and sound. Everything else is a product of experience. To quickly get a grasp of opponents’ build major characteristics, to predict his actions and act accordingly.
I know this is going to blow your mind, but you don’t need to CONSTANTLY see your opponent to know where they are (or where they should be, if they are to continue to be a threat). I don’t know how many times I have to repeat this for others, frankly I’m beginning to think you don’t believe me enough to even try to change yourselves.
And it’s not experience that lets you just read someone else’s patterns from partial clues/observations, that’s something you CANNOT just learn with time. That is all on you, your natural talent and quick thinking and your ability to have what I call ‘battle calm’.
I don’t know how much more clearly I can put this, because when crap hits the fan, there are those that are rabbits and those that are tigers.
EDIT: Purposely seeking out crap-hit-the-fan situations is a good way to help yourself. Maybe if any of you do that enough, you will begin to understand what I mean about fighting with your mind.
(edited by Slic.2406)
Wow Wild Bill’s really shaken the tree with his 2 video threads.
You know GW fan, you’ve convinced me.
ALT-F4’ing is a very unclassy thing to do and isn’t justified it by saying the enemy didn’t “earn it” or you need the money or a cat jumped on your face.
If you WvW you should accept the consequences.
But I agree with Slic that the whole issue just shouldn’t exist (e.g. if they had a 30 second DC timer). As long as it’s an option, people are going to do it. In some sense, it’s crazy that right now the only reason not to do it is because it’s “cheap.”
I’d have to agree with that…the sooner they fix it the better….I’d prefer they spent some time fixing those sorts of issues and had less frequent content updates
Accepting the consequences would be great, but since a tool exists that allows me to choose to avoid them, based on my own personal judgment, I will of course defer to MY personal judgment, instead of letting the game decide.
You talked about stealing from others IRL, yes, that is a good analogy. If that’s the case, just call me Robin Hood, and all of a sudden stealing is the best way to go, even if it breaks the letter of the law. I’m not concerned with ‘breaking the law’ in this case, because the badges I would’ve given to others would not have been ‘hard earned’, etc.
And if you want to talk about RL, how about you realize the biggest thieves out there aren’t the ones breaking the law, it’s the ones USING the law and ABUSING the system. For instance, have you seen salaries of CEOs of major corporations? Have you seen the insane benefits/free meals/etc politicians in DC get? Have you seen how ridiculous the pay is for certain (rather bad) hollywood staff/actors? If you want to talk about RL, please don’t leave out anything from the analogy.
Stealth builds are great for beginners…. It’s a confidence boost when u need it…allows u time to think instead of react…gives u the luxury of recovering from mistakes… And most importantly, promotes an avenue for disengagement for those who take dieing personally.
The pistol is a cute touch
Well, since you want to take it to a scientific/philosophical level.
More like. Human males rely on eyesight too much, and ‘stealth’ in games like this punishes that weakness/habit.
So it’s not that ‘stealth’ is great FOR beginners, it’s great for PUNISHING beginners, unless those beginners aren’t overly reliant on eyesight. And since the overwhelming majority of the gamer demographic is males, most do rely too much on eyesight alone – males are biologically very visual-oriented creatures.
And trust me when I say this, this isn’t speculation or opinion. Human males are visual-oriented, human females are much less so (they rely on other senses more and their more primitive thought patterns ARE inherently different from males). But I will not get into the details of this here, PM me if you wish to continue down this line.
Honey pls….your even more terrible at trolling…Keep on “punishing” brother
I didn’t say that that’s why I personally play stealth classes. I just corrected you. Stealth isn’t FOR beginners, as much as it is for punishing beginners for a very common, chronic, biologically-rooted habit. This is also the very thing that has given stealth classes a long, long history of copious compaints/nerfs in every MMO.
If you’d like to know why I personally enjoy stealth classes, that’s also off-topic, but it revolves around laughter being good for my health (my doc says so!). And, to quote Shakespeare, “comedy is tragedy”.
I’m sorry, common sense should dictate that this whole response I’ve taken SOME thought into typing is obviously not a troll, because it lacks any sort of intentional humor.
My bad….I’ll correct myself….Keep on “punishing” and “laughing” about it, brother
Ok, so it’s now obvious that this is not purely scientific/rational with you, mayhap you have some unknown grudges/preconceptions/stereotypes of stealthers in general? Perhaps too many kids that wanted to be an ‘uber-ultra-cool-dagger-assassin’ have grated your sensitive ears with their naivete?
If that’s the case, refer to the very end of vid 8 for a rather final and succinct remark on any non-scientific/irrational matter you may have.
Wow, you talk a lot…and if your frapsing this, i just wanna say: "Hi Mom! Your Christmas present is gonna be late again this year…Sorry about that :-( "
Hit teh nail on teh head din’t I.

The pistol is a cute touch
this is true, stealth is great for beginners, you can even see it in the video (not saying the OP is a beginner) but it allows you time to reposition yourself/time to think since you can’t be targetted, and since you are using ranged melee have to close the gap even though you’re moving faster than them. The can’t use a gap closer since you’re stealthed.
When you stealth people are just standing there waiting for you to appear and due to the lovely nature of culling you would normally get in a few cheap shots before even being targetable.
Yeah, I don’t recommend “just standing there”… Again, not necessarily good FOR beginners. Just good at taking advantage of a common, chronic and biologically-induced habit of ‘beginners’. But, I’d say pretty much everyone has this ‘bad habit’, not just ‘beginners’ – it takes some willpower and insight to break the habit.
“…Look at how uber I am! Running around in a setting where teamwork is the driving motivational factor in builds, I’ll bring in my 1v1 optimised build and then show everyone how much better I am than them by claiming there is some kind of fairness involved. Knowing full well that I’m only going to fight 1v1 to 1v4 or 5, when the other guy(s) are optimised around 5+vs5+ in general.
Then, I will laugh at how easy it is (despite the aforementioned build advantage I have) to kill them and take badges!
…Slic wins because he optimizes for 1v3+ while everyone else optimizes for 5+v5+?
So what would happen if 5 Slic’s fought your “team optimized” 5? Are you saying all of a sudden he’d lose his magic solo power?
I don’t think that adds up.
I have to say though, even as a Wild Bill fan, I would love a video of guy’s fighting (and beating) him. I never found him in T1. I don’t think I’ve ever fought a decent P/D thief (maybe there’s been some in giant zergs so I didn’t notice) and I’d love to know what we look like from the enemies point of view.
If you wanna see a decent p/d fighting me, look at vid 10’s 1st clip. After that, there’s a not-so-decent p/d fighting me, but that also will give you a good idea.
Against other stealth, I fight like Zatoichi would – I use my mind more than my eyes. This isn’t any harder to do than using eyes, it’s just using a different part of your fighting spirit.
And yes, 5 of ‘me’ would beat 5 of ‘them’ every time, if I already can hold my own solo against ‘them’. But people are bad at math, logic and science and would rather harangue me for using something ‘immoral’, such as alt F4-ing after being zerged. Cause it’s not like 3 repair costs = 30mins of consumables for me or anything. Or that t1 WvW is now almost always instant queue…
(edited by Slic.2406)
Keep doing your stuff Slic. I am enjoying your vids very much. And for zerg people whining about getting no medals for killing a single player – lol.
Yeah, they obviously have not watched the very end of vid 8.
Sorry, just because someone has friends to play with doesn’t mean they deserve a badge. What is this, facebook? Or an actual game with combat, violence and conflict that hinges on ability, talent and quick thinking/reaction? Iunno, I’d like to think ideals can actually survive in a fantasy game, compared to reality.
That, and the more I alt F4 against only things like 10+ man zerg that chase me for 10+mins just to have a chance at a badge, the more complaints will be sent to anet, and hopefully they will add an internal logout timer. Until then, I shall keep denying badges to players that are obviously bad and don’t deserve any. If you think you deserve a badges against me while I am solo, come alone and try to take it from me!
Obviously, all the review bombing of my vids is because ppl hate ME and not the vid itself, I can see that now. That’s too bad, I was hoping that it was maybe something concrete/technical I could improve on in future vids. Instead, it’s more like “we don’t like you, so that automatically means whatever art/etc you create must be bad, herpderpderp”. I know this, because these are the only 2 recently linked vids on this forum, and the rest show an entirely different watched/likes/dislikes pattern.
So keep on hating haters, but make sure to watch the very end of vid 8 – that’s what it comes down to, when you become irrational.

Everything’s still a mystery? The total scores are almost never a factor of 5, those other points must be coming from somewhere besides 15min territory ticks.
I’m very curious about all the other methods to obtain score points. Flags, yaks, is there anything else? And maybe confirming whether distance to destination affects yak score, and by how much?
Trahearne highlights the main problem with the PERSONAL story of gw2. Which is that the player isn’t really portrayed as a hero, and half the instances are filled with random filler npc armies. There’s no Duke Nukem style epic combat, there’s no “I took down the entire demon army on my own, I’m that good and everyone knows it”.
Without this component, there’s not enough of anything else in GW2’s writing/stories to captivate a person’s mind. It’s not like this game can be compared to reading Conan the Barbarian’s exploits, filled with violence, humor and shocking insight into human nature.
So really, since the game lacks any sort of good writing, aside from certain well-made npc dialogue, it badly needs the Conan/Duke Nukem/Bruce Lee element to actually impress/captivate.
…IMHO, since other players use alt F4 ALL the time, I’m justified in using it every time I’m out numbered, especially if I get chased by 10+ for 5mins (that almost always happens, if I survive and have to run). Nothing like saying eff you to badge-hungry skill-less zerg than leading them on a 10-20min chase and then restarting client once they get lucky on immobilize/cc. If you want to condemn me, go ahead, but I doubt you’d also agree that zerg deserve to get a badge off me when I’m solo.
Slic, you’ve inspired countless thieves and have skills, but you’ve become kind of angry and jaded since your first vid’s, what’s up?
I actually agree with your ALT-F4 diatribe. Solo’ing successfully requires substantially more confidence, skill and focus than following a mob. I do the same thing, especially if a zerg appears out of no where thanks to GW 2’s awesome network throttling designed for 1995 28.8kbps modems. And I don’t feel bad. Maybe I should, but sorry, you didn’t earn anything.
I’ll sometimes ALT-F4 if I’m in control of a 1v2+ and Last Refuge dicks me over. I feel a little bad then, since the enemies didn’t do anything wrong, but my rage at losing because of a poorly designed minor trait that is guaranteed to randomly kill me regardless of what I or my enemy does is overwhelming.
Hey, don’t get me wrong, if it wasn’t instant queues, I definitely wouldn’t be restarting the client. Like I said, it’s not just because of my intrusive sense of justice. When there are no WvW queues, it’s actually faster and less hassle for me to restart the client than to wait for death and a respawn prompt. Plus, it adds to the ever-growing list of complaints, so that maybe anet will actually do something about it.
Also, I don’t really make money anymore, so this saves a ton on the repair costs (3 deaths = same cost as buying 30mins worth of consumables). If I still had all the gold I spent on the legendary, then I wouldn’t even care. But, after I crafted Quip, I started to mind, since soloing doesn’t really reward you with a lot of gold. Badges, sure. Gold? No.
So really, it’s a combination of things aligning, including anet’s silence/neglect of this issue.
P.S. Due to anet’s decisions, everyone that has played gw2 since launch is probably angry/jaded over at least 1 thing.

Yeah, every such video looks really good (oh and btw that Quip sound… man, this probably induces tic and convulsions in your “returning encounters”
).
But the thing is – while WvW is an easy way to have solo PvP fun and I don’t have anything against it, to brag about it and to make videos?.. I dunno.
For the zillionth time, repeating the 3 purposes of a Yippie Kye Yay vid:
1) Entertainment
2) Humor/laughter
3) Showing ways to effectively PvP (in this case, it means KILLING PLAYERS, not killing npcs or taking imaginary objective points)
Don’t knock it till you try it, as they say. Don’t confuse disliking ME with disliking my videos. Some ppl ignore the chaos and action in my videos and only try to point out how good/bad the opponents are, or how supposedly-OP my build’s stealth is. I’d say these 3 purposes are lost on them, and that’s a pity.
I don’t know where you see the ‘bragging’ part. If I was bragging about something, I’d make certain that you’d know it. I’m not very subtle when I do brag.
I’m sure I have an ego (doesn’t everyone?), but that’s not the reason I’ve agreed to continue to make/upload vids. If I didn’t get so many requests for more vids after like the 5th vid, I probably wouldn’t have continued playing until the Feb update.

To be honest I would be more interested in watching if this a VoD highlighting the minority classes of PvP namely Necro, Engineer and especially Ranger
watches Thieves kill players in PvP is nothing unusual in fact its a given
Ah, another one. I’m too lazy to link all the other class vids, from other players. But. If you want to watch, say, a berserker-geared mesmer go at it:
There’s just a bunch of vids of all sorts of things. Dagger eles 1v2+ ing, you can dig up stuff like bunker engies/guardians, etc. I might eventually do a video of my alt necro’s zerker/well-spike, since I can stability shroud-stomp.
(up, but still processing, HD 720p should be up within the hour, sorry)
I promised a 10th, and here it is. For those of you who actually think p/d is OP, I include 2 duels vs p/d users. I typically kill them last in a 1v2+ (if they don’t run while I’m finishing their buddies). But here, I show you how to read their movements without relying on sight alone.
It will likely be my last vid for a while, until I see what they do with gw2 on Feb. Haters goan’ hate, but I’ll keep on clownin’.
As seen in the video – am I psychic to camera turn towards the direction enemies WILL unstealth at? Maybe. OR! maybe I just see their patterns, or know where they HAVE to unstealth if they want to be a threat. Food for thought for all the haters/whiners/naysayers: there IS a learning curve to all this! Fight with your mind, not just with your body.
Yeah, sorry, looks like that site’s runes are broken.
I use 2 afflicted, 2 centaur, 2 krait (45% bleed duration). All gear is carrion prefix.
Armor is Carrion? Runes?
For all my vids, build link is always in the video description (hit the expand button).
How is it possible that all the players in that video look like complete and incompetent players?
Iunno, but they weren’t AFK, or lagging a lot, or anything like that. Some ppl just get confused/panic/etc when they’re losing, who knows.
I also do about 3-5 (unique) inputs a second during combat (not counting the cam turning), so unfortunately the entire picture will never be conveyed.
Especially when I get (anonymous) review bombed in half my vids by ppl who are mad at me (and not the actual video).
Cool 6 haters/ppl who died in vid 8 have watched it! Funny enough, it never changes on youtube – ppl who like comment WHY they like, but ppl who DON’T like and/or downrate never comment. Like they’re ashamed or scared or something. What are you scared of in online social media?
EDIT: 7 (ic u don like my message to u at teh very end of vid 8???)
Just saw 9 was fun thanks! Man you make your enemies look so bad…I mean its one thing to win but you make them look like complete tools lol
Heh, that’s because almost everyone IS a complete tool. They’re made of 100% social networking/friends/gear/looks.
I’m happy to say, with the Quip, I only look/sound like a tool in-game.
Which runes/sigil do you use?
In WvW gear?
Still using agony and corruption for combat, I haven’t found anything better. I use 50% endurance refill on swap on my running sets (d/d or sb).

I know this guy, like to go solo, but also like to use Alf+F4 when he went downed.
Haha yeah, I’ve restarted client, but only when I got zerged. Over the past week, literally ALL my deaths were to zerg/bigger numbers, not a single loss 1v1 or with even numbers (except to this 1 JQ thief this morning, because I was being bad/sleepy
).
IMHO, since other players use alt F4 ALL the time, I’m justified in using it every time I’m out numbered, especially if I get chased by 10+ for 5mins (that almost always happens, if I survive and have to run).
And, it was actually faster for me to reload client than wait for death and do repairs. Queues have been instant the entire time I’ve been filming.
If there’s several enemies and I’m alone, the odds are usually very, very stacked. I’ve found that if they predict me at all, 1 stunbreak won’t save me. In these kinds of fubar scenarios, I prefer to chance it and bring other stuff.
EDIT: vid 9 is now up as well.
EDIT EDIT: For vid 8, those of you who are Korean will probably appreciate the last song choice. It’s been stuck in my head for so kitten long that I even looked up the english/russian translations for its lyrics. Great melody, great lyrics!

Quip in PvP? Is this Madness? No. This is Grind Wars 2!
Will upload a 10th soon. Other than that, don’t know if I’ll make more. Once again, will see.
(vid 9 might still be processing – if so, it should be up in 1-2hrs)
Ever wondered who’d be crazy enough to craft The Quip and then actually use it in PvP? Ever wondered if it’s possible to go Rambo in WvW? Ever ponder the meaning of life?
Well, these vids might not answer all your questions, but have a look just in case!
Str8 clownin’ since launch. As a bonus, the end of video 8 includes a thorough, academic response to all the haters – be sure to watch it!
