Good way to annoy the heck out of people with condtions
Use withdrawal, roll for initiative, and signet of agility + shadow meld. Makes you a sniper with decent evade
A lot conditions need to be met for that damage to go through
- Mark to have less cast time
- Mark generate malice faster by default if you are fighting in melee range (360)
- Movement speed reduced by 50% in kneel instead of 100%. When you can’t move at all, the 1500 range is actually much less than you’d think it would be. And when none kneeling the skills are just too average/weak to engage dynamically unless 4 takes much less initiative.
- Mark needing a target “is” kind of a nerf because steal lets you gain those effects/boons without target..

Yeah this is kind of annoying, it can easily go on CD without you benefiting from the trait. But remember this is also how CD works on many sigils, like remove condition goes on CD even if it didn’t remove any condition, as long it procs. I think it’s not a really comfortable design because many cases you can’t even prepare for it with any skill involved
how was this fixed? i’m encountering it as well, support page very unsupportive
The only way is to flow with the balance patches, currently the best dungeon is just do your fractal dailies, 21, 27 , 40 in 20 minutes..etc..etc

Tablet is good, but the radius is way too small, something like 300 then we are really talking about something worthwhile

Of all the development effort in the past years since launch, it does surprise me that they still refuse to implement build save features.
It’s common for maps to become empty in MMOs, the solution is to pick a few maps every week and let players have bonus exp / drop in that map (scaled to ur player level), which makes it into a weekly event thing to encourage player to play on maps whether its high/low level
Crafting system is really boring, I wish more gamification can be applied to it

You don’t need aeromancer’s training, uses inscriptions instead (air staff is low dps so yo udon’t need the CDR, and you don’t need the precision in there either, since your main output is in fire and water)

The sand squall one is really good if it procs without warhorn? Sounds OP already to have magnetic aura for 5s every 10s… makes no sense to me.
Overload makes it easy to set up various builds and still have decent output, as you are not ONLY reliant on the weapon choice anymore, something that holds the ele back, now you always have consistent overloads to dish out damage.
Downside it overloads are all melee based so if you don’t trait for stability, you have to expect to take a lot of damage (can’t dodge) or get interrupted.
Its the fun build right now, but anet promised to rebalance the meta every now and then in there “future of gw2” post, so you can buy new rune sets and destroy old ones. Inject economic flow in a sense. (Spend more $$
confirmed you can get permanent vigor if dodged correctly which replaces the old ways
when the thief takes more than 33% of its maximum, it evades that attack and consumes 75 endurance (150% more than a normal dodge)
I don’t really get HGH nerf either, maybe it was easy to burn someone to death super quick from stealth while having 25 stacks

I mean, I guess its equivalent to the warrior trait where you dodge and then aoe damage around yourself, this one just felt natural as a ground target to me due to the animation. But since people are so shocked about this idea, maybe its not as natural as I thought

Since you’re leaping away when you dodge, you’d rarely land the damage of the dodge on the target you’re fighting unless you’re really lucky.. Would be really could if the dodge was ground targeted so you can pick where you landed :O
it’s good, they did put good effort into it, just in the process of balancing it out. they didnt add some essential stuff like save builds or rune sets somehow, which i thought was really lame, but i know they will get there.

Function Gyro is really cool… sure the only use in PvE is reall to rez people, but I find that a huge in dungeons and what not. If anything I find the getting super speed and 1 stack of might trait is a bit underwhelming.
Other gyros are interesting, but yeah i’m not a huge fan of the lightning speed/superspeed playstyle, it might make sense if its superspeed (2s) + 1s of quickness
As I scrapper I just function gyro them and keep on running, a friendly scrapper in the neighborhood
Precursors should be obtainable in crafting themed jumping puzzles, where portals are disabled, and after carrying out such ritual for an adequate amount of time, the precursor chest will reveal itself.
If I see a shadowscale vet I just run away, and that’s coming from someone with self confidence

People keep losing focus here, the problem is AMR doesn’t recharge the charged version of AED, not the 90s cd vs 10cd of AMR.
and here i thought overcharge only reduces the CD by 25%

Stimulant supplier also doesn’t feel good, it’s a crappy GM trait, in the end you only go this line for HGH, or you really wanted protection injection and backpack regenerator, and settle with iron blooded; but you won’t truly be happy, because the design is flawed
Iron blooded needs to feel good, every trait should make you feel good, but they don’t.
In this case Iron blooded should provide something like this:
-2% damage reduction for every unique boon you have
-2% condition duration reduction for every “stack” of condition you have
It won’t be OP , because you will be taking a ton of damage if you have 10 stacks of total condition on you, 20% condition duration reduction won’t really save you from anything, but it just feels better. It’s all about the feelz!

bomb kit is better for melee than tool kit, where grenade kit is a more flexible melee to midrange option but also harder to hit if your opponent is a player and can kite you well at range
tool kit is more of a pvp kit where you try to pull people in and prybar, in pve its only good for blocking some random dungeon attacks instead of dodging, i dont think anyone really uses it to fix turrets
this idea is good, it works, although i wonder if they will just make their afk bots go fix their armor again and walk back to the location, it doesnt seem that hard compare to the wvw bots ive seen running around
