No real solo queue makes this patch useless, it’s so easy yet they don’t make it happen, I can’t understand them .

I completely agree, it would revive 8 team tournaments.

What I advice is 50 silver for first position, 25 for 2nd and nothing for others.

if i can suggest you something without being flamed, i say you should try to play some thief vs thief to learn to be faster.
as a CG thief you die to almost everything. so the faster you are the longer you live.

0.3s might be the right reaction time infront of a PC, but reacting =/= acting, it takes like 0.5s to press the button after realizing you’re gonna get destroyed.. so it makes a 0.8s total to react and act agains’t a good thief.. very small place for mistakes idd

It’s true tbh, the PvP side of this game isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t call this game GW2, instead GW 0.25.

SOTG is pointless, alot of things are said (even if it’s mostly “we can’t talk about that”) but nothing happens.

True PvP consists of tournaments (competitive PvP), if you want to avoid duels, go in these. Hotjoin is subpar PvP and as you said is mostly used for duels, testing and farming rather than competitive PvP.

I’ve tried the soloQ now. I was up versus premades 7 out of 10 tries.

But hey, I don’t deserve my high rating because I was not able to carry all of those games!

Anyway, it’s PAINFUL to see that arenanet added in ‘’join solo’’ button, they have a system where you have to have a full premade to join, they have two seperate matchmakings for the 3 man and 1 man que but STILL DON’T JUST MAKE A SOLOQ WITH THIS.

Make the 3 man map 1v1 aswell and make it ‘’join solo’’ only with its own matchmaking. Finish it off by making the other que ‘’join as full premade only’’ It’s okay that we can’t duo yet, we can wait for that. But at least let solo players play without having to fear full premades.

Seriously, having two different ques, one with a 3 map rotation that requires teams as a workaround because you don’t have a random map generator, something nintendo64 games have is TRAGIC.

To be honest we got so much PvP content that I can’t remember a single one of them.

Its all about luck, some people get light orrian armor in first try, i wasted around 30 token for 1 .

A well played ranger, with almost any build is unbeatable 1v1, too many dodges.

When they balance underwater skills, replace the unusable utilities/elites, add stomp, make it attracting, why not.

Why would I do that ? I kittening paid for this game, I deserve the same attention as PVE players, this game was so hyped, ANET themselves said PvP was gonna be awesome esports etc, I bought the game with the hope of having GOOD PvP which I didn’t get, so I call this false advertisment.

From what I can see, in the past there was barely NO update to PvP whatsoever, besides adding paids (wow how big update)

So yeah, before gw2 I never played in a anet dev’d game yet, and this is a huge disappointment

So I’m asking this to you, Anet Staff(if you will ever reply): If you knew you wouldn’t support/dev PvP not much(if not at all), why didnt you make this game PvE only ?

In my opinion, being able to chain these 3 skills in a second and make it look like only 1 skill is casted is NOT intended, it should be fixed because right now, this combo only makes Thief a must whereas Warrios are left over.

But there is a problem, if this Thief combo is fixed, no one will be able to kill good Bunker eles 1v1 anymore.. maybe a very good mesmer ? Even then it’s unlikely

It’s extremely hard to catch up people who macro.

Then, there is two cases of macro:
- Something you download for the purpose of macroing
- Something you get with your mouse etc, why would you use something you paid for ?

Thats why they can’t just find/ban everyone who ‘macros’

If we don’t get solo queue/ladder in february at least, I’m afraid PvP wont be able to revive anymore .

Underwater combat can wait until ground combat is fine.
