My god those armor sets are…. we’ll I don’t want to be rude but they’re just not good. For the love of god can we get light armor pants without a butt-cape and medium armor without a trench-coat?

I was literally about to write a very similar post. Other than the embroidered baggy pants in the pic above, there isn’t a single pair of light armor pants that doesn’t have some type of skirt or buttcape over top. Please just one! Make it a gem store skin, pants only idc!

I happened to get lucky yesterday and get the skritt half completed of honorary crew member, and also completed execute the executioner. I found a multi-map squad that was trying to find one map willing to fail. Once we got about 40-50 people in one map, we scaled the event so hard with no one participating in killing, that it did eventually fail. The event for execute the executioner happened shortly after the failure, I believe it was a bit south and east of the town itself. I managed to tag one of the torchbearers and got credit, but the event was over in literally 30 seconds.. maybe even less. A lot of the zerg said they didn’t get credit. After that the zerg went to the ship to await the skritt event, I think we had 60 people there and were able to kill everything without any supply getting stolen. We waited another 15 minutes and tried the event with the white mantle (Saidra was retaken in that time) and we failed. Yes, a zerg of 60 people failed because some of the runners were dropping portals right on top of the supply. It seems like others have said to be impossible without a very small group.

Not sure if this is really the right place for this, it’s more of a fix then a bug. But it would be really nice if some additional sections could be added to the LFG tool. Perhaps a HoT section (with tabs for VB, AB, TD, and DS). The general “open world content” can get really busy during peak hours and it’s hard to find what you’re looking for.

we used to be able to be anywhere in the world while in the queue. Why do we have to be in hotm?

Is there really no dishonor system right now? So, if someone doesn’t care about the leaderboard at all, they can just rage as much as they want?

That would be nice Evan because some of us care about our win/loss ratio too, not just points/spot on the leaderboard. I don’t think a loss when you only have 4 people (as a solo player) should show up in your loss column when realistically you had no chance of winning.

I’m pretty sure you don’t lose any points if your match ends and you lose with only 4 on your team. I do think that on the leaderboards it still counts as a loss in your “Losses” column, and it really shouldn’t.

I will do unranked with 2 or 3 guild members who are newer to pvp and want to learn, or sometimes even a full group of us. Just because we are a guild group doesn’t mean we are pro

Same for me, I’m either playing a match against people who seem to have never played pvp before and winning 500-90, or I’m playing against a 5 man premade of top 50 players and I have the people on my team who have never played pvp before. You can guess the score in those matches. And that is happening MUCH more frequently than the winning blowout matches.

Sadly even on non “daily engineer winner” days there are still 4-5 engis in every match. But I do agree, I think the daily _ winner is a horrible idea. How about just simply, “daily winner”. A win on any class will satisfy the requirement.

Why does this happen? Both teams confirmed they were all solo players. The match was ridiculous, not fun, and obviously the “most engis wins” mantra was in full effect.

When every ranked match has at least 4-5 engis in it, doesn’t it say that perhaps the class is a bit OP in pvp and needs a looking at. It’s pretty much ‘most engis wins’ at this point and I’ve done enough ranked matches at this point to know it’s true.

Just a suggestion, but the final reward for this should be your choice of carapce armor boxes.

I actually enjoy Skyhammer, and I know quite a few people in game that do also. I’d take Skyhammer any day over Spirit Watch.

Mawdrey II is definitely female. It says something like “She is full” if you try to give her too much bloodstone dust in a day.

This is something that I think a lot of people really want. I have 2 suggestions: First, leave this as part of the very rare loot in black lion chests permanently. I don’t see the harm in this at all. Or, offer this as something that can be bought from the gem store (even if very pricey) and be account bound so it cannot be sold if bought this way.

The OP is saying the pick that gives sprockets is “pay to win” so I’m just informing him that the game is already this way. Pick or no pick.

They need to do 2 things with these:

1. Move the ship to over LA. It makes no sense that it’s still over GF, which is mostly a dead zone now
2. Make the ship not kick you off if you do your daily activity, pvp, or log out while on the ship. Why am I getting dumped on the ground when I have a permanent pass?

I can’t believe the OP is still crying about this. You bought something and then later something better came out. Your original pick still does what it was advertised as being able to do. The new pick does what it was advertised to do. The game is already pay to win, this pick changes nothing. Anet should close this beaten dead horse of a thread already.

This happened again this morning. We were still able to kill the invisible Tequatl but we only got 3 chests since one of the battery phases was skipped. And yes, it started because of a huge burn during the first phase.

I know this post is old, but my searches didn’t come up with any real response. As a player that started after the update it bothers me that I have only one boss achivement left blank that is impossible to complete. Couldn’t this be updated to count as completed if you successfully fire the megalaser during a Teq kill?

I like the idea of when it’s 5 vs 4, the team with 5 should always have one player stay dead and not respawn until someone else dies (and then they remain dead until someone else dies). It’s not completely fair because some classes can stay alive forever (thieves) but at least it would give the team of 4 some chance.

I wonder if they covered up the glass panels or made it so they didn’t break the map would be more enjoyable? You could KB in certain places, the hammer especially, but there would be a lot less rage. I think the idea of the map is not bad, there are just too many places to fall from…

Also, why why why does the party chat get cleared??

After the uproar over the watchwork pick, I don’t think we will ever see it or another tool like that again.

What about the other 9 people that were doing PvP? They were punished by her wonky computer crashing. I’ve had the occasional crash while in PvP and i’ve never once been given the dishonorable condition. If someone is frequently crashing they probably shouldn’t be doing PvP.

I’d much rather have more weapons than armor. Not sure why people are complaining. Forge or salvage those weapons you don’t need! Use the tokens you get to buy more armor if you want it.

I have screenshots of both times my match ended in a tie. Both times I was on red and we “won”!

Hey guys.. not sure if this is the right place to ask this. Anyways, I had an ascended staff on my ele and pre-patch I wanted to transfer the staff to my mes so I transmuted white stats onto it and placed it in my bank. I forgot about it, and now post patch the staff has the appearance of the ascended staff but the stats of the white item it was transmuted with. I had a splitter in my bank also, but when I went to use it it just added 5 charges to my account. Can I get the ascended stats back on this item?

Why should it be a secret? Your level isn’t hidden in PvE. Your APs aren’t hidden in PvE. Why hide this?

I’m sure if they were ending Karma there would’ve been a parade and an in-game “end of karma” event to ensure everyone was well aware.

I think an in-game mail would have been very nice. “Hey, glory will be removed along with the vendor as of 4/15”. I mean, hire me for 20 seconds and I’ll do it for you next time.
