I had that bug as well and looked through the bugs forum. Someone has found a solution that managed to fix it for me.

Go re-commune the Hero Point that is east of Faren’s Flyer Waypoint. Even if you have already gotten that one and is says you earned the points. Go re-commune that hp and it will give you the Coztic Bladedancer points.

Champion coztic bladedancer the hero point by Treacherous Path Waypoint thats south west of map on Verdant Brink map.
Do any one have any problems with this. You do the event to kill him, get a chest and message you got the hero point but when you look on map you not got it.

I kind of feel if we had kill it on day 1 of living story coming out then Anet not doing there job.

The point is to keep you working it out and keep you at it for a bit longer. When one works it out one then have more fun at it.
There way too many who wants to eat the cake right away with out taking your time to enjoy. When that happens they take the fun out of game for others.

Arborstone you was very unlucky tonight at hills on AS BL.

I was afk there and if I had come back 2 mins later I be dead and you might of got hills north inner gate down before any one come to stop you.

You lost 1 Omega Siege Golem and 3 Alpha Siege Golem which was unlucky to but you also lost a lot more then that on map. You lost one in your garrsion that we owned. you should of wp it. I was able to get both gates up while you was busy in lords room. Too many of your lot went down to fast.

Ring of Fire ~ Blacktide ~ Arborstone again. 2 weeks in a row, cant be fun for some.

Blacktide was a surprise with there numbers and I see Arborstone pull it out of the bag too with numbers. I can see this week being fun.

no, its a simple statement. we fought RoF already last week, and even on reset, there weren’t that many of you. (and of us for that matter). and about defending garrison, ask ranik sometime

The Halloween event the reason a lot of ROF was not on last week. Some took time out till the season started. We already knew who was in the bronze league, loseing or gaining points did not matter as it would not of made any diffrents. Of us who was fighting you last week (or some of us) we was there for the fun and not the win.

That’s what this game should be about is fun.

I think the problem is that (someone correct me if I’m wrong here) alt + f4 quits and deny’s the stomp, under the bloodlust buff you get 1 point per stomp so it actually cost your server points, especially if this is done by lots of people, so in my eyes it’s an annoying exploit that anet will hopefully do something about.

But in the meantime I think it’s just another exploit used by certain shameful players. It probably goes on on all servers so the sooner anet fix this the better.

Also if you do it right you can map to way point fast if your not in combat while running. Something we all done before.

@ Shadowresli please note it’s not just ROF who whine, every server do even your’s. You can’t be ban for whining, just don’t look good on one own server to whine. But good point from you.

Also @ them 8 DL who tryed to take Cragtop on ROF BL last night. Nice try but with just 2 of us there at a T3 it was not going to be easy. I do belive only one got away nice one. Still trying to work out why 2 of you was running around bottom of tower for about 20 mins or so. While you was doing that we took the camp back.

When you added on our fight against DL at bluewater lowlands, you were more than 20.
Same goes for the fight between your spawn and longview. Think you’re the one miss counting, especially seeing you had guests players tonight, some had a different guild tag, can’t remember which one exactly tho. You’re zerging just admit it :p

If you mean guesting from another server then nope. Unless they change it, then you can’t do that. Guesting from one server to another server made it so you can’t join wvw and it was done for a reason so one can’t use it as a cheap way to join another wvw.

Ya we had that on EB for a good few hr’s.
Commander did a good job with what number’s we had. As soon as all commander’s on EB log off then that was when we lost our T2 keep. That was more down to no one at the keep but else where on map. I let commander on ROF know but by time they and others come it was too late.
DL must of pull a lot to EB to take the keep at there was about 30+.

We did have fun on EB, owned SM for about 5 mins lol

Not enjoying this at all. Yet again we’re up against a server 5 or 6 levels higher than we are, with hourly coverage that we just can’t match. I’m not here for the open field fights and I simply refuse to follow the commanders who go for a run looking for blob fights.

Unfortunately the rewards in WvW are still wildly rewarding for the zerg, with sweet boom all for defense minded players.

Your not even on ROF server any more. I understand you went back to the german server and if you are still in ROF then non of us have seen you in wvw in a very long time..

So why worry about something your not even part of any more.

Sound to me like GH challenge UW lol. but then again UW wont take it up any way lol

There seem to be a lot of player who just don’t understand and wont.

This is a game and if your not having fun in a game, one just leave to play something else.

You make the fun out of a game as best you can and try to understand even if you get throwing from one frying pan to next.

You get out of that fire by trying to make the fun of it, even if you our out numbered by more fires. Then you keep putting them fires out one by one and have fun.

Just to add. If you give up then your helping them make the fires and taking the fun from others.

I noticed that as well. Tomoorow I found a few people at the waypoint at our citadel and I’ve seen them there yesterday. Now, 5 hours later, they are still at the same spot.

Tomorrow we acountered a Vabbi player fighting a group of 5 ROF guys. They told us they were “duelling” and be in the same party. One of my party members asked him, how chars on different servers can be in the same party and the replied, they had created those alts.

Of course this could be a joke, but how would they know about the chars? (and: yes, I got screen shots)

You can very easily join a party on another server in wvw. Also you can talk to a player on another server. Just like one can join a party while guesting on another server in pve.

Was nice to see Vabbi and FOW working as a team. Keep that up please.
I even hear some ROF players wish to change servers to help you and make this week more fun. You both should try and take EB at some point when not many ROF players are on.
I cant work out what part of the map you could siege as a team with out npc to attacking one of you. But would get us to attack you. Maybe the ruins between Redbriar tower and Greenlake tower. But would be a long way to get back for one side if you died and could not get back. Or do it at same place but on ROF BL as then your have a wp close by. If you did this then at this point a ROF commander should tell all ROF players to not attack you south of the ruins so you could get in.

Also come on ROF players let them take the keeps on EB so they can enter the jp and join us doing the jp as friends not fighting in there. lol

Yup…I think that’s the best thing you can do. Already impossible when 2 servers clash (15-20 second skill lag at least). If you have all 3 servers inside SM for example you can just Alt + F4 cause even auto attacking is impossible.

I know it has been bad in the past, but this current performance is really pathethic. Just shut WvW down until your servers can handle the player numbers or limit it to 10 players per server or so…but if you let this game run like that is an insult for every player who bought this game.

There 2 good servers at the bottom Vabbi and Fissure of Woe that could do with help. Move your guild to one of them and help them. This will mean lass lag for you and maybe more fun on a different level.
As a ROF player fighting them this week, I am sure they be happy to have you. There a good lot also and very loyal to there server.

its sad seeing all these changes, although GH won both weeks we fought you (the second week by a lot because of [Krew] and their nightcapping) At primetime across all borderlands there was epic fights no, one server was better than the other it was literally the perfect matchup. then of course free transfers ruined this as RoS got the influx of t1 guilds. so all I can say is I for one will be hoping to meet you two servers in the same matchup in the future!

Cap Plox you was having just too much fun last week outside SE keep of EB, when you solo a group of enemy on your own. I don’t belive you wanted any one to join you from rof.

But yes I agree with your post and I do hope they put us with 2 servers that match us or out match us a bit or a lot of players will not bother playing on wvw any more. All this week been good for is the PVE player to get there 100% map done on wvw. I my self now got all 6 characters done and even was fun to own our own JP in eb. I even seen a lvl 25 in the jp as it was that safe for them.

Today, we’ve finally played against Ring of Fire, we’ve tried our best to over come their numbers, but its impossible. They’ve got spies on our server. Its also annoying to be put against such a high populated server. They’ve got queues just to enter into Vabbi & Fissure BL’s.

I want to know why the developers want to punish vabbi & fissure, are you seriously trying to make us leave our server? what your doing is pushing your customers away from the game. I spend quite alot of money buying gems off your gems store. I support your game, I expect some support back to vabbi aswell. We aren’t defeated yet, but we cant win either.

I have to agree with what you said. It is unfair on both your server’s and we have had it many times our self’s. Blacktide did it to you also last week.

You are a lot luckier then you think, lots of players on ROF our not playing this week and a few guilds wont come to wvw this week.

It have been fun on wvw when we are fighting FOW on there map like last night. As soon as we took one tower they took other back. This went on for some time. ROF players said let them take just so we can take it back and have some fun with them. I can tell you now FOW players give us a good fight and even stop us for some time trying to take a tower. Also last night at north camp both FOW and Vabbi where working as a team to fight us and our lot enjoy that.
I can tell you now that at one point for over a hr till I went to bed, ROF was outmanned on all borders and you could of very easy took a lot of EB.

The answer really is more then a few ideals.
1/ One you move to another server. This you don’t want to do and why should you.
2/ More big guilds move over to your server. But the thing is they wont.
3/ As said above by another player merge both EU/NA.
4/ Remove WVW from 3 server’s and give them a few free ticket to move to another server as and when they ready to.
5/ Change it so maybe bottom 6 server play on one wvw that pair up so you still get 3 side’s. For this to happen you will need to open the pop queue on each map more and open a new chat for commanders only, that can chat one one chat open to all commanders on all 4 maps.

for number 5 that would make Ring of Fire, Fissure of Woe, Vabbi, Whiteside Ridge, Dzagonur and Blacktide on one wvw.

Also would be nice if the developers come on and played with maybe a bit more power then us and able to change sides as and when to try and make it more fair for the side that need it. That would also be fun for us too.
FOW and Vabbi should team um more and have fun.

We happen to pick to taking SM (when both of you was fighting at Ros bay and Garrsion) with about 10 players. I was on ROS BL at the time to keep a eye on when you done and kick Dzag off.
I was chatting to a ROS player who happen to say we on ROF are annoying and also annoying because we was not doing a lot to stop Dzag. A bit hard to stop a tank when out numbered but we give it a try and are commanders do a good job of working miracles.
We maybe going down a tier next week but we will come back strong or die having fun.

Don’t matter if one lose as long as one have fun.

I can’t believe how much Dzagonur been attacking Ros and yet Ros don’t seem to do a lot to attack them back, other then to get back what they lost or on EB.
I seen Dzagonur take Ros garrsion and keep’s but don’t seem to turn that around and attack Dzagonur Garrsion back. Yet when Ros do go to Dzag BL, it’s to take a tower or 2 but can’t hold it for long.

That’s mean’s Ros lost 48.844. Dzag gain 35.850 and Rof lost 14.958.
So them 8 guilds that join Ros server have they left or something? and have they now join Dzag?. Because I see more Dzag then they had a few weeks ago and less Ros then a few week’s ago.

As for Rof we all know it’s down to Low pop on wvw.

Still not forgot the 40+ Dzag who attack Rof Garrsion while 5 try to defended and as I was told by someone in Ros about the same number 40+ attack sm. Both attacks where at around same time. That work’s out to be over 80 easy and that was in early hour’s of the morning . Mind you I have seen a lot of 40+ Dzag attacking .

Wont be long before Dzag go up to tier 6 and Underworld come down.
Mind you Rof will go down to tier 8 as Gunner’s hold come up.

Ros with there old friend’s Gunner’s Hold fighting Dzagonur. now that could be fun.

It was only about 4 week’s ago (20-26 April) that Dzagonur was down in Tier 8.

Dzagonur did defended good at hill’s with lot’s of siege to help them. Took 2 to 3 hours to remove Dzag. Must of cost a lot with all that siege they had. They seem to have a lot of money to spend.

Have a good Easter weekend all for them who do have a Easter.

Looks like in next round we got Gunnar’s Hold joining us and Dzagonur. At one point this week ROF did drop and ROS jump up but next day that changed. I even seen Dzagonur drop to at one point.
It is so close between ROS and ROF in points that any thing can change.

Looking at how it stands come reset. Both whiteside and blacktide will be facing Ruins of Surmia.
Ruins of Surmia have a lot more players then Ring of fire by about 50% or more and they where able to cover times that ring of fire where not on.
This could mean your have a lot of good battles or playing cards in Lion Arch as there wont be a lot you can do to save the map.
They will sure own all EB and there own BL.

Don’t worry as we at Ring of fire will have a lot of work to do in the tier above you. Will be fighting Dzagonur and Abaddon’s Mouth.

Dzagonur the server who use to only fight Ring of fire and not worry about what the own. As for Abaddon’s Mouth they drop 2 ranks and I dont know much about them other then they did lose a lot of guilds at some point.

That is if all above stay as it is but that can easy change.

Is it me or do Blacktide have a lot more players then they use to have. That’s all I seen from reset and now today. Not see a lot of WSR and I know they got players.

While this afternoon I come on to wvw on my not so good thief.
We was fighting with Blacktide and was having some kitten good fun. Arborstone turn up but was stuck in between both us and BT and so did not stay for to long.
The fight between Blacktide and ROF was changing, dieing on both sides.
That was good and fun. We took the tower back off you in end on our BL but maybe we should of let you keep it for a lot longer, just so both sides could have more fun.

Would be nice to see more of that.

If only there was one map with 3 towers on it that could not be taken and no Legendary Defenders to guard it. A map that could not use siege weapons as there was no point. With maybe runes, builds and good landscape just for cover. Ideal being so we could fight each other for the pure fun and the players come on there just for that reason and not to camp each other tower, so you could not get out. Maybe even Arenanat could have events of some sort run on there now and then. I am not talking a pvp map but maybe a place to take the boredom away from wvw but being still part of wvw.
I am sure it would be so much fun and every one would in enjoy it.

Was fun tonight. Was good seeing Hawk fighting with us, while not being in good health.

I do hope we see more even numbers from both Arborstone and Blacktide this week, as we all need some good fun fight and I bet we will.

A while back Anet reduced confusion damage in sPvP by 50 percent because it is simply overpowered when used against other players. I see more and more mesmers spamming confusion in WvW that causes 1-2k damage per ability use. This is simply too much damage for a condition that can trigger 3-4 times per second. They should add the 50% reduction to WvW.

Are you saying yo cant win v a mesmer ?

Mesmer’s die to easy and so need something to help them. I only seen a few good mesmer that can take on a lot of players and win.

If you take that away from a mesmer what can they give them to help them, (thinking a long the lines of take and give to belance them) ?

Was nice to see Blacktide come out and fight more. We need to see more of the so as to have a good 3 way fight and keeps the fun going all week

There no point fighting over who got a bigger server and who not.
Right now I say XT bigger then all of ROS wvw players put to gather but I could be wrong.
If you out number both servers then your going to make use of that, don’t matter which server you are. If a server got more then both servers then there not going to say “a come on lets not play so much this week” just to make it fair. Would not be fair on that server. Being out numbered is all part of the game and we have to put up with it. A server who out number both will get bored at some point in week as they not have a lot to do.
The point of wvw is to enjoy the game best way one can, even if out numbered.

As for ROF at reset we did not for some unknown reason have the numbers we usually do. A lot of us on rof where wondering where the others where. A bit odd that to be fair. You can take a horse to water but cant make it drink, as the saying go.

I log on about 1pm to find we was fighting to keep what we had and trying to take Hills back. Was not going good amd a lot of rof players just seem to go off for the fight then stick with the commander. ROS was useing there numbers to do a good job.
You talk about DEX above and I seen just one of them and to be fair all he did was run away a lot. Even when there group out number us. That maybe down to him not having good gear and weapon on him and so being carefully.

So lets all stop fighting on forum and save the fight for the battlefield. Lets enjoy the game even if we get out numbered or all not.
Lets make it a fun week if we can. So enjoy and see you on the Battlefield.

Ohh btw if your not having fun in wvw then go pve or spvp and try to have fun. Stop worrying over if we are losing or winning.

With the numbers ROS got now as to what they use to have, I am very surprise they don’t wish to move up a tier. I am wondering why ?

Really so Xaoc who use a exploit to get in to Ring of Fire Bastion, when we had took it back and made sure it was clear of mesmer then had reinforce walls and reinforce doors up for only to have one GH use the while known exploit and then portal players inside and take inner gate down in less then a few mins. I add the Reinforce gates down in less then a few mins. This is the same guild who known to use exploit and was turn down by many servers for that reason.
If only we had had the proof to show it but as some our too slow to think of it then that wont happen.

While good luck Gunner’s Hold for when you move up a tier or 2 and come back down so fast that you lose a lot of Guilds again.

Seem now you out number both WSR and ROF.

I will add nice job of tactical team work. I knew GH would come in behind us to Dawn’s while our lot who don’t seem to hear at time’s was busy attacking Garrison, leaving just a few of us to keep a eye on Dawn’s.

@ Neandramathal I wish you luck but if you every feel the need to change server then do think of ROF lol.

PS Could you let us take the wall at Aldon’s Ledge down just so I can get my one last POI and there so complete my 100% map Completion. :P lol

ICON and friends hit WSR BL due to a queue on our own BL.
We took there tower with event then move to take the camp by bay. Good fighting there while we deafened the camp as we treb bay then took it. We move on to take the camp north of there then Longview tower. We move from there to WSR Garrison which at time was own by GH.
After we took the Garrison we was very surprise to see WSR players on top above the champion. Could only take it that GH did not care to look for mesmers or was not very good at finding them. They got wipe by us, I say them because there was about 5 of WSR up there. Someone in GH not doing a good job of looking me think.

In the borderlands though as Ventus said we defiantly felt a lack of numbers.

Icon growing back up. It was Icon who hit GH BL tonight with some help from other ROF with a some Golems and Icon who hit EB and took a lot of the map even SM with help from other ROF players.
Later when lots of Icon log off for bed we then I am told lost SM.
Was fun to see Thermidor leading with Hawk both our commanders in Icon.
