New emotes on norn males are bugged. When using them, name drops to feet and character speaking also speaks from feet. Occurs only with recent 5 new emotes.

This is going to be a little ragepost, but I’m tired of trying to get rid of that thing.

Engineer was made more for roaming I believe. One engineer with a thief wiped 4-men squad of roamers. I was there.

Tho, charrs are not so “hardcore” as norns are. They are soldiers and they know what is needed to protect them from harm. They are bloodthirsty, relentless warriors, but most of all – they are soldiers with common sense.

Bare chests are feature for norns, for sure. But… I disagree. This option would be for all. What would we see? A friggin’ asuras, sylvari, norn and human females with “bare” chests. As long as I have nothing against “bare” chests on females, as I do have against some kind of “wrong” things in this game. Come on, people! Haven’t you heard enough about erp in this game?!

Your pistol simply backfired. Happens, when you load too much of powder or your lock mechanism is broken. Study your weapon and possibly remove the issue.

Of course there are. But let’s take for example uhm… Tequatl. Ranged phase should be used by ranged weapon. And longbow seems nice, but rifle got better damage output

Exactly. In my opinion it’s always good to have any ranged option for sudden combat, which would be too risky, facing with blades. Rifle seems similar to axe itself. Kill shot, just like eviscrate…

I want to play axe/xxx, mostly pve… And I am asking, would it be good idea to go for a second ranged weapon, instead of greatsword?

And if so, which would be better? From my informations, rifle got better damage output, but longbow has more utility, right?

As I know, non charrs may be members of a warband by warband leader’s decision. For example I heard, that Logan is honorable member of Stone warband, but I can’t confirm that.

Have you ever seen a warband, that counted more, than 10? O.o
If so, then norn would be totally overpower, since they are known of being capable to kill the entire warbands alone.

Warbands are not big units.

That’s what I do. When there is some enemy at sideline and it’s elementalist/necro/mesmer/anything, what isn’t guardian I try to break it. And yes, I pull my enemies.

Same question, but I have limited gear choice. Zerker, knight, soldier and rabid. Either weapons and armor.

So, SD would be more fittable for zerg?

Okay, here is the thing: I’ve recently tried WvW. I start to like it, but there comes build… I don’t feel comfortable with condition build – and I have perplexity one. It’s not my style.

So! I’ve created Knight armor; zerker weapon/trinkets sd build.

In small groups I do not bad from middle and long range, when they come closer I bomb them (yet still, stabbing thief cowards tear me apart)

What about single roaming? Well, once leaving valley in EB I met 2 rangers. I killed them both.

I am not sure, what yet I should present, but I want advices. Would it work eventually or it was all just luck?

Regardless, each Legion has same ranks and in eyes of even other Legions should be at least respected as it says.

Yeah, I always feared, how should I mix gear. Like pvt with knight or zerker with knight or… even cavalier! No idea there, I’ll have to try everything out. Tho, on my level it would be better to play more safely, like soldier, right?

Also, I know that for zerg it’s soldier’s gear. Yet, I wonder if something faster to act, than grenades – like for example static discharge build or turret build would be good too?

Would someone advice me with traits for either zerg and roaming? I assume that standard pve nade build isn’t good, there must be a difference.

I have started to play World vs World recently. My main is an engineer, so… I’ve gone there as engineer obviously.

First time, I tried zerg with my guild. Pvt and stuff, grenadier basically. 6, 0, 2, 4, 2 or something around it.
I tried either bombs and grenades, but… I’ve been always ending as a dead one. One of the first dead. I have no clue, how or what should I use in big zerg.

I’ve tried roaming and small group fights! And there it’s a bit better, though I am still learning, how to fight.
I’ve created – as my friend called it – faceroll condi engineer. Perplexity runes, 4, 2, 2, 4, 2… or other combinations, like 6 in alchemy by cost of firearms. Tool kit, Elixir S and bomb kit.
As I said, results’ve been better, tho I am still uncertain, so I am looking for advices. Would you guys help me?

What role could have a warrior in the Iron Legion?

I am Blood Legion frontier, yet I wonder, how does a warrior serve in the Iron Legion, in our turning gear of progress?

His melee combat skills do not quite fit it, yet as a rifleman he is just perfect. Tho, it’s obvious, that cutting warrior’s posibilities just to rifle is bad.

How would a warrior serve there?

Try Rascal for engineer. Or usual choice: One from temples/magitech.

Avarage platoon is ~30 soldiers. May be less, and may be even 50.

Warbands count from even just 3, to even 12 soldiers, and yet I may be wrong. If centurion would command a platoon, he wouldn’t be called centurion, my friend ;x

You think, that the Iron Legion wouldn’t be prepared for ambush? Reactive armors or any other simple device, which uses none of this silly magitechnology, seconded by soldier’s training would be enough to at least avoid it. Then, grabbing a pistol or rifle, which Iron Legion ALWAYS has with them and your plan sucked.
Technology is important, but nothing can replace operator.

Golem? Puhleez. Well producted anti-armor cannon shell, loaded to ’120 caliber cannon. Suck on it, midgets.

What, if norn is to stand against a gun, that is able to simply burn him? Ghostfire shells, remember. As we know from late Orrian Assault, these babies are able to burn everything within it’s path.
And if a norn would charge a charr, armed with such a weapon, it would be his funeral.

It’s no secret, that physical side of norns is simply outstanding. Their bodies may survive more, than bodies of any other living being of Tyria (except for dwarves), but Charr’s strength lies not in a single soldier. Charr’s strength, it’s fierce power and ferocity is heard in thundering guns and and war machines. The Marching Charr army is making the earth itself tremble.

Discipline, duty, loyality. Victory at all cost.

Put your faith in Iron Legion’s Ghostfire shells and cannons. They’ll keep these kitten ed ghosts under control.
Flame Legion won’t give up either. Their false gods will keep them trying to put pressure on us. Even after Baelfire died, they are still restless in their struggle against us. To destroy us – heretics – and bring back their stupid deities.

But, take a note that not every warband is equal to eachother. Either in number, as well as in training and fighting style. If a norn would face let’s say Stone Warband, I am sure he wouldn’t win.

Not to mention Ash Legion warbands, or Iron Legion ones, where either stealth or bigarse guns aid them in combat.
