We all want it, and that’s exactly why it ain’t gonna happen.

No we don’t all want to pay for an expansions with the requisite level cap increase and gear treadmill as ‘must have’ buys.

Who told you expansions mean level cap increase and/or gear treadmill?

Leave him alone some brains cant understand it that expansion doesnt mean level increase, that raid doesnt mean gear grind , that zerker isnt broken etc etc . Just dont waste your time , 90% of gw2 community is pure casuals , gw1 veterans/hardcore players left this game over 1 year ago .

The only thing I hope that Anet will change is their level of difficulty .
So every content they create , they create it quite challenging and then they add story mode option(turn enemies into hp bags without skills) and all casual would be able to finish game for story but people who play it will have something to do .

The only one thing where I can agree with OP is that in gw2 we dont have any challenging,cool,repetitive content . But what we get ?! LS which can be finished in less then 1h, finish it and never come back to this instance . Just nothing to do beyond pvp .

The only one problem is that Level-scaling works really bad . Come on guardian in nomand gear can one shoot enemies on low level maps . It looks really bad .

But I have to admit that level-scaling/gear-scaling is perfect idea but it should work in completly different way . NOT DOWN SCALING PLAYERS but UP SCALING ENEMIES.

I think it is much easier to add different system for players who are level 80 . Up scaling enemies . I think it would work much better casue it is much easier to add extra dmg/hp to mobs then try to downscale few hundreds stats to low level zone .

World vs. World lack of dev attention

The community for WvW is getting smaller each week, I know several former hardcore WvW players who got bored of waiting for updates, and moved onto another game, and ended up taking there friends/guilds with them, they have no desire to return to WvW in this game no matter what happens now, it will eventually hit critical mass where even the highest servers will not bother,

Its a fine line between reward and skill for WvW, if the reward becomes to big PvE players/bots show up to farm it, if its not big enough WvW players get screwed,

The rewards in WvW should be linked to the objectives you take, abit like how MF works in PvE, it could be linked to the title track, ( not exact numbers but you’ll get the idea )

Cap 100 objectives ( xp/karma/wxp/gold gain) increases by 1%
Cap 1000 objectives (xp/karma/wxp/gold gain ) increases by 10%
Just make it that every 100 objectives it goes up 1%

It only affects WvW, and the buff is only affective in WvW, most PvE players will not bother with it, meaning that WvW players are at least getting some sort of buff,

Hopefully some long time players of WvW will have better ideas on bonus etc,

I personally stopped playing WvW when it because very apparent we are not going to see major updates/rewards.

I think that buff gained on www should work in entire game(pve) so it will be motivation to play www casue thank that buff players will earn much more gold/loot in pve .
I also think that www reward track should only work in normal www(no eotm) and should be based mostly on kills(wxp from kills),objectives should be minority on this track . We dont need another eotm on normal www .
I think that passive boosts like that will bring a lot of new players and then maybe anet will see some future for www.

WWW should have bigger influence on PVE but WWW on PVE ! not PVE on WWW.
They should just add some weekly reward track(like weekly matchup) and people would be able to earn there temporary magic find(even up to 300%), increased gold income,karma income,crafting crit chance etc etc. These buffs would be account bound but only for 1 player not server 1 player . No more “I have 200% mf from www and even didnt enter any bl .”
Just think if player would be able to gain extra 300% mf and gold income (would also affect dung rewards so instead 1 gold from cof you would be able to earn 2g per path) much more players will play www.
And we all know that www has big problem casue of population , more people who play everyday can fix a lot of problems which www has right now .

Omg when I read some opinion here I wanna run toward wall and hit it really hard with my head .
Are some people really so dumb and cant understand that zerker isnt broken !

You should always take the most efficient gear,trait to content which you are playing also in any game you dont take 3 healers just to HAVE 3 healers , you take enough healers to keep party alive . If one healer can easly keep party alive you dont take extra 2 ! It is really simple !

In the beginning when people still didnt know all exploits,superior corner stacking etc etc . People were looking for supports,healers but people got better and learnt how to use dodge and other mechanics to survive.So they dont need healers , they preffer to finish dung in 7min instead of 20min.

All anty-zerker whiners just tell me why just why I should take tank healer for ac,cof,se ? hmmm ? Just why ?! I can solo some paths and dont lose 50% of my hp so why I should take support with me ?

JUST BLAME ANET that they cant fix corner stacking , it makes zerkers so easy to run . Try fighting some enemies face to face as zerker , just group of elites on fractal in ascalon , its gona be suicide .

I am new here but Leveling is way to easy. I have never played a game that you could stay in a low level area and gain levels. To me it feels like a cheap way to play. I think it is a bad idea all the way around. I would like to see them make it so this level scaling nonsense was gone. That would make it so you had to move map to keep getting XP to level.

This game was advertised with level scaling as a feature and I think you’ll find most people like it. Here’s the problem.

In most MMOs, everyone stays in the final zones, because there’s no reason to go anywhere else. That means the game is increasingly empty. Why go back to a 40 or 50th level zone. There’s no reward. Nothing is doable there.

In this system you can still take your 20th level character into a 25 level area if you want, but everyone gets a choice.

Your way, only you get a choice.

This way is better. Much better.

Do you know how many times in other games I tried to level with friend and we had to sink up and wait for each other to log in, and then you’d play the character, get too far ahead and couldn’t hang with them?

Do you know how many times in other games I started an alt just to level with a friend?

I don’t have to do that anymore.

The only problem is that scaling works really bad , I can go to ascalon and 1shot eniemies in sentinel gear ,same thing in dungeons under level 80.(you can kill boss in 3 sec o_0 )
I think that they should re build system and make it not downscaling players but upscaling enemies . Much easier to do it and probably it would work much better then current scaling .

It would be great if this NPE sytem were for true new players .
But for people who already have level 80 and obtained traits this system should just be disabled .
So first char = level gating,unlocking traits etc.
next char=no level gating, no trait hunting etc.
This system may be good for NEW PLAYERS but every next char is just pain. Leveling is pain , unlocking traits doing same tasks is a pain .

What if I tell you guys that in Guild Wars it is so easy to get new gear , and reseting traits,skill bar is even easier .ANET MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR BUILD TEMPLATES ?! 2 YEARS,CDI AND STILL NOTHING ?!

Just buy 2/3 armor sets and play how you want , I am not gona run easy dung in pvt armor cause it doesnt make sense ! Full berzerk or die .
I am not gona lead on www in berzerk armor cause it is useless so I switch to pvt gear .
I play content which I dont know aka new LS instance , i take cele/zerk gear to get a bit of survi which will let me to dodge or use some block,blind etc .

Just dont enter zerker,speedrun,gear check lfg and you will be fine .
But the biggest problem are players who want fast rewards but they dont want to play zerker builds . Then yes we see threads like that and people crying about elitism .

The only thing I think Anet has to patch is mob AI , cause come on it is just pathetic when you see 5 elite enemies running to the corner like lambs to the slaughter .
And fix like that doesnt require reballancing entire game just every enemy needs new skill which activates when target is in range but cant direct hit . Some AOE or someting similar to it . Just think players cant pull and stack cause they will get consta aoe on their position , they have to move and fight face to face . It would reduce number of zerkers and make dungs finally harder .

Oh and yes maybe anet will finally release stupid build templates !

Just set some macro on mouse/keyboard like holding button=1000 clicks per second . Many people use it and I am not suprised , come on Anet over 2 years 2 stupid years ! and there is still no option like right click>use(number)>ok and boom rdy, player used exact number. Fixes like that should take place every month not maybe every 6 months.

What about no ?! I dont grind much dungs but I already need only 5 more items from arah . Play pvp , run dungs but dont cry on forums because you cant obtain something in few hours . This achi is fine and 100% doable .

The only thing I would change is giving tokens,gold after every part of the path not in the end . It would prevent selling(runs) and kicking on last boss.

Actually I was thinking about alto-holic vendor .

But lets start from the begining , when you create new character lets call him ‘B’, you have everything locked like every new character . But in LA there would be alto-holic vendor and you would be able to copy progress from different character .
For example char “A” has 79% of map completition , character “B” goes to this vendor and choose option use knowledge of character “A” , and boom he gets same map completition but automatically locks all rewards from map completition (doesnt matter how much % he coppies ).
It would also work with traits,story mode dungs and maybe few more things .

-traits -if char “A” has unlocked trait 1 in first trait line other chars can also unlock it etc

How to make WvW exciting again?

WWW should be main game-mode and it should be strongly connected with pve .
-When you play www you should see notifications from www that your server needs help, that your serv is attacking sm etc etc
- also bonuses from www should be really massive , players who play www should be able to earn 100% mf,10% karma increase,10% gold increase + other stats

Factors like that will bring more players to www and it will force players to play it .

Removing EOTM is too much but BALLANCE anet do you know this word ?!
Maybe just decrease xp/wxp/karma by 70% and remove champ loot bags .
And what we get ?! www overflow map not pve map where 70% of your blob are upleveld/farming/afk/pve players .

And pls dont give us arguments like paste ts ip on chat . People even cant read simple commands like follow,skip and you expect them to enter teamspeak !!
Only built-in voice chat can change something but still ballancing this map is the most important

Decrease AA dmg , decrease cd on skills2345 and increase their dmg to bring back lost dmg . Also all sigils,runes etc should not affect AA .

I also think that rewards should be after every boss .
So for example if dungeon gives 60 tokens+ 1 gold .
We should get divided reward after every boss/crucial part .
So if we have 5 bosses after every boss we get 12 tokens + 20 silver (with daily cool down/time gate).
Change like that will reduce amount of hate and negativity cause you you always get any reward, not like now that after 20 minutes we get nothing casue 1 idiot called kick and another just confirmed it.

And yes in gw people dont read lfg, dont read skill/hud description and they click everything what they can .Once I saw idiot who clicked “go back to desa lab” and others confirmed that cause why not ?! during 3rd fractal on level 50 ! and people still dont know how to use game interface and they were suprised that we are in desa lab

I really have no idea what`s the problem with race change .
This item will work only on chars with finished story mode and who cares about story mode etc etc . after finishing story mode there are no choices or any connections to story mode . People just want to change it for different look . They dont care about everthing else .
I also dont see the problem Anet has .
People want to buy new char slot = good for us more money
People want to switch look =let them another easy money for us .

In my opinion some free trail system will bring benefits to the game just like demo version .
And F2P game doesnt mean gold sellers
Popular game means gold sellers , if gw2 had 6 milion active accounts probably we would have much more gold sellers then now . But we dont have even 1 milion so most gold sellers even dont try . Also gold in gw is useless if you dont craft legendary you caqnt even spend it .

I think that maybe not free to play but something like free access till level 30 to bring new people , they will try spvp/eotm , maybe even dungeon . I also think that monthly sub with benefits is great idea to bring more money . Sub doesnt mean pay to win , you can pay for example for ability to use unlimited golem banker on every char, 8 bag slots on every char(all theses bonuses are activated during subscription ).
Also I dont understand why Anet doesnt take money which people just want to spend .People want build templates – just give one extra tab per 800 gems . People want to use mounts,toys etc . Make toy tab(like mini one ) and let people activate their carpets,brooms,baloons with single key-bind .
But we must remember one thing more money isnt always better/more content and thats what we all want .

Any idea of progress after level/rank 80 is fine for me .
I dont see anything agaist gaining some bonuses on level 80 .I suggested it around 100 times to make www/pvp rank visible for allies and increase rank cap on pvp but what about casual with rank 10 he would feel offended that somebody has higer rank then he does .
People for gods sake it is mmo , we need long term goals not 1111 spamming content .

Yes we need party leader option , I am helping to level my friend who bought gw2 maybe 2 weeks ago and party system just suck . We create lfg "AC p1/p2/p3 all welcome " and people who join, kick my friend becasue he wasnt 80,exped or whatever they think. I can understand it in lfg like"only meta zerkers". But what the hell is that we create our own lfg , with our own rules and then just 2 pugs (who suck anyway) just click kick cause they dont like party which we created . Something must be done.

Maybe true kicking option where one player call vote to kick write why and every party member can click yes or no . If 3 players click yes , person is kicked . If no you cant call vote to kick same person for 10 minutes .
Or maybe just party leader option who uses lfg,kicking,inviting etc. If party leader is offline for 10 minutes , next person takes the lead .

Defending Zaithan`s fight really ? are you serious ? I have never seen such a horrible fight in my gaming history . Almost every person which I knew agrees that this fight is just bad , really bad . But still I think that patch fixing mobs,bosses AI would be enough(in the beginning) , just try running some dungs without stacking in the corner , they arent so easy . And fixing AI actually is the easiest , you dont have to fix every single mob , there is one AI mechanic used by all enemies

40 people standing under gigant boss and you cant even see any aoe , skillfull as hell . In my opinion most world-bosses should be immune to melee dmg in this way it would be much easier to control boss aoes .

If i do ranked PvP i will have the best possible PvP items.
If i do raids i will have the best possible PvE items.

Which is an outdated way to do things. Some people don’t have the time to do raids, should they not be allowed to work towards the best gear in some other manner, or we just resign to the fact that those that have larger chunks of time to play will be the only ones who can get the best gear? This isn’t even a skill issue, it’s a time issue. Raids discriminate people on a time-basis, rarely on a skill basis, as raids aren’t difficult content, they are just really long dungeons.

Hard core players are their own worst enemy.

Actually games which bring the biggest profits are easy-to-pick-up but hard-to-master . Just look at LOL,COD,BF,Halo and other games like that . Every casual can turn on this game and have much fun but hardcore players can master these games to perfection and kill everything on their way .
Problem in gw is that we dont have any challenge for more hardcore crowd . There should be 2 living story option , story mode = easy brainless spamming 11111, and explorer mode with bosses like liadri . And casual cant say “i cant finish it nerf it pls !” but the only one problem is that hardcore players want better rewards and casual want to obtain every reward by doing world bosses or cof p1 .
But anyway just look at destiny . Leveling,story mode proces is casual friendly but end game is for true veterans(first raid was finished in 10 hours , now people finish it under 2h) and people play this game and cant stop .

But most people dont ask for SUPER ULTIMATE HARDCORE CONTENT , but just for content where you have to use your brain .
It is sorry to say but I do my everyday dung run in window mode screen , watching some movie and eating dinner in the same time and it is not a joke . I can run entire dung using mouse cause all you need is standing in the corner and spam your skills then auto-run to another corner . And people tell me “man you are good guard gg,” or "smooth runs ty "
Same with living stories , I play those chapters eating dinner and drinking beer.Very often when I finish eating I turn on TV behind my back becasue LS is such a borring crap that I would fall asleep.
I dont remember when I wiped or died in PVE . It is really sad that you have to commit huge mistake to fail in this game .
I already mentioned that Iam leveling with my friend (now even 2 ) and we were doing ac p123 with all welcome party , still smooth run and nobody even got downed . Rly party with 3 levels 40 , 1 level 70 and 1 level80 did dungeon without any problem ?! Something must be really wrong with this game .
Hard content doesnt mean time consuming , just look at liadri . You can go(now cant) and kill her in less then 3 min . You can kill her without armor , using only offhand weapon but how much time it requires to master it ? here is the key to awesome content .
Anet should make LS content with story option where you are immortal and 1shot everything and then exp one with achies where bosses are on liadri level . And everyone is happy in case of LS .Then they only fix mob AI and we have perfect game .

Okay, im gonna cut back to the original topic :p.

I think all we need is a new mob AI. This game has pretty challenging content. Two days ago i was in CoF p3 (Rhiannon) with my guildmates, and it was challenging – it was fun. We were all level 80 with quite some experience, and we wiped multiple times. We needed some form of strategy to complete it.

The problem is, people find ways to break the content and make it easy, and Anet doesn’t fix them. Most notably, i think Anet should do something about stacking. Prevent people from stacking all the mobs in one spot and AoE-ing them to oblivion under the cover of a guardian’s reflect wall, and all of your (in my opinion reasonably challenging) dungeon content comes back out. When was the last time you were in SE p1 and fought those three golems out in the open, and Tazza in her little room with Troop Commander Kaeyi present?

1. Do you think there is already enough challenging content that requires strategy and coordination in this game?

Not personally. Yes, there is alot of fun and challenging content, but i’d still like to see more. I’m really hoping the CDI on raids leads to something fun, and for raids to actually be implemented into the game. I also loved challenging content like the Crown Pavilion and the Prime Hologram and hope we’re getting more of this content back as permanent content.

There is already quite some challenging content though, people just find ways to break most of it.

2. If Anet did design more challenging content, would there even be enough players to play it?

I think so. If there are rewards that are scaled to the difficulty of the content, definitely. Knowing this community, i think plenty of people would want to spend time and effort to do challenging content if they were appropriately rewarded.

3. Is the zerg mentality too strong to even prevent some development?

No. Yes, the zerg mentality is strong, but as we’ve seen in the Crown Pavilion, there are definitely ways of preventing people from zerging up, and the community will adapt. I’ve personally been in charge of gold crown pavilions multiple times, it was really fun to do. At first it was difficult to get people to follow, but once people understood how the content should be approached, people were glad to follow the commanders advice to victory instead of zerging up.

4. What would more challenging content in GW2 look like?

Something like dungeons really, raids, or like the Scarlet’s Prime Hologram. Either something that needs a big coordinated effort from a group that consists of more than just attacking specific things at specific times, or a dungeon style 5-man-party thing that prevents people from stacking and forces them to actually use skill to fight.

The latter already exists i think, but faced with easily rushable dungeons, many people avoid the harder things because they’re less rewarding.
The former… well, i think one very important feature would have to be that its not timegated. Tequatl is a big step in the right direction for this kind – its challenging, needs alot of people, needs competent commanders etc. But your big problem is that the entire thing is timegated, and people can only get rewards from it once daily. This means that after every kill, everyone gets their rewards, and the entire crew disbands, with all the people and commanders going their own way. Yes, Tequatl is killed in one of the instances most of the time, but theres many other places where it isn’t. If the timegate were to be taken off, competent commanders and active crews could continue to do this, new people replacing those leaving, instead of assembling everyone just for the single kill.

yes I can agree with you content which we already have can be challenging but stacking/dpsing make it easy as hell , mobs should get some aoe which they drop on your location when they cant see you for example ascalonian mags ,when they cant see you ,they shouldnt run toward you , they should stay on their possition and use some massive meteor aoe to make you leave your corner .

I would love gw2 with mixed system of dc universe online.
So every 2 weeks we get new living story and every 2 months we get new DLC .
And DLC contains :
-new arena with new mobs,daily quests etc etc .
-new dungs,raids etc etc

Really some people still say that we dont need more difficult content ?!
Almost every player who leaves this game say same thing"no content" or “easy game”.
What is wrong with game where you can die ? where you have to use your brain ? not only stand in one spot and spam 111111 . My friend started playing this game one week ago , he is already lvl32 . we did ac story and I created lfg “all welcome” , we had only 100-200 ap players I was the only one with 16k+ but playing on low lvl char without armor .And we did this story without wiping or even dying . My low lvl char has 0 deaths and my friend has 1 !!!!! really completly new player even cant die in this game !!!! or maybe he just understands to not stand in red circle and dodge .

Game where everyone has everthing gets really boring really fast (this is also one of the main factors why people leave this game)

People dont demand better gear , they just need posibility to show off . If I have to spend over 2 hours to complete some content I want to get better reward then pug running cof p1 in 10 min .

For example
fract lvl50 = 20g+higher chance for ascended drop
cof p1=1g

Casual who cant finish fract lvl50 doesnt miss anything , he just get it slower .

Maybe we just need LFG upgrade so we can set which profession+armor(armor would be based on overall stats)can join.
Zerkers will have only zerker people , all welcome people just dont set lfg specification so everyone can join .

I am not opposed to this at all. This is a totally different kind of thing from a DPS meter.

lets be serious they will never add it , this game is noob friendly and it will cause too much harm even in pug groups , maybe only personal dps meter but forget about group option

They can add additional rewards for speed-clears or leaders-boards (lol) so those seeking greater efficiency can reap greater rewards. Promoting certain play style this way instead of using tools to enforce it would work out better I think. This way, people would actually want to wear full zerk/skip mobs, etc. Rewards can be tailored to fit those specific competitive individuals so ez-going players don’t feel pressured.

They cant add extra rewards for zerkers because noobs will cry that others have better rewards then they do and it will force casual to join speedrun/zerker group , even bigger toxicity then before

Yh exactly any info ! Like we are working on build templates stay tuned we will release it in maybe 2 months and it is enough . It is still better then waiting 6 months for new cmd colors o_0 such a great upgrade .

I still dont understand why we cant transmute styles from other professions . Necro still have to wear light armor but he can transmute it for rangers coat . Somebody said it would cause problems with clipping o_0 after two years of playing char i have seen so many bugged armors that nothing will scary me , and i think few hundred styles are worth it .

Maybe its time for an Anet survey ?

We already had many surveys and white knights told us that forum community is minority,happy people play game/upset sit on forums and bla bla bla . I can agree with it that people writing on forums are minority but they are still huge playerbase and you can estimate what would be good for overall. When GW2 started I was part of polish community , we had over 800 people united in guilds and we still knew some polish guilds which just didnt care about this community . Today there are maybe 10 people left from former polish community and I can bet 100$ that max 10 people from this community came to this forum to write something . Most players just loged out and never came back .
Like somebody before said people very often demend really difficult content which requires much time to develop . But Anet can give us really a lot of recycled content .
-GvG/20vs20 battles -just cut some pve/www map make matchmaking and here we go we can have 10 or more new maps without any problem
-previous living story content – why they cant add for example SAB for 3-4 days per month with random generated achis like daily ? After SAB, destructuion of LA would come back for 3-4 days . There would be special portal and dessa will teleport players back to the past .

In another game DC universe developers added housing,guild halls etc etc almost 2 years after release !! So pls dont tell me it is impossible , just stupid Anet decissions .

In game survey is great idea we will see how many people want new map like dry tops, how many people want new dung and how many people want new pvp map . But there is one problem , people would see survey and they will demend content and right now anet is just sitting and doing nothing without any responsibility .

dps meter maybe no but pls give us option in lfg to set roles and armor type. Every day I have about 10 people crying that they have entered zerker party without zerker gear and they got kicked o_0 and they are whining that we are noob ! people who can read are noobs ! Maybe Anet should add new NPE content called reading quest casue some players have really big problem with it .

I understand it that devs cant add everything what single player wants , but lets be honest I have seen so many good ideas on this forum which can implemented by IT student in few hours (different cmd tag colors ) but we still have nothing .

People want GvG or 20vs20 battles ? Just upgrade squad system,cut some pve/www maps like single village,city or even stupid empty field and let people fight there ! Simple matchmaking for lone wolfs and here we go . But instead we have living story full of walls of text which almost 95% people stop reading after 5th tab .

GW2 has roughly 1 year of content in it – 2 if you are obsessed with “completing” everything.

My feeling is that once you reach this point in the game, it’s probably time to move on to another game.

I would love to be wrong, because I would love to see Anet add enough content to keep GW2 fresh much longer than that – it’s the whole reason I bother to play MMO’s at all.

But I don’t expect it – all evidence points to another stale (after 1-2 years) MMO experience.

Game was way overhyped.

It’s still the best MMO on the market, and it has made radical improvements to MMO’s in general – but they didn’t deliver anywhere close to what they promised, hence ‘overhyped’ is not an inaccurate way to describe this game.

Still, if they actually put effort into it, the game could become the game they hyped it to be.

The framework is there – but is the will there?

I like how whenever you speak you speak of an impending doom for GW2 as if it was certain, but never so much as give proof that is factual. Just because you’re unsatisfied with the game doesn’t mean it’s bound for failure. Believe it or not, you are not the be all and end all of gaming.

If by “fresh” you mean adding enough maps/race/class/weapons/skills to be a new campaign and technically a stand alone game then I will say that at that point, that’s no longer GW2 but a new game entirely within the GW2 series.

The overhype you speak of is purely based on opinion. The level of content you count is low because you fail to see some of the contents as contents. You’ve closed your mind to anything that doesn’t sit well with you and thus are blinded to the possibilities.

Nothing worse than a critic that isn’t open to criticism. Might want to fix that if you want people to take you seriously.

The fact of the matter is they’re sticking to what they promised. They may not be doing so at the rate you think it should be happening, but they have good reason to be slowed down with all of the work being done on the China release, at this point.

the game is buy once, play forever. you are not losing time by taking a hiatus until they release something you want. you’re free to do that instead of say the game is doomed to fail because you are bored, then hiss when someone points out you’re speculating.

yes i agree with you , this is wonderful in gw . You can just quit and come back after 2 months and you dont miss a thing (but it is also very sad that came is exactly the same as 2 months before o_0 )

but anyway the only thing i cant understand is Anet, why just why they dont release content/features which players want ?
people want mounts ? just give it to them , they work as tonics,you dont have any skills, you dont move faster , but you can spend over 800 gems and boom you have horse,dolly or whatever you want . It is win/win situation . Happy players,happy devs with money
Same with build templates , just why they dont release it ? Every new build tab costs 1000 gems and people will buy it ! I will buy 2 on my guard , 2 on ele and probably some builds on other chars too

this game had a such potential but it was/is wasted by horrible developing . I miss so much my wonderful gw1 and pls dont tell me that gw1 has less dungs then gw2 pls when you count all dungs like mosmam fractal maybe you have more but how you can compare 1 hour dung to 7 min rush o_0

Technically this is true that it grows and evolve, but it does so at such a slow pace however that it would have been better to release expansions like with GW1.

It also “shrinks an devolve”: LS1 and SAB were removed from the game, WvW is more unbalanced now than ever.

GW2 is a great game, it’s amazing for a new player discovering it but for those of us that have been there for a long time we would expect more permanent content.

well, no game company can compete with its own player base.

Sometimes, I wonder if player driven content is a future. If you build a complex enough base and the game is sandboxed, players can twist the game is unexpected ways and create new entertainment that was never possible. Unfornately, anet cannot fit their b2p model into this game like that.

You could even take it a step further and include key binds for weapon skills, which I know can be different depending on builds (mesmer shatter for instance). I’m not sure if that’s even possible/implementable but I thought may as well throw it out there.

oh yh keybuilds it would be awesome specially when you play ele or other class which use a lot f1-f4
