It’s the most ez mode class in tpvp, there is no problem.

This build has been a ton of fun in tpvp, when you’re comfortable with positioning and your active defenses you can really steamroll single targets.

Glad we’re finally gaining diversified builds out of “hurr durr spirit 1 spam.”

The most disturbing part about this is that s/he is commander, you’d think a commander would see the tactical justification for being 2v1’d.

No, you dying while the match ends changes nothing.
It is however annoying when people continue to try hard when the match is over.

I’d support this idea, but how do you think, this should work?
The Effect can only appear as soon, as the thief hit the #1 skill. But as Backstab only has a 0,25s casttime, it might not be possible to react fast enough, even if you are a good player.

I have no issue with taking a backstab I left myself open for, the problem I have is that there is no penalty for sloppy backstab spamming and an effect like this would show me where that stealthed thief is “11111111111111111111111 backstab”ing.

I’ve been playing against 4+ necro MM teams, it’s looking pretty meta.

Ignore any group forcing warrior superiority, any pug worth their salt knows that anyone with zerker and half a brain can pump out respectable dps.

If I’ve mitigated your backstab 3 times, I want some indicator as to how to fight back, and no, dropping aoe does not work.

Because of the new influx of players I thought it would be nice to give all the newbies a helping hand with their builds.

Disclaimer: Any deviation from these builds will only harm your experience in PvP and severely hamper your pointage and makes it a lot more difficult, so enjoy and turn off your brain

Warrior: Hambow, can’t go wrong, the learning curve is so low you’ll be burst spamming faster than your opponents condi clears are all good and gone.

Necro: Minion Master + scepter spam, load your utilities with minions and roll your face on the keyboard, watch as your opponents scramble to tab target you amongst your hoard of undead minions.

Ranger: Very similar to the necro except you shall load up on spirits and use a short bow instead, but be sure to trait for it or you’ll lack body block fodder.

Mesmer: Prismatic Understanding, trouble? Stealth! Offense? Stealth! Need a drink? Bio? Stealth answers everything. And don’t forgot to spam dem phantasms, they’ll do the work you can’t be bothered to do.

Engi: Condi condi condi, grab some Balthazar runes and become the pyromaniac you’ve always knew you could be,
Ideal rotation: 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5, Bomb kit: 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 Grenade kit (this one is a little different, but not too hard): 5 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2. And it essentially goes full circle

Guardian: Block a lot.

Thief: Hit 3 and 2 a lot (this works for all weapon sets, except for d/p, throw the occasional 5 in for good measure), and if you’re low on health feel free to take advantage of the several handy blinds and stealth skills at your disposal

Elementalist: Too hard, just pick one of the above.

Now go my enlightened children! And remember, if anyone attempts to insult you while playing these builds, they’re just jealous.

Please do not let this vocal minority QQ speak for the entire BG server, some of us are not so easily dissuaded by a 2v1.

I’d like to join, I have so many bad memories of ranging Lupi and wiping. ._.

I don’t care for GvG’s, but I’m not one to tell people how to play.

I can still be a dedicated WvW player and care about my server’s PPT.

You’d think high level maps could give us decent opportunities to make money but nope, everything getting nerfed.

I guess it’s back to being poor for me.

It’s supposed to be difficult to retain things, now we’ll be able to mix things up past arrow cart and fire ram lolspam.

I’m helping my buddy with his warrior and I’m not a very great theorycrafter.

I’m hoping the wonderful people of the warrior forum could help out with this.
This build will be primarily for WvW. Preferably something semi-tanky but able to put out enough pressure and not have to rely on peels/group play.

Hi, I’m a warrior, and I regularly wreck characters that spec for condi-damage. Heck, I recently fought a necromancer and had my health INCREASE from 50% fighting a necro, and regularly match engineers in survivability, at least 1v1 or 1v2 (not in my favor). Ya know how I do it?

I bring a TON of condi removal. Seriously. Soldier Runes, Cleansing Ire, and Mending. I can cleanse 9 conditions in about 3 seconds, and continue at about 3-4 conditions every 4-5 seconds from there, with occasional additional burst cleansing.

If you’re having trouble with condi classes, stack condi-removal and solve your problems instead of QQ’ing about condi’s.

Nothing I love more than when I start bursting a warrior with my SD rotation and they pop zerker stance.

The only way you can apply perma poison and burn is by having the person you’re applying it to not have any form of condition removal

I mean christ, you guys are crying about perma Poison, you realize that I can put 2mins of poison on your entire group as a Thief with a single Shortbow round….

However since most people aren’t tards completely, you’ll never realistically have 2 mins of poison.

Everyone ignore the perma condi loving ranger, nothing to see here.

Fighting full cond teams is by far the worst PvP experience I have ever had.

You don’t need to spam to get your point across.

As a fellow Sylvari, I’d like to hope that this is working as intended.

1) I prefer going completely zerk but going by your options I’d go vice versa.
2 &3) These both must be tailored accordingly to your skill.
I like cruising around 50% crit chance and crit damage should always be as high as you can get it.
I normally ignore toughness and vit but these must be tailored to a point where you feel safe. If you want to aim mid range aim for around 2.5k armor and 20k+ hp
4) Not in my book

You’re either lying or you play against very bad players due to the fact that you are in the lower level brackets.

I think I might take a break from WvW (or gaming for that matter) , the amount of malicious hostility I feel expressed daily by other servers and even several servermates has just turned me off Guild Wars.

I wish we could all be adults and just play the game but that’d be asking too much.

Guess I’ll just stick to playing Flower.

It makes me sad seeing SoR spam /laugh when they PvD with their 40 person blob and kill the 8 defenders in BG BL trying to make an effort.

I swear every fight with SoR today has involved me being 10:1 zerged.

Remember when SoR used to call BG the zerg server?

I’ve played WvW pretty frequently and I swear I’ve never seen this HB commander people are constantly referring too.

I gotta hand it to JQ for letting SoR think they can actually win, they’re the ones truly winning this mind game.

Hahah well if you think you can do better then give it a go! Lately we’ve been having some unfamiliar names trying Commanding out for their first time. It’s great to see our fellow beastgater’s doing their part to help out the server & I highly encourage more people in Blackgate to give Commanding a try, it may actually turnout to be your strong-suit.

My strong suit lies in criticizing bad commanders.
Not to say that every BG commander is terrible, there are exceptions.

It’s just that lately there has been a slew of incompetent leadership and it’s showing.
