I agree, this is where you will want to be looking for a Guild. By game mechanics, for the most part you can play this game totally by yourself. Running Dungeons you need people that you know will be playing the entire time. Only once have I had a dungeon run where the entire party stayed playing til the end. I even had a party where a person dropped out after the first 2-3 minutes. LFG parties in dungeons for the most part suck.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Knights of Beowulf might be the Guild for both of you. We are fairly small at the moment. And are located on the Sorrow’s Furnace server, if you don’t mind moving while things are still free.
We are a casual guild, with no rules on how much you have to play, or what level you need to be. Mostly just try to help each other level. Started doing a few Dungeon runs, to see what they were like, and eventually we hope to have a few people who want to jump into the PVP or WvWvW servers to have some fun.
Our playtimes vary, but our busy time is between 9 PM – 1 AM CST. We do have some players in North America and some in Europe, so we probably have a few people on in the morning when your playing as well. Hoping we can eventually grow to a point we have people to party with no matter when you log in.
We also have a Ventrilo server, so we can chat with each other while we are playing, but there are no rules forcing you to talk in Vent. If we are doing a dungeon or WvW, we might ask people to be on to listen when we need to relay info as quickly as possible.
You can either send me a message on the forums here, message me tonight in game on Psyzin, or go to our forums at http://knightsofbeowulf.com/ and apply there.

No your not to old for gaming. Your just trying to get more out of the story then what is there. This is a huge problem for MMO’s and FPS games. You may find some intriguing stories in the odd single player games but they are few and far between.
The only purpose of the Storyline is to try to stand out from every other MMO out there with their static quests that every single player gets no matter their race/background/occupation ect. It’s also a tool to be used for the Role players to give their character a sense of their backstory, although they all end in the character becoming a superhero that saves the day. I guess the Role players wouldn’t like it at all if there character failed at slaying the dragon and ends the story as a nobody living in a back alley addicted to sniffing fairydust while having flashbacks of all the creatures/people they killed on their attempted quest for greatness
.
Play the video games for the simple entertainment value they give you, and for the virtual “friends” you make along the way. When your in the mood for a deep story, go find a book.

Most trading Post items are actually being sold at a loss. 1 copper more then an NPC will buy it from you for. For most gear that would be the best place to check. Other then that craft when you have an abundance of mats as the end game legendary equipment can only be made from items that are crafted yourself on a lvl 400 crafter.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
I think the problem is you need to use the /shower command. Your character is to stinky that even the mobs need to run away
.
But nope, I didn’t notice this problem myself. But my main uses pistols, so I guess I wouldn’t run into a melee problem. I did notice the mobs acting alot smarter recently though. Doing things like actually dodging, and taking cover when they are almost dead. I guess they could be working at tying to avoid melee characters as well.

Don’t ignore them. Hit them with a 10 ton mallet. Everytime I see an e-mail from them, or see one of them speaking anywhere in chat, I report. ANet seems to be banning fairly promptly. The only way you can defeat the gold sellers is to cost them more money $50 each time thier account gets banned, then they are making from the people buying the gold.
The game I come from is Lineage 2. It’s another NC Soft game, that the GM’s didn’t watch as closely for stopping this trade, and it eventually totally ruined the game.

Knights of Beowulf (Sorrows Furnace) looking for casual players
in Guilds
Posted by: Vivisector.5680
Just letting everyone know Knights of Beowulf is looking for some casual players to join us. We have 6 members so far, and are looking to grow so we can have people to party with most times of the day. We are currently focusing more on the PVE aspect of the game to get our levels up, or just exploring the world. We have started doing dungeon runs, as we have 4 players that are above lvl 30 that can enter the first dungeon. And we have begun to play around on the PVP and WvWvW servers.
We won’t force anyone to be on at a certain time, or race to a certain level. All we ask of our members is that no one bring any drama into the clan, and that they don’t bad mouth other players in open chat.
Our busy time of the day is between 9 PM – 1 AM CST, but we do have a 50/50 split between North American and European members, so we do have people playing at various times. Hoping with some growth we have people to party with no matter when anyone logs on.
We have a Ventrilo server for voice communications for members, just chatting, or when running Dungeons or PVP. We also have a Forum site set up at http://knightsofbeowulf.com where you can let us know you are interesting in joining us, or you can leave a message for me in this thread, or PM me in game on Psyzin.

We have a Forum set up at http://knightsofbeowulf.com and we also have a Ventrilo server for communicating with each other. If your interested you can send me a PM in the forum here, or go to our forums and leave a message on our recruiting page that you are interested in joining. If your looking for a casual Guild that is small but trying to grow to a level where there are always a few people on to party with, we are looking for new members. We are mostly into PVE atm to try to get our levels up. Have started to do a few odd dungeon runs here and there, and occasionally go into the PVP or WvWvW servers to see all the action.
We are Knights of Beowulf on Sorrow’s Furnace. We have 6 players atm, but are hoping to grow to at least 25-30 so that we have more people to go partying with. Our most active time is between 9 PM – 1 AM PST. We currently are split about 50/50 for players from North America and players from Europe/Middle East, so we will have people playing at hours not in our base timeframe. We are hoping with growth we can have players on to play with no matter what time you come online.
As far as being a casual clan, we aren’t going to push you to be on at a particular time, or to hit a certain level at a certain time. It’s more about helping each other and having fun. If your interested in joining us, you can either leave me a PM in the forums, or you can leave your application on our forums which are located at http://knightsofbeowulf.com we also have a Ventrilo server for communicating between members. You can join in the discussion, but aren’t forced to.

Yeah. Everytime I get a Gold spam mail, or see a message in chat, I promptly report it. If anything, I am hoping I can cause the Gold selling companies to be losing $50 everytime I click that button. If the game is costing them money instead of making them millions maybe they will go find a new game to farm on.
For mail messages, there is an exclamation button in the middle of the mail message near the bottom to report. For shouts you see in text, right click their name and then look for the report user. My only wish is that they made a selection in the report area specifically for “Gold seller”. Instead I have to weigh my options. I usually pick “Spammer”, since that seems to be the closest one as far as I can tell.

Just have a question regarding putting money in the bank in this game. I know they have the slot, and I know how to transfer money into the bank. I was just wondering if there is a purpose behind it.
I know theives have a pickpocket skill. Can they rob your money in WvWvW? I am pretty sure there is no way of dropping your money on death in the game. Or do you earn interest on money that is sitting in the bank.
There are 2 reasons I ask this. First I noticed you get achievements for how much you have in your bank. Second if you can’t lose your money, and it doesn’t take a bag slot in your inventory, and you don’t get anything from putting money in the bank, why would you do it? When you finally wanted to purchase an item, or your armour needs to be repaired you all of a sudden have a run/port across the map to get your money. Then if its a Merchant selling something rare, you have to go all the way back to find them again. It just seems to me to be smarter to hang on to all the money unless you want to push it in for a few seconds to get an achievement.
I hope I am missing an aspect of the game.

Hi Noodle.
If your ok joining a small guild (We have 5 players atm) but hopefully more will join us in the next little while let me know. We are on Sorrow’s Furnace as well. Knights of Beowulf is a mature clan (30-65 ish) with no drama. We are also not in a rush to 80, but are enjoying our time leveling up and seeing what the game has to offer. We do have 2 people at your lvl or above right now and a few in the 20’s (Like me) working to catch up a bit.
We do have a vent server, but we don’t require you use it, or we are ok if you sit in the shadows and just listen in when we are doing a dungeon or PVP. We also don’t ask you to be on at any given time. Play when you like. Our usual playtime is between 9 PM – 1 AM CST, but we are still active at other times as well. Hopefully we will get enough people joining to have people to party with no matter what time you come to play.
If you are interested, message me in the forums here, or whisper me in game on Psyzin, or you can go to our forums and post in the Applications that you are interested in joining. There is no interview, just a few questions to make sure you are a mature player, and not the type that will ruin our reputation. Our forums are located at http://knightsofbeowulf.forumsmotion.com
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
If your willing to move to Sorrow’s Furnace (Ekkk another one) we are also looking for new members. Knights of Beowulf is a small guild, 5 people atm, but we are hoping to get more people to join up. Our focus atm is to learn the game, PVE and have some fun doing it. Once we get to higher levels some of us will be participating in the PVP/WvWvW aspect of the game, but will always be ready to come help out a guildie if needed.
Our Forums are under construction, but you can apply there already at http://knightsofbeowulf.forumsmotion.com/ or you can message me in game on Psyzin. Or just leave a message for me in the forums here and I will find you. We also have a Ventrilo server, so we can either help each other via chat when in a bind, or to organize ourselves when we are partying together or going out to try some PVP.

Yeah for some reason my 306 update screwed things up as well. After I upgraded (After seeing that message on my GW2 log in screen to update from version 301 to resolve problems. With the 301 drivers I had no graphical problems at all. After I had strange things like a line that would extend from my toons leg, and no matter where he went that line jutted out into the sky. Tried un-installing, ect. Finally doing the clean install seemed to fix the problems up for me. Will have to test it a bit more to verify all problems are gone.

Hi Pikafan,
If you don’t mind moving over to Sorrow’s Furnace, we (Knights of Beowulf) are looking for new guildies. We are just starting out, so fairly small (5 atm), but we are more about helping each other out and working as a team then rushing to 80. Once we do level up we will be running dungeons when possible. We have a Ventrilo server and have a Forum under construction. http://knightsofbeowulf.forumsmotion.com/ You can message me on the forums here, apply on our Guild Forums or whisper me in game on Psyzin.
Not sure about the Static groups. And we will be fairly focused on PVE, but some of us will jump over to the PVP or WvWvW servers a bit when we are ready to go there.
Our usual playtimes right now are between 9 PM – 1 AM CST, until we can get more people signed up, hoping to cover all playtimes.

I think I have gotten around 10 keys so far. Some from rewards from quests/map completions and pretty sure a few of them have been drops. From what I have gotten in them so far, I can’t say I would ever purchase keys from the Gem store, especially at the price they want. They usually contain (For me anyways) an XP/Karma/ect enhancer with a fairly short timer on it and a transform orb/pill? That can turn you into a bird/mob for I believe 15 minutes, but says you can not attack in this mode, so it’s mainly for costume parties or not sure what.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
If you haven’t found a guild yet, let me know. We are a small guild yet, but sound like you would be right up our alley. Knights of Beowulf (Sorrow’s Furnace) are so far made up of Ex- Lineage 2 players who have been playing L2 for the last 8+ years. Not sure what server you were on, but we were on the original Bartz server, which is now Chronos, and we came from the ArcaneGenesis Clan (Hopefully you weren’t an enemy
). Haven’t talked to many of the L2 players into moving over here yet, but still working on getting a few more to move on over.
We consist of a Guild Leader from Scotland, and the rest of us so far are from Canada/US. We are looking more for casual players that are here to have fun, and not rush to Lvl 80. Our ages range from about 30-65. We are doing more PVE at the moment, but once we get to a decent level, will partake in the WvWvW alot more. I will be setting up a forum in the next few weeks, and we do have a Ventrilo server already in place. If your interested let me know. You can leave me a message on the forums, or message Psyzin or AntusGully in game
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Knights of Beowulf is recruiting mature players. We are working more on PVE then anything right now, but in the future will start doing more PVP events. We are recruiting casual players although will gladly accept more hardcore players as well. The main thing is that you are there to have fun and not put down others.
Our playtimes vary. Mostly 8 PM – 1 AM CST. Forums will be created shortly, and we do have a Ventrilo server. Please respond below if you are interested.

I agree with the market right now (inflated material prices because to many people are crafting just to get to Lvl 400 as quickly as possible) and the amount of gear that drops off the mobs, there isn’t much reason to craft here atm. I am sure it will get better once the material prices drop, but the market still won’t be there to make good money selling. Getting the Legendary Weapons is 1 good reason. The XP is another. I have heard the way everyone became Lvl 80 in the first week of the game was due to crafting, and not going around killing things.
Personally I think they should add 1 trait to crafting ability. The ability to repair the equipment you made. It doesn’t make much sense that I could craft that set of armor I am wearing, but the minute it gets broken, I have to take it to a special repair shop to get it fixed. Maybe let crafters use some basic materials that were used to create the armor in the first place (Like a few Leather to fix a leather jacket). The adena sink is still kind of there, but its more of a material sink instead.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
If you look, they will almost always say Soulbound on them. I wish you could salvage them, but yeah, I usually end up garbaging them as there isn’t much else you can do with them.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
I have 2 personal stories that were very painful. Both oddly enough happened around lvl 8, when people should just be learning their toons, and not be expected to be experts of their class yet.
The first one was with my Asura Engineer. There was a member of the council that programmed I believe it was 3-4 waves of 4 hard to kill robots followed by the last wave which was 4 robots and an elite Lvl 10 robot, which could 2 shot me. There are many classes I don’t think I would have made it out of that one. My only solution was to run in a continuous circle around the council, while dropping my turrets everytime they recharged, then blowing them up and dropping grenades 2 steps behind me. I could swear it took me almost 20 minutes them off doing this. It was not fun in the least. I think Zooja and Mr. Sparkles fought a single robot the entire battle, leaving the 4-5 waves for me to take care of alone.
The other total headache for me was a Norn quest for my Guardian. I choose to get the wolf’s blessing in order to defeat the Jotan King. I went to the wolf spirits advisor, and found out that the wolf’s dear friend was turned to the dark side, and I had to take him out. I ran into a cave (At lvl 8.) only to find a wolf constantly 1 shotted me. I decided to wait until I was lvl 11. Got all the best Lvl 11 armor and a Great Sword with good stats, went in, and yep the wolf’s 1 special attack 1 shotted me through Heavy armor everytime. I got him down to around half health a few times before he attacked, and then jumped right back to the revive point. The NPC was still shooting arrows at the wolf, but it’s HP had regened to full health in the maybe 5 seconds I was away. Eventually after many many deaths, I was able to kill it before he launched his 1 shot special. Maybe he was full from eating me so many times. Either way it was more then painful, and I found no enjoyment at all.
Personally I think the Personal stories should be mildly challenging stories to give your character some meaning / backstory. They should not be quests for only the top end players or masochists to complete. Leave the hard stuff for the dungeons and end game content (Or maybe at least the Lvl 50 ish personal stories, when you know your character inside and out.)
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
GW2 is a great game, don’t get me wrong. It’s nice to see a game shake up an aging genre by trying totally new things. The game just needs a bit of tweaking, possibly a bit of (Not bringing back the trinity, but giving more trinity traits and rewarding people for supporting their party.) I have a feeling alot of this will be fixed up as the game ages a bit. For example, if I decide to put out a healing turret instead of a DPS turret, and decide to revive fallen members instead of laying down damage, I should be rewarded as such. Even the FPS genre has taken to giving more rewards for support driven players then here.
As for end game content. The game is a few weeks old, and yet it is being compared to a game that has had 8 years of content created for it. If you look in the Wiki, it seems over half of the game map is in the process of being created. I am sure we will start seeing expansions coming out with a pile of more end game dungeons ect.
Also personally, while I do like new gear, I love the fact the PVP gear you can strive to obtain has the same stats as the equipment your already given. Sure it is nice to strive for new gear that has amazing qualities, but (I am coming from a Lineage 2 background), it sucks when a PvP game starts going down the (The more money you spend or the more you play the bigger the advantage you have over other players). Again even the FPS genre has fought to balance end game weapons with ones you get at lvl 1 so everyone has a fair chance of scoring a kill, and it’s more what you do as opposed to what gear you have.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Yeah some of the controls take a while to get use to. The WASD controls or Arrow keys are fairly straight forward to pick up on. I find its easier to turn my character with the mouse then arrow keys. Just hold down I believe its the right mouse button and turn your character. It changes directions and the camera angle at the same time. It is annoying getting the hang of doing this while trying to kite a mob and toss grenades at them though.
As for targeting. I have to agree, alot of the targeting is difficult. I am probably missing a button or command as well, but when trying to find a mob in a DE that has 20-30 people attacking is sometimes impossible.
As for the Renown hearts (Quests). When you are near one on the map, you will see the quest dialog pop up in the top right corner of your screen. Will usually say something like Feed Chickens, Kill Spiders, Collect eggs ect. The more of those tasks you complete in the general area (If you go to far away from the NPC giving the “quest”, the quest will disappear from your log and you won’t get points until you are back in the area. Once you complete enough of the tasks (The bar will fill to completion), the NPC will e-mail you a reward which I believe is always a small cash payment. Also after the quest is completed, the NPC giving the quest will turn into a merchant where you can purchase different items with Karma (Currency for doing good deeds)
But take your time and have fun. I have noticed for the most part this game seems to have the friendliest people playing. Many people will drop what they are doing to run and revive you. When you revive someone you will usually get a Thank-you. And for the most part the chat window isn’t full is flames, although a few times I have seen (Not sure if trolls or general idiots) flaming the area with dumb thoughts like WoW was the first MMO, and that everything here is a poor copy of the original. I just laugh to myself, as I don’t know if they are baiting people, or are really that dumb
.

Well in MMO’s that business practice is highly exploitable. Selling to NPC’s should be a last ditch effort to get rid of stock. If it takes 3 Silver to make an item. The NPC’s should give you 2 Silver, but the market especially in the beginning when things should be rare should be sitting near the 5-6 Silver mark. The problem is we have tons of people selling on the market for less then the 2 Silver the NPC’s will give you. Maybe that is why I usually prefer heavy grind games where people have to work to obtain items. There usually isn’t a race to see who can sell for less when they have to grind for a few weeks/months to make an item.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Lol, yeah I have quite a bit of Salt and Pepper, and other mixtures starting to fill my inventory. What I found works the best is to only make the basic’s when I am ready to make the finished product.
Maybe they could make a “Cooking Pantry” sellable for Gems that would store all the intermediate cooking collections as Collectables.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Actually the changes might be a good thing for crafters. The problem right now is there is a huge herd mentality that everyone must get their crafting to 400 in a few days. We have supply problems because everyone is crafting for no reason other then to get to 400 so they can say they did it. The stuff they do craft, they are NPC’ing it or selling it on the market for a loss of what they could sell it to the NPC’s for.
What ArenaNet needs to do is drive down the supply of items so the things that we are crafting are actually valuable and worth crafting. I have never played another MMO where people are dumping all their crafted items to the sale shops for less then they can sell to NPC’s. Especially in the first few weeks of the game. Usually in other MMO’s this is the golden age of crafting, as the stuff you craft is supposed to be in short supply.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
I still do play the odd MMO, but for the most part have tried to quit them since playing GW2. I came mainly from Lineage 2 (Played it for 8+ years). That game I probabaly won’t miss to much.
Also been playing a pile of the F2P MMO’s that have been coming out lately. Some of them are pretty good like LOTRO and Fallen Earth. I will probabaly try giving up on these as well, but will probabaly still occasionally log into Fallen Earth, even though GW2 now covers my liking of having Rifles/Pistols in an MMO.
I will however be playing an MMOFPS game (Planetside 2) when it comes out. That game looks promising, but its an extreme opposite of what GW2 is, so they won’t overlap at all.
That all being said, I am loving this game so far.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Don’t quote me on this, but I have a feeling it is already in place from some of the notes I have read. They might just be in suspended animation atm becuase they are having problems with the DE’s becuase of the population on the servers. The DE’s are being triggered far more often then they wanted then to. Once things start cooling down, I think we will start to see more things like this. It’s not like they don’t patch the game every night, when I am playing Grrr.
But I have to say even though my game ends every night for 15 minutes to download the new patch it is WAY better then alot of other MMO’s I have played where patching only happens Tuesday Morning, and even if there is a known issue, it will be looked at next week.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Actually they can learn. The problem is the ones that learned the lesson are now dead. They can’t communicate with the new wave of bandits from the dead to warn them of their upcoming doom.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
I think the problem is Grenades are not immediate attacks, the Grenades have a second or 2 of travel time before they explode. Alot of the time you have to calculate where your enemy will be and not where they are at the current second. If you made them auto-throw where your enemy was when you pressed the button, they would easiy be avoided by constantly moving. Then you would have 5X the complaints here because your grenade can’t hit the broad side the a barn any more because your targets keep moving.
If your thinking the grenades should lock on target and automatically hit whatever they are thrown at, it would be so OP, they would have to nerf it by making the grenades spit out marshmellows and not actually blow up.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
That’s because there are 2 states of Dying in the game. At first when you are “Killed / HP goes to 0”, you enter a defeated state. You can still fight with your defeated skills. If you fight and kill a mob or you manage to self heal or others come and rescue you, you will be back up on your feet like nothing happened to you.
If you fail all 3 of these ways to get back up on your feet you enter the second phase which is a death. At this point you can select a waypoint you would like your body to be resurected at. When a true death occurs, you also have a good chance of having equipment damaged, you get a count against your /deaths meter and your XP without dying resets to 0.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Lol, your Norn storyline is way different then mine. So far I’ve had to get the wolf god to give me his praise, which turned me into a wolf when fighting the “Boss???”, and now I am forced into basically slavery with a Charr warband becuase I was drunk, stold their vechile was driving it through the countryside. I have had to speak to people who saw me fighting trees, in a drunken stoupor, and in the end of the night I parked the vechile somewhere, and can’t remember where I left it becuase I blacked out.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Not lucky, he just picked one of the two heavy armor classes. A warrior with 15 points in Defense and Healing Signet can regen through almost everything while dishing out large amounts of AoE damage. Warriors and Guardians are easier in PvE content, but I don’t think anyone would argue that GW should be balanced around PvE.
Well still lucky in my eyes. My toon I was having problems with was a Guardian, which I figured should have been more tanky then even a Warrior. You can’t regen through a 1 shot. My Guardian has mostly + Toughness and + Vitality with Lvl 10 heavy armor doing a Lvl 8 quest and getting 1 shotted everytime the Boss managed to hit me.
http://knightsofbeowulf.com
Or maybe you got lucky and your path hasn’t lead you through one of these “Broken” quests. Most of the Personal quests are fairly easy. Some of them I have completed 4 levels below where you need to be. When I find one I can’t complete 4 levels above, I look on the forums and see others are having problems with the same quests. Shouldn’t be a L2P problem, since there is no reason in a solo styled quest that the mobs should be able to 1 shot you. Expecially on mobs that take you 20-30 hits to take them down.

Yeah I had alot of difficulty getting past the lvl 8 Norn quest as well, when you have to kill the Wolf that has turned to the darkside to get the Wolf Spirits to bless you for an upcoming battle with the Jotan King. The wolf you have to kill is a Lvl 10 boss. I leveled up to lvl 11 thinking it would help, but it still downleveled me to lvl 8. At level 8 you would think the quests would be semi-easy, as it’s a person quest and you are still in the learning your character mode.
Anyways the wolf has an attack that 1 shotted me everytime it attacked ( I was a lvl 11 Guardian with all lvl 10 Heavy armor). You have 2 NPC’s attacking it as well, I would manage to sometimes take it’s HP down to half before it did it’s special attack, then would return to Waypoint outside the cave. It would be regened to full HP in the 10 seconds it took me to get back to it. I think I died about 7-8 times and all my gear was broken. Eventually I gave up and came back to it once I had some lvl 13 Gear and a greatsword. It took alot of dodging, a few deaths and many self heals to finally take him down. I didn’t think a “tank” should have a problem being 1 shotted constantly, I would hate to do that quest as an engineer.

Check the maps. I have found a minimum of 1 crafting area in each map zone I have been in. I don’t know about the zones 25+ but the lower ones all have at least 1 crafting area in the middle of nowhere outside the city.

There is no problem with Cooking. The problem is so many people here want to be max level in a few hours. It’s the exact opposite of what I am used to, as I come from another NC Soft game (Lineage 2) where people usuall never expect to become max level no matter how many years they play. Yep I said Years. The game is 1-2 weeks old, people have been lvl 80 for over a week now, and they expect to be lvl 400 in crafting in a few days as well.
Instead of complaining how you are losing money and not hiting lvl 400 in a few days (So nerf those who have already made it), how about everyone eats some of their wares, or give them to friends, enjoy the buffs and extra XP and be happy when you get there in a month or 2

Actually there was an announcement that hackers have gotten e-mail addressespasswords from other games you may be playing and are running the lists to see if there are any people that registered in GW2, and used the same password as they used for their last game (Which is quite a normal occurance). My guess is you played another online game in the past, and the hackers are using your e-mail address to see if they can break intot your account.
I am sure Anet will fix the problem for you, hopefully soon and then make sure you make a totally new password for this game, as it seems to be a huge target for hackers atm.

Ok, yeah they must be the Anet Points I am talking about. I have gotten the Mystic Coins as well, and know what those are for
. Darn I was hoping I was saving up for something like a Mini pet, or a cool title.

I believe you may be talking about Mystic Coins you get for completing Dailies and Monthlies. Mystic coins are used in Lion’s Arch at the Mystic Forge to create high level weapons.
Nope just talking about the coin count you see when logging in. Or when you look at your guild list, you don’t see your Guildies Lvl or anything important, you see how many of these Achievement coins they have.
They are gold colored and have kind of the Arena Net symbol on them. For instance, when you kill 10 mobs of a particular type, you get 1 of these coins from your Slayer Achievements

Yep I got that the Achievements themselves were part of the title system. And finishing the Achievements themselves (Completing your daily, ect) can give you additional coin/items/XP. But I didn’t think that the Coins themselves were apart of that, as the coins don’t seem to have any purpose in relation to if a particular achievement gives you a title or a reward for completing.

I am new to GW2. Just wondering if the Achievement coins I keep getting for finishing my dailies or other things are ever used in the game (To purchase items, titles or anything else) or are they just there for show? So far I have tried searching the wiki and while it mentions them, it doesn’t say what they are for, if anything.
