I ll be honest with you, no matter the amount of psychological projection nobody likes JQ…nobody. This dates back from when JQ used to constantly block the Jumping Puzzle back in the days with 10 vs 1 at the entrance. This attracted a lot of people to JQ, people who enjoyed this type of behavior but were not that good in wvw.
From then on they made enemies from acting like kittenbags. Nothing has changed yet and the only thing JQ has left is paying guilds to come to their server so they can say they are T1 material…but they are not and their reputation still follows them.
For a long time JQ had relied on SoR but that changed some time ago when SoR decided to not carry JQ anymore. There is a reason JQ never ever gets the number 1 spot and it should be pretty clear by now.
JQ does not belong in T1…it never did and JQ will always a bad reputation unfortunately

Example 1
SoR tries to take an upgraded JQ bay. BG has at least two good options.
- take an unguarded upgraded SoR hills
- take an unguarded upgraded JQ spawn tower.
BG runs to JQ bay to watch the fight or get wiped there or get some bags or whatever.
Example 2
JQ attacks SoR garrison, SoR comes to defend.
BG attacks JQ spawn tower and camp instead taking their bay back or.. getting NW tower.
Sure, you can play it that way, but it makes absolutely no sense. And many of the situations when JQ decides to go for BG are because BG just did something stupid before, like taking JQ spawn camp with their whole zerg, while JQ is pushing SoR garrison or such things.
I don’t know how many times a night I hear, “Well BG just did something stupid. What do you want to do now?” Everyone in unison – “Kill BG make them pay.” I’ve stated this before, but apparently no one reads my comments. Actually, I am OK with this.

So when Iron rushed your Garrison i had 2 choises. Dig in and hold or go north and take your towers knowing full well that Iron most likely would float to some where else soon. Giving me a clear shot at taking a now paper Garrison.
Instead i went with option “There is a fight over there let’s go join it because that could be fun” and we had fun. Not the smart thing to do, but instead i had a TS channel full of people laughing and joking around about how stupid the fight was getting.
The thing is JQ dose stupid crap all the time that is not in there best interests and during EU they have SoR to guard them because JQ is not that important of a target in comparison. You get a free pass because of your place in the fight.
Several times i would have love to have crushed JQ and there puny force that provoked me by hitting my towers, but i have to deal with the far larger and far more dangerous SoR.
It’s amazing how JQ begins chest thumping as soon as they are back in the game. When JQ was practically ‘dead’, SoR and BG just ignored them, so I guess they are craving attention.

So, after taking a few camps this morning I went to solo north camp. There i ran into a persistant power necro who crit like a truck, me being on my thief I ran around a bit into the open for better fighting terrain and after downing in my shadow refuge and reviving myself before the necro saw me, I drained all his life force and me being at 25% HP and the necro being at about the same I panicked and hit my #2 on my keyboard 3 times and it ended with the necro dieing. I’d just like to apologize to whoever this was and I do actually feel bad about it.
I was fighting a thief with my warrior and a guildie on their thief. That thief was spamming 2 so much that I was able to evade two Heartseekers with one dodge roll. He still downed me but I downed him with leet rock tossing and my guildie spiked him. Was a fun fight, surprised he didn’t turn and book when my friend unstealthed.
I dont know why any of u r feeding titan the dude is nothing but a troll. Titan is the same dude who on thes forums wanted the death of the JQ server, he has said it many times.
And if anyone from TW asked for gold for that week they transfered to JQ, they were trolling you. Did you give them gold ?? no you didnt. DID you have fun with TW on your server? yes you did all you gotta do is read the thread, and you would clearly see JQ saying they wished TW stayed and how much of a blast they had.
Now about the PPT bs, there is dif strokes for different folks. I have never cared about PPt always like the battles, if that ment i had to break into towers keeps for them then i did it.
Btw wvw is stilla coverage game. When sor was winning we had the best coverage, same for BG and JQ. Only way to win facing more coverage is use the third server for a 2v1, this weeks its against SOR and who cares its wvw kitten happens.
I respect Both BG and JQ servers greatly and many of the guilds, some ppl from there servers less so. I really dislike PPl who want nothing more then to see servers IMplode and fall apart. I also hate it when ppl spread BS about someone from other servers hacking accounts

After an exhaustive investigation entailing a vast network of shifty informants, tens of thousands of man hours, and, naturally, some wanton and gratuitous abuse of controlled substances, here are the results:
We show up, ready to roll and make some tasty, tasty SoR bags by forcing a 2v1 on them
The first couple moves go splendidly, but you just can’t seem to keep your grubby hands off our marbles, can you?
Go to wipe your latest kittenjam attempt and realize that SoR has tagged along for the ride
The 2v1 has now switched to you and, although your bags aren’t as tasty, we stick it out because, y’know, we’re already over here and stuff
Lather, rinse, repeat many many times
Y’know what, sod it: Let’s just focus BG from the get-go tonight

^—- This, so many times this. I said it earlier in this thread it might have been drowned out by people blaming IRON for something though.
Hopefully BG can pull itself out of this slump. Not sure what is up with that server but it’s obvious they need to fix something. Consistency is an important aspect of WvW.
To go from 1st place straight to 3rd is unheard of.
Are you sure you don’t know? I mean your server is, after all, double teaming us.
On another note, SoR, you guys are skillful as always, but JQ, I think tier 2 has made you soft. A fully seiged up tower with more numbers than us, and we still took it with just losing 1 person.
Did the one person fall out of the tower to his death?
I remember feeling exactly like that on JQ as well to be honest. I’m not claiming that BG and SoR were double-teaming us in the past, but there were times it certainly felt like it. Odds are it’s more an internal thing however… numbers lower from a little burnout, seeing the same servers over and over again can take a little of the bounce out of your step. It seems to happen to every server that sits on top for awhile. Soon enough, if the trend continues, you’ll drop down to a more pure tier 2 type match for a week or two (not seeing either SoR or JQ) and one of two things will happen… BG will either begin to fade into mediocrity as many servers have, with guilds jumping ship and people losing interest, or the change of pace will rejuvenate the WvW crowd and things will turn right around again. So expect a month or so of growing frustrations and an overall sense of ennui, but the fate of BG will depend on whether the community pulls itself back up with a fresh restart or fades away to the lower tiers.
Hang in there kid, you can do this.
This is a good post, I hope that you guys can pull through your internal issues and remain in T1 BG. I have to admit though, a selfish part of me would love to see Merc return to SoS with AGG and raise SoS back to its former glory. Good luck with your issues BG!

This is quite clearly the server-wide quickness that comes after huge, laggy fights. I mean, just look at how abnormally fast the revive is, in the beginning of the video.

Just a guess, but I believe he’s alluding to the fact that someone throws something down people build it. A golem is 100 supply. The commanders have to keep note of how much supply is around them to know what they can pull off. If someone randomly throws down a golem that’s supply you might have to go get somewhere else and needlessly holding off what you were trying to attempt.

You, being from Ehmry Bay may not know of borderland lag. It’s the thing the borderland (server) does when it tries to catch up from large fights usually from a Garrison fight where all three servers are fighting over it. Thing is we can’t tell, there is no mini-map.
Personally I thought it all looked sped up, even his tasks and especially the resurrecting. I thought the OP sped it up a little in order to make his point.

We legitimately tried to 2v1 SoR when we got on the map, but after growing tired of RISE and ESOL trying to play in our backfield, we just decided to kick BG off the map for four hours.
It kind of went like this:
Push SoR to attack all their T3 structures.
Oh nice, BG takes Speldan, oh no Anz, nope now Mendon’s.
Mance: “So now what do you want to do?”
Everyone else: “Stomp BG, make them pay for their transgressions before us.”
Mance: “So it shall be. Praise Jedsus!”
There should be an emote that states, “Don’t kill me I am just trying to gather these things for daily”, or “..I am just trying to kill these chickens for daily”.

We have champ bags now they are much better. I have not really noticed a loot diff otherwise, but It would make sense with the addition. Also a good step to put a damper on kill trading.

You were on a cliff above us. We moved into the camp to drop north so you didnt drop on us if we went along the cliff up the ramp. We were in the camp for about 10 seconds. You’re being silly if you don’t see why we went through the camp to get north where there was open field instead of walking below you with a cliff between us.
Unfortunately Wilco wasn’t streaming last night. And I don’t believe any of the rest of us record. I know exactly why you went into the camp, which is another reason we pulled North. Then when we went at you from the road you still pulled into camp. That’s when the /laugh’s happened. Then we pulled North again and you finally came out. After a good fight that lasted a fairly decent amount of time you won, congratulations.
JQ group that pulled us to wolves on Mag BL – you should try to not spam laugh, it can be embarrassing when you get wiped 1 minute later.
I’ll respond to this since Wilco is being nice. There were precisely two /laughs and that was because we had what appeared to be equal numbers. You wouldn’t pull out of a just flipped NE supply camp or the entrance to it.
I still believe numbers were the same, and we had around 15 of us with pickups all around. It looked to be about two guilds of you plus some PuGs. Numbers looked very even from my stand point.
We did wipe, but it was a glorious battle away from a choke point that you had defended.
