No, not that serious. It’s as I said just annoying finding a keep or tower supply starved. I don’t see why it’s funny wasting game time of other people with such things and I don’t get why my post was deleted where I wrote something like “good luck to you, was nice playing with you” to a former enemy while trolling is allowed.
So basically its viable on JQ, and I should pilot an arrow cart instead of running supplies. Ill have to do some more research on how all of those mechanics work, costs, ect as I have no idea other than what they are called. I’m level 16 currently, but thinking of hitting 20 and unlocking another tier of traits and getting a few more skill points unlocked first.
I’m also pretty broke, like 60 silver on me so I don’t think leveling with crafting will work very well.
WvW is a pretty good place to lvl but always go ranged when up leveled because you are weak or stay on siege.
I don’t really agree with this as I leveled my Guardian to 80 in WvW. :P Remember you will get most of your XP from things being taken so if you’re on a borderland that is not doing much than switch to one that is. If we’re winning by some degree than it will be likely that Thursday night there will be xp and wxp trains going.

You can switch traits/gear the moment you’re out of combat. I do frequently, adds value to scouting.
I don’t believe even DAoC was as good as people remember, much like pining after lost youth.
This is vanilla GW2. Compared to what I’ve seen, this one has potential. I’d like to see an 8year old gw2.
DAoC still isn’t bad, I played it for a long time last year. Problem is, now I am used to dodging thanks to Tera and GW2. If I can’t dodge, I don’t want to play it.

Not saying you are lying but do you have screen shots from other angles? At least one with the arrows from the arrow cart?
Your screen shot doesn’t prove that the circle on the left came from the arrow cart and not someone who is off screen. Arrow carts are generally built where that one is to kill enemy arrow carts that are behind the gate by seeing through the hole in the top.
Does my SS prove anything? I mean you can even see the arrows coming down in it.. But fir rilz, where do you stick an arrow cart outside that door that can drop the center of the red circle behind the guy on the arrow cart for JQ in front of the green door?

Okay, 2 things. One, I play this game too much because I tried to rotate the camera angle on that screen shot to see if I could tell where the arrow cart was.
Two, that one does look possible to hit through the gap in the door.
I’ve done that, or you put the mouse over someone’s food/oil/crystal to see what they’re running.
But yeah that pic looks like you can target the ground around the cart directly.

Oddly, the guilds that can admit they’d lose a fight are the ones that scare me the most in game…

Oh yes. Good show that’s quite impressive what with the re-spawning and running back. Obviously a show of better tactics has never been done! Congrats to you, you win!

Oh, that time when we sat in your spawn tower with the door open for almost two hours (with 30 people and we kept running out and killing u and u wouldnt come in) and then we went to your spawn supply camp where your commander re-spawned twice and it took you over 14mins to whittle down 30 people with your server constantly re-spawning…
Please tell me why we would waste our time fighting people who either run away or claim a GvG happened when it was a server vs 30 people…

lol they have footage of it, after they reviewed it they realized they were being wiped by a handful of TW and pugs during there own timezone, that can make even some of the more hardcore guilds feel a bit tender. His post above explains this well.
Soooo you guys kill them at your spawn camp and claim victory. It takes about 5-10s to get back from full death there. Soooo that’s an accomplishment, why?
Well, it’s nice of everyone to define “real” gvg for us. Seeing as no one is willing to SHOW us what one looks like.. I guess we shoulda had Waha have half his troops sit on the sidelines and watch or something.
But the whole Ball-Buff-Veil thing being more challenging and a better display of skill? You guys need to watch your own videos more.
I surely hope they came up with some other mechanisms by now then just those that were in their old videos. A lot of that isn’t working very well currently.

There was a reindeer and a snowman that crossed the paths while we were heading to SE supply camp in BG last night. I almost felt bad for them dying, I cried and everything.
Ok so lets take it slow here, a GvG means (Guild v Guild) essentially it comes down to two guilds lining up against each other and seeing which one has the ability to outdo the other in terms of individual skill and commanding. Individual skill plays a big part in GvG I would call it a 50/50 split since a GvG requires far more self-reliance as opposed to a blob and more individual thinking about positions and so on…
What this video shows is -not- a GvG. It is two guilds fighting one with huge blobs that are unable to show any individual skill due to the lag (Yes – Lag is detrimental to ones skill and essentially comes down to who has luck on their side and which group can hit 1 in a more condensed area than the other…)
If this is what NA consider GvG then I fear you have missed the great opportunity that is organised and worth while GvG that really puts the pressure up and presents an opportunity for every guild to prove their worth.

lol who are you? Not sure if you realize but GvG’s don’t occur in the NA when you only have one other guild willing to do them, and they only set them up if they can beat the other team. What you see in that video is a GvG of FoO, TW, and Fear leading both BL’s against each other. Sorry if it does not meet the “Euro” definition of a GvG. Waha approached Indo in an attempt to set up a fight between FoO and TW, but at those hours we have less then 15 people so both guilds agreed to just run full bl vs full bl. The fight was not about individual skill, they have Spvp for that, the fights were more about commanding skills of a large force. Was there skill lag for both sides? Yes, but commanders like Waha, Indo, and Irmo worked through that and we ended up having some of the best fights in GW to date.
I thought it was only that they didn’t want to do them with you. I could be wrong though.
It wasn’t to long ago that JQ thought they had the best NA in tier 1 lol. Now they just want to be recognized as existing. Oh how the times have changed.

You probably don’t follow the forum all that much. There were some NA players from SOR who wanted to kick all non-NA players from NA servers just so they will have a better chance at winning. There was a huge discussion about it a few days ago.
You have issues with reading comprehension if that is how you interpreted that. It was a single poster discussing possible solutions to coverage issues that this game has as a whole. It wasn’t someone wanting to kick out their non-NA players as you so disgustingly are insinuating.

Is that supposed to bother me? I play GW2 to have fun, I’ll stay on JQ as long as they put as much effort into WvW as I do. If they just stop trying I will leave. When I log on I get in TS, I run siege, I will stay in a tower for ages just to keep a look out, I’ll stay in a tower building siege for hours while others are out collecting bags and having fun.
But I dont have some misguided allegiance to a server because of internets honor. Who gives a kitten ? I will give my all to JQ and EMP because they are worth giving my time to. If EMP turned into a PvE guild I would leave. I wouldn’t think twice. Just as I would expect to be kicked from the guild If I didnt make any effort.
So yeah sure I jumped on the bandwagon and im having a blast.
So Blackgate does’t put as much effort into WvW as you do?
No.
Blackgate would try hard for one week and then take a break for 2 weeks. Its not a secret. Any honest BG player will tell you the same. Not every BG player though. There are a few good guilds on BG that try hard all the time, iCoa being one of the hardest working guilds I ever played with. There are a few hard working guilds. But when I left BG the server felt like a PvX server. That was my opinion. I always thought BG could do better and they proved that with a T1 win. But trying hard now and then is’nt really my style or my mentality.
There are individuals that put far more effort into WvW than I do. Hveps of RUIN is a hero on BG. And does more for the server in WvW than most others.
This is just my opinion and in the grand scope of things it doesnt matter at all. My fellow forum warriors opinions are all just as insignificant as mine. The people that really matter are the likes of Rawnoodles, Waha Foo, Indo, the late great Archaos. And so on. Those are the people that hold servers together with their leadership, ambition and energy the rest of us are just footsoldiers.
