Now in regards to all this rubbish about SoR. We have made a difference and that is simply we have stopped BG and JQ ticking huge scores during Euro prime time. That is it and that was all the help SoR needed to win. The SoR NA, Oceanic and SEA guilds and people do all the hard work against large numbers of opposition forces.

Give yourself more credit! The EU presence also sets up SoR’s fierce NA and revitalized SoR’s overall interest in WvW.

This is it right here. People are only mad (jealous) of Iron because you allow SoR to do even better in NA TZ’s.

Anyways you should know that wrex was doing this for the laugh and trying to get some fights. Instead of the cat and mouse games.

And he chose a really poor way to do it.

You know, I have always hated JQQ. I think they’re the biggest bunch of whiners around and i love seeing them lose but the rubbish that comes out of your guildies’ mouths are pretty cringeworthy considering you’ve just transferred and already you’re acting like you carry the server while SoR had been competent to begin with.

Winning, losing, it don’t matter. I’ve seen server come and go, from back when Henge was dominating to the rise of JQ to SoS. Look at Kaineng and where they are now. Nobody wins forever. No one lose forever. The only thing that matters is how you present yourselves. Sure, it’s all for giggles. Sure it was just trolling to get the blood pumping. That doesn’t stop you from being a prik though.

There are better ways to go about getting a fight; being a forum warrior isn’t one of them.

We never ever stated we carry SoR. For all i know th reason we have it “so easy” is because SoR’s SEA and Oceanic.

But i was scouting yesterdays JQ zerg in Eb yesterday. They ran with atleast 60 players taking every BG they could consume. We even circles around the BGkeep to catch them. And we were 25 iron with 15-18 allies..
Still they ran towards bravost and stayed in. We started trebbing them. And instead of coming out, they start counter trebbing.

On BG border earlier that evening we had no competition. Thats the only reason we went to EB.
Guesz we’ll get some good fights this weekend.

From what I could tell when I got to Bravost there we were only about 30-40 of us complete PuGs. Some people were in the tower and our commander would have people waiting for when you pushed, which you always did, then he’d hit you from flank. Then you ran back to your keep.

It went on like that for the 10 minutes I was in there.

It’s strange how people’s perspectives differ isn’t it?

This is straight up boring. I miss when first and second were only 10k away from each other going into a Tuesday. At least there was some excitement going into the final stretch of the week.

Maybe if BG was actually showing up it would be more interesting. Just throwing it out there. JQ has been around, they are fighting harder than I have seen them fight for a while now! People here are right, you should take a page from SoR, and play no matter what. Then again, this is what happens when you build a server around being in that green spot, can’t say I’m surprised.

As some one who have lead BG EU for long time this is fun.

SoR and fighting no mater what is not a realty man. Yes when you are flushed with wins then you will come out, but when BG played over time where where your SoR then?? Sorry, but with how it is now we are busy trying to keep our own stuff and that takes away any chance of us starting a massive fight.

As a officer you should know better then this and have a understanding of movement and troop deployment. If you are a PvE officer then i understand why you would lack this very basic knowledge pertaining to deployment’s in a zone’s and how fights flow.

SoR don’t stay up late. They do the opposite — wake up really early and play.

You get the odd guy staying up late, but I think most of it is to kind of keep the kinship between the different timezones. So, like, we know the people who are commanding in off hours and they aren’t just stories you hear from yester-morning.

But yeah, it is true every server does have its fair weather players. But c’mon. Maybe things will change for BG next week, who knows. What I’ve seen from JQ is that the ones that are there have accepted that they won’t be number one all week — and that that doesn’t matter.

Originally JQ was built to be green, but this month has been a wake up call for them. Some have bit the bullet and ditched JQ for green on another pasture. The ones that are here now are here to fight.

But win or loss, SoR did have forces which came out to fight. Obviously the added pressure from KN did deal to the oceanics and SEA, but that’s largely gone now — mostly because we’re winning now, but there were guilds who had a bit of a break.

lol no, BG was def. not outmanned on SoRBL, this group averaged around 30-45 bags with 10-25 wexp per player. Overall we nearly met our quota for the night.

Firstly I plead with fellow JQ’ers to keep things informative and not let the thread get off topic because well then its not really a recruitment thread :P Next I ask anyone who’s looking for any info about JQ or considering JQ to contact any of the team leads. If your not sure who to contact shoot me a message on this forum (Easier to get ahold of me here ) or contact Jedbacca who is always around as well it seems We can put you in contact with people who will help answer any questions you have about jade quarry. Now some may say JQ its your time to drop a tier we’ve all done it and JQ has as well it’s just been a really really long time since we were in Tier 2 and most of us on JQ have been through the tough times where we had two maps almost always outmanned and we perservered. During these time’s we had some of the most fun ever because well when winning isn’t on the table you do things for your friends/allies and server mates. This attitude has persisted through both the good and the bad times. But one thing is for certain if you do decide to come to JQ you will be pitted against the best competition out there in GW2 and you will be challenged every night to improve both on an individual and a guild level. This is the challenge that will keep you coming back night in and night out and its one of the reason’s GW2 is so fun. So if your willing to face a challenge and have to constantly adapt then JQ is the server for you.

I see three rings in that screen shot. 1 ring on the eastern wall. Two rings in the center. Where did the other 2 AOE’s come from? Are you sure they didn’t AC through the door’s gap?

The outer wall ring was a dragon tooth.

I was running above the gate looking for their acs , there was no carts placed there using the usual area to aim through the hole above the gate, the only cart I could find firing at the time of the red circles was at the side corner outside as show.

But if its legit using an eyefinity setup, that would be good to know at least.

You say aiming the cart through the whole in the door like that is a legit thing yet condemn other means. Let me ask what difference does it make. In order to look through the hole above the door are you not rotating your camera and building AC in very specific spots. Sounds 1 in the same to me bro.

I think it’s all lame, but that’s what we have and all servers do it.

The implication here is that they should have stayed on JQ no matter what, and that’s not fair either. Things aren’t necessarily “difficult” just because JQ didn’t come in first place a couple of times. But I’m not there so I don’t know… I hear there’s some drama going down.

I think it’s silly to automatically disrespect guilds for transferring unless they did you dirty somehow. It’s not easy to transfer a guild, and I assure you the decision is not one to be taken lightly. If the stories are true and JQ really is imploding I don’t expect its natives to be happy about it, but at the same time it doesn’t make sense to take it out on individual people or guilds. Whatever JQ is going through probably isn’t any one guild’s fault.

Forget the way he left (which was another issue), but also coming into our TS trying to recruit from our server (after they’ve already left) is kind of dirty if you’d ask me. Constantly sending messages to our different timeslot WvW guilds and sending them gifts is kind of dirty as well.

I do give him credit for the ring one that was pretty funny.

Doesnt mean that the rest of SOR should condone the behaviour. Its clear the Keep was captured due to use of a field of view exploit, those honest SoR who disagree with the use of this exploit should vacate it , not attempt to defend it, and allow it to be re-built before attacking it again.

I don’t blame SoR for this, but guilds that tolerate such behaviour. I’m almost sure that 99% of SoR doesn’t like hearing such things as JQ or Bg do. But there is no vote to get people from the server and I don’t know how good Anet can track such things.
And that particular guild seems to have very low standards for fair play.

Well said. The other guilds can try to pressure those doing things like this, but ultimately there’s only so much they can do. It’s unfortunate that a few disreputable types can tarnish a whole server, so it does lie on the rest of us not on that server to keep that perspective. I doubt the vast majority of SoR condones this and refuse to allow myself to condemn them all for the actions of a few <insert bannable labeling word here>.

Yep. I’ll just say I’ve seen strange things from them with AC’s that I have yet to been able to reproduce. Some things that people think are hacks definitely aren’t though. On this occasion I have no idea, but I trust Shalile in his word he’s out there daily for far too long.

If you guy’s truly wanna know why JQ gave up a 17k lead here it is. JQ as a whole has gotten bored of the repetitive wvw match up that we have now since the match up hasn’t changed much in a long time. (Guest in JQ la and ask this is the answer that you will get) Overall JQ is tired of wvw after weekend hype and a large lead and says lets go do something else that we havn’t been doing for months on end. JQ will continue to slack off until something new is added to wvw but until then have fun bg with first then maybe you guys will feel the same after a bit too.

Quite frankly, the game is boring. JQ is the #1 server in the history of the game. You can’t blame us that we want to take it easy and just relax on our luarrels and play other games. There’s no challenge left in GW2 for JQ as a server, we’ve fought the best and been the best.

You have to understand how hilarious people like you sound, especially after the grief your server gave to TA/HoD about their disbanding.

Exactly. JQ has a lead during the weekend and when the tide starts turning against them, the QQ comes out in full force. If they did not care so much like they claim and wanting to take it easy, then why try so hard during reset and into the weekend?

BTW, Vizunah Square is the #1 server in the history of GW2. More gold medals and overall medals than JQ.

The only QQ I saw was from 2-3 people. It’s all good bro’s, it’s all good.
