What’s a ‘primordious’?
Not of why would they. It’s why should they: Because it’s a far superior game and deserves more attention than what we have now.
I remember the Eye of the North box art.
It had Ogden with a axe and shield and Pyre with a scepter I believe
man up. we have the right to moan and complain and I will exercise it to it’s fullest
I constantly play it. There’s no nostalgia or anything like that. It’s just a game that I enjoy that vastly better than GW2
If anything it’s due to Mordremoth dying. And even Zhaitan.
Magic has poured forth into Tyria and all the dragons I assume will be absorbing it.
Oh who cares. Just block.

How? It was a half finished mess.
No thanks, I’d rather not have people from cuckchan attempt to greentext and insert their unfunny forced memes on here like this:
>Here’s an idea. Give us the ability to sage.
Implying that the devs can change the forum tools, like search for example?
And we know for a fact magic existed before the gods arrived. That's why they chose the Artesian waters to enter Tyria, it was abundant in magicIm confused. How were the Elder Dragons consuming magic if you are saying magic did not exist before the Gods?
Oh yes, everyone wants to hear you complain. Makes it oh so pleasant.
Regardless on whether you want to hear it or enjoy what I am saying I still have that right.
Of course it will, how do you think Anet makes its money?
Hang on. A guy arriving late is bad and why would you role on a tank item if you’re not a tank?
I’ve experienced the opposite. Everyone views it as the troubling octovine so everyone goes there to make sure that goes down to the detriment of others
HoT grind is more noticeable, in WoW you’ll do dailies/dungeons to get gear just like here but it’s more varied and there is plenty to do if you want a break from modern content.
HoT just feels like 4 different varieties of meta event grind
They actually established the Elder Dragons as being less physical beings a long time ago in Edge of Destiny. A line that immediately caught my eye from the book about Kralkatorrik is describing him as “more magical than physical”.
.
I’ve begun to notice this too actually.
I think there’s a reason behind Zhaitans design change. It always bugged me how he was a dragon made up off other things, is that just his body and how it is? Is it genuinely made up of other creatures bones? If so then that means Zhaitan would have to do that itself right?
Which got me thinking, what if the elder dragons only retain a biological dragon shape while sleeping?
Zhaitan had normal body then presumably became a composite of skeletons
Kralkatorrik’s body looks rather “normal” in GW1 and then in GW2 concept art depicts it as purely crystalline and can turn into a living whirlwind if I remember correctly
Then there is Modremoth and all it’s vines, sure an argument could be made about the Mouth but I think that’s just a large part of its entirety and maybe isn’t even the container for it’s mind at large.
This is pure speculation and spitballing but thought I’d throw it out there
No. We have a right to complain. Man up. The HoT expac is disappointing and flawed and I will point out when and where
Agony and more HP is just gating and artificial difficulty, not challenge.
Why do you want Tquatl buffed, again? It would kill it. It already offers poor rewards for an already tough to organise event, why make it worse?
There’s 3 separate GW1 games and 1 expac. Explaining would take a long time to do, buying them would only take 10 minutes
Farm a bit to get some spending money for WP, new armor/skins, expenses and enjoyment
I hope Greatsword is last. There’s already 3 Legendary greatswords already
I too am having this problem
known to players as Bone Dragons (their zombie forms). And one can probably count the recently discovered with HoT Wyverns.
Could Bone Dragons be reanimated Wyverns perhaps? Similar body shape but I get the impression Bone Dragons did have back legs
I still don’t understand why this isn’t a thing? I have to switch builds each time for WvW, PVP, Tequatl, Wurms, general PvE. Everything.
Get it because it’s a vastly superior title. Better combat, stories, tactics, skills, armor, weapons, music, atmosphere. I can go on
Having same problem. Not sure if bug or otherwise. Thought I’d report it
Like others have said this song is similar to Gwen’s theme and plays during Halloween but I too can’t seem to find it
I think they’d probably consume all the magic and sleep, maybe there’d be some skirmishes for each other’s and the scraps of magic by minions but huge scale dragon fights would probably be avoided.
On waking up I presume there’s a few triggers for a dragon to wake up:
1. They get immensely hungry and they need breakfast
2. Magic has been detected through either themselves (Mordremoth getting a whiff of the waylines) or through their minions (The Great Destroyer for example).
It’s still got an active community, check out Guild Wars: A New Hope on Facebook.
Just the other day I got Grandmaster Elonian Cartographer and working on Tyria now
I agree or even add in some monetary gain. How can we buy the new rewards if we can’t afford them?
My biggest annoyance with the event is no gold gain. Only loss.
1. It costs money to waypoint
2. To buy items at the new vendor you have to complete events and make back your money and more elsewhere
Then there’s the fact there is no XP or karma gain during the event when it’s in a low level zone that should be brimming with new players.
There’s nothing to earn or any feelings of achievement in this event, you can only spend
Wait hang on
“Mordrem Guard, at least the very powerful ones, use corpses as a blueprint to form their physiology”
If you’re saying these trees used corpses for the blueprint for their offspring does that mean that the Sylvari we play are based on Ronan to an extent?
Also for pure speculation, I wonder if there’s some sort of Prime Mordrem Guard that is used as a foundation to grow more Guards for each tree or whether each tree is able to produce it’s own guard and variants with the ability to modify it using different corpses. Or it maybe just a case of recycling the dead to create their troops
Because I can’t imagine a tree producing a guard that will then die to be used at another different tree because that would surely create mutations/undesired traits because it was a copy of a copy. Who knows
I’m mixed.
I like Legendary armor, titles and Guild Hall items buut
I am worried about enrage timers (which ok fair enough it stops players cheesing out the boss for an hour) and bosses being locked behind masteries. I can see it being “LFG Ursanbearboway 10k AP 10/8 LB/norn mastery titles”
GW1 is a very different game though, at least in terms of mechanics. Some people who love GW1 hate GW2 and vice versa. Of course in terms of lore it takes place in the same universe (but 250 years earlier).
I think you mean GW1 is a better game. OP wont regret giving it a go
None of those started in or are unique to WoW and half are in GW1.
Who is Primordius?
Honestly I’d rather see a Cantha expansion
People will stupid opinions on leddit? shocking!

Question to Devs about Ascended armors
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Bottom line is that anyone should be able to have access to best gear without being forced to do something you don’t like (if i can buy it at TP, even expensive it is fine).
This here we call entitlement. The same argument could be used for anything – “I don’t like doing x content, but I want the reward for x content. This is not fair!”.
no.no it’s not. It’s called Guild Wars 1. Where armor value didn’t matter at max level but your skill level and build did. The problem is, is that we don’t want grinding and we don’t want to or have the need to grind for max stat armor
Isnt the expansion 1 map split into 3 biomes though?
No, No, NO, a thousand times NO! There are multiple PvE maps with 3 biomes. Where are people getting this idea from???
Hello, lately I’ve not logged on to the game much because I’ve found it hard to find content that interests me and it leads me to question whether this is either A. a lack of content in the game or B. Personal fault.
To preface I’ve been a GW fan since factions and have owned GW2 since launch. But for the life of me I’ve always found it hard to find things to do in GW2
I’ve tried:
- Dungeons, I got Dungeon master and was finally glad I never have to run through them again
*Fotm: Gotten to level 20 odd, gotten bored of grinding through the levels for the slight chance of an ascended weapon/armor chest
*PvP: I definitely gave this a shot, I had some fun but it’s really not for me
*WvW: I enjoy this the most, but finding groups to war with can take ages
*Mini games: Some I dislike, some I like but not enough for me to load up the game just to play them
*Story achievements: Cutscenes and frustrating achievements have ruined this for me
*Boss chains: grind.
*SW farming: more grind
It all seems to boil do to one thing: grinding/farming. Repeating the same event chains/dungeons/bosses and activities over and over. It’s pointless and it bores me utterly. And please don’t tell me GW2 doesn’t have grind because some korean grind2win game did. Because that game had more it doesn’t mean GW2 doesn’t have any grind.
Let’s look at GW1. As of right now I’ve almost finished Vanquisher of Elona and then moving onto Tyria at a rate of one vanquish a day. It will take me well over a month and I’m enjoying it. Is it repetitive? you could argue yes because I’m killing creatures over and over but saying that, each day I’m seeing a different area with different foes and a new atmosphere. This content entertains me. It will take awhile but I am progressing and having an adventure not killing the same mobs in the same map over and over.
I will acknowledge however that the game did have some extremely grindy titles like Luxon/kurzick/treasure hunter or collector and many people did farm the same areas (DoA, norn title, UW) but the game and it’s updates/campaigns/expansion did and do not revolve around these grinds and there was plenty to do 2 years within the game without tidbits of content every 2 weeks.
So I implore you ArenaNet, make sure there is lots of real content in Heart of Thorns such as your precursor gathering idea and not just the basic story, farming and repeatable content that can get stale fast.
Please discuss and hopefully disprove me and show me something to do
“By trolling I mean non-malicious trolling.” why suck the fun out of it?
Nuclear bombs, napalm, nuclear bombs, nuclear bombs, tanks, fighter jets, nuclear bombs
Been working on titles and it runs smoothly for me
You tried to be random and funny. It hasn’t worked I’m sorry.
Calling it now, it’s either like people said: a gem store collection of episodes or maybe it’s in boxed form and/or added to the box in stores
Honestly I’d like Thief to get Rifle to shoot like a sniper, or greatsword and fight more duelist than berserker.
And I don’t see why Engineers don’t have hammers, it makes no sense!
Best way is to buy them Guild Wars 1 instead
How about “Skreeeeeeeonk”!?
