A suggestion…
The new world bosses are supposedly targeted at servers.. to bring them together as a community. However what actually happens is this becomes content for massive guilds (TTS) and they get challenging instanced content (because they create their own overflows).
So for challenging instanced content we have content designed for 5 people and content designed for 150 people. There are of course guild missions which can be completed with 10 – 25 people depending on the missions but they can only be done once a week and are over very quickly… 150 man content can be done every day is challenging and rewarding and unlike guild missions is instanced.
Could we please get another guild mission type like the world bosses? That take some time to do are challenging and instanced for small guild groups (10 – 40 people)?
Or perhaps something a little longer (takes 30m to and hour) like hard mode dungeons that scale to 10 – 40 players? Something to give the little guys something to do everyday together as well?
Any other guild content suggestions (other than GvG.. I’m talking PvE guild content here) would be appreciated… or additions to my quick suggestions.
I love this change. That is all.
1) Party sizes larger than 5 (I want to be able to party with my whole guild if possible, or at least a large number 20+)
2) Dungeons that scale to new party size (new dungeons that scale or old dungeons scaling or raids… large group instances.. I have to say this every time, I don’t care about rewards, everything can be equal, I just want instanced content for a large group so I don’t have to keep telling guildies “next run man, sorry, full guild run already”)
3) Condition damage cap… with the above changes this would need to be fixed
Yep.. love this new journal thing.. I wonder how many people suggested it?

Surely there’s more… Anyways, just another example that we’re being listened to and ideas are definitely being improved upon. I really can’t wait for season 2 to start… The fact that we’ll be able to do extra achievements after we’ve completed it.. sort of like the hard mode in GW1 missions or the extra objectives.. sort of what it reminds me of anyway.
Countess Anises voice. Yes, her voice is even hotter than her looks :P
I think I’m inclined to agree with you :-P
I hate you Anet.
Allow me to propose an alternative to power creep that keeps the same kind of progression. Inspired by GW1.
Step 1: Create a monster ability that is so powerful it must be countered in order to progress (done).
Step 2: Create a counter that players have to work for, but that DOES NOT CAUSE POWER CREEP. Example: Doing a series of quests and/or dungeons in order to “Infuse” your armor with magical protection against the Mursaat. This simultaneously introduces content chains, progression, and reward. And it doesn’t involve power creep. Yay!
Step 0.5: Realize this is a good idea, note that you have a 5000 response thread, the majority of which hates your new idea, and halt the release. Eat the short-term loss, suck it up, and go back to the drawing board. Release the content when you have a properly GW-ish system in place.I will not buy any expansions of GW2, ever, if it includes Power Creep.
It runs 100% counter to the reasons I enjoy GW2 in the first place, and takes away my reason for playing here instead of another sandbox, like say, EVE Online.
Once agian, another idea I would prefer… a quest to make current armor “infused”.
So many good suggestions, will we ever get a response about any of them I wonder? Should some of these perhaps be thrown over into the suggestions forum?
had no idea this was happening.. hopefully it gets added as an option to disable, right click is for camera rotation only (well.. for me)
Yeah, I’m disappointed, just watching the manifesto again is heartbreaking… maybe some of the Dev’s are watching it too and also rage in frustration?
As for feedback… there is still time to apply a new mechanic that will mitigate the “feeling of wasted effort” that we are all having. Making our current gear upgrade (get mats from the new dungeon put them in the forge = Ascended armor) will help ease the transition as all the gold we spend “doesn’t get wasted” and after that forgetting about new tiers and simply manage upgrades through infusions (different dungeons require different infusions).
In the meantime I will stay cautiously optimistic, I’m abandoning my alts since I don’t know if I can keep up 1 toon “up to date”, maintaining all 8 would be impossible for me (regretting buying the extra toon slots..).
Also I must stop gem purchases for now, not making a “stand” or anything like that simply, as your resident economist adviser can tell you, in times of uncertainty rational people stop spending money, at least until they feel its safe to spend again.
Right now I don’t feel safe.
+1, This.. please this.. Make current exotics upgradeable somehow.. you get an item that allows you to MF an exotic armor into ascended armor and you get to keep the skin. I would be very happy with this… it feels less like I wasted my time getting my exotics.. less like I’m being forced to get new gear, but instead enhancing the gear I already have.
+1 Cancer’s comment if you agree please ^.^
I can’t speak for “most” players, but I don’t feel cheated on… and I’m not sure where they ever said the game would be pvp centered… I do remember them saying they wanted this to evolve into an esport but I don’t think they ever said it was supposed to be solely centered around pvp.
I hope they do add in more stuff to pvp, but I also hope they continue to add things into the game everywhere… PvE, WvW and sPvP and any other side projects like SAB… I enjoy it all and personally want to see all aspects continue to grow and be refined.
Isn’t it a GOOD thing that there is more viable builds? How many banner warriors do you see now? If it goes up by a bit, good… Not everyone should be running the same build.
sounds like a great suggestion. i don’t see why there’s anything wrong with this… new status, “Online for Represented Guild” or “Offline Outside Guild”
Sad, my 8 Legendaries are worth less then. I always saw Legendaries not only as a cool skin, but also as a great utility to invest in, changing stats.
Now Legendaries arent even unique anymore, except for the skin and +1 Infusion slot…
Legendaries get a free stat switch any time you want outside of combat. This new ascended stat switching requires you to Mystic Forge the item with the insignia for the stats you want (ascended insignia, not cheap) 5 ectos and 10 of the new shards… and you don’t keep the runes or sigils or infusions that are in the original item. I think legendaries still have a LOT going for them… so… make like a Reaper and Chill?

I’d love to see this turned into a living story.. and then the final part of it would be to add this as a PERMANENT dungeon. First just introduce the story dungeon and then as time progresses add in explorable paths if they can’t do it all in one shot.
I wonder how hard it would be (and if the community would like it) if instead of a damage threshold, there was a variety of factors that could contribute towards a mob tag such as reviving people within a certain radius of the mob, doing damage to the mob, granting to buffs to people within a certain radius of the mob etc. I kind of find it surprising that only doing damage is seen as being helpful when I would think reviving others and giving boons should be a rewarded play-style.
I’ve played since launch OP… I was in the betas and have played almost everyday since (with few exceptions). I usually only play 2 hours a night during the week and a little more on weekends… For players like me… I have one of every class at 80. I’ve done all the fractals. I’ve run all the dungeons. Done the PS, LS (and all achieves), map completion…. Still running dungeons and fractals though.. And running through the PS again.. Then the LS again.. And map completion again.. Jumping puzzles and mini dungeons I do a few times a week as well… Man.. I love the game.. And I’m going to keep playing… But for those of us who have done it all.. An expansion is sounding pretty good about now, after 2.5 years.
The majority of boss fights I’ve seen thus far have required zero communication and/or organization, and have basically been five people soloing a champ that happened to pop during a dynamic event – it just happens that they’re all in a dungeon/fractal together.
Soft trinity + bosses with ADD and no taunts = that. Hard trinity isn’t necessary. Organization to the fight is.
I think you’re missing something here… AC P1.. Are you telling me that people that have never done this dungeon wouldn’t need to communicate to take down the burrows? They’ll just walk down there, see stuff spawn, kill it all and win? I really don’t think so. Think of your first time there… before people knew what to do. Maybe you didn’t experience that.. I know I did, every dungeon, before people knew what to do, was very difficult and wipes were a very common occurrence. A lot of players have had 2 years experience with these dungeons.. over and over and over and over.. I don’t believe that if you add in a trinity or a soft trinity or ANYTHING will make it so people need to communicate if they’ve run that same content for YEARS. I honestly think everything is fine as is… we just need NEW dungeons or paths. Well.. thats my take on it anyway.
Logged in just to say.. I love this idea.
it’s the lack of all these things that really make this fun for me… It adds challenge in a way, no minimap means you really need to pay attention to where everyone is going or if you’re just joining someone would need to come back and guide you to the rest of the group. It’s especially important that there is no health regen, if there were i think i’d die a little inside.
I think I like all of these suggestions… although when it comes to resources, I’d prefer they all have an equal chance to drop/be farmed (jute 17% chance, wool 16% chance, cotton 16% chance, linen 16% chance, silk 16% chance and gossamer 16% chance).
But yea, all points are awesome.
So, this has been suggested before, and I will once again say that I’d support this idea.. however, one change I’d like to see made is instead of a last login time, a last represented time would be better which would account for login time as well(because if they’re not online, they’re not representing).
Yea… this was a bit dissapointing… I honestly thought there was going to be something new announced that we didn’t already have information for.
MMORPG, why you crush my dreams?
Wow, this thread is a mess. They are cramming anything related to this topic right into this one and making it even more confusing than it already is. What real dev is going to even bother reading it now? lol.
This… I can’t find the posts I made or the responses to them anymore.. I was trying to carry on a conversation in a small spinoff thread.. and now, it’s like the posts don’t exist.. you can search for them, but if you click on them, they’re no where to be found…
I think one of the core complaints that gets made regarding maps in general is that there are fewer people running around the land. You can say this about Orr, you can say it about Queensdale… there are fewer people running around. I don’t mind the amount of people in Queensdale to be honest, there aren’t too many and I don’t think too few… although some people would argue otherwise. A suggestion made many times was to add an “underflow” server.. that was the term used, but it basically allows you to consolidate into another server that may be more populated.. sort of the opposite concept of the overflow servers, hence the name. Just thought I’d bring that up here as I think that, on top of taking the CC down a bit, would help the Orrian maps.
Love the idea. I always thought that character parking at jumping puzzles and mesmer portals were cheap and unintended. You can’t feel accomplished for doing something if everyone just gets it the quick and easy way… and then camps the place. I would think that’s also why they don’t make it rewarding.
Make jumping puzzles rewarding, it’s one of my favorite content. If you don’t like the jumping puzzles but are parking your characters there just for the loot, you don’t deserve the loot to begin with. If you took a mesmer portal.. same thing, you don’t deserve the loot or the achievement for that JP… this makes achievements mean nothing, what’d you achieve? Pressing F? Please LET ACHIEVEMENTS MEAN SOMETHING. What they did with the Retrospective Runaround (the newest one in silverwastes) was awesome, just not rewarding enough.

I just wanted to chime in and say I am NOT IN FAVOR of these ideas:
- Representing multiple guilds simultaneously
- Ending representation
- Earning influence for multiple guilds simultaneously
- Reducing the number of guilds you can join
- Completely doing away with build queues (as queues are one of the few ways small guilds can keep up with large guilds)
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask.. but can I ask why you’re not in favor of items 1, 2 and 3?
If you’re not in favor of them, you could always ask that your members only be in one guild.
Some people complain about this but… I’m sorry, I think it’s ridiculous. People are entitled to their opinions, sure. You don’t like that they’re charging 200 gems if you don’t log in to get it free when it’s available for free… fine. I think it’s fine though. They need to make money and if charging just 200 gems for people to replay what they would have missed anyway is one way of doing it, that’s cool by me. I won’t be missing it anyway :-P
I sort of wish they came up with a way for us to vote on the news articles or had votes as on certain features so they could see (or maybe even in game votes like evon vs kiel) how many people really disliked these ideas. I can’t help but think the majority would be ok with this…
I’m sorry Anet, but I can’t afford your game anymore.
I agree. It is totally unfair to expect me to log into a game once every 2 weeks, assuming I care about the story or the game.
You can’t be bothered to double click an icon on your desktop, enter a password, wait 1 minute, then alt+f4? There are 20160 minutes in 2 weeks. I think you can set one of them aside to log in and out of the game. This is really only a problem for people who purchase the game 1+ years from now.
pretty sure that’s some sarcasm you’re replying to.
I’m still hoping they throw in a selection of skills per weapon skill slot… This has been suggested many times.. I’m hoping that some day one of these threads gets a response :-/ (and that I’ll be notified.. that’d be cool too).
lol you know, I’m still not done with the current content and new stuff is coming out.. I’m approaching 800 hours in game and I’m not done yet.. kitten I’m slow.
Continuing the point of the thread… things that makes Guild Wars 2 awesome:
1) Jumping Puzzles. I love these.. I love the excitement and tension as I almost fall off a giant cliff, where every step made could be your “last”. The satisfaction I feel once I complete one with my friends as we all laugh at each other from falling etc.
2) Dungeons. Holy crap are these things hard.. once you actually get a strategy down (other than zerging, which makes you frustrated from deaths and repair bills) you feel immensely satisfied. Granted the groups I run with do a lot of zerging, but some bosses just don’t allow this at all (explorable modes). I have a feeling that once all the boss strategies are compiled people won’t complain as much about how difficult these are and worry more about strategy execution.
3) Armor and Weapon Skins. Gotta say, there’s a lot to love here. Some things look silly (lol those bows someone posted, the unicorn/rainbow bow) but a lot of other skins look down right badkitten (i love how they replace everything with “kitten” or “kitty”, makes the forums a little more comical to read).
4) The storyline. I haven’t completed it, but I’ve loved it so far.
The game is amazing and I can’t wait to get home to continue playing.
At first I hated ascended gear
And I still do.
The whole system spits on the name of Guild Wars.
And yet it’s the only thing that keeps half of the playerbase from quitting GW2.
Sadly progression is needed for longevity.Sure we could do with just 1m players instead of 3m, but I for one prefer to have an harmless progression if it means more players in the game.
I’m not so sure that Ascended gear is what is keeping half of the current players playing… A lot of the people in my guild got their Ascended rings pretty quickly and only continued to progress because the loot was better the further up in fractals they went, really just running the high levels for Exotic drops.. for Exotics, not Ascended gear (as they are account bound anyway). I have a feeling that if they just introduced fractals without Ascended gear or Agony that things would still be in about the same state as they are now. There are still posts going on saying there isn’t enough of a gear treadmill and there are posts still complaining about the introduction of Ascended gear (not that this is one, I know it isn’t / wasn’t meant to be). Either way, it happened and it’s here to stay I just wanted to point out the possibility that the Ascended gear might not have as drastic of an impact on the populace as you might think.
For all those using TV shows as an analogy; keep in mind that you are paying for a service package to watch the channel to begin with; be it cable or satellite. Even if you’re going through Hulu or Netflix, you’re still paying a fee to watch those episodes. So they aren’t technically free to begin with. The only real exception to this is if you’re watching ‘local’ channels, which is not what the majority of you are talking / thinking about.
Anywho, back on topic, I’m perfectly fine with this route – LS leading up and into the expansion story line. It’s actually what I’ve suggested they do since very early in the LS development. I rather like it, personally.
Except that you can since you are paying for your internet service already to play GW2. I can watch my TV shows on Hulu from the internet for free , all I have to do is pay for my internet service. So yah if you look at it that way you can compare.
Living Story had a rocky start and it just started getting really good, but now Anet is throwing that away because some people can’t get away from old habits.
WRONG. You do NOT watch Hulu for free.. EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR IT. You will see ads. The ads are how they generate revenue. Do you wants ads in GW2 so they can generate revenue? No? Didn’t think so. Paid expansion please and thank you. I’m glad they gave us free content to tie the stories together from base game to expansion and look forward to this continued process.
Also.. as others pointed out.. the television providers pay the content providers.. your ISP doesn’t pay anet.
When reading massive posts like these I really rely on the dev posts.. because I can’t read every single post from every single person.. WAY too much, so thanks for bringing up the points you’ve gather from other posters Chris and Colin.
So, knowing that pacing (story is too slow, seems disjointed, releases are too fast, 2 weeks can be killer) is covered, which I agree with, I’ll move on to cover some other points.
In a television series, you can rewatch episodes. If the episode is something you really like, you rewatch it.. or if you miss it one week, you can rewatch it later. I think a lot of people have mentioned this, that there is no way currently to redo some of the living story (which I can understand would be hard, you can’t just remake the world to what it was for that one player). So what I think would be neat is a way to at least track the living story in a fashion similar to how we can track our personal story.. We have that personal story tab that essentially shows us a synopsis of how our personal story progressed. I’d love it if that story tab had subtabs, one for the personal story and then one tab for each story arc (so currently, one for personal story, one for scarlet). This way people could at least read what happened and be up to speed with the current storyline.
Wait, wtf? you threw mini’s in the forge?! You MONSTER!
I know we can change legendaries stats. You’re not getting the point; this was what legendaries made so unique despite the skins.
I’d like to say.. No. You’re not getting the point. Legendaries are still unique… because of what I said. They still hold a unique advantage over ascended items even if ascended items can have their stats swapped from a Mystic Forge recipe.
With Legendaries the swapping is free and convenient. With Ascended it’s expensive and inconvenient.
It’s crafting 25% of a new ascended item… You’re just not having to cover the cost of the blade, the hilt (in a sword example), or the vision crystal. That helps reduce the cost.. sure.. but you still need to BUY or CRAFT the insignia whose stats you want. You also can’t do this out and about… you have to do it at a Mystic Forge.
Legendaries are still superior and have a unique advantage, end of story.
Lol.. Swapping stats on ascended is expensive? Ever made a legendary?
Swapping asc stats is like doing 1% worth of going through a Legendary..This is what u dont get: Nobody will ever swap asc stands on its armor/weps for 50 times, unless he’s an idiot and likes to pain himself.
Result: You can swap stats just like legendary but you dont need legendary to do it, u only have to do 1min work of MF.
It’s not like ppl with legendaries swap stats 20 times a day, I only do it once every 3-5months, depending on the patches.
TL:DR: we need to pay +3000gold to have a “Legendary” weapon where we can swap stats where other will only have to pay 40-80g per piece with 1min work of Mkitten. Its not like ppl change stats every day, most do it every balance patch (roughly once every 6 months). And certainly biggest part sticking to Berserker’s anyway (for PvE).
Legendaries has lots their “uniqueness” quite long ago, excluding skin-wise.
Yes.. I have made a legendary. The Flameseeker Prophecies, love that shield. Anyways… It doesn’t matter what the initial investment was… it’s still free on Legendaries. I pretty much never change the stats on it… but I think that will change with the patch as I’ll be experimenting more with builds and that freedom is nice. You don’t like the change, I get it. Sorry you don’t. I do and I think it works better for many people. It doesn’t make me value my legendary any less… maybe it does for you, sorry you see it that way.
Since OP’s proposal would remove people who are at jps and decrease the numbers doing them (removing those who need a portal) shouldn’t he have titled his proposal
Making Jumping puzzle dead again [SOLUTION]
I Suugestion OP go back and edit his title to make it more correct.
It wouldn’t reduce the number of people doing them. It would reduce the number of people camping at the end.. and the number of people taking portals to just get to the end. It WOULD however give people incentive to do it legitimately if the rewards were appropriate. That’s what I’d personally like to see.
I’ve been running on 3840×2160 about a year, and have had no problems @4K. That being said, 4K performance is wildly dependant on your rig. The difference between standard 1920×1080 and 3840×2160 is significant, and even with the beastly right I am currently running, I rarely hold 60 FPS during large WvW fights. My suggestion, don’t go 4K unless your rig can handle it, you aren’t going to be able to appreciate the difference in resolution if your framerate drops.
As far as the game supporting 4K, it does and looks fantastic (however the interface could probably use some scaling work on higher resolutions). I’ll look into it, but I wouldn’t expect anything soon as 4K isn’t exactly mainstream.
Do you think.. we could get an interface scaling slider? Because… I’d like it a lot if I could make it smaller.
People… you don’t NEED LS1.. or LS2.. or LS3.. If we we’re on LS4, you could play LS4 without having any of the previous LS’s… You know, right at the start, that’s better than other models where you need all previous content to play the current.
Now.. if each LS was called an expansion.. but if you’re playing when it released you got it for free and everyone else after had to buy it… I think most people would realize that this model is already common place (except for the free part for people currently playing.. sweet deal). The only difference is that they’re breaking it up by episodes and allowing you to buy each individual one if you wish OR you can just start playing the newest LS for free like everyone else. This is a good thing. This model is good. It’s good for us and good for them.
Also.. I know i made the comparison to the expansion model.. but an even better comparison that they themselves have used… Television series. You watch it for free on TV when it airs.. after that, you need to buy the season (in some cases, like this one, you can buy by the episode). Once again, this is a good model. It’s been used before and I’m glad it’s being used here.
I can’t for the life of me understand peoples complaints… Should everything in the world be free? Don’t you realize that “other” games.. other forms of media.. do this very same thing?
(edited by callidus.7085)
To be honest, I don’t care if there are other forums out there or other tools that would allow me to create a unique identity for my character… I’d much rather have ANet create something for it.. an “armory” of sorts (I’m sorry for the WoW reference, I don’t really know of anything else to compare it to) that would show off what I’m wearing and display my character bio.. that I could write in and out of game and have it show up in both places.. and other people could have a right-click “About” option for each player that would show them your biography.. I really liked that feature in Star Wars Galaxies, I put a lot of time and effort into my character bio ^.^
One of the things I’ve been saying a lot lately.. make it so the weapon slot skills can be customized.. maybe 2 – 4 options per slot or make it so there are 6 – 12 mainhand skill options for a given class/weapon and 4 – 8 offhand skill options for a given class/weapon.. that’d add a lot of depth to character builds.. which i love ^.^
Another thing that I think would be really cool.. i know it sort of goes against the current utility skill acquisition system.. but more elites that you can capture off of dungeon bosses or the dragons after defeating them etc.. adding a sort of mini-game of skill capturing.. like GW1.. yea yea yea, i know, this isn’t GW1.. but still, it’s a cool idea.. I’m not saying have the same amount of elite skills… fewer but still acquired by doing something like a SM dungeon or defeating one of the dragon champions (Kralkatorrik, Tequatl etc.)
Obligatory can I have your gold post.
A.net is catering to the huge majority that makes up the casual market. This majority wants a fun open world with huge world events. Ten man instances with gear gating, trinity and other nonsense is not on their to-do list. Feel free to go back to the stand-still, rote rotation, gearcheck, healer/tank covering your mistakes gameplay in WoW.
Ten man instances don’t need to have gear gating or a trinity… not sure about the “other nonsense” you don’t specify. You really don’t need to make this hostile.
Making the current dungeons allow for more people while scaling difficulty and not increasing rewards, just keeping them as they are to allow more people to play together, is not a bad thing.
There really should be more encouragement going on here in the suggestion forums or if you don’t support it (why would you NOT support allowing dungeons to cater to large groups of people? My guild and I would have SO much fun with this) just say you don’t support it :-/
See? everyone loved capping elites! lol so, instead of making it a part of content you normally wouldn’t want to do.. make it a one time reward from killing Kralkatorrik and the like (everyone wants to do that, right? i would hope so…).. and also make these particular elites less desirable than the elites you unlock via skill points similar to how the racial elites are supposed to be weaker than the class elites… that way you shouldn’t be seen as “needing” them to compete.
I know it’s already been suggested, but for this QOL stuff I’d really like to see:
1) A way to manage in game events for a guild (Guild Calendar)
2) A chat channel for each guild you are in (so repping is not required to see chat)
To be honest.. It’d be nice to get rid of the idea of “repping” altogether.
Yea, an arena would be nice… different skills would be nice too.. I wish it were more like the Dragon Arena and required more skill.. or maybe I’m doing it wrong.. I got the mad king outfit and just walk into a group of brawlers and spam 2 and 3.
I think this could be broken into two pvp matches..
One that had a certain amount of rounds of one team defending and one team attacking and switching off between rounds.. where victory was decided either by the attackers killing off the guild lord or the defenders lasting through whatever timer was running.
The other would be having 2 castles and the first guild that has their guild lord killed loses.. that might be interesting.. forcing each group to have both an offensive and defensive group.. or they could try all one or the other.. the timer on this one would be longer and if the allotted time ran out the victor would be declared as whoever had the most enemy kills… this adds some interesting game play as you could amass a sizable amount of enemy kills only to lose the game at the last second as the enemy rushed you and took out your guild lord.
you missed it, you were supposed to complete up to Noll before 12PM PST, it’s now 1hr past that time.
Yes, it’s taught me all these things as well… PLUS!
(In Russian accent) “In Super Adventure Box, Worm eat you!”
This would help some… but depending on a few things it might not accomplish your goal “To make it worth completing events”.
If it was faster to restart the events (and thus get fresh champions to farm which spawn at the start of the event) by failing the event then this wouldn’t help… if it was faster to restart the event by completing it… it would.
Now this means one of two things, either we have events that recycle very quickly (which some people don’t like because there’s no lasting affect of the completion) or we have events that don’t get completed.
I think your idea, combined with better event completion rewards and more events would help encourage people to complete events and then move on to another event. If the event completion rewards were good enough to outweigh the desire to spawn champions, you might even see less zergs and more people out in the open world completing random events. Not sure if that was also one of your intended goals… but I personally would really like to see rewards tied to the events themselves… have the random champions out in the open world have a lootbox (they should be rewarding to kill) but the ones that spawn in events shouldn’t be as good, the focus shouldn’t be on the mobs but on the event itself.
Well, that’s my thoughts on it anyway.
I really think that a fight like this should be instanced. This is what a raid could be, make it another guild mission (but please for the love of small/medium guilds require less people).
