Yeah the A D swings are a bit violent particularly with hi ping and low fps.

I’d agree the dogs as just veterans are a bit hard. With a ping over 400 it was a bit hard to dodge and i was downed as an Ele.
The rest was a bit hard but better than some of the LS2 I’m going through now.

Looking into this, there appears to be two completely separate taxes.

The first is the ‘Netflix tax’ , which came into effect from the 1 July 2017. This applies to any ‘imported services and digital products’.

The totally separate tax, ‘Online Goods’ tax, is due to come into effect next year on 1 July 2018. This tax will apply to imported (physical) goods less than $1000. Over $1000 is already meant to have GST tax paid.

So, GW2 is a digital product, falls under the ‘Netflix tax’ , and we’re meant to be paying tax for this now, as of the start of last month.

The other separate wrinkle, is that for Australian consumers, the displayed/advertised price has to include tax. Anet should be advertising the game for sale for the final price, not the one before tax. Anet shouldn’t be springing this price change on us Aussies in the checkout process.

Schedule 1—Tax integrity: extending GST to digital products and other services imported by consumers

where as the $1k gst is covered by

I’d like to git gud but I can’t improve my ping or overcome it.
I dislike dropping into a living story episode with no idea how long it will take or what i’m ment to be doing.
I’m a filthy casual who works and stuff. I don’t want to have to study videos etc on each step forward in this game

I bought the set of 5 and put my permanent bank access, copper fed, and 3 permanent harvesting tools in it. Now each of my chars has access to my bank no matter where they are, a copper fed salvage kit of their very own and (If I remember to switch out the tools) they have a set of permanent tools.

I thought it was well worth it for a convenience item and only wished to have another one for my Royal Terrace pass. I never thought we could get this much, certainly not a whole set of 20.

There needs to be an alternate route.
I’m hitting the wall at the JP, mastery (Don’t knock yourself out) and PVP.

wouldn’t it be easier for someone who experiences it on a reg basis versus someone who doesn’t? I would of thought you’d adjust by now.

I choose to learn the winter jp when it was first released and was actually a race against time. It wasn’t as relaxed as it was now, you had to race to get past the presents because they didnt respawn after popping.

Yeah I can’t make myself decide any quicker. When you see something onscreen you already have 400+ms less to decide what action to take .Then the execution back. Plus there is some unknown location problem.
Lightning tether always stops me completing sanctum sprint coz it throws me off it’s target.

I play for AP champ boxes and nodes atm.

Just want to vent my frustration at this particular item being locked behind the JP! For the last 2 weeks I’ve completed it twice…One day after 4 hours I just had it.
I completely stopped playing. I have had absolutely no desire to continue with any of the Wintersday festivities any more.
JP in this game are usually never a requirement, I mostly skip over them and have completed them at least once for map completion. But not without having to get my mindset on being extremely frustrated.
That being said, as a GW fan of the first game and still not too sure about GW2, I’ve become disheartened with the game I’ve loved all these years and the freedom to choose what you want to do without the fear of feeling you need to catch up. I’ve quit games that felt like it was a full time job. I already have one.
For you JP fans that it comes easy for, Kudos to you! But I can’t help feeling a large loss that I won’t be able to complete “goals” I’ve set for myself in this game, including some bad experiences from the HoT exp., but that’s another day.
I hope Anet reconsiders this option next year and possibly extends some other choices to the JP challenged!

Mid is the killing zone. If your team is not the one doing it go to the outers. Suicide 1 or two at mid and they’ll be too busy to look at the score.

Probably not the ‘best name’ I’ve seen in game, but it certainly gave me a giggle. A very funky little Asura named Feargal Sharkey. If you don’t know the name he was a singer back in the 80’s – bit of a one hit wonder. I wish I had screenshotted him.

Mine is never under 400 . I die a bit.

I’ve only ever used my 4k on 4k for a few minutes. 1080 is fine.
I’d prefer games be able to operate at the lowest specs possible.

Same had pronlems getting in to a PvP game where we had 3 vs 4. So others having problems as well.

Two characters I can’t use. The others in other areas fine.

Can’t get into Southsun Cove for Karka Queen.
Earlier had disconnects trying to get into Golem Mark II event.

Everytime I get close to stumping up for HoT technical problems pop up.

Don’t like the Dragon’s Tooth becoming an aimed skill. It was the only chance to do decent damage in Wurm and Ulgoth pre to try and get a bag. Which mostly didn’t happen.
Now with the zerg and graphics turned down to stop crash, no chance of finding the aim spot.
