Why should i pay 30 USD for the POF power Creep.
McKenna stated that WvW update release on its own cadence and will continue to release updates for WvW outside of the expansion release.
Thats means New WvW specs should be released on its own cadence but not tie with the POF expansion and 30 USD. Give us WvW specialization in free or with a lower price (maybe 5 USD or some gem). I don’t give a F about the PVE content.

Golem rush double WXP week and WvW tournament will simple solve all the problems. Who cares about rank requirement and pipssssssssssssssss if i can rush rank quickly and acquire the tickets directly.

Put the WvW tournament event in the gem store , i will pay for it. The PVEs pip farmers and WvW hardcores will pay for it too. Anet this is the biggest gem sales chance in the GW2 history.

No. ANET has already admitted that tournaments caused permanent burn outs (lengthening the duration of matches does that for most games).

I do not get why you complain of this being unfair? Did you put in time and effort in WvW when the one tournament that provided tickets was being run? Sounds to me like you want something for nothing.

Please be aware that the tournament was not part of the game price, wvw was yes, and those that participated in the tourny got their rewards, those that didnt have the game at that point yes they wont get any, but thats not the fault of anyone. Those that chose not to partake in the tourny is only the fault of themselves seems a bit strange that the complaints are onlyhappening now becoz wvw FINALLY got some rewards after going through years of nothing while PVE and PVP seem to have gotten everything…
This has not damaged PVP or PVE in anyway shape or form and TBH a lot of vets from WVW are not happy that pvers have gate crashed there game mode and afk at spawn for these pips… That is the real problem…
Those pvers that have come to wvw and want to learn and play we welcome them, just not thsoe that sole purpose is to farm pips and waste space and time.
I think raids, fotm, new pve maps, living story, sab, events, etc were not part of the game price too. They are new added content. Does it mean that anet can delete them.
I canew players can’t get some of the AP from the beginning of the game because the APsbarent offered anymore..

The tickets are now called skirmish tickets. There are no longer ‘tournament tickets’
You forget the achivement and APs from these tournament. The new players can never finish them.

We need morrrrrrrrrrrrrre WvW tickets. The WvW population is balanced with the server link system. It’s the time to make a poll and let the gamers (PVE) vote for it. The people who vote for nope are just bad because we have to grind 10 years longer for our WvW leg. back ,T3 WvW armors and T2 WvW weapaons.

This is the simplest way to fix your game anet. You can also add more regen type boons. e.g. regen type 1 with high regen heal and short period of time which is similar to buring. Regen type 2 heal potency increased by 33% which is similar to poisoning. Regen type 3 get additional heal while you are moving which is similar to torment.
Season 6 has already been by far the most dead. Quality of competition has gone down because top players are leaving the game. This demoralizes anyone who wants to play at a high level in PvP. Lots of my pvp friends are already left gw2 and told me they will never come back to this game. They pvp seasons are as cancer as the WvW tournament and the ESL. I think its the time to shut it down. What another epic fail created by anet.
I think i have to celebrate until tomorrow morning. The next thing they have to do is shutdown the PVP tournament.

Although I can imagine them making a new tangled depths ebg type map and then trying to replace ebg with it, until we get through 10 polls asking if it should stay or be deleted, if it should replace ebg or be on rotation, or just exist along side ebg.

T1 have the lowest PPK/K+D compared to the other three tiers. It is obviously that anet’s population counting machine is out of function. If the population are equal between the four tier, how could t1 come with the lowest PPK/K+D ratio. It didn’t make sense and i think its the time to open bg/mag and with a linked server.
The higher WvW activities = The higher WvW population = The higher PPK/K+D
Server population should counted by WvW activities level but not server population or players game time.
If mag/bg rolled T2 in the next WvW reset, they will be blobbed by Server with multiple links e.g. jq+sor+ar or fa,et,ioj. which had twice K+D ratio than mag/bg.
This statistics is take by the time of this topic – jq+sor+ar had a total 24700 K+D
but mag and bg only had a 9300 K+D and 13500 K+D. This is clearly shows that jq+sor+ar had a double population compare to BG and mag.
Server link? what a disaster.
Anet should link mag with bg so they can have enough population to fight against jq+sor+ar, 9300+13500=22800 which is near to 24700.

People are leaving WvW is because anet ignore this game mode. There is nothing wrong with the WvW tournament. It brings lots of players into WvW during the tournament. The big population decline after WvW tournament is an excuse by anet. It’s too naive to shirk the faults to the players.
A years after the HOT expansion and the WvW overhaul is just a joke. We find out that anet will only focus on PVE, FOTM, raid, living story, pvp and the next expansion.
The PPK/KDR in december shown that lots of the players left WvW and will never come back. You shut down the WvW tournament as the impact to the WvW population. On the other hand, what had you done when thousand of players left WvW due to lack of WvW update and the same boring content over 4 years.
WvW need a tournament to bring the old players back. There is no reason playing WvW now as winning is meaningless.
Yep, you got it. Its true that Anet should rework the entire WvW mode. The problem is the people are still playing WvW so anet would not care about it. They would say WvW is fine as there are plenty of players in WvW.
What should we do is all of us stack to the same server. (Which is the same in 2012 GW2 – all of the players stack to HOD server and HOD dominate the GW2 world. WvW will just dead as there is no one to fight. After that, anet have to rework the entire WvW mode because we ‘force’ them to do it.
This should be our ultimate plan ‘Stack on the same server,kill Gw2 WvW and force Anet to re-build it , if they don’t, the selling point of WvW for their next expansion will be a permanently delete.
The people vote for the 1 desert bl because anet said they will make the 3rd bl map. The problem is how long we have to wait for the 3rd bl map.
The WvW overhaul is a joke as the desert bl have no bloodlust. If the map is not balanced , do you think population balance will work? A___ , what a shame? Do they think cannon blueprint and repair hammer are more important than adding bloodlust to the desert bl and the 3rd bl map?
I am mad because the PVEs got another new content and a new map. The developer rather create lots of 3-hours PVEs content maps but ignore WvW maps we would like to spend thousand hour in it. Press M and look at the PVE world map. The true story is WvW got nothing because anet use all their manpower and resources develop these PVE dark areas.
WvW didn’t even have a ‘plan’ and the overhaul is a joke to fool 5 years old kids. If anet really cares about WvW , we should have a new WvW map every 3 months which same as the PVE living story.
Solution 2 is the best. Make WvW become EOTM , link all the server from T1to8 together and come with overflow maps / mega server would be nice. The population imbalance issue can finally be fixed.
Thanks anet for the deployable cannon, its pretty amazing. I and my PVE guildmates would like to have our big ‘Yes’ vote for it. It’s a nice idea because you are killing your gaming as fast as you can and hopefully, no one want to play WvW anymore. I am glad that everyday i login in WvW and my home borderland garrison is capped by 500+ cannon inside.
Please bring us the superior cannon blueprints so we can have more cancers in WvW.
I spent 1000+G on my boonsharing mesmer yesterday and you are going to nerf it to the ground? Well done, anet. Mesmer is my only character and i may lose my job in the raid and WvW. Don’t tell me to play another light armor class and switch the status of my ascended equipments.The first reason is anet may nerf them in the next balance patch. The second reason is when you are not in the meta , you are over. It is stupid as they don’t care what we want and just destroy our dreams. In addition, i have to farm for another 100 hours in the ember bay and bloodstone Fen for my berserker trinkets.
I remember there was a game i have spent about USD 300 on my equipments. They were powerful and work perfectly with my build. But three months later, a troll patch come out and make all my stuff become completely useless. The build isn’t work anymore, if you want to play the game please prepare another 300 USD. They lose half of their players after that and i think anet is following their step.
Is it possible to have 25 stack 1min+ Stability for a group of guard+boonshare mesmer+revenant with 100% boon duration ?
I don’t understand why anet launch PvP League seasons and esport with poor classes and skills balance, meta build , top pvp guild facerolling randam pugs, players exhausted after it , the overall ‘PVP’ population decreased , ’AFK pvp players, PVP troll , Gold seller , USD to legendary rank , cheaters , 5v4 matchup , disconnection , etc.
My guild members and i are burnout after the PvP League seasons and decided to leave the PVP game mode in gw2.
Anet should canel PvP League seasons & e-sport because it just bad as WvW tournament.
Anet can just apply the same system of PVP league to WvW tournament. There is no ‘server winner’ in the WvW tournament but personal victory. WvW players starts from rank 1 in the WvW tournament to rank 6 legendary. The more time and efforts spent in WvW the higher rank they are. WvW legendary back would be included in the legendary rank. It the easier way to solve all the problem of the WvW tournament but someone didn’t use their brain to ‘think’ and just said : WvW tournament is bad , lets buried it forever

They are run by different teams. Anet also seems to be “all-in” on sPVP shelling out thousands of dollars that could have been spent hiring several developers full time to develop content.
I’m not saying they’re ideologically consistent, but they had admitted the player dropoff is the reason they don’t hold wvw tournaments.
You didn’t answer my question, there is a player dropoff after the PVP league, why don’t anet hold the PVP league?

That is unfair to WvW players. Anet stop WvW tournament because of the population imbalance , the players exhausted after it and the overall WvW population decreased. But we find the same problem in the PVP seasons, why anet didn’t stop the PVP seasons with the reasons : poor classes and skills balance, meta build , top pvp guild facerolling randam pugs, players exhausted after it , the overall ‘PVP’ population decreased , ’AFK pvp players, PVP troll , Gold seller , USD to legendary rank , cheaters , 5v4 matchup , disconnection , etc. It is even worse than the WvW tournament. Anet you must explain it to us. Why did you think PVP seasons is a better match setup comparing to the WvW tournament. It is a worse match setup in my point of view.
BTW, where is our legendary back that can obtain from the WvW tournament.

Please stop trolling us,anet. No one want to play these maps. The roll chance of this map is too high (about 3 / week as daily). The sadness thing is we hardly have 1/week as daily for the old Swamp in the past days. I just want to say the new Swamp is not fun and please stop trolling the roll chances of it.

As the mixed Borderlands is adopted, i think Anet should work on the 3rd borderland map after the WvW score overhaul. I hope it can be finished before the next expansion.
I think the repair hammer should only usable on offensive siege like ram catas and golem. Make it unusable on defensive siege like arrow cart,treb and ballistic. So the players would be more offensive rather than sit in the tower with arroy carts and repair hammer
